Abstract

In a multi-screen type display device, each of cores 71a to 71d has a color sensor 74 which transmits to a microcomputer 76 a received light data generated based on a reflected light from a screen 77. The received light data is compared to a predetermined value which has been already stored in the microcomputer 76. A control signal is transmitted to a contrast and/or brightness control circuit 78 and a display unit 73 based on a comparison result to eliminate a fluctuation of a characteristics of each unit in each of the cores 71a to 71d, so that a picture quality of the pictures displayed on the screen is increased.
