Background
The front wheel mounting assembly is used for connecting a front wheel and a vehicle body so as to mount the front wheel on the vehicle body. The small offset collision condition refers to a condition when the front of the automobile collides with a barrier with a small overlap amount with the transverse width of the automobile body. The China insurance automobile safety index and the American Highway safety and insurance Association perform small offset collision condition tests on barriers with the overlapping amount of 25 percent of the transverse width of the automobile body. When the automobile is in small offset collision, the front wheels are violently impacted due to large pressure and large collapse degree of the collision part. At this time, in order to prevent the front wheels from moving backward and invading the driving space to affect the living space of the driver and passengers, the front wheels which are impacted can be thrown out towards the transverse outer side of the vehicle body.

As described in the background art, in the conventional front wheel mounting assembly, when the front wheel is impacted from the front, the mounting end connected with the front wheel receives a first acting force from the front, the first acting force can be decomposed into a first component force towards the disengaging direction of the disengaging end and a second component force perpendicular to the disengaging direction of the disengaging end, the first component force and the second component force are transmitted to the disengaging end along with the swing arm, the disengaging end can only depend on the action of the first acting force, and the condition that the disengaging end can be disengaged from the front subframe under the action of the first component force needs to be ensured. Because the magnitude of the first component force decomposed by the first acting force is limited, if the connection strength of the disconnection end and the front subframe is too high, the disconnection end cannot be disconnected by the first component force, so that the disconnection end can be disconnected from the front subframe only by weakening the strength of the connection part of the disconnection end and the front subframe when the front wheel is impacted from the front, the fatigue resistance and the durability of the connection part of the disconnection end and the front subframe are reduced, and the design contradiction between the fatigue resistance and the durability of the front wheel assembly and the collision safety performance is raised.
In order to solve the technical problem, the inventor of the scheme constructs the swing arm of the front wheel mounting assembly into a structure that when a mounting end receives a first acting force which is from the front and is larger than a preset threshold value, a first arm section deforms towards a front auxiliary frame and presses the front auxiliary frame, when the first arm section deforms and presses the front auxiliary frame, the front auxiliary frame generates a second acting force which is equal to and opposite to the contact pressure of the first arm section to the front auxiliary frame on the first arm section, the second acting force can be decomposed into a third component force facing a disengaging direction of the disengaging end and a fourth component force perpendicular to the disengaging direction of the disengaging end, the third component force and the fourth component force are transmitted to the disengaging end along with the swing arm, and the third component force and a first component force facing the disengaging direction and resolved from the first acting force transmitted to the disengaging end along with the swing arm form a disengaging force for disengaging the disengaging end. When the front wheel mounting assembly is impacted to generate first acting force with the same degree, the action of second acting force generated by the front auxiliary frame is added at the release end, the release force borne by the release end is obviously increased, the release end can still be released when the connection strength of the release end and the front auxiliary frame is higher, the release end can be released without weakening the strength of the connection part of the release end and the front auxiliary frame, the connection strength of the release end and the front auxiliary frame can be higher, the improvement of the fatigue resistance and the durability of the connection part of the release end and the front auxiliary frame is facilitated, and the design contradiction between the fatigue resistance and the durability of the front wheel mounting assembly and the collision safety performance is solved.
The front wheel mounting assembly and the automobile provided by the application are described in detail with reference to specific embodiments.
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a front subframe and swing arm connection at a first perspective view of an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; FIG. 2 is a schematic view of the front subframe and swing arm connection at a second perspective view of an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the front subframe and swing arm connection at a third perspective view of an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; FIG. 4 is a schematic view of a first arm segment of a swing arm deforming and contacting a front subframe of the proposed embodiment of the front wheel mount assembly; FIG. 5 is a force analysis diagram of FIG. 4; FIG. 6 is a schematic illustration of the proposed embodiment of the front wheel mounting assembly after the release end of the swing arm has been released from the front subframe.
As shown in fig. 1-6, the present embodiment provides a front wheel mounting assembly, which includes: the front subframe 100 and the swing arm 200, the swing arm 200 is connected to both the left and right sides of the front subframe 100.
The swing arm 200 includes a first arm section 210 and a second arm section 220 intersecting with each other, the first arm section 210 includes a front connection end 213 and a rear rotation end 214, the second arm section 220 includes a release end 222 close to the front subframe 100 and a mounting end 221 far from the front subframe 100, the connection end 213 is fastened to the rear portion of the second arm section 220, the rotation end 214 is fastened to the front subframe 100, and the release end 222 is fastened to the front subframe 100.
The swing arm 200 is configured such that when the mount end 221 is subjected to a first force from the front greater than a predetermined threshold, the first arm section 210 deforms toward the front subframe 100 and presses against the front subframe 100 to disengage the disengagement end 222 from the front subframe 100.
In the above embodiment, when the mounting end 221 receives a first force from the front and greater than the predetermined threshold, the first arm section 210 deforms toward the front subframe 100 and presses against the front subframe 100, and when the first arm section 210 deforms and presses against the front subframe 100, the front subframe 100 generates a second force with the same magnitude and opposite direction as the contact pressure of the first arm section 210 against the front subframe 100, the second force can be decomposed into a third component force in the disengagement direction toward the disengagement end 222 and a fourth component force perpendicular to the disengagement direction of the disengagement end 222, the third component force and the fourth component force are transmitted to the disengagement end 222 along with the swing arm 200, and the third component force forms a disengagement force for disengaging the disengagement end 222 along with the first component force in the disengagement direction transmitted to the disengagement end 222 along with the swing arm 200. When the same degree of impact generates the same first acting force, the action of the second acting force generated by the front sub-frame 100 is added at the release end 222, the release force applied to the release end 222 is obviously increased, the release end 222 can still be released when the connection strength of the release end 222 and the front sub-frame 100 is higher, the release of the release end 222 can be realized without weakening the strength of the connection part of the release end 222 and the front sub-frame 100, the connection strength of the release end 222 and the front sub-frame 100 can be higher, the fatigue resistance and the durability of the connection part of the release end 222 and the front sub-frame 100 can be improved, and the design contradiction between the fatigue resistance and the durability of the front wheel mounting assembly and the collision safety performance is solved.
It should be understood that, in the present application, the direction of the vehicle running is taken as the front, and correspondingly, in the front wheel mounting assembly, the direction of the vehicle running after the first arm section 210 is mounted on the vehicle is taken as the front, the deformation of the first arm section 210 may be a bending, a protrusion of the first arm section toward the side of the front subframe 100, and the like, as long as the first arm section 210 can be deformed to contact with the front subframe 100 and to disengage the disengagement end 222 from the front subframe 100.
The mounting end 221 is used for mounting front wheels, a ball pin for mounting the front wheels can be arranged at the mounting end 221, the disconnecting end 222 can be fixedly connected with the front subframe 100 through a mounting frame, longitudinal beams can be arranged on the left side and the right side of the front subframe 100, the disconnecting end 222 and the rotating end 214 of the swing arms 200 on the two sides can be respectively connected with the corresponding longitudinal beams, and the first arm section 210 can deform towards the corresponding longitudinal beams on the front subframe 100 and touch and press the corresponding longitudinal beams, so that the disconnecting end 222 is disconnected from the front subframe 100.
In some possible embodiments, the bending strength of at least part of first arm segment 210 is less than the bending strength of second arm segment 220.
With this arrangement, the second arm section 220 can be bent first to press the front subframe 100 while maintaining the shape of the first arm section 210. The first arm section 210 is bent when the mounting end 221 is acted by the first acting force by adjusting the strength of each part of the swing arm 200, and the structure is simple, the manufacture is convenient and the cost is low.
In some examples, first arm segment 210 and second arm segment 220 are a unitary structure.
By the arrangement, stress concentration at the joint of the first arm section 210 and the second arm section 220 can be reduced, and the risk of bending of the joint of the first arm section 210 and the second arm section 220 under stress is reduced.
Of course, the first arm segment 210 and the second arm segment 220 may be two segments separately manufactured, and the first arm segment 210 and the second arm segment 220 are tightly connected by the connecting structure, as long as the bending strength of at least part of the first arm segment 210 is ensured to be smaller than the connecting strength of the first arm segment 210 and the second arm segment 220.
FIG. 7 is a schematic view of a swing arm of an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly, from a fourth perspective;
FIG. 8 is a schematic view of a swing arm in a fifth perspective of an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly; fig. 9 is a bottom view of a swing arm in an embodiment of the proposed front wheel mounting assembly.
As shown in fig. 7-9 and referring to fig. 1-6, in some possible embodiments, the first arm segment 210 includes a first segment 211 and a second segment 212, a front end of the first segment 211 is a connection end 213, a rear end of the first segment 211 is fixedly connected to a front end of the second segment 212, a rear end of the second segment 212 is a rotation end 214, and a bending strength of the second segment 212 is less than a bending strength of the first segment 211 and less than a bending strength of the second arm segment 220.
So set up, when installation end 221 received first effort to act on, the second section 212 of being connected with preceding sub vehicle frame 100 rotation takes place to bend, and the position of bending is close to the position that second section 212 rotation is connected, does benefit to the position of bending and touches and press preceding sub vehicle frame 100, can reduce the demand to the deformation volume of taking place to buckle, in addition, still can reduce the influence to the radius of rotation of swing arm 200 after taking place deformation.
In some possible embodiments, the radial cross section of the first section 211 and the radial cross section of the second section 212 are planes defined by a plurality of side edges connected end to end, and the number of the side edges of the radial cross section of the first section 211 is greater than the number of the side edges of the radial cross section of the second section 212.
With this arrangement, the radial stress of the first section 211 is more dispersed than that of the second section 212, and the first section 211 is less likely to bend relative to the second section 212, so that the bending strength of the first section 211 can be made greater than that of the second section 212.
It is understood that the side edges of the radial cross section of the first section 211 and the second section 212 may be straight edges or arc edges, and correspondingly, the side surfaces of the first section 211 and the second section 212 may be flat surfaces or arc surfaces.
In some possible embodiments, at least one corner of the first section 211 in the circumferential direction is provided with a chamfer structure 215 or a fillet structure.
With this arrangement, the number of sides of the radial section of the first section 211 is increased by providing the chamfer structure 215 or the fillet structure at the circumferential corner of the first section 211, which is simple to manufacture.
For example, the corners of the left and right sides of the upper surface of the first section 211 are provided with chamfer structures 215.
Of course, the corresponding mold may also be designed to produce a first arm segment 210 having a greater number of sides of the radial cross-section of the first segment 211 than the number of sides of the radial cross-section of the second segment 212.
In some examples, the first section 211 and the second section 212 are a unitary structure.
By the arrangement, stress concentration at the joint of the first section 211 and the second section 212 can be reduced, and the risk of breakage caused by stress at the joint of the first section 211 and the second section 212 is reduced.
Of course, the first section 211 and the second section 212 may be two sections separately manufactured, and the first section 211 and the second section 212 are securely connected by the connection structure as long as the bending strength of the second section 212 is ensured to be smaller than the connection strength of the first section 211 and the second section 212.
In some possible embodiments, a reinforcing plate 217 is fixedly attached to a surface of the first section 211.
With such an arrangement, the bending strength of the first section 211 can be improved by the reinforcing plate 217, and the manufacturing is convenient.
For example, a reinforcing plate 217 may be fastened to the bottom surface of the first section 211.
In some examples, the surface-fast-connected stiffener plates 217 of the first segment 211 extend to corresponding sides of the second arm segment 220 and are fast-connected with the second arm segment 220.
So set up, can improve the intensity of link 213 and second arm section 220 junction, reduce the risk that the stress of link 213 and second arm section 220 junction took place to buckle.
In some examples, the thickness of the first section 211 is greater than the thickness of the second section 212.
Thus, the bending strength of the first section 211 is larger than that of the second section 212, which is beneficial to integrally manufacture the first section 211 and the second section 212 by using the same material.
In some examples, the width of the first section 211 is greater than the width of the second section 212.
Thus, the bending strength of the first section 211 is larger than that of the second section 212, which is beneficial to integrally manufacture the first section 211 and the second section 212 by using the same material.
In some examples, the strength of the material forming first section 211 and second arm section 220 is greater than the strength of the material forming second section 212.
In some examples, the first section 211 is provided with a reinforcing rib extending along the length thereof.
So set up, do benefit to the bending strength who improves first section 211.
In some possible embodiments, lightening holes 216 are provided on the second section 212.
So set up, can alleviate the weight of swing arm 200 on the one hand, do benefit to the lightweight design of car, on the other hand can reduce the intensity of second section 212, does benefit to make second section 212 take place to bend.
In some possible embodiments, the connecting end 213 is located at a greater distance from the front subframe 100 than the pivot end 214 is located at the front subframe 100, and the first arm section 210 is an arc-shaped arm section that bends toward the front subframe 100.
This configuration facilitates deformation of the first arm section 210 toward the front subframe 100 when the mounting end 221 is subjected to a first force from the front.
In some possible embodiments, the second arm segment 220 is provided with a rib 223 extending along its length.
So set up, do benefit to the bending strength who improves second arm section 220.
In some examples, the stiffener 223 includes an enlarged portion that extends to a corresponding surface of the first arm segment 210.
So set up, do benefit to the intensity that improves linkage segment and second arm section 220 junction, reduce the risk that the atress of link 213 and second arm section 220 junction took place to buckle.
