Detailed Description
FIG. 1 is a top view of a concealable onboard radar mounting assembly 100 mounted to a vehicle in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of fig. 1 taken along section line a-a. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of fig. 1 taken along line B-B. FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of the structure of radar enclosure 20 of concealable vehicle radar mounting assembly 100 in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the concealed vehicle-mounted radar mounting assembly 100 of the present invention is disposed at a mounting opening 201 of a vehicle body 200, where the vehicle body 200 may be a roof, a front wall, a side wing, etc. of a vehicle where a radar is required to be mounted, where the radar may be a laser radar. As shown in fig. 2, vehicle-mounted radar mounting assembly 100 includes a fixing assembly 10, a radar enclosure 20, and a sealing assembly 30. The fixing assembly 10 is connected to the vehicle body 200 and configured as a recess. The radar wrapper 20 is disposed in the recess and is pivotably connected at the fixing assembly 10. The rotation of radar enclosure 20 may be achieved by a drive source, such as an electric motor, hydraulic assembly, etc., which may be connected to a control unit of the vehicle to provide automated control of the radar roll-over. The interior of the radar cover 20 is provided with an accommodation space for placing a radar, for example, a concave portion is formed to open toward the vehicle interior, and the concave portion is the accommodation space. A window 21 (see fig. 4) for exposing the radar is provided at a side wall of the radar housing 20 so that a signal of a transmitting end of the radar can be directly emitted through the window 21. The radar cover 20 is adapted to form a closed state (see fig. 2) in which the radar cover 20 is hidden in the recess and an open state (not shown) in which the window 21 of the radar cover 20 is completely exposed in the recess when rotated relative to the fixing assembly 10. The seal assembly 30 includes a flexible seal film 31, the seal film 31 being disposed around the radar enclosure 20 and having one side sealingly connected to the target vehicle body 200 directly or indirectly and the other side sealingly connected to the outside of the radar enclosure 20 to form a sealed water storage space between the target vehicle body and the radar enclosure 20, the target vehicle body being a portion of the vehicle body 200 on the peripheral side of the mounting opening 201. The sealing film 31 is also provided at the lowermost position of the radar enclosure 20 in the closed state to communicate with a drain pipe of the vehicle for draining the liquid in the stored water space. Since the sealing film 31 is fixed at one end to the radar cover shell 20 and the radar cover shell 20 is rotated relative to the fixing member 10, i.e., relative to the vehicle body 200, the sealing film 31 is rotated, so that the lowest portion of the sealing film 31 is in a closed state relative to the radar cover shell 20, and the liquid leaking into the water storage space is prevented from being accumulated as long as the lowest portion of the sealing film 31 in the closed state is connected to the drain pipe of the vehicle.
The embodiment provides a concealable radar mounting assembly, which can turn the radar enclosure 20 out of the vehicle with the radar when the radar is needed to be used so as to expose the transmitting end from the window 21 of the radar enclosure 20, and can restore the radar enclosure 20 to the position inside the vehicle when the radar is not needed to be used, thereby ensuring the aesthetic property of the appearance of the vehicle.
Further, the radar mounting assembly is also provided with a sealing component 30 which follows the radar enclosure 20, so that the reversible radar enclosure 20 can be adapted to realize a real-time waterproof sealing effect. In addition, since the sealing film 31 of the sealing assembly 30 is communicated with the drain pipe of the vehicle at the lowest position of the sealing film 31 when the radar housing 20 is in the closed state, accumulated water can be discharged in the closed state, and the sealing film 31 is prevented from being soaked in water for a long time.

Due to the arrangement of the sealing strips 32, when the radar cladding 20 is in a closed state, a gap between the radar cladding 20 and a target vehicle body is sealed, a waterproof effect is achieved when a radar is not used, and rainwater or other liquid is prevented from entering the assembly.
As shown in fig. 2, in the present embodiment, the seal assembly 30 further includes a seal holder 33 having one side connected to the target vehicle body and the other side for fixing the seal film 31. Alternatively, the seal holder 33 is bonded to the bottom of the subject vehicle body by a double-sided tape 40.
The sealing bracket 33 is arranged to realize the installation of the sealing strip 32, and a special installation part is not required to be processed on the vehicle body 200 to install the sealing strip 32, and the double-sided adhesive bonding mode has a certain waterproof effect on one hand and simplifies the installation process on the other hand.
As shown in fig. 4, the radar cladding 20 is provided at its outer wall with an annular flange 22 projecting away from itself, and both ends of the sealing film 31 are connected to the sealing bracket 33 and the annular flange 22, respectively (see fig. 2 or fig. 3).
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the outer wall of one side of radome 20 where window 21 is provided has a greater height than the height of the opposite side thereof, and annular flange 22 is provided at the bottom of the outer wall of radome 20. As shown in fig. 4, the bottom of radar wrapper 20 is formed as a slope. With this arrangement, on the one hand, considering that the radar cover 20 itself is a pivotally connected side and a flip-out side (i.e., a side on which the window 21 is provided), it is necessary to provide the sealing film 31 with a large displacement amount for its following-up because the movement displacement of the flip-out side is large, and in addition, providing an outer wall with a small height on the pivotally connected side can save space, and other components such as a driving motor for driving the radar cover 20 to rotate can be provided between the lower portion thereof and the fixed member 10.
As shown in fig. 4, the radar wrapper 20 is formed with a drainage pipe 23 in which the water storage space and the drainage pipe are communicated, and the sealing film 31 is provided with a passage for penetrating the drainage pipe 23. The two ends of the drain tube 23 may communicate with the two drain pipes through two flexible pipes to accommodate the change in position of the drain tube 23 as the radome 20 rotates.
In another embodiment, as shown in fig. 5, the fixing assembly 10 includes a fixing base plate 11 and a plurality of connecting brackets 12. Both ends of each attaching bracket 12 are attached to the periphery of the target vehicle body and the stationary base plate 11, respectively. The connecting bracket 12 and the target vehicle body can be welded, bonded or connected by a fastener, and the connecting bracket 12 and the fixed bottom plate 11 are detachably connected.
Fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of the fixed base plate 11 of the concealable vehicle-mounted radar mounting assembly 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, in the present embodiment, the fixed base 11 includes a flat plate portion 111 and a plurality of connecting legs 112 located at the periphery of the flat plate portion 111. Each of the attaching legs 112 projects toward the target vehicle body and is connected to the attaching bracket 12. As shown in fig. 2, the connection legs 112 and the connection brackets 12 are partially overlapped and connected by bolts, and after the connection brackets 12 are fixed on the target vehicle body, the fixing bottom plate 11 and the connection brackets 12 can be connected by fasteners, so that the assembly is convenient.
The invention also provides a vehicle comprising the concealable onboard radar mounting assembly 100 in any one or combination of the above embodiments.
This vehicle has installed the radar installation assembly that can hide, can take radar incrustation 20 to turn out the car with the radar when needs use the radar to from radar incrustation 20's window 21 department expose the transmitting terminal, with radar incrustation 20 resume the inside position of vehicle when need not use the radar, guarantee the aesthetic property of vehicle outward appearance.
Thus, it should be appreciated by those skilled in the art that while a number of exemplary embodiments of the invention have been illustrated and described in detail herein, many other variations or modifications consistent with the principles of the invention may be directly determined or derived from the disclosure of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the scope of the invention should be understood and interpreted to cover all such other variations or modifications.
