上述方法允许在卸料输送机的输送方向上将第一条带精确地连接到第二条带。然而,卸料输送机和保持第二条带的夹具之间的公差累积是不可避免的。在高度方向上,公差累积高达0.5毫米并不罕见。由于一些条带的高度仅为十分之几毫米,因此这种公差累积是不可接受的。此外,如果条带用所谓的“斜面拼接”连接,则重叠的第二条带相对于卸料输送机上的第一条带的未对准可能导致在接头处从条带的表面突出的尖锐边缘,如图18中所示。所述突出边缘可能引起将被施加到所述表面上的后续轮胎层的变形。
本发明的目的是提供一种连接条带以形成轮胎部件的连接装置和方法,其可以提高连接质量。
发明内容
根据第一方面,本发明提供了一种连接装置,用于将第一条带的后端连接到第二条带的前端以形成轮胎部件,其中,所述连接装置包括具有保持表面的保持构件,所述保持表面用于将第二条带保持在支撑平面上方延伸的保持平面中,其中保持构件设置成将第二条带保持到保持表面,前端从保持构件在平行于保持平面的突出方向上突出第一突出距离,其中,
连接装置包括偏转构件,用于相对于第二条带的其余部分使第二条带的前端朝向支撑平面偏转。偏转构件可以确保第二条带的前端是第二条带的处于首先接触支撑平面的位置的仅有的部分,没有保持构件和与所述保持构件相关的公差。
在另一实施例中,偏转构件可在横向或垂直于保持平面的偏转方向上运动到偏转位置,在偏转位置,偏转构件至少部分地从保持平面朝向支撑平面突出。通过使偏转构件穿过保持平面或从保持平面朝向支撑平面突出,偏转构件可使前端偏离其在所述保持平面中的初始位置。
优选地,偏转构件被偏压以运动到偏转位置,其中,偏转构件可以在与偏转方向相反的缩回方向上克服偏压运动到齐平位置,在该齐平位置,偏转构件与保持平面齐平或基本齐平。与刚性安装或主动驱动的偏转构件不同,被偏转的偏转构件允许偏转构件在施加足够的压力以将前端在支撑平面处压靠在支撑构件的支撑表面上时向后运动。因此,前端不会在偏转构件和支撑构件之间不必要地变形或压缩。
或者,连接装置包括偏转致动器,该偏转致动器可操作地连接到偏转构件,用于主动地驱动偏转构件沿偏转方向的运动。偏转致动器允许精确控制偏转构件的位置。
在另一实施例中,偏转构件设置有主体和从主体朝向保持构件延伸的延伸部。这最小化了偏转构件和保持元件之间的距离。特别是,第二条带在保持元件和偏转构件之间的未保持部分应该保持最小。
优选地,所述保持构件设置有凹部,以容纳偏转构件的延伸部。该凹部可以接纳偏转构件的延伸部,尽可能靠近保持元件。
在另一实施例中,其中,偏转构件在背离保持构件的一侧设置有曲率。在所述前端与支撑表面接触时,该曲率允许第二条带的前端的至少一部分再次向上偏转。
在另一实施例中,所述连接装置包括具有支撑表面的支撑构件,该支撑构件用于将该第一条带和该第二条带分别支撑在第一条带位置和第二条带位置的支撑平面中,所述第一条带位置和所述第二条带位置分别位于连接线的相对侧。

具体实施方式
图1-4示出了根据本发明的连接装置3,其在根据本发明的第一实施例的方法的步骤中用于将第一条带1连接、压制或拼接到第二条带2以形成轮胎部件。
轮胎部件优选是用于构建绿色或未硫化轮胎的破碎帘布层或主体帘布层。第一条带1包括条带主体10,条带主体10具有顶表面11、底表面12、后端13和斜面端面14,斜面端面14以第一斜角B1与底表面12相接以形成后缘(atrailing edge)15。第二条带2包括条带主体20、顶表面21、底表面22、前端23和斜面端面24,斜面端面24以第二斜角B2与顶表面21和底表面22相接,分别形成前缘25和凹入边缘26。各个条带1、2的斜角B1,B2相同或基本相同。条带主体10、20通常由未硫化的、绿色的和/或粘性的弹性材料制成,其易于粘附。在破碎帘布层的情况下,条带1,2包括嵌入的加强帘线,优选钢加强帘线。连接装置3设置成用于将第一条带1的后端13在其相应的斜面端面14、24处连接、压制或拼接到第二条带2的前端23,以形成所谓的“斜面拼接”。
如图1所示,连接装置3包括支撑构件4,例如桌子或传送带,具有支撑表面40,优选为平面支撑表面40,用于将第一条带1和第二条带2分别支撑在连接线L的相对侧的第一条带位置P1和第二条带位置P2中或在第一条带位置P1和第二条带位置P2处的支撑平面S中。连接装置3还包括保持构件5,例如夹具或其他合适的操纵器,具有保持表面50,优选为平面保持表面50,用于将第二条带2保持在第二条带位置P2处在支撑平面S上方延伸的保持平面R中。保持构件5设置有保持元件51,优选地为真空保持元件或磁性保持元件的形式,以将第二条带2保持在保持表面50上。连接装置3设置成用于定位第二条带2的前端23。如图1所示,其中所述前端23比第二条带2的其余部分更靠近支撑平面S,其方式将在下文中更详细地说明。
保持构件5通过一个或一系列机械部件(未示出)相对于支撑构件4定位,例如,机械导向器、机械臂、机械手等的部分。这些机械部件不可避免地导致保持构件5相对于支撑构件4的定位中的公差累积。所述公差累积在图2中示意性地示出为相对于支撑平面S上方的保持平面R的最小高度H的正公差T或负公差T.
为了抵消公差累积T,连接装置3设置有偏转构件7,用于使第二条带2的前端23相对于第二条带2的其余部分朝向支撑构件4偏转。偏转构件可在横向或垂直于保持平面R的偏转方向F上运动到偏转位置,如图1所示,其中偏转构件7至少部分地从保持平面R朝向支撑平面S突出或在保持平面R下方。在本发明的第一实施例中,偏转构件7通过偏转构件8(例如弹簧或弹性支座构件)偏压运动到如图1所示的偏转位置。这允许偏转构件7能够克服在与偏转方向F相反的缩回方向上的偏压运动到齐平位置,如图4所示,其中偏转构件7与保持平面R齐平或基本齐平。
通过偏转第二条带2的前端23,所述前端23比第二条带2的其余部分更靠近支撑平面S。当第二条带2的偏转前端23随后在支撑平面S处放置到支撑表面40上时,如图2所示,前端23至少部分地偏转回到与第一条带1的后端13对齐。与仍然保持在支撑平面S上方的保持构件5的第二条带2的其余部分不同,前端23被牢固且精确地放置在支撑平面S上,而与保持构件5的公差累积无关。
如图1和2所示,连接装置3可设置有可运动的固定器9,以将第一条带1的后端13的位置压紧和/或固定在支撑构件4的支撑表面40上或相对于支撑构件4的支撑表面40固定。固定器9在图1中处于释放位置并且在图2中处于固定位置。根据固定器9是独立地支撑还是相对于保持构件5支撑,固定器9可以仅用于压住第一条带1,而固定器9可以在平行于连接方向J的方向上在所述第一条带9上运动。
连接装置3设置成在支撑构件4和保持构件5之间提供相对运动M。相对运动M包括在垂直于支撑平面S的放置方向K上的第一分量M1,以将连接方向上第二条带2的前端23置于与支撑平面S接触,以及在与连接线L倾斜或横向相交的连接方向J上的第二分量M2,以使连接方向上第二条带2的前端23与第一条带1的后端13接触。
在该示例性实施例中,连接方向J平行于或基本平行于支撑平面S。放置方向K垂直于支撑平面S。相对运动M的第一分量M1和第二分量M2例如可以通过相对于保持构件5运动支撑构件4或者通过相对于支撑构件4运动保持构件5来提供。
连接装置3还设置有控制单元6,该控制单元6可操作地和/或电子地连接到支撑构件4和/或保持构件5,用于控制在连接方向J和放置方向K上的上述相对运动M的分量M1、M2。
下面参照图1-4说明使用上述连接装置3将第一条带1的后端13连接到第二条带2的前端23的方法。
图1示出了保持构件5位于支撑平面S上方并且第二条带2保持在其上的情况。保持构件5相对于支撑构件4处于高处,使得第二条带2在第二条带位置P2上方,远离支撑平面S。第一条带1在第一条带位置P1处放置在支撑构件4上,相对于第二条带位置P2位于连接线L的相对侧、被施加偏压的偏转构件7处于偏转位置,从而使第二条带2的前端23偏转到连接方向。
图2示出了在保持构件5和支撑构件4之间沿着放置方向K的相对运动M的受控第一分量M1之后的情况,从而使偏转的前端23接近、接触并偏转抵靠支撑构件4的支撑表面40。相对于支撑表面40的偏转使得第二条带2的前端23在连接之前与第一条带1的后端13对齐。注意,特别是各个条带1、2的斜面端面14、24彼此平行或基本平行和/或第二条带2在前端23处的底表面22被迫进入与支撑平面S平行或基本平行的方向。在图2中,第一条带1和第二条带2仍然间隔开。
图3示出了在保持构件5和支撑构件4之间在连接方向J上的相对运动M的受控第二分量M2之后的情况,以封闭第一条带1和第二条带2的前端23之间的间隙。注意,保持构件5仍然将第二条带2的其余部分保持在上方并且远离支撑平面S。
图4示出了通过在保持构件5和支撑构件4之间沿放置方向K进一步相对运动直到第二条带2的底表面22放下到支撑平面S处支撑构件4的支撑表面40上的受控铺设之后的情况。或者,可以通过停用保持元件51的保持功能来简单地降低第二条带2。
图7更详细地示出了根据本发明第一实施例的连接装置3。这些细节决不是对上述连接装置3的更一般描述的限制。如图7所示,偏转构件7可设置有主体70和从主体70朝向保持构件5延伸的延伸部71,以使偏转构件7与保持元件51之间的距离最小化。尤其是,保持元件51和偏转构件7之间的第二条带2的未保持部分应保持最小。为此,优选的是,保持构件5也设置有凹部52,以容纳和/或接收偏转构件7的延伸部71,其尽可能靠近保持元件51。在该示例性实施例中,偏转构件7的背离保持构件5的一侧设置有曲率72,以在所述前端23与支撑表面接触时,允许第二条带2的前端23的至少一部分再次向上偏转。
图7进一步示出了偏压构件8作为可弹性压缩的点接触件80,例如通过球或衬套,作为图1-4中示意性示出的弹簧8的替代。偏压构件8优选地支撑在或安装在保持构件5上。因此,偏压构件8设置成使偏转构件7相对于保持构件5偏置。
图7还示出了固定器9被支撑或安装到保持构件5,因此被设置成与所述保持构件5一起在连接方向J上运动。固定器9具有略微凸起的接触表面90,以与第一条带具有最小的接触。接触表面应该是最小的,以允许接触表面90在与保持构件5一起运动时以最小的摩擦在第一条带上滑动。
在图7中可以进一步观察到,角度A和在突出距离D1、D2上产生的偏转非常小。实际上,条带1,2的厚度仅为十分之几毫米,并且偏转非常小,例如,小于1毫米,已经足以确保第二条带2的前端23接触支撑表面,而第二条带2的其余部分保持离开所述支撑表面。因此,图1-4中的偏转仅被夸大以说明本发明的效果,而图7给出了实际偏转的更真实的印象。
图5和6示出了根据本发明第二实施例的替代连接装置103。替代的连接装置103与前面讨论的连接装置3的不同之处在于偏转构件107被主动控制。更具体地,替代的连接装置103包括可选的偏转致动器108,其可操作地连接到偏转构件107,用于主动驱动偏转构件107在图5的齐平位置和图6的偏转位置之间沿偏转方向F的运动。
图8-11示出了根据本发明第三实施例的另一替代连接装置203。另外的替代连接装置203与先前讨论的连接装置1、103的不同之处在于,它包括没有偏转构件的替代保持构件205。相反,允许第二条带2的前端23在突出方向E上自由地从替代保持构件205突出第一突出距离D1。替代保持构件205可定位在连接位置,如图8所示,其中保持平面R在第二条带位置P2上方延伸并且在相对于支撑平面S成倾斜连接角度A朝向连接线L倾斜或下降。在附图中略微夸大了连接角A,以清楚地说明本发明。在实践中,连接角度A优选地在2到6度的范围内,优选地在2到5度的范围内,最优选地在3到4度的范围内。替代保持构件205与连接线L间隔开,使得在连接方向J上第一条带1的后端13和第二条带2的前端23之间仍然存在间隙。替代保持构件205在放置方向K上与支撑表面40充分间隔开,使得第二条带2与所述支撑表面40间隔开和/或不与所述支撑表面40接触。
从前缘25到替代保持构件205测量的第一突出距离D1优选为至少2毫米,更优选为至少5毫米,最优选为至少10毫米。第二条带2的自由延伸部分可相对于第二条带2的其余部分变形,第二条带2以所述第一突出距离D1保持到替代保持构件205。
如图8所示,第二条带2的自由突出的前端23可以进一步由底部表面22处的凹入边缘26限定,该凹入边缘26替代在所述突出方向E上或平行于所述突出方向E从替代保持构件205突出第二突出距离D2。所述第二突出距离D2优选为至少1毫米,更优选为至少3毫米,最优选为至少7毫米。
图9示出了替代保持构件205沿放置方向K下降直到替代保持构件205的下部点以选定的最小高度H处与支撑表面40间隔开的情况。优选地,最小高度H等于或基本上等于条带1、2的高度。所述高度可以通过自动测量条带1、2中的一个的厚度或通过控制单元6中的手动输入来获得。在所述最小高度H处,第二条带2的自由突出的前端23朝向支撑表面40、在支撑表面40上和/或沿支撑表面40以连接角A倾斜突出。特别是,第二条带2与支撑表面40的接触导致所述前端23相对于支撑表面40偏转第一突出距离D1,使第一条带1和第二条带2的斜面端面14、24平行或基本平行。
换句话说,替代保持构件205被设置成用于将突出的前端23保持在倾斜的连接角A下,使得第二条带2的底表面22处的凹入边缘26以从替代保持构件205突出第二突出距离D2的方式接触支撑表面40。由于所述接触,第二条带2的自由突出的前端23在所述支撑表面40上变形和/或偏转,以与第一条带1对齐和/或朝向第一条带1的顶表面11。因此,第二条带2的前边缘25与第一条带1的顶表面11对齐,更靠近或齐平于第一条带1的顶表面11,独立于由替代保持构件205限定的最小高度H.因此,第二条带2的自由突出的前端23不再受替代保持构件205的最小高度H的任何公差T的影响。
第一突出距离D1和/或第二突出距离D2可以被预设或手动输入到控制单元6中,这样,可以考虑所述预设的第一突出距离D1和/或第二突出距离D2来配置替代保持构件205的运动。
图10示出了在连接方向J上提供支撑构件4和替代保持构件205之间的相对运动以使第二条带2的前端23与第一条带的后端13以倾斜连接角度A相接触的情况。在相对运动期间,替代保持构件205保持在如图8和9中的连接位置。控制单元6设置成使支撑构件4和替代保持构件205在连接方向J上相对于彼此运动,直到保持平面R中的替代保持构件205处于第一突出距离D1处或者距离第一条带1略小(例如,少几毫米)。在第二条带2的前端23处的条带主体20的粘性材料将在所述前缘25处在第一条带1的后端13处粘附到条带主体10的粘性材料上。
由于在第二条带2的前端23处自由突出的前端23的变形,如图9所示,第二条带2的斜面端面24压靠在图10中的第一条带1的斜面端面14上,斜面端面14、24基本平行。在第二条带2的前端23处的条带主体20的粘性材料将在所述前缘25处在第一条带1的后端13处粘附到条带主体10的粘性材料上。如图10中所示并且在图19中更详细地示出,与图18中所示的现有技术情况相比,第二条带2的前缘25更靠近第一条带1的顶表面11或与第一条带1的顶表面11齐平。条带1、2之间的任何剩余高度差现在更平滑和/或更不突然。特别地,与图18的现有技术“斜面拼接”不同,在第一条带1上方没有突出的尖锐前缘25。
图11示出了替代保持构件205已从连接位置运动到放置位置的情况,其中保持平面R平行于或基本平行于支撑平面S延伸。控制单元6设置成仅在第二条带2的前缘25运动到与图10中的第一条带1的后端13接触之后运动替代保持构件205。
或者,如图10所示,第二条带2可以简单地从连接位置的替代保持构件205释放,从而在重力的影响下将第二条带2从替代保持构件205落到支撑构件4的支撑表面40上。下落的优点在于,替代保持构件205可以在整个方法的步骤中保持在相同的连接位置。当到支撑表面40的距离相对较小时,例如,几毫米,下落不会对连接质量产生负面影响。
图12和13示出了在根据本发明第四实施例的替代方法的步骤中根据图8-11的另一替代连接装置203。
根据本发明第四实施例的方法与前面讨论的方法的不同之处仅在于支撑构件4和替代保持构件205之间的相对运动是通过沿着连接路径以相对于支撑平面S的倾斜连接角A朝向第一条带位置P1的相对运动M来移动替代保持构件205来实现的。因此,替代保持构件205同时在连接方向J上移动第一分量M1和在放置方向K上移动第二分量M2。如图13所示,替代保持构件205沿倾斜连接路径运动到与图10中相同的位置。随后可以以与图11中所示相同的方式完成连接方法。
图14-17再次示出了在根据本发明第五实施例的另一替代方法的步骤中根据图8-11的另一替代连接装置203。
根据本发明第五实施例的方法与前面讨论的方法的不同之处仅在于,另外的替代连接装置203用于连接、压制或拼接第一条带101和第二条带102,第二条带102具有在垂直于相应顶表面111、121和/或底表面112、122的方向上延伸的直端面114、124。因此,代替形成如图1-13中所谓的“斜面拼接”,根据本发明第三实施例的方法形成所谓的“对接拼接”。与前面讨论的实施例类似,根据本发明第五实施例的方法提供了替代保持构件205相对于支撑平面S的倾斜连接角度A和从替代保持构件205以突出距离D突出的前端123,该突出距离D足以允许第二条带102的前端123以与前一实施例基本相同的方式在支撑表面40上变形和/或偏转。特别地,直端面114、124设置成在连接线L处平行或基本平行。对于本领域技术人员显而易见的是,通过使用图1-7的连接装置3、103也可以获得相同的连接。
