As described in the background art, in the conventional front wheel mounting assembly, when the front wheel is impacted from the front, the mounting end connected to the front wheel receives a first force from the front, and the first force can be decomposed into a first component force directed in the disengaging direction of the disengaging end and a second component force perpendicular to the disengaging direction of the disengaging end, and the first component force and the second component force are transmitted to the disengaging end along with the swing arm, and the disengaging end can be disengaged only by the action of the first force, so that the disengaging end can be disengaged from the front subframe under the action of the first component force. Because the magnitude of the first component force decomposed by the first acting force is limited, if the connection strength of the release end and the front auxiliary frame is too high, the first component force cannot release the release end, so that the release end can be released from the front auxiliary frame when the front wheel is impacted from the front by weakening the strength of the connection part of the release end and the front auxiliary frame, after the strength of the connection part of the release end and the front auxiliary frame is weakened, the fatigue resistance and the durability of the front wheel assembly can be reduced, and the design contradiction between the fatigue resistance and the durability of the front wheel assembly and the collision safety performance is raised.
In order to solve the above-mentioned technical problem, the present inventor constructed the swing arm of the front wheel mounting assembly such that when the mounting end receives a first force from the front and greater than a preset threshold, the first arm section deforms toward the front subframe and presses the front subframe, and when the first arm section deforms and presses the front subframe, the front subframe generates a second force on the first arm section that is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to the pressing force of the first arm section against the front subframe, the second force is split into a third component force in a release direction toward the release end and a fourth component force in a release direction perpendicular to the release end, the third component force and the fourth component force are transmitted to the release end along with the swing arm, and the third component force forms a release force for releasing the release end together with the first component force in the release direction split along with the first force transmitted to the release end by the swing arm. When the first acting force with the same magnitude is generated by the impact of the same degree, the action of the second acting force generated by the front auxiliary frame is added at the disengaging end, the disengaging force borne by the disengaging end is obviously increased, the disengaging end can still be disengaged when the connecting strength of the disengaging end and the front auxiliary frame is higher, the disengaging of the disengaging end can not depend on the strength of the connecting part of the weakening disengaging end and the front auxiliary frame, the connecting strength of the disengaging end and the front auxiliary frame can be higher, the fatigue resistance and the durability of the connecting part of the disengaging end and the front auxiliary frame are improved, and the design contradiction between the fatigue resistance and the durability of the front wheel mounting assembly and the collision safety performance is solved.
The front wheel mounting assembly and the automobile provided by the application are described in detail below in connection with specific embodiments.
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a front subframe and swing arm connection in a first perspective in an embodiment of a proposed front wheel mounting assembly; FIG. 2 is a schematic view of a front subframe and swing arm connection in a second view in an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a front subframe and swing arm connection in a third perspective in an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; FIG. 4 is a schematic view of a first arm segment of a swing arm deformed and contacting a front subframe in an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; FIG. 5 is a force analysis chart of FIG. 4; fig. 6 is a schematic view of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly with the release end of the swing arm released from the front subframe.
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, the present embodiment provides a front wheel mounting assembly including: front subframe 100 and swing arm 200, swing arm 200 is connected to the left and right sides of front subframe 100.
The swing arm 200 includes intersecting first and second arm segments 210, 220, the first arm segment 210 including a forward connecting end 213 and a rearward rotating end 214, the second arm segment 220 including a disengaging end 222 proximate the front subframe 100 and a mounting end 221 distal from the front subframe 100, the connecting end 213 being fixedly secured to a rear portion of the second arm segment 220, the rotating end 214 being rotatably connected to the front subframe 100, the disengaging end 222 being fixedly secured to the front subframe 100.
The swing arm 200 is configured such that when the mounting end 221 is subjected to a first force from the front that is greater than a preset threshold, the first arm segment 210 deforms toward the front subframe 100 and presses the front subframe 100 to disengage the disengaging end 222 from the front subframe 100.
In the above embodiment, when the mounting end 221 receives the first force from the front and greater than the preset threshold, the first arm segment 210 deforms toward the front subframe 100 and presses the front subframe 100, and when the first arm segment 210 deforms and presses the front subframe 100, the front subframe 100 generates a second force on the first arm segment 210, which is equal to and opposite to the pressing force of the first arm segment 210 on the front subframe 100, and the second force is decomposed into a third component force in the disengaging direction of the disengaging end 222 and a fourth component force perpendicular to the disengaging direction of the disengaging end 222, the third component force and the fourth component force are transmitted to the disengaging end 222 along with the swing arm 200, and the third component force forms a disengaging force for disengaging the disengaging end 222 together with the first component force in the disengaging direction decomposed along with the first force transmitted to the disengaging end 222 by the swing arm 200. When the first acting force with the same magnitude is generated by the impact with the same degree, the action of the second acting force generated by the front auxiliary frame 100 is added at the disengaging end 222, the disengaging force borne by the disengaging end 222 is obviously increased, the disengaging end 222 can still be disengaged when the connecting strength of the disengaging end 222 and the front auxiliary frame 100 is higher, the disengaging of the disengaging end 222 can not depend on weakening the strength of the connecting part of the disengaging end 222 and the front auxiliary frame 100, the connecting strength of the disengaging end 222 and the front auxiliary frame 100 can be higher, the fatigue resistance and the durability of the connecting part of the disengaging end 222 and the front auxiliary frame 100 are improved, and the design contradiction between the fatigue resistance and the durability of the front wheel mounting assembly and the collision safety performance is solved.
It should be understood that, in the present application, the direction in which the vehicle travels is taken as the front direction, and correspondingly, in the front wheel mounting assembly, the direction in which the vehicle travels after the front wheel mounting assembly is installed on the vehicle is taken as the front direction, the deformation of the first arm section 210 may be bending, the side surface of the first arm section facing the front subframe 100 is convex, and the like, so long as the first arm section 210 can be deformed and then can be pressed against the front subframe 100, and the release end 222 can be released from the front subframe 100.
The installation end 221 is used for installing a front wheel, a ball pin for installing the front wheel can be arranged at the installation end 221, the disengaging end 222 can be fixedly connected with the front auxiliary frame 100 through a mounting frame, longitudinal beams can be arranged on the left side and the right side of the front auxiliary frame 100, the disengaging end 222 and the rotating end 214 of the swing arms 200 on the two sides can be respectively connected with the corresponding longitudinal beams, and the first arm section 210 can deform towards the corresponding longitudinal beams on the front auxiliary frame 100 and press the corresponding longitudinal beams in a touching manner, so that the disengaging end 222 is disengaged from the front auxiliary frame 100.
In some possible embodiments, the flexural strength of at least a portion of the first arm segment 210 is less than the flexural strength of the second arm segment 220.
This arrangement facilitates bending of the second arm segment 220 while maintaining the shape of the first arm segment 210 to contact the front subframe 100. The first arm segment 210 is bent when the mounting end 221 is acted by the first acting force by adjusting the strength of each part of the swing arm 200, so that the structure is simple, the manufacture is convenient, and the cost is low.
In some examples, the first arm segment 210 and the second arm segment 220 are a unitary structure.
By the arrangement, stress concentration at the joint of the first arm section 210 and the second arm section 220 can be reduced, and the risk of bending at the joint of the first arm section 210 and the second arm section 220 due to stress is reduced.
Of course, the first arm segment 210 and the second arm segment 220 may be two segments manufactured independently, and the first arm segment 210 and the second arm segment 220 are fastened and connected by the connecting structure, so long as at least part of the bending strength of the first arm segment 210 is ensured to be smaller than the connection strength of the first arm segment 210 and the second arm segment 220.
FIG. 7 is a schematic view of a swing arm in a fourth perspective in an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly;
FIG. 8 is a schematic view of a swing arm in a fifth perspective in an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; fig. 9 is a bottom view of a swing arm in an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly.
As shown in fig. 7-9 and referring to fig. 1-6, in some possible embodiments, the first arm segment 210 includes a first segment 211 and a second segment 212, the front end of the first segment 211 is a connection end 213, the rear end of the first segment 211 is fixedly connected with the front end of the second segment 212, the rear end of the second segment 212 is a rotation end 214, and the bending strength of the second segment 212 is less than the bending strength of the first segment 211 and less than the bending strength of the second arm segment 220.
So set up, when the installation end 221 receives first effort to act on, the second section 212 of rotating the connection with preceding sub vehicle frame 100 takes place to bend, and the position of bending is close to the position of second section 212 rotation connection, does benefit to the position of bending and touches preceding sub vehicle frame 100, can reduce the demand to the deformation volume of taking place to buckle, in addition, can also reduce the influence to swing arm 200's radius of rotation after taking place to deform.
In some possible embodiments, the radial cross-section of the first section 211 and the radial cross-section of the second section 212 are each a plane defined by a plurality of sides connected end to end in sequence, and the number of sides of the radial cross-section of the first section 211 is greater than the number of sides of the radial cross-section of the second section 212.
By such arrangement, the radial stress of the first section 211 is more dispersed relative to the second section 212, and the first section 211 is less likely to bend relative to the second section 212, so that the bending strength of the first section 211 is greater than that of the second section 212.
It is understood that the radial cross-sectional sides of the first section 211 and the second section 212 may be straight sides or arc sides, and correspondingly, the side surfaces of the first section 211 and the second section 212 may be flat surfaces or arc surfaces.
In some possible embodiments, the first segment 211 is provided with a chamfer feature 215 or rounded corner feature at least one corner in the circumferential direction.
So arranged, the number of sides of the radial cross section of the first section 211 is increased by providing a chamfer structure 215 or a rounded corner structure at the corners of the circumference of the first section 211, which is simple to manufacture.
For example, chamfer structures 215 are provided at the corners of the left and right sides of the upper surface of the first section 211.
Of course, the corresponding mold may also be designed to produce a first arm segment 210 having a greater number of radial cross-sectional sides of the first segment 211 than the radial cross-sectional sides of the second segment 212.
In some examples, the first section 211 and the second section 212 are a unitary structure.
By this arrangement, the stress concentration at the junction of the first section 211 and the second section 212 can be reduced, and the risk of breakage due to stress at the junction of the first section 211 and the second section 212 can be reduced.
Of course, the first section 211 and the second section 212 may be two sections manufactured independently, and the first section 211 and the second section 212 are fastened and connected by the connecting structure, so long as the bending strength of the second section 212 is ensured to be smaller than the connection strength of the first section 211 and the second section 212.
In some possible embodiments, a reinforcing plate 217 is securely attached to the surface of the first section 211.
By this arrangement, the bending strength of the first section 211 can be improved by the reinforcing plate 217, and the manufacturing is facilitated.
For example, a reinforcing plate 217 may be fastened to the bottom surface of the first section 211.
In some examples, the surface-secured stiffener 217 of the first segment 211 extends to a corresponding side of the second arm segment 220 and is secured to the second arm segment 220.
By the arrangement, the strength of the connection part between the connection end 213 and the second arm segment 220 can be improved, and the risk of bending the connection part between the connection end 213 and the second arm segment 220 due to stress is reduced.
In some examples, the thickness of the first section 211 is greater than the thickness of the second section 212.
In this manner, the first section 211 advantageously has a greater flexural strength than the second section 212, and the first section 211 and the second section 212 advantageously are integrally formed from the same material.
In some examples, the width of the first section 211 is greater than the width of the second section 212.
In this manner, the first section 211 advantageously has a greater flexural strength than the second section 212, and the first section 211 and the second section 212 advantageously are integrally formed from the same material.
In some examples, the strength of the material forming the first segment 211 and the second arm segment 220 is greater than the strength of the material forming the second segment 212.
In some examples, the first section 211 is provided with reinforcing ribs extending along its length.
This arrangement facilitates increasing the flexural strength of the first section 211.
In some possible embodiments, the second section 212 is provided with a lightening hole 216.
By the arrangement, on one hand, the weight of the swing arm 200 can be reduced, the lightweight design of the automobile is facilitated, and on the other hand, the strength of the second section 212 can be reduced, and the second section 212 is facilitated to be bent.
In some possible embodiments, the distance from the connecting end 213 to the front subframe 100 is greater than the distance from the rotating end 214 to the front subframe 100, and the first arm segment 210 is an arcuate arm segment that curves toward the front subframe 100.
This arrangement facilitates deformation of the first arm segment 210 in the direction of the front subframe 100 when the mounting end 221 is subjected to a first force from the front.
In some possible embodiments, the second arm segment 220 is provided with a stiffener 223 extending along its length.
This arrangement facilitates increasing the flexural strength of the second arm segment 220.
In some examples, the stiffener 223 includes an enlarged portion that extends to a corresponding surface of the first arm segment 210.
So set up, do benefit to the intensity that improves linkage segment and second arm segment 220 junction, reduce the risk that link 213 and second arm segment 220 junction atress take place to buckle.
