Abstract

本发明涉及用于远程监视和用于与远离被监视位置的用户的通信的系统。在诸如民居、厂房和车辆的地点的安全监视的领域,本发明有特定的的用处(但绝非仅此)。
背景技术
现在的远程监视或警告系统由例如安全破坏(诸如闯入者触发了检测器或其它传感器的时候)所触发。从而建立了警告状态,使指示警告状态存在的警告指示信号被发送到远程监视地点。该警告指示信号然后可以触发在远程监视地点的铃当、灯等。在一些系统中,然后在远处的人可以通过例如闭路视频系统来检查被监视的位置。以这种方式,该人可以被雇佣以监视几个地点。或者,该人(即被监视的地点或车辆的所有者)可以被提供一便携的警告设备,其可以从被监视房屋接收指示警告状态的信号,这样便携的设备可以发出可听见的声音或警告以提醒该人警告状态存在和被监视的地点(房屋、车辆等)应该检查。
发明内容

警告传感装置,用于传感警告状态的出现;
数据收集装置,用于收集属于该警告状态的警告数据;和
数据传送装置,用于传送来自所述地点的所述数据,从而用户可以远程地检查所述警告状态;
其中所述警告数据包括离散数据包,以及所述系统包括数据评估装置,用于评估所述警告数据,并确定是否数据应该被提交到所述用户,如果应该,则确定提交到哪个或那些用户。
所述数据传送装置可以是到诸如因特网的通信网络的接口,或包括这样的通信网络。
最好是所述系统,更好是所述数据传送装置被配置成响应于所述警告状态,将所述数据至少发送到所述用户或所述用户和监视局。
最好是,所述数据包构成或形成电子邮件消息的一部分。

响应于所述警告状态,将所述警告数据包传送到至少一个远程位置或用于到所述至少一个远程位置的传送的通信网络;和
评估所述警告数据,并确定是否数据应该被提交到所述用户,如果应该,则确定提交到哪个或那些用户。
最好是,所述至少一个远程位置包含或包括一个用户位置。最好是,所述的方法将指示所述警告状态已经发生的信号至少发送到所述用户或所述用户和监视局。更好是,对照指示非警告状态的数据的查询表来评估所述警告数据。
最好是,所述警告数据包括音频流数据和/或视频流数据,更好是,所述警告数据在计算机网络上发送。
最好是,所述计算机网络包括因特网,更好是,所述警告数据通过电子邮件被发送。

具体实施方式
根据本发明的优选实施例的安全系统被示意性地图示在图1中的10。用于监视地点12的系统10包括传感器14、报警器16和控制装置18。被监视的地点12可以是比如民居、厂房或车辆。系统10可以连接到万维网或因特网24,可以被操作以便在万维网或因特网上送出电子邮件消息。
传感器14包括运动检测器或者其它这类装置,用于检测在地点12的安全破坏,其中当触发时,建立警告状态。该警告状态激活报警器16,不象现有技术的警报器通过在现场或远程地发出可听到和/或可看到的信号来响应该警告状态,报警器16以在传感器14已经检测到安全破坏的区域的视频流的形式发送警告数据。警告数据在万维网或因特网上发送。
系统10还包括监视局20,用于接收包含该警告数据的电子邮件消息。监视局20可以是自动或手动,可以以许多不同的方式响应于警告数据的接收。警告数据可以被检查(手动或自动)相关性,如果该警告数据被发现表示错误警告,则删除该警告数据,或者将其存储在适当的数据存储装置(通常是计算机)中以便以后分析。监视局20可以再次通过电子邮件再次发送警告数据到也连接到万维网或因特网24的用户22。然后用户22可以检查该警告数据,并按要求响应。用户也可以操作控制装置18(通过万维网或因特网24),或者直接通过安全地线(land line)26或其它合适的通信装置,以停止(disarm)或重置(rearm)系统10、控制在地点12的一个或多个设施、或请求其它数据。若地点12包括厂房,则警告数据可以表示对一些工业处理的失败(诸如装配线的问题)的响应,用户22可以使用控制装置18以修改该处理的操作。
最好,安全系统10包括智能卡28或可以由智能卡28操作,通过智能卡28,用户22可以访问地点12和/或控制系统10。
图2图示了图1的安全系统10的更具体的形式,包括以40示意性地示出的家庭安全系统。在图2中,相同的标号被用于指示图1的相同部件。

如同在图1的实施例中,系统40可以由智能卡28操作或包括智能卡28,该智能卡28访问被监视房屋和/或控制系统40。
本发明的另一个优选实施例在图3中示意性地示出,包括更复杂的家庭安全系统60。相同的标号被再次用于指示相同部件。系统60包括家庭基础系统62,类似于图3的实施例的系统42,但更详细地示出。系统60可以包括一种或多种类型的传感器64,用于传感安全破坏,诸如运动或温度检测器。控制模块18可以被操作以控制被监视房屋的门、在被监视房屋中的器具、或对讲电话装置,从而用户22可以对在被监视房屋的人讲话或交谈。
如同在上述的实施例中,当传感器64检测到安全破坏时,警告数据被收集。这可以包括被监视房屋的音频流和/或视频流、周围的温度或其它数据,再由电子邮件发送到监视局66和/或用户22。如果希望的警告数据可以由传感器64收集(例如,若传感器正在监视温度,则当温度超过预定阈值时警告状态存在),则传感器64也可以收集该警告数据。如果情况不是这样,则独立的警告数据收集装置将被包括在系统62中。例如,运动传感器可以被用于检测安全破坏,但视频摄象机可以被用于以视频流的形式收集警告数据。该警告数据当被电子邮件发送时,可以被称为“视频邮件”或“v-邮件”68。
监视局66类似于监视局20,但还包括“智能顾问”评估系统70,用于评估所接收的警告数据。
评估系统70被描述为“智能”,因为它可以被操作以执行远比仅仅检测警告数据的出现与否复杂的评估。
安全系统60被配置使得,当启动时,它从家庭系统62获得在实际警告状态下什么将被作为警告数据发送的例子。这被监视局66存储为查询表基线(base-line)数据,对照它,将来真正的警告数据可以被评估系统70比较。例如,在系统60中,警告数据包括被监视地点的视频流。在初始化时,可比较的视频流由电子邮件发送到监视局66,并存储在上述查询表中。在警告状态下,由监视局66接收的警告数据被评估系统70与存储在查询表中的数据相比较。例如,该比较可以包括两组视频数据的逐帧比较,或者每个数据组的一些大部分特性(诸如平均光强等)的比较。如果在预定的精确度下没有检测到差别,则评估系统70将认为警告状态是假的。否则,它将认为警告状态是真的,并发布闯入报告,包括警告数据和任何其它的相关信息(诸如数据和时间),其将由上述的电子邮件送到一个或多个执法部门54、邻居守望程序56和用户22。
在另一个实施例中(在图4中示意性地示出),监视系统80包括家庭安全系统82,其中一个或多个部件是直接可以再因特网上可见的,并具有独立的因特网协议地址。以这种方式,因特网服务提供商48变得多余,用户22或监视局66可以直接寻址单独的部件或系统80。例如,对讲电话装置84或视频电话86可以在因特网上被操作,从而用户可以在被监视地点的人对话。或者,智能卡访问设备88可以由用户22在因特网上操作,这样,智能卡不再需要被进入在监视的地点的智能卡读取器,而是可以被进入远程的智能卡读取器和被用于访问被监视的地点或者从远处安全地控制系统80。
在本发明的精神的范围内的修改可以很容易地由本领域的技术人员实施。例如,参考了用车辆的上述系统,但是该术语应该被理解为包括陆地、水上和空中的交通工具,由于使用移动和卫星电话,在监视系统的各种部件之间很容易建立通信(不管通过因特网还是其它)。因此,应该理解,本发明不限于由上面的例子所描述的特定实施例。
Claims (25)
1.一种监视系统,用于监视一个地点,包括:
警告传感装置,用于传感警告状态的出现;
数据收集装置,用于收集属于该警告状态的警告数据;和
数据传送装置,用于传送来自所述地点的所述数据,从而用户可以远程地检查所述警告状态;
其中所述警告数据包括离散数据包,并且所述系统包括数据评估装置,用于评估所述警告数据,并确定是否数据应该被提交到所述用户,如果应该,则确定提交到哪个或那些用户。
2.如权利要求1所述的监视系统,其中所述系统被配置成响应于所述警告状态,将所述数据至少发送到所述用户或所述用户和监视局。
3.如权利要求1所述的监视系统,其中所述数据传送装置被配置成响应于所述警告状态,将所述数据至少发送到所述用户或所述用户和监视局。
4.如权利要求1所述的监视系统,其中所述数据传送装置是到通信网络的接口或包括通信网络。
5.如权利要求4所述的监视系统,其中所述通信网络是因特网。
6.如权利要求1所述的监视系统,其中所述数据包构成或形成电子邮件消息的一部分。
7.如权利要求1所述的监视系统,其中所述系统包括数据存储装置,用于存储所述数据,用于以后的检查和/或分析。

12.如权利要求1所述的监视系统,其中所述评估装置被提供有或可以被操作以获得数据的查询表,这样所述评估装置可以通过比较所述警告数据和所述查询表数据,来评估所述警告数据。

18.一种监视一个地点的方法,包括:
监视所述地点的警告状态的出现;
通过捕获警告数据包来响应于所述警告状态;
响应于所述警告状态,将所述警告数据包传送到至少一个远程位置或用于传送到所述至少一个远程位置的通信网络;和
评估所述警告数据,并确定是否数据应该被提交到所述用户,如果应该,则确定提交到哪个或那些用户。
19.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中所述至少一个远程位置包含或包括一个用户位置。
20.如权利要求18所述的方法,包括将指示所述警告状态已经发生的信号至少发送到所述用户或所述用户和监视局。
21.如权利要求18所述的方法,包括对照指示非警告状态的数据的查询表来评估所述警告数据。
22.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中所述警告数据包括音频流数据和/或视频流数据。
23.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中所述警告数据在计算机网络上发送。
