Background
Hyperuricemia is a metabolic disease mainly manifested by uric acid abnormality. Along with the gradual improvement of the living standard of people, the incidence rate of hyperuricemia is increased day by day, and because the uric acid metabolism of patients is unbalanced, uric acid in the bodies is difficult to be discharged in time to form uric acid deposition, so a series of complications such as gout and the like are caused, so that the patients suffer pain and the life quality is seriously influenced. Uric acid is deposited on joints to form gout, gout is one of main diseases affecting the health and daily life of people at present, gout patients suffer from long-term pain and need to take medicines regularly, the economic burden is heavy, and the cure difficulty of the gout is extremely high. At present, hyperuricemia is mainly prevented and treated clinically from three aspects of reducing uric acid production, promoting uric acid excretion and promoting uric acid oxidation, so that the effect of the medicine is realized through the three ways.
Clinically, the commonly used drugs for inhibiting the synthesis of uric acid comprise xanthine oxidase inhibitors such as allopurin and febuxostat; clinically, the medicines for promoting uric acid excretion such as URAT1 inhibitors like sulpirenone and the like, and one medicine has the main function of promoting uric acid oxidation, so that at present, the clinically available medicines are few, only Labraziase is available, and other medicines are not clinically used and are still in the development stage. Western medicines have certain effects on preventing and treating hyperuricemia, but have large side effects, the health of patients can be damaged due to excessive taking, certain contraindications are provided on use, some medicines cannot be taken for a long time, some medicines are forbidden for patients with renal insufficiency, renal calculus and the like, and once the medicines are taken by mistake, serious consequences can be caused, so that the search for safe and effective medicines which can be used for a long time is urgent needs of the current medical field and patients with hyperuricemia.
At present, although western medicines have short-term curative effects on hyperuricemia and gout, the recurrence rate is high, the dependence is strong, and the western medicines have obvious toxic and side effects after long-term administration. The traditional Chinese medicine has a certain curative effect on treating and preventing hyperuricemia and gout attack, fully develops the concept of 'treating the disease' of the traditional Chinese medicine, takes prevention as the main part and treatment as the auxiliary part, and fully exerts the advantages of the traditional Chinese medicine.
