背景技术
等速万向节(constant velocity joint)是指:在输入轴和输出轴以任意角度(工作角)旋转时,无旋转变动地顺利传导动力的接头。等速万向节被广泛用于汽车、各种产业机械中。在汽车中,等速万向节主要用于连接变速箱和轮胎的传动轴。
出于降低摩擦系数等的目的而向等速万向节中封入润滑剂、优选封入润滑脂。近年来,为了实现等速万向节的性能提高,使用含有各种添加剂的脲系润滑脂、脲-氨基甲酸酯系润滑脂。并且,还存在添加有硼酸碱金属盐水合物、钼化合物和硫-磷系极压剂作为添加剂且磨耗少的等速万向节用润滑脂(专利文献1)。

发明要解决的问题
本发明人等发现:添加硼酸碱金属盐水合物、钼化合物和硫-磷系极压剂作为添加剂的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物有时发生润滑不良。这是等速万向节的输入轴与输出轴达到高角度(高表面压力)的情况。润滑不良有可能导致机器的工作不良和故障。
用于解决问题的方案
本发明人等针对等速万向节的输入轴与输出轴达到高角度(高表面压力)时,添加硼酸碱金属盐水合物、钼化合物和硫-磷系极压剂作为添加剂的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物不发生润滑不良的方法进行了深入研究。并且,本发明人等发现:通过将前述三种成分的含量和比率设为特定范围内,能够解决前述课题,由此完成了发明。
本发明人等发现:仅在特定含量的范围内配混二硫代氨基甲酸钼、硼酸钾水合物和二烷基二硫代磷酸锌是不充分的,如果前述三种成分不在特定的比率范围内,则高表面压力下的润滑性恶化。即,本发明人等发现:通过将前述三种成分设为特定的比率范围内,能够改善高表面压力下的润滑性。

发明的效果
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物能够改善等速万向节达到高角度(高表面压力)时的润滑性。
具体实施方式
[1.润滑脂组合物]
〔润滑油基础油〕
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中,作为润滑油基础油而使用矿物油。矿物油的40℃下的运动粘度优选为1~500mm2/s,更优选为100~200mm2/s。需要说明的是,本说明书中的运动粘度按照JIS K 2283:2000进行测定。
作为矿物油,可以使用将原油常压蒸馏而得的矿物油。也可以使用对将原油常压蒸馏而得的矿物油进一步减压蒸馏而得到馏出油,并通过各种精制工艺对这些馏出油进行精制而得的润滑油馏分。作为精制工艺,可列举出氢化精制、溶剂萃取、溶剂脱蜡、氢化脱蜡、硫酸清洗、白土处理等。通过将它们以适当的顺序进行组合处理,能够得到本发明中使用的矿物油。也可以使用通过以不同工艺的组合和顺序对不同原油或馏出油进行处理而得到的性状不同的多种精制油的混合物。
上述例示的矿物油可以作为润滑油基础油而单独使用,或者混合使用2种以上。
该矿物油的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选为50质量%以上且90质量%以下,特别优选为60质量%以上且90质量%以下。通过将润滑油基础油的含量设为50质量%以上且90质量%以下的范围,能够简便地制备具有期望稠度的润滑脂组合物。
〔增稠剂〕
作为本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中使用的增稠剂,只要是通常的润滑脂组合物中使用的增稠剂,即可无特别问题地使用。其中,优选使用金属皂系增稠剂、脲系增稠剂。增稠剂可以是一种,也可以混合多种来使用。该增稠剂的含量只要能够获得期望的稠度即可,例如,以润滑脂组合物的总量基准计,优选为2质量%以上且30质量%以下,进一步优选为4质量%以上且15质量%以下。
其中,金属皂系增稠剂是包含羧酸金属盐的增稠剂。羧酸可以是具有羟基等的羧酸衍生物。
羧酸可以使用硬脂酸、壬二酸等脂肪族羧酸;对苯二甲酸等芳香族羧酸等。尤其是,优选为碳原子数12~20的一元脂肪族羧酸或碳原子数6~14的二元脂肪族羧酸,更优选为包含1个羟基的一元脂肪族羧酸。
需要说明的是,本说明书中记作“碳原子数12~20”时,视作在范围内包含两个端值、即12和20。
作为金属,可以是锂、钠等碱金属、钙等碱土金属、铝之类的两性金属,优选为碱金属,特别优选为锂。
该增稠剂可以以金属皂的形式进行配混。也可以分别配混羧酸和金属源(金属盐、金属盐氢氧化物等),并在制备润滑脂组合物时使其反应而制成金属皂增稠剂。
另一方面,作为脲系增稠剂,可以使用例如通过二异氰酸酯与单胺的反应而得到的二脲化合物、通过二异氰酸酯与单胺或二胺的反应而得到的聚脲化合物、通过二异氰酸酯与伯胺与通式R1-OH所示的高级醇的反应而得到的脲-氨基甲酸酯化合物、或者通过二异氰酸酯与高级醇的反应而得到的二氨基甲酸酯化合物等。
此外,单胺是指1分子中具有1个氨基的化合物。作为伯胺,优选为辛胺、十二烷胺、十六烷胺、硬脂胺、油胺、苯胺、对甲苯胺、环己胺等。作为仲胺,优选为二环己胺等。
二胺是指1分子中具有2个氨基的化合物。作为二胺,优选为乙二胺、丙二胺、丁二胺、己二胺、辛二胺、苯二胺、甲苯二胺、二甲苯二胺、二氨基二苯基甲烷等。单胺和二胺的烃基可以是非环状烃,也可以是环状烃,可列举出芳香族烃、脂环族烃、脂肪族烃等。其碳原子数优选为2~20,特别优选为4~18。
二异氰酸酯是指烃的2个氢被异氰酸酯基取代的化合物,优选为苯二异氰酸酯、甲苯二异氰酸酯、二苯基二异氰酸酯、二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯、十八烷二异氰酸酯、癸烷二异氰酸酯、己烷二异氰酸酯等。烃可以是非环状烃,也可以是环状烃,可列举出芳香族烃、脂环族烃、脂肪族烃等。其碳原子数优选为4~20,特别优选为8~18。
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中,具体而言,可以使用以下的通式(1)~(3)的脲系增稠剂。

上述式(1)~(3)中,R1、R4和R7可以相同也可以不同,分别表示碳原子数6~15的2价芳香族系烃基。
上述式(1)~(3)中,R2、R3和R5可以相同也可以不同,分别表示环己基或碳原子数7~12的环己基衍生物基团。作为R2、R3和R5,具体而言,可列举出例如环己基、甲基环己基、二甲基环己基、乙基环己基、二乙基环己基、丙基环己基、异丙基环己基、1-甲基-3-丙基环己基、丁基环己基、戊基环己基、戊基甲基环己基、己基环己基等,特别优选的是环己基或碳原子数7~8的环己基衍生物基,例如甲基环己基、二甲基环己基、乙基环己基。
另一方面,上述式(2)~(3)中,R6、R8和R9可以相同也可以不同,分别表示碳原子数8~20的烷基或烯基。作为R6、R8和R9,具体而言,可列举出例如辛基、壬基、癸基、十一烷基、十二烷基、十三烷基、十四烷基、十五烷基、十六烷基、十七烷基、十八烷基、十九烷基、二十烷基、辛烯基、壬烯基、癸烯基、十一碳烯基、十二碳烯基、十三碳烯基、十四碳烯基、十五碳烯基、十六碳烯基、十七碳烯基、十八碳烯基、十九碳烯基、二十碳烯基等所示的具有直链结构或支链结构的基团,特别优选的是碳原子数16~19的烷基或烯基,例如十六烷基、十七烷基、十八烷基、十九烷基、十六碳烯基、十七碳烯基、十八碳烯基、十九碳烯基。
〔硼酸钾水合物〕
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中使用的硼酸钾水合物是钾与硼的含水复合氧化物。其通式用K2O·xB2O3·yH2O(其中,x=0.5~5.0、y=1.0~5.0)表示。该硼酸钾水合物的平均粒度优选为1μm以下、平均粒度更优选为0.5μm以下。
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中的硼酸钾水合物的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计,为0.28质量%以上且1.9质量%以下。本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中的硼酸钾水合物的含量优选为0.4质量%以上且1.6质量%以下,更优选为0.6质量%以上且1.4质量%以下,进一步优选为0.8质量%以上且1.2质量%以下。
〔二硫代氨基甲酸钼〕
本说明书中,“二硫代氨基甲酸钼”为下述式(4)所示的化合物。

(式中,R10~13可以相同也可以不同,分别为碳原子数1~24的烃基。X1~X4可以相同也可以不同,分别为S或O)
本说明书中,有时将二硫代氨基甲酸钼简称为MoDTC。MoDTC中的钼元素含量以MoDTC基准计优选为10~40质量%、更优选为20~35质量%。
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中的MoDTC的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计为1.2质量%以上且8质量%以下。本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中的MoDTC的含量优选为2质量%以上且7质量%以下,更优选为3质量%以上且6质量%以下,进一步优选为4质量%以上且5.5质量%以下。
若MoDTC的含量为下限值以上,则摩擦系数被抑制得较低。
即便含量为上限值以上,效果也不变。
〔二烷基二硫代磷酸锌〕
作为本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中使用的二烷基二硫代磷酸锌,可列举出下述通式(5)所示的化合物。

(式(5)中,R14~R17分别单独地表示碳原子数1~24的烃基。作为这些碳原子数1~24的烃基,优选为碳原子数1~24的直链状或支链状的烷基。优选为碳原子数3以上,且优选为碳原子数12以下,进一步优选为8以下。此外,作为烷基,可以为伯烷基,也可以为仲烷基,还可以为叔烷基,优选为伯烷基或仲烷基、或者伯烷基与仲烷基的混合物,最优选为仲烷基。)
本说明书中,有时将二烷基二硫代磷酸锌简称为ZnDTP。
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中的ZnDTP的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计为0.3质量%以上且2.0质量%以下。本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中的ZnDTP的含量优选为0.4质量%以上且1.8质量%以下,更优选为0.6质量%以上且1.6质量%以下,进一步优选为0.8质量%以上且1.4质量%以下。
〔硼酸钾水合物与MoDTC的质量比〕
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中,二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比(二硫代氨基甲酸钼/硼酸钾水合物)为2以上且13以下。通过设为该范围内,能够获得高表面压力时的等速万向节的良好润滑性。二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比优选为2以上且8以下,更优选为2.5以上且7以下,进一步优选为3以上且6以下,最优选为4以上且5以下。
〔硼酸钾水合物与ZnDTP的质量比〕
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中,二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比(二烷基二硫代磷酸锌/硼酸钾水合物)为0.5以上且3.6以下。通过设为该范围,能够获得高表面压力时的等速万向节的良好润滑性。二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比优选为0.7以上且3.2以下,更优选为0.7以上且2.5以下,进一步优选为0.8以上且1.8以下。
(MoDTC与ZnDTP的质量比)
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中,二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量相对于二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量的质量比(二硫代氨基甲酸钼/二烷基二硫代磷酸锌)优选为3以上且10以下。通过设为3以上,能够获得高表面压力时的等速万向节的良好润滑性。二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量相对于二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量的质量比优选为3.2以上且8以下,更优选为3.5以上且6以下,进一步优选为3.8以上且4.6以下。
〔其它添加剂〕
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物中,除了上述成分之外,可根据需要适当添加通常在润滑油、润滑脂中使用的抗氧化剂、防锈剂、清净剂、分散剂、抗磨耗剂、极压剂、粘度指数改进剂、防腐剂等。
实施例
以下使用实施例来说明本发明。本发明不限定于以下的实施方式。需要说明的是,只要没有特别说明,则%表示质量%。
<润滑脂组合物的配比>
针对各实施例和各比较例,按照表1~4所示的配混比例,配混增稠剂、基础油和添加剂,制备试验用润滑脂组合物。对于这些试验用润滑脂组合物,进行以下所示的评价。
(1)基础油
使用40℃运动粘度为175mm2/s的矿物油。
(2)增稠剂(原料)
·二苯基甲烷-4,4’-二异氰酸酯
·脂环式胺(环己胺)
·高级醇(硬脂醇)
按照表1~4所示的比率,使脂环式胺、高级醇与二异氰酸酯化合物(亚甲基二异氰酸酯)发生反应而制备脲-氨基甲酸酯系化合物。
(3)添加剂
如表1~4中记载的那样,加入添加剂。添加剂的详情如下所示。表5和表6示出各实施例和各比较例中的各成分的质量比与评价结果的关系。
·聚硫醚日本Lubrizol公司制(制品名:Anglamol 33)
·磺酸钙LANXESS公司制(制品名:HYBASE C500)
·硼酸钾水合物Chevron Japan Oronite公司制(制品名:OLOA 9750)
·ZnDTP Afton Chemical Corporation制(制品名:HiTEC-1656)
·MoDTC ADEKA公司制(制品名:ADEKA SAKURA-LUBE 600)

<评价>
按照ASTM D5707,在6Hz、±1mm、40℃、球(直径为10mm)/板的条件下测定摩擦系数。将负荷设为50N,进行10分钟的试运转,其后,以100N施加10分钟的负载,并以200N施加10分钟的负载。最终使负载增加至1000N,对有无润滑不良进行试验。将评价结果示于表1~4。
评价结果中的“-”表示未发生润滑不良。评价结果中的数值表示摩擦系数超过0.15时的最大接触表面压力。包含实施例1~10的润滑脂组合物的等速万向节在高表面压力的状态下也未发生润滑不良。另一方面,包含比较例1~3的润滑脂组合物的等速万向节在最大接触表面压力达到3.9GPa~4.6GPa的情况下发生了润滑不良。
产业上的可利用性
本发明的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物能够改善等速万向节达到高角度(高表面压力)时的润滑性。

Claims (4)

1.一种等速万向节用润滑脂组合物,其包含矿物油、增稠剂、二硫代氨基甲酸钼、硼酸钾水合物和二烷基二硫代磷酸锌,
二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计为1.2质量%以上且8质量%以下,
二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计为0.3质量%以上且2.0质量%以下,
硼酸钾水合物的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计为0.28质量%以上且1.9质量%以下,
二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比、即二硫代氨基甲酸钼/硼酸钾水合物为2以上且13以下,并且
二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比、即二烷基二硫代磷酸锌/硼酸钾水合物为0.5以上且3.6以下。
2.根据权利要求1所述的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物,其中,二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量相对于二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量的质量比、即二硫代氨基甲酸钼/二烷基二硫代磷酸锌为3以上。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物,其中,二硫代氨基甲酸钼的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比、即二硫代氨基甲酸钼/硼酸钾水合物为2以上且8以下,并且
二烷基二硫代磷酸锌的含量相对于硼酸钾水合物的含量的质量比、即二烷基二硫代磷酸锌/硼酸钾水合物为0.7以上且3.6以下。
4.根据权利要求1~3中任一项所述的等速万向节用润滑脂组合物,其中,矿物油的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计为50质量%以上且90质量%以下,
增稠剂的含量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计为2质量%以上且30质量%以下。
