Abstract

Description

保护针头的套管
本发明总的涉及保护静脉注射针头的套管,特别是关于遮盖住使用后的针头的防止来自针尖的意外伤害的防护静脉针头的套管。
本发明涉及临床器械类,其中尖锐的针头被用来穿刺病人的皮肤,尤其是使用这样的针头插入导管,实行静脉刺孔。
内科医生直接将液体和药剂注射进病人的血液中是人们所熟知和常见的,在外科手术中,也常常需要输血和输液。传统上将这类液体输进病人的循环系统需要使用中空的不易弯的针头成功的实施静脉穿刺,针上带有一个输液用的配座以连接针头到静脉注射液源或诸如此类的东西。这种输液的方式在技术上引起一些问题。首先,在于静脉内的刚性针头要求通常在手臂上的针头为了安全在整个输液的过程中应保持在静脉穿刺的确定位置,而且可能是长时间的。其次,那里需要定期地抽取血样和/或连续给予静脉注射液的地方,病人可能每次者要遭受静脉穿刺,这样再三的静脉穿刺通常极易造成创伤。
最近已经实施将一柔性的导管插入静脉并留置在该处,以便定期地输液、输血和给药,收集血样等。用这种方法,避免了屡次静脉穿刺引起的创伤,出血,渗血等,克服了长时间将刚性的针头留在体内的危险和不适。为了将这种柔性的导管的远端置入体腔内,例如静脉血管,要使用管道的或者中空的针头进行静脉穿刺。静脉穿刺后,可伸缩地安装在针头上的导管相对于针头被移动进入病人的静脉血管。其后可以将针头从导管上完全分离并去掉。由于针头在病人体内可能受到病毒的感染,因此被取出后,如果临床人员偶然地被刺着,针头就会给这些人员带来感染病毒的危险。
用于向病人的静脉输液的静脉导管常被制造成两种通用形式:穿过针头的导管,在这种形式中,导管穿过针头管道并进入病人的静脉,和套针式导管,在这种形式中,针头和外面套着的同轴导管被插入静脉,然后将针头从安放就位的导管中抽出。
典型的套针式静脉注射用导管要求使用者在针头和导管正确地在病人的静脉定位后取出并随后处理被污染的针头。一旦针头从导管中抽出,使用者首先要做的是连接灌注装置并定位处置,包括将导液管固定在病人身上。由于操作的急迫,往往是将针头取下后随手放于附近,忙完后再收回。由于此时针头是暴露的并且就在使用者附近,使用者在工作时难免会偶然碰到针头,遭受伤害。
临床人员可能由于受用过的针头偶然刺伤沾染艾滋病或肝炎的可能性已经认真地被注意到,因此,现有技术中已经研制出用于防止这种偶然的刺破的有效的机壳。现在,临床人员暴露的症状范围,由于意外的针刺头伤包括艾滋病,更加重要的在于提供一种对上述人员提供不间断的防护的保护机构,亦即一种无需有意识的可先考虑就操作的器械,一种当针头从病人体内拔出时自动保护针头的机构。
Lemieux的美国专利4,952,207提出这个问题,并揭示出一种静脉注射导管,该导管能够使临床者免受可能导致危险感染传染的意外扎伤,导管是藉助于针头引入,在操作过程中所说的针头从病人体取出后进入不会暴露针尖的保护针的防护套内,针头的防护套被固定在针头抽出后的位置上,并且针头的抽出和锁定是在一个连续的运动中实现。
本发明是对Lemieux的专利的改进,该专利将结合图1-4作详细地说明。
因此,本发明的主要目的是提供一种保护静脉针头的套管。
本发明的进一步的目的是保护静脉针头套管的装置,它保证在针头从病人体内抽出后是安全的,不会发生意外的刺破。采用一个小的针头保护罩可靠地保护针头是合乎要求的,并且最好是在针头从病人体内取出时,不需经过使用者任何特殊动作的介入,针头保护罩就能自动地被移动到覆盖针头的位置。
根据上述教导,本发明提供一种具有自定位针头套的静脉注射导管,静脉注射导管由配有中空的导管套的导管,和一引导针头的部件组成。引导针头的部件包括一具有远端的中空的针头,针头在靠近近端处装在针头套上,它的远端适合于与中空的导管套连接。该针头沿其远端延伸方向具有大体上呈圆形的外形和在距远端一给定的距离具有非圆形的,可变形的外形,以便与针头保护套相啮合。针头保护套包括纵向长度大于上述给定的距离的远端与针头相同的非圆形的可变形的形状的近端,以便使针头的非圆形的变形部分能通过针头的近端而约束并阻止针头的圆形远部由此通过。该针头保护套被安装能与针头产生相对位移,当针头被从导管抽出,直到针头护套的非园形变形的外形啮合针头的园形远端,在该位置上,针保护套的远端正好覆盖并保护针头。
更详细地,针头保护套的非圆形的可变形外形也旋转地调整适合针头的方向,针头保护套进一步包括一能嵌入针腔的弹键装置,当弹键装置作用时,阻止针头保护套移回到针头的近端。非圆形的可变形的形状可以是椭圆形,或者变形的椭圆形,或者任何适合的非圆形的形状。针头保护套的远端最好由内径稍大于针头的外圆直径的圆柱形组成。
下面结合附图对几个优选实例的详细描述,本专业的技术人中能够很容易地理解作为防护针头套管的本发明的上述目的和优点,下面在各幅图中,相同的部分由同一标记数字表示,其中:

详细参看附图,图1表示根据Lemieux美国专利4,952,207的教导提出的静脉注射导管的构造。导管10包括由氟化乙丙烯或者聚氨酯材料制成的一管15。管15的远端14是锥形的,可以很容易地滑进空心的针头12刺入病人体内形成的孔。管15的近端同轴地固定在双直径的导管套16,18的顶部内。双直径的套在它的近端接在适合将导管套与给于静脉液的源的管状装置连接的接头或套筒。导管10中通过在它近端上的中空的针头12连接到针头套20中。
导管15的近端由套管40固定在导管套的远端16的通道17内。套管40位于导管的腔的近端内,通过将套管40压入导管的腔内套管引起导管的近端扩张,紧贴在通道17的内表面上,从而将导管套与导管固定在一起,防止两者之间的轴向移动。
中空的针头12从它的远端通过导管15和套管40延伸并进入在针头套20中心的通道27内。针头12的近端由环氧树脂24固定在针头套20的针头12的近端延伸超出该环氧树脂并且进入通道的便在固定过程中针头腔内不被环氧树脂充填。
针头套20的远端28对的直径稍小于针头套主体部分的直径。这个稍小的直径端便于嵌入导管套18的近端开口。
针头保护套30被置于导管套的空腔22中。图2是该针头保护套30的放大的剖面图,它类似一带凸缘的圆柱体。保护套的圆柱形的远端部份32有一内孔,其直径能使该部份32沿着针12头流畅地滑动。圆柱体部位32的内孔径恰好稍微大于针头的外径。在保护套30的近端是一具有中心小孔36的圆形锁紧凸缘34,该小孔与圆柱部分32的内孔是同轴的。凸缘小孔36的直径略小于针头12的外径。凸缘34和圆柱体部分32的近端有一水平地细长的可扩展裂缝38。针头保护套30由可弯曲的材料制成,因此凸缘和圆柱体部分能象下面所述的那样弯曲张开并且再度闭合。
同时参看图1和图3,当导管和导引器针头在使用前装配时,针头保护套在针头上滑动,以便滑动到接近针头套20的远端位置。由于凸缘小孔36略小于针头的外径,针头将展开针头保护套上的可扩展裂缝38。导管和导管套在针头上滑动直到套筒18与针头套的远端相接(如图1中所示)。针头保护套30因此被封闭在导管套的空腔22内。扩展的凸缘34使凸缘的顶部和底部与导管套的内壁相接,如图中39处所示。针头保护套因而被整洁地保持在导管套内腔22中。为确保空腔22内针头保护套的牢固,可进一步在导管套的内壁恰好接近保护套的预定位置处设置延伸出内壁的凸台,如图中44处上所示。
在使用者正确地将针头和导管的远端插入病人的动脉或者静脉后,正如通过快速换流器中血的出现表示的,不用指出,针头和针头套被从导管中抽出以便将输液装置连接到导管套上。当针头开始抽出时,针头保护套30沿着针头滑动,但仍处于空腔22中的位置,这是由于凸缘34和导管套在39处啮合。针头保护套30沿着针滑动如图3中所示。最后,针头被抽出,以便在针头12的针尖附近的一啮合槽50对准凸缘34。此时,保护套的扩展裂缝38弹回闭合,当环绕小孔36的凸缘的边缘卡入槽50。因为凸缘已不再扩展,也就不再卡住导管套,在与针头12和槽50的啮合下脱离空腔22,正如图4中所示。然后可以将针头安全地放在一边,而不会有意外伤害的危险。
图5是一针头保护套51位于导管套50的空腔53内的剖视图。图6是装在针杆54的近端上针头保护套51以及由针轴54在向上的位置上支托的弹键52的放大的剖视图。在图5中,弹键52紧靠在凸出部分55上,只要弹键52由针轴54在向上的位置上支托,它就阻止针头保护套51从空腔中拉出。
针头保护套51的近端有类似于孔的形状,该形状与针杆54的变形部份的形状相一致,图8中的一个实施例表示出,变形部份58,使它能自由地通过小孔滑动,但不是园形部份,即针头的未变形部分59。针头保护套51的远端有一孔,其长度大于针杆54的未变形部分,其形状和尺寸允许针杆的变形部分和未变形部分都能自由地在里面滑动。也就是类似于孔的形状是与针杆的形状相联系的,正如后面将更详细地描述的,防止针头保护套滑出,露出针杆的远端。
在使用者正确地将针尖和导管的远端插入病人的动脉或者静脉后,针头54和针头套56从导管中抽出。当针头抽出时,在弹键52的作用下,针头保护套51仍留在空腔53里。针头54的变形部分自由地通过针头保护套51滑动直到针头54的圆形的远端进入并固定在针头保护套51中,这是因为针头保护套51的内部形状,使针头54的圆形部分不能通过,从而阻止针头保护器51从针杆54的远端滑出。当针头54的圆形部分固定于针头保护套51中时,弹键52正处于针腔57的开口处,此时不再被针杆54的表面支撑,在弹键52弹性压力的作用下,落入针腔57的开口。当落入时,引发两件事情,第一,弹键52将阻止针头保护套从针杆上退回再露出针头,第二弹键52不再顶靠在凸台55上,以便使针头保护套51和弹键退出空腔53,且当其移出导管套时可靠地固定在针杆54的远端上。
在图7中表示出,当针头保护套51位于针杆54的远端时,弹键52进入针腔57的开口。
图8和图9是沿图6中A-A线的截面图,表示针杆的不同实施例的横截面。在图8的第一个实施例中,针杆分成一椭圆形变形部位58和一圆形部位59。在图9的第二个实施例中,针杆分为一向中心凹入变形部份58′和一圆形部份59′。
总之,圆形针杆的一部分被变成椭圆形(或者其它变形),并且针头保护套的内孔形状与那种变形的形状和尺寸相适应,这使得防护套能沿着变形的椭圆部份滑动,而不能使圆形部份滑动。这种设计不仅阻止了保护套超出针的远端位移,而且也防止了转动地定向保护套,以便使弹键装置能卡入针腔,防止保护套的针朝针的近端方向移动。
当本发明用于保护针套管的几个实施例和变形进行了详细地描述,应该明白,对于本专业的技术人员来说还也可按照本发明的公开的内容和教导可以提出许多变换。

Claims (6)

1.一种具有自定位针头套的静脉导管包括:
a.一个导管部件,包括一个装在一中空导管套上的导管;
b.一个引导针头部件,包括一个具有远端的中空的针头,所说的针头在其近端附近固定到针头套上,所说的针头套的远端是与上述中空的导管套相连接,所说的针头具有沿其远端延伸的大体上为圆形的外形,和由其远端在给定的距离上用于与针头保护套相连接的非园形的,可变形的外形;和
c.一个针头保护套,包括纵向长度大于所说的给定长度的远端部份和一具有与所说的针头相同的非圆形的变形的形状的近端,以便使针头的非圆形的变形部分通过的底部,但能连接并阻止针头的圆形的远端从此通过,所说的针头保护套被安装能与所述的针头产生相对位移,当所说的针头从所说的导管中抽出直到所说的针头套的非圆形的变形的形状连接所说的针头的园形的园形部份,在这一位置,所说的针头保护套的远端部份恰好覆盖住并保护所述的针头。
2.如权利要求1所述的静脉导管,其特征在于针头保护套的非圆形的变形部份转动地调整针头的非圆形的变形部份的方向,并且针头保护套进一步包括一能嵌入针腔的弹键装置,以便当弹键装置作用时,能阻止针头保护套朝针的近端方向移回。
3.如权利要求2所述的静脉导管,其特征在于该弹键包括一凸缘,当圆形的针杆出现并通过针头保护套延伸时,弹键的凸缘将该针头保护套定位在中空的导管套中。
4.如权利要求1所述的静脉导管,其特征在于非圆形的变形的形状是一椭圆形。
5.如权利要求1所述静脉注射导管,其特征在于非圆形的变形的形状是一向中心凹入的形状。
6.如权利要求1所述的静脉导管,其特征在于该针保护套的所述的远端部分由一内径大于所述的针的外圆直径的圆柱管组成。
