在本说明书及所附的权利要求书中,半透明度是这样评定的:用B.Lange博士的LMG008型反射计测定厚度为18.5mm皂片在本发明制备前后的光透射,其结果以标准毛玻璃的光透射百分率表示。标准玻璃与空气比较的透射为8.3%,以此标准透射作为100%。
虽然色皂对色有某些依赖性,但对于非色皂块或皂片这一差别可以忽略。
制作半透明皂和/或透明皂有两种基本方法。一种叫“溶剂法”,另一种叫“机械加工”法。
在“溶剂法”中,是将干的常规型的固态的香皂(toilet soap)溶于沸腾的乙醇中,或者在乙醇/水混合物中进行皂化。如果得到清透的溶液,用蒸发除去主要部分的乙醇以形成清透的粘稠皂溶液,将其倾入模中冷却。将固化的皂压制成所需要的形状并在条件调节室中放置数周。在条件调节过程中有更多的水和乙醇被蒸发掉,最后的终产品变得比较坚固。此方法的缺点是加工过程很长并且要用挥发的和有毒的溶剂进行工作,这从生态观点来看也是有缺点的。
所用的另一方法是所谓的“半沸”法,该方法是将一适合的脂肪原料的混合物与氢氧化钠的浓溶液在一封闭的混合容器中进行反应。在反应过程中只让水蒸汽逸出。皂化过程完全后游离出的甘油仍然存在于最后的皂产品中。在加入其它的所需添加组分后,将最后的热粘皂溶液倾入模中快速冷却(这样可增加透明度)。此后将产品成形(压印)、包装。
“机械加工”法包括冷的和部分干燥的皂基的某种强力机械加工或剪切。通常在干燥前要在液态皂中加入有效量的结晶抑制剂以便增加半透明性。半透明性只能在机械加工或剪切到相当程度后才能达到,例如在Z形刀片混合器中混合或使用3、4或5辊的钢磨进行多级碾磨或使用Cavitytransfer混合器,这种方法叙述于美国专利说明书US-A-2,970,116(LeverBrothers Company)和欧洲专利说明书EP-B-0,090,649(Unilever)中。另一方法是使用“超级”匀料器,该方法使部分半透明皂强行通过多微孔板或筛板系列,使其具有半透明性。此方法的缺点之一是在温度和压力占优势的条件下对剪切敏感的添加剂的质量剧烈降低,因此它们在终产品中远非最佳性能。再者,所得到的皂条是半透明的,并且通常是不透明的。而且在生产上有这样的限制,即皂需要在生产线上广泛地再循环以便得到正确的温度和要求的剪切量。此皂也有粘在压模上的趋向。
在制备半透明或透明皂中存在的问题之一中是在皂中掺入香料或芳香问题,因为这需要小心地操作。香料或芳香物质在正常情况下包括诸如香叶醇或檀香油之类的透明精油和一强化剂;常常也包括诸如人工麝香之类的合成香料和溶剂等。通常掺入皂中的香料组合物量一般是0.8-1.5%(重量),以皂组合物总量为基础计算。香料必须是耐碱的类型,但它应是对皮肤无刺激的并且使用经济。
一般,香料对半透明性是起反作用的,业已发现,为数众多的香料能使皂的半透明度显著下降。这种香料被定义为半透明或透明皂的“劣质香料”。在皂中引入溶解度特性稍微不同的新香料或芳香常常可导致透明度的剧烈下降。因此需要有能用于半透明或透明皂的香料组合物而不损害最终的加香皂的半透明性,不论香料的组成如何。
现已发现,经过反复实验,在香料或芳香组合物中掺入有效量的某种羧酸,如果将其加入皂中可导致半透明度的显著提高,甚至在使用“劣质香料”时,加入这种半透明度增强剂,结果也增加了半透明度。
因此,本发明涉及掺入半透明或透明皂的香料或芳香组合物,其特征是该组合物包括有效量的半透明度增强剂。
半透明度增强剂最好是具有6-22个碳原子和至少一个羧基的饱和或不饱和直链或有支链的羧酸。这种酸的混合物也是可以使用的。优选的半透明度增强剂是异硬脂酸或至少是具有8-22个碳原子的单不饱和脂肪酸聚合反应中得到的氢化的结构上改性的单体脂肪酸(其制备方法请见美国专利说明书US-A-2,812,342(Peters))。
一般,半透明度增强剂的量是香料或芳香组合物总量的25-95%(重量),优选30-80%(重量)。在特定条件下也可以使用较小的量,例如15%(重量)。
从日本专利申请JP-A-05/202,396(Lion公司)得知,可用分别形成香料和C6-C18脂肪酸的熔融混合物并将混合物冷却然后将香料浓缩物与皂混合的方法将香料掺入皂基。形成香料和脂肪酸混合物的目的是在储存时可将香料保持在皂中并以控制的方法从皂中释放出来。但在此公开的文献中是没有叙述或者甚至没有建议用C6-C18脂肪酸与香料的组合可导致皂半透明度的增强,即使这种香料是“劣质香料”,即在正常情况下使皂的半透明度降低的香料。事实上,此公开文献对半透明或透明皂是全然没有参考作用的。
皂包括可溶皂和不可溶皂的混合物。在本说明书及其所附的权利要求书中,“可溶”皂应理解为8-14个碳原子的饱和一元羧酸或脂肪酸盐,以及附加的油酸盐和8-22个碳原子的多不饱和羧酸或脂肪酸盐。“不可溶”皂在本说明书及所附的权利要求书中应理解为16-24个碳原子的饱和一元羧酸或脂肪酸盐。优选的一元羧酸或脂肪酸盐是钠盐,但也可以存在小量的钾皂、铵皂或烷醇胺皂。皂的选择决定于其可用性和成本,但适合的皂是得自椰子油、棕榈仁油、牛脂、氢化牛脂、棕榈油等以及它们的混合物。最好是使用从70-80%牛脂和20-30%椰子油、棕榈油和/或棕榈仁油制得的皂。
可掺入本发明香料或芳香组合物的半透明或透明皂也可包括一多羟醇,诸如丙二醇、甘油、聚乙二醇,以及多羟醇的混合物。优先选择使用甘油和/或山梨醇。糖或至少部分氢化的糖也是可以使用的。所用的多羟醇和/或糖最好形成总皂组合物重的5-15%。
皂料中也可包括一种或多种合成洗涤剂或非皂洗涤剂,这类洗涤剂可以是阴离子型的、非离子型的、两性离子型的或阳离子型的或者它们的混合物。通常,使用达总组合物重的25%的合成或非皂洗涤剂。
适合的阳离子洗涤剂包括季铵化合物,诸如如氯化硬脂酰基二甲基苯甲基铵以及类似物。
适合的两性离子洗涤剂包括烷基-β-亚胺基二丙酸酯和亚胺基丙酸酯和长链咪唑衍生物,诸如咪唑啉鎓甜菜碱。
适合的阴离子洗涤剂包括烷基芳基磺酸盐,诸如C10-C22烷基苯磺酸盐;烯烃磺酸盐;C10-C20石蜡烃磺酸盐;C8-C22脂肪酰肌氨酸盐;C8-C22脂肪酰羟乙磺酸盐和C8-C22脂肪酰-N-甲基牛磺酸化合物;C8-C22脂肪酸烷醇酰胺;C8-C20烷基硫酸盐和1-20摩尔2-5碳原子的烯化氧与一饱和直链或支链C8-C20脂肪族一元醇的反应产物的硫酸酯,诸如十二烷基乙醚硫酸钠。
适合的非离子洗涤剂包括1-50摩尔的C2-C4烯化氧与C8-C20伯或仲烷醇、二羟醇以及类似物的反应产物。
在皂中也可以包括高达总组合物重的25%的结晶改性剂,诸如羟基硬脂酸、二聚和/或三聚脂肪酸、反油酸以及它们的碱金属皂。
最后,在皂中也可以包括高达总组合物重的20%的水溶助长剂,诸如三乙醇胺、胺皂和表面活性剂。
有效量的官能添加剂也是可以存在的。官能添加剂可选自诸如生育酚、BHA、BHT和类似物之类的抗氧化剂,诸如EDTA和类似物之类的螯合剂,着色剂,除臭剂,染料,诸如化妆油之类的软化剂,酶,泡沫促进剂(可选自阴离子、两性离子、非离子和某些阳离子型表面活性剂,诸如椰子基羟乙磺酸钠、十二烷基乙醚硫酸钠、月桂酸二乙醇酰胺以及类似物),泡沫稳定剂,杀菌剂,起泡剂,增湿剂,光学增亮剂,染料,珠光剂,螯合剂,诸如二聚脂肪酸之类的皮肤调节剂,诸如丙二醇、甘油、山梨醇等的溶剂,稳定剂,诸如脂肪酸之类的富脂剂,紫外线吸收剂以及这些官能添加剂的混合物。
官能添加剂可以使用任何需要的量以行使所需要的官能特性,通常使用自0.01%左右的较小量至10%(重量)。但是一些添加剂可使用更大的量。
本发明的香料和芳香组合物最好应为抗碱型,其意是酯类是较少优选的组合物组分。香料也应该没有产生过敏反应的组分并且不刺激皮肤。对皮肤有某种程度的附着性是希望的。再者,组合物在掺入皂后应是储存稳定的并在光线和/或高温的影响下应不变色或褪色。
香料组分是,例如醇类,象香叶醇、香茅醇、芳樟醇等;酮类,象紫罗兰酮;苯醚,象黄樟素;合成香料组分,象麝香;但是也有其它的类型,诸如精油,象香叶天竺葵油、香柠檬油、紫罗兰油、柠檬油、广藿香油等。使用类柑桔属调香物质是优先选择的。
通常,香料或芳香组合物是用许多不同的化合物混合在一起的以便做成稳定的平衡香料,在使用或储存时它不会立即从皂中释放出来,但在使用时是以颇受控制的方式被释放的。
本发明的香料或芳香组合物在透明或半透明皂中的用量为总皂组合物的0.3%-10%(重量),优选0.5%-5%(重量)。
因此,本发明也涉及制备加香的透明或半透明皂的方法,其特征是在皂中掺入0.3%-10%(以总皂组合物重量为基础计算)的本发明的香料或芳香组合物。
本发明也涉及包括致香量的本发明的香料或芳香组合物的半透明或透明皂片或皂条。
最后,本发明也涉及在用于透明或半透明皂的香料或芳香组合物中使用6-22个碳原子和至少一个羧基的饱和或不饱和的直链或有支链的羧酸作为半透明度增强剂。
现本发明将以下面的实施例做进一步地说明。
实施例
(a)无添加剂透明皂的制备
制备由下列组分组成的皂配方:56.4%(重量)牛脂脂肪酸的钠皂;14.1%(重量)棕榈仁脂肪酸的钠皂;2.5%(重量)游离棕榈油脂肪酸;5%(重量)山梨醇;7%(重量)甘油;13.9%(重量)水。
将5Kg上述皂组合物与55g水(使水含量为15%(重量))混合后,皂组合物的温度为22℃。然后将皂组合物通过实验室用Mazzoni M-100型复式匀料/压条机,该机有0.5mm精炼筛,并在锥形出口端提供有45mm×19mm的矩形挤塑模头。机筒温度设定在30℃,锥形部分温度为57℃。压条机螺杆速度选定在2.5(与转速有关)。经六次通过复式匀料/压条机后组合物的温度为43.5℃。出料速度为35.1Kg/h。由此组合物得到的皂片的半透明度为18.3%。每次通过精炼压条机后测得的温度和半透明度如下:

用反射计测定(18.5mm皂的切片的光吸收评价其半透明度,其值以标准毛玻璃透光度的百分数表示。标准毛玻璃透光度与空气比较为8.3%,此值在测定中取作100%。半透明度值为15%的半透明皂被列为是可以接受的。
(b)只有半透明度增强剂的皂
使用上述(a)中的皂配方,以55克水与皂组合物混合5分钟,再以50克(1%(重量))异硬脂酸与皂组合物混合另外5分钟,混合后的温度为22℃。将皂组合物按上述(a)中相同的步骤在相同条件下再循环。经六次再循环后,得自此组合物的皂片的半透明度为27.7%。皂条的温度为43.3℃,出料速度为51.6Kg/h。

使用上述(a)中的皂配方,以55克水与皂组合物混合5分钟,再以50克(1%(重量))香料Uniff1(得自International Flavors & Fragrances,TheNetherlands)与皂组合物混合另5分钟。混合后的温度为22℃。将皂组合物按上述(a)中相同步骤在相同条件下再循环。再循环六次后,得自此组合物的皂片的半透明度为24.3%,皂条温度为43.2℃,出料速度为43.2Kg/h。

使用如上述(a)中的皂配方,以55克水与皂组合物混合5分钟,再以100克(2%(重量))香料混合体A(按1∶1重量比混合(c)中所述Uniff1和异硬脂酸制备)与皂组合物混合另5分钟。混合后的温度为22℃。将皂组合物按上述(a)中的步骤在相同条件下再循环。经六次循环后,得自此组合物的皂片的半透明度为43.9%。皂条的温度为44.2℃,出料速度为48.3Kg/h。

从实验1(a)、1(b)、1(c)和1(d)可以清楚地看出,在香料中加入半透明度增强剂对皂片的半透明度值有增效作用。
实例例II
(a)有香料的皂
使用如实施例I(a)中的皂配方,以55克水与皂组合物混合5分钟,再以50克(1%(重量))香料椰子48733(得自Fragrance Oils(International)LimitedManchester,UK)与皂组合物混合另5分钟。混合后的温度为22℃。将皂组合物按实施例I(a)中所述的相同步骤在相同的条件下再循环。经六次再循环后,由此组合物所得的皂片的半透明度为10.7%,皂条温度为43.4℃,出料速度为43.2Kg/h。

使用如实施例I(a)中相同的配方,以55克水与皂组合物混合5分钟,再以75克(1.5%(重量))香料C93.8155(得自Créations AromatiquesGenèva,Switzerland)与皂组合物混合另5分钟。混合后温度为22℃。将皂组合物按实施例I(a)中所述相同方法在相同条件下再循环。经六次再循环后,由此组合物得到的皂片的半透明度为19.7%,皂条温度为44.2℃,出料速度为54.0Kg/h。

Claims (10)
1、一种掺入半透明或透明皂的香料或芳香组合物,其特征在于该组合物包括有效量的半透明度增强剂。
2、权利要求1的香料或芳香组合物,其特征在于半透明度增强剂是具有6-22碳原子和至少-个羧基的饱和或不饱和、直链或有支链的羧酸。
3、权利要求1的香料或芳香组合物,其特征在于半透明度增强剂是异硬脂酸。
4、权利要求1的香料或芳香组合物,其特征在于半透明度增强剂是具有8-22个碳原子的至少是单不饱和脂肪酸的聚合中得到的氢化的结构上改性的单体脂肪酸。
5、权利要求1的香料或芳香组合物,其特征在于半透明度增强剂是半透明度增强剂的量为25%-95%(重量),以总组合物为基础计算。
6、权利要求1的香料或芳香组合物,其特征在于半透明度增强剂是半透明度增强剂的量为30%-80%(重量),以总组合物为基础计算。
7、一种制备加香料的半透明皂或透明皂的方法,其特征在于在皂中掺入了0.3%-10%(重量)(基于总皂组合物计算)的权利要求1-6的香料或芳香组合物。
8、权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于在皂中掺入了0.5%-5%(重量)(基于总皂组合物计算)的权利要求1-6的香料或芳香组合物。
9、一种半透明或透明的皂条或皂片,它包括致香量的权利要求1-6的香料或芳香组合物。
10、使用具有6-22个碳原子和至少一个羧基的饱和或不饱和的直链或有支链的羧酸于香料或芳香组合物作为半透明度增强剂以制备半透明或透明皂。
