Abstract
通过用涂布了聚合物膜的剥离片(14)贴到织物基质(11)上,将该聚合物固化并撕掉该剥离片来制造一种涂布聚合物的工业用布的方法。该聚合物涂层理想的是网状的,即包含二维孔眼的网络,从而提供可渗透性。
Description
本发明涉及工业用布,例如造纸机用布或类似用途的布。
工业用布在使用中存在纤维脱毛和耐磨的问题。本发明力图解决这些问题。
工业用布,如波纹纸制造机用布带,表面改进的一个已知方法是采用水基丙烯酸类聚合物的卷绕辊。但这种方法不是特别可靠。
按照本发明的第一个方面,提供了一种制造工业用布的方法,包括下列步骤:提供一种织物基质,提供一种贴在剥离片上的成膜聚合物,将所述聚合物施加在上述基布的一个表面上,使聚合物固化并撕掉剥离片,以提供一种具有织物基质、在该基质至少一面上涂布和/或浸渍了成膜聚合物的工业用布。适合的成膜聚合物的例子包括环氧树脂、增塑溶胶(即溶解在仅有最少量溶剂中的一种聚合物)或含水聚氨酯体系。
本发明的布作为压机毡垫特别有用。这种布也可用作波纹纸制造机用布带,其中聚合物涂层涂布在布的边缘区域,用以增加这些区域的耐磨性。这种布也适于用作过滤布,由于带涂层的布表面平滑性改善,使得滤饼的剥离性得到改善。
聚合物膜提供了一个较硬的较耐磨损的表面,具有改善的耐磨性。它还能防止纤维脱落。当用作造纸机用布涂层时,其另一个优点是这种改善的表面平滑性减少了在造纸机上所需的启动时间。通常,布要在造纸机上开始运转,需要用一定的时间来使表面平稳,然后才能开始工作。
本发明的方法可有利地用来提供网状聚合物涂层,即包含二维孔眼网络的涂层,从而具有透气性。
按照本发明的第二个方面,提供了一种包含织物基质的工业用布,其中该织物基质的至少一面涂布和/或浸渍了一种成膜聚合物,该聚合物涂层是网状的。
使用剥离纸涂布树脂的方法可以将布的热定型步骤与树脂处理步骤合并(如果希望的话),而传统的涂布工艺则是使用含水的树脂乳液体系,这需要大量的能量输入,才能除去水分,按照本发明的方法只需消耗少量的能量。网状树脂涂层确保了纤维脱落的减少,因为多孔表面纤维被更有效地垫住。该方法的优点还在于不产生废流出物或溶剂,这就表明该方法从生态学上看更可被接受。进一步的精加工包括使用比较均匀的低旦纤维毛层表面。用已知方法,如选用毛层纤维旦数和/或针刺技术控制的表面纤维密度较大时,可以使树脂涂布较均匀,从而由于减少了形成树脂富集区域的机会而减少了脆性。以固化温度为代价增加固化时间可以改善韧性。
剥离片典型地可包括剥离纸、铝箔或涂布了聚乙烯或PTFE(聚四氟乙烯)的非织造布。聚合物应呈薄膜形式。
织物基质可通过至少一个辊筒送入。剥离片应送入到织物和一个辊筒之间的夹缝中。纸应保持在张力下以避免折痕。剥离片相对于基质/辊筒的送入角度较好的为35-55°,更好基本上为45°。对于确保涂布均匀的树脂涂层,并通过确保剥离片保持在高张力下来防止该剥离片折痕来说,这个送入角度是重要的。
辊筒较好在160-200℃加热,这要依所用聚合物而定,这样做可以使树脂膜热固化,但是也可以使用可用化学方法、水或空气固化的树脂,取消对加热辊的要求,当然,为了造成所要求的网状化,可能还需要用一些热量。网状化取决于剥离片的表面特征和热的影响。选择剥离片表面特征时应考虑到树脂能在布上达到所要求的网状化。
较好使用压实的辊筒迫使树脂进入织物(布),表面,从而增加膜的平滑性。可以涂布一层或多层树脂。
膜的网状化可用在高温下树脂发生流态化来解释,由于纸的表面能低,树脂无法使剥离片的表面湿透,因而形成微滴。这些微滴相互连接,当涂布到织物(布)表面上时,就在表层纤维附近形成网状。
为了更好地理解本发明,下面仅以举例方式参照附图说明本发明的具体实施方案,其中:
图1是说明按照本发明制造工业用布的示意图;及
图2是说明树脂在剥离片上形成网状化的示意图,该剥离片用于生产按照本发明工业用布的方法中。
图1说明用于涂布环氧树脂涂层的装置10。织物基质11绕在两个可转动的大园筒12、13上,其中至少一个园筒被加热。环氧树脂膜由剥离纸14提供。涂布的剥离纸安装在进料辊15上,并在张力下送入到两个加热滚筒中之一和织物基质之间的夹缝中。由此涂层就被涂布到布带的内侧。用过的剥离片当其通过滚筒顶部出来时就能剥下,并被送到收集辊16上。可任选地装设一个压实辊筒17,用来将树脂压入到织物表面区域中。待树脂固化后将涂布的织物内侧翻过来,使织物的涂树脂侧置于带条的外侧,即纸侧。
图2表示能提供给织物网状环氧粘合剂涂层的一种剥离片。剥离纸上的树脂涂层以及由此产生的织物涂层,其上均有孔眼。织物上树脂涂层中的孔眼使位于下面的织物得以暴露,从而提供了一种可渗透的涂层。
实例
在辊筒温度为120-160℃、压实辊压力为约20kg/cm2的条件下将Fibredux913G(Ciba Composites的RTM)涂布到针刺压机毡垫上制得样品,Fibredux913G是一种将水不溶的多官能环氧树脂(含有改性二氰基二酰胺)流延涂布在剥离片上得到膜厚为34克/米2的一种材料。
经测定用二层树脂处理过的织物(布)其透气性为59.5(64)cfm,在21OZ压力下在标准金刚砂砂网上磨擦5000次后原有厚度保留率为95.7(85.7)%,RzD表面粗糙度为28(32)微米(用Surcom表面光度测定仪测定),厚度为3.47(3.32)mm,重量为1505(1361)克/米2。括弧内数值为未经处理样品的数值。
应当理解的是,上述实例只是举例说明而已。许多变更和改变都是可能的。
Claims (10)
1.一种制造工业用布的方法,包括下列步骤:提供一种织物基质,提供一种贴在剥离片上的成膜聚合物,将所述聚合物施加在上述基布的一个表面上,使聚合物固化并撕掉剥离片,以提供一种具有织物基质、在该基质至少一面上涂布和/或浸渍了所述成膜聚合物的工业用布。
2.如权利要求1要求的制造工业用布的方法,其特征在于所述聚合物涂层是网状的。
3.如权利要求1或2要求的制造工业用布的方法,其特征在于所述聚合物包括下列任何一种:环氧树脂、增塑溶胶或含水聚氨酯体系。
4.如前述权利要求中任何一项所要求的制造工业用布的方法,其特征在于所述剥离片包括下列任何一种:聚硅氧烷剥离纸、铝箔、涂布了聚乙烯或PTFE的非织造布。
5.如前述权利要求中任何一项所要求的制造工业用布的方法,其特征在于所述涂布聚合物的剥离片以35-55°角送入所述织物基质。
6.如前述权利要求中任何一项所要求的制造工业用布的方法,其特征在于所述涂布聚合物的剥离纸基本上以45°角送入所述织物基质。
7.如前述权利要求中任何一项所要求的制造工业用布的方法,其特征在于将所述聚合物加热,以便使该聚合物固化和/或产生网状。
8.如前述权利要求中任何一项所要求的制造工业用布的方法,其特征在于所述工业用布包括造纸机用布、波纹纸制造机用布带或过滤布。
9.一种包含有织物基质的工业用布,其特征在于所述织物基质的至少一个表面涂布和/或浸渍了一种成膜聚合物,该聚合物涂层是网状的。
10.如权利要求9要求的工业用布,其特征在于所述工业用布包括造纸机用布、波纹纸制造机用布带或过滤布。
