150 patients with cough were selected and randomized into three groups of 50 patients, all meeting the following cough diagnostic criteria:
1) clear respiratory tract infection symptoms, such as pharyngalgia, sneeze, cough, fever, rhinorrhea, etc.;
2) the X-ray chest radiography examination is abnormal, and the sputum cytology examination is normal;
3) cough caused by external gastroesophageal reflux, cough variant asthma, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer and the like are not included.
Specific information for each experimental group is as follows:
1) experiment group one: 28 men and 22 women, wherein the ages are 20-63 years, the mean age (39.75 +/-6.23) years, the course of disease is 3-8 years, and the mean course of disease (4.58 +/-1.36) years;
2) experiment group two: 29 men and 21 women, age 19-62 years, mean age (39.15 + -6.09) years, course 3-8 years, mean course (4.53 + -1.34) years;

It should be noted that, in the present evaluation experiment, the total disease efficacy was determined by calculating the efficacy index according to the nindipine method, where the efficacy index (N) ═ integration before treatment-integration after treatment)/integration before treatment × 100%.
Wherein, the clinical cure is as follows: the curative effect index (N) is more than or equal to 95 percent, and clinical symptoms and physical signs disappear or basically disappear;
remarkably: the curative effect index (N) is more than or equal to 70 percent, and the clinical symptoms and physical signs are all improved;
the method has the following advantages: the curative effect index (N) is more than or equal to 30 percent, and the clinical symptoms and physical signs are improved;
and (4) invalidation: the curative effect index (N) is less than 30%, and the clinical symptoms and physical signs are not obviously improved or aggravated.
The day cough reference score table and the night cough reference score table in table 3 below were referenced to obtain day and night cough score tables for the three cough treatment groups in table 5 before and after 2 weeks.
