Description

在工作模式和备用模式下 显示屏上都有活动图象的设备
本发明涉及一种设备,该设备包括切换装置,用以使设备在工作模式与备用模式之间切换;一个显示屏;和图象发生装置,用以在备用模式下在显示屏上产生一图象。
当设备是按照微软视窗程序工作的一台PC(个人电脑)时,例如,若在一段预定的时间之内没有通过键盘的操作指令被执行,则众所周知,应将工作模式切换到备用模式。备用模式是属于所谓“省屏”模式,这时图象例如变暗或处于阻止显示屏发光一段时间内的变化过程。
本发明的目的在于提供一种设备,该设备在备用模式时更吸引观众,它能提供另外一种改变图象的方法。
本发明设备的特征在于,它包括一测量装置,用以测量设备周围环境的参数值,该测量装置连接到图象发生装置上,以按照测量值的变化来改变备用模式下的图象组成。最好这样来选取该环境参数,使得设备使用者能直接感受该参数(利用通常的物理表达式,这些表达式不是专用在供设备工作模式用的控制器件上的表达式)。这更多地涉及到随时间的变化。这样,本设备防止了在备用模式时只显示一个相同的单调图象,使用者在设备留在备用模式时就能(也许是下意识地)感受到图象组成的变化。
本发明设备的一个实施例的特征在于该参数是一声信号。值得提起的是,在各种途径中,声信号是能由使用者感受的简单信号,使得图象组成可随其产生各种变化。
本发明的一个实施例的特征在于,所述测量装置安置成能测量声信号的下列参量至少之一:
-音量
-音调
-音量最大时的频率,并且所述图象发生装置安置成能按照上述参量至少之一的变化来改变图象的组成。其他可用的参数例如可以是环境温度、环境光强、环境光线的光谱成分等等。
本发明的一个实施例的特征在于,所述测量装置安置成能测量声信号的至少两个上述参量,并且所述图象发生装置安置成能按照每个所测参量的变化来感应各自单独的图象组成的变化。通过引入对每一种变化作出的单独一种反应,可使图象有各种各样的变化。
本发明的一个实施例的特征在于,所述图象发生装置安置成能按照所测值的变化来改变下列图象特性至少之一:
-颜色成分
-所显示物体的大小
-所显示物体的数目。例如,尺寸的变化能配合音量的变化,颜色的变化能配合频率的变化,另一个的变化能配合音调的变化。不过,也可以其他方式组合,甚至使用者自己也可调整所用的组合。
本发明特别适合用在电视接收机上,该接收机通常是由用户将其在工作模式和备用模式之间进行切换的。但是本发明也可用在其他设备上,不仅用于“省屏”目的,也用于“省能”目的,这时通常在工作模式下设备加有能量的部分在备用模式下则不加或少加能量。一般来说,在备用模式下,设备的主要部分(例如接收部分)基本上不工作,即不起其原来的作用(例如不给显示屏提供信息和/或由用户明确选定的信息)。
以下结合附图更详细描述本发明的各个方面及其优点。附图中:
图1示出本发明的设备;
图2示出图象组成的一个实例。
图1以举例方式示出电视接收机形式的一个设备1,该接收机包括带有输入和输出端的接收及解码部分10。接收机1还包括话筒15,话筒接测量单元16,测量单元本身则接图象发生装置17。图象发生装置17的输出端和接收及解码部分10的输出端都接收到开关12上,开关12有选择地将两输出端之一连到一图象显示装置14上。该图象显示装置包括一显示屏18。开关12由一控制单元13控制。
工作期间,控制单元13接收例如来自一遥控器的切换指令。响应该指令,控制单元13能使开关12在第一位置与第二位置之间来回切换,其中第一位置表示将接收及解码部分10接到图象显示装置14上的位置(未表示在图上),而第二位置表示将图象发生装置17接到图象显示装置14上的位置。第一位置相应于设备1处于工作模式,而第二位置相应于设备1处于备用模式。
在工作模式下,设备起一电视接收机作用,于是显示装置14在显示屏18上显示出在接收及解码部分10的输入端上所收到的视频信号(例如从空间、从有线电视引线、或从录象机等来的视频信号)。
在备用模式下,显示装置14在显示屏18上显示出由图象发生装置17产生的图象。图象发生装置17包括例如一个处理器(未示出),以执行一绘图程序而产生图象。该绘图程序提供了例如包括许多不同色彩、直径和位置的圆盘图象。
话筒15从设备1的周围环境拾取声音,然后发出信号给测量单元16。测量单元确定该信号的若干参量,例如音量(在一预定周期例如1秒钟内平均的信号幅度)、音调(例如穿过信号相继两个零点的周期长短)、和峰值频率,即作为时间函数的音量出现最大值的两个时刻之间的时间间隔的倒数。
将这些参量的测量值送入图象发生装置17,从而产生随测量值而变化的图象。
图2示出图象20的一个例子。例如,在声音信号出现峰值的每一时间,图象发生装置17都使图象20加入尺寸正比于音量而颜色的波长正比于音调的圆盘22a-d。圆盘产生之后过一些时间又消失掉。
显然,这种图象20仅仅是给出的一个例子,许多其他形式的图象也可以,只是都要与声音信号的所测参量相关。例如,可不用圆扇形图形发生器发出图象,而用一个可执行图象产生指令的图形系统,该构图指令(例如Adobe(R)的文单附录中所述的,或如微软(R)视窗(R)中所用的构图指令)事先储存在一个存储器里,并且按照声信号参量来增补(例如位置、颜色、旋转或尺寸比例的指令)。
另外,也可采用储存在一个存储器中的“小精灵”(代表物体一部分影象的位图),例如动物小精灵。在图象发生期间,该小精灵的内容再现成影象。这样,就可从存储器储存的不同的小精灵中选择具有可选择影象特性的例样(例如不同的动物),使影象中显示的尺寸、色彩、移动速度、方向和路径依赖于周围环境例如声信号参量的测量值而变化。还可用风景图象作为背景,或按照环境参量的测量值引入各种变化(例如季节效应、天气状况等等)。其他各种可能性也是存在的。
最好是,图象组成的变化是逐渐增加的变化,这意味着不是每一时间都产生新的图象,即其组成与前一图象无关,只是图象每一时间仅产生局部变化。
图象和这些图象依从环境参数的方式也可以由设备自动在一段时间后(例如几小时周期后或几周之后)加以改变,或者由用户自己改变。于是,小精灵的类型或图象特性之间的相互关系和环境参数的性质可以是变化的。
尽管本发明特别适用于电视接收机和供图象再现的监视器,且在本文中作了描述,然而本发明还能用到其他装置例如个人电脑上。除了用于测量声信号的话筒15之外,也能用其他类型的感测器,例如供测量其他环境参数如环境中的温度、周围光线、物体移动等参数。这些感测器也可用来与话筒组合或结合在一起,以启动图象中的各相应变化过程。

Claims (6)

1.一种设备,包括切换装置,用以使设备在工作模式与备用模式之间切换;一个显示屏;和图象发生装置,用以在备用模式下在显示屏上产生一图象;其特征在于,还包括测量装置,用以测量所述设备周围环境的参数值,该测量装置连接到图象发生装置上,以按照测量值的变化来改变备用模式下的图象组成。
2.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述参数为声信号。
3.如权利要求2所述的设备,其特征在于,所述测量装置安置成能测量声信号的下列参量至少之一:
-音量
-音调
-音量最大时的频率,并且所述图象发生装置安置成能按照上述参量至少之一的变化来改变图象的组成。
4.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述测量装置安置成能测量声信号的至少两个上述参量,并且所述图象发生装置安置成能按照每个所测参量的变化来感应各自单独的图象组成的变化。
5.如权利要求1到4之一所述的设备,其特征在于,所述图象发生装置安置成能按照所测值的变化来改变下列图象特性至少之一:
-颜色成分
-所显示物体的大小
-所显示物体的数目。
6.如权利要求1到5之一所述的设备,其特征在于,该设备构成一电视接收机,安置成在工作模式下在显示屏上显示从外部接收到的视频信号。
