The invention discloses a Ku/Ka dual-frequency dual-polarization phased-array antenna radiation array, which comprises a plurality of basic units and a plurality of Ka antenna units, wherein each basic unit is internally provided with a Ku antenna unit; the Ku antenna unit is a dual-linear polarization antenna and is arranged in a periodic array mode; the Ka antenna units are single-wire polarized antennas and are arranged in a sparse array mode; the Ka antenna unit is arranged at the junction of the adjacent basic units, and/or the Ka antenna unit is arranged at the outer edge of the antenna radiation array. According to the invention, the radiation array of the phased array antenna is a composite of a Ku periodic array and a Ka sparse array, the radiativity of the Ku frequency band and the radiation of the Ka frequency band cannot influence each other, and meanwhile, the side lobe characteristic of the Ka antenna unit after the Ka antenna unit is sparse is good.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of phased array antennas, in particular to a Ku/Ka dual-frequency dual-polarization phased array antenna radiation array.
Background
The millimeter wave phased array antenna has the characteristics of narrow wave beam, high gain, fast wave beam scanning and the like, so that the millimeter wave phased array antenna is more and more widely applied to the field of millimeter wave radars, but with the development of radar technology, particularly increasingly prominent requirements on functions of radar anti-interference and the like, new requirements are provided for the antenna technology, and a dual-frequency composite technology and a dual-polarization technology are generated.
Two frequency bands Ku and Ka are frequency bands used more in millimeter wave application, and the common caliber coincidence design of the two frequency bands is also a technology which is proposed in recent years, but the realization of a dual-polarization function on a Ku frequency band antenna is not reported, mainly because:
(1) the frequency of Ka is about twice of the frequency of Ku, according to the antenna scanning principle, if the array antennas of the two frequency bands are combined, four Ka antenna array units need to be arranged in the space range used by one Ku antenna array unit, and the Ku antenna needs to realize the dual-polarization function, so that the feed structure is complex, the occupied space size is larger, and the arrangement cannot be realized at all;
(2) the Ku dual-polarized antenna occupies a larger space, and the arrangement complexity of the Ka antenna array units is increased;
(3) the wider the bandwidth of the antenna unit, the higher the working frequency, and the larger the area of the antenna unit; if a wider bandwidth and a higher operating frequency are to be realized, the structures of the Ku antenna array unit and the Ka antenna array unit will inevitably affect each other, and how to reduce the influence is also a technical difficulty to be overcome.

The invention aims to overcome one or more defects in the prior art and provides a Ku/Ka dual-frequency dual-polarization phased array antenna radiation array.
The purpose of the invention is realized by the following technical scheme: the Ku/Ka dual-frequency dual-polarization phased-array antenna radiation array comprises a plurality of basic units and a plurality of Ka antenna units, wherein a Ku antenna unit is arranged in each basic unit;
the Ku antenna unit is a dual-linear polarization antenna and is arranged in a periodic array mode;
the Ka antenna units are single-wire polarized antennas and are arranged in a sparse array mode;
the Ka antenna unit is arranged at the junction of the adjacent basic units, and/or the Ka antenna unit is arranged at the outer edge of the antenna radiation array.
Preferably, the number ratio of the Ku antenna elements to the Ka antenna elements is 1: 1.5-2.
Preferably, the number ratio of the Ku antenna elements to the Ka antenna elements is 1: 1.8.
Preferably, the Ku antenna element is a slot coupling feed antenna; and/or the Ka antenna unit is a slot coupling feed antenna.
Preferably, the Ku antenna element and the Ka antenna element are coplanar.
Preferably, the operating frequency of the Ku antenna element is greater than 4GHz, and/or the operating frequency of the Ka antenna element is greater than 4 GHz.
Preferably, the operating frequency relative bandwidth of the Ku antenna element is greater than 25%.
The invention has the beneficial effects that:
(1) according to the invention, the radiation array of the phased array antenna is a composite of a Ku periodic array and a Ka sparse array, the radiativity of the Ku frequency band and the radiation of the Ka frequency band cannot influence each other, and meanwhile, the side lobe characteristic is good after the Ka antenna unit is sparse;
(2) the Ku antenna unit is a dual-polarized antenna and can provide rich polarization information for the system;
(3) the working frequencies of the Ku antenna unit and the Ka antenna unit are both larger than 4GHz, and the Ku antenna unit and the Ka antenna unit have good broadband characteristics;
(4) the Ku antenna unit is a slot coupling feed antenna, so that the antenna bandwidth can be expanded;
(5) the Ka antenna unit is a slot coupling feed antenna, the coupling slot of the Ka antenna unit is equivalent to a filter, and most of energy coupled from a Ku channel can be filtered, so that the isolation between the Ku antenna unit and the Ka antenna unit is improved;
(6) the Ku antenna unit and the Ka antenna unit are coplanar, and are convenient to produce and install.

Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the present embodiment provides a Ku/Ka dual-frequency dual-polarized phased array antenna radiation array:
as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, the Ku/Ka dual-frequency dual-polarized phased array antenna radiation array includes a plurality of basic units, a plurality of Ku antenna units 1, and a plurality of Ka antenna units 2, and one Ku antenna unit 1 is disposed in each basic unit.
The Ku antenna unit 1 is a dual-linear polarization antenna and is arranged in a periodic array (namely a regular array and a uniform array); the Ka antenna unit 2 is a single-wire polarized antenna and is arranged in a sparse array mode. The Ka antenna units 2 are arranged in a sparse array, and the side lobe characteristic of the antenna is improved.
The Ka antenna unit is arranged at the junction of the adjacent basic units, and/or the Ka antenna unit is arranged at the outer edge of the antenna radiation array.
In this embodiment, the Ku antenna unit 1 is a periodic array, the Ka antenna unit 2 is a sparse array, and the Ku antenna unit 1 is disposed at the junction of the basic units or at the outer edge of the antenna radiation array, so that the radiativity of the Ku and Ka frequency bands cannot be affected by each other, and the common-caliber combination of the dual-polarized Ku antenna unit 1 and the Ka antenna unit 2 is realized.
In some embodiments, the number ratio of the Ku antenna elements 1 to the Ka antenna elements 2 is 1: 1.5-2, for example, the number ratio of the Ku antenna elements 1 to the Ka antenna elements 2 is 1: 1.8. On the premise of ensuring the performance of the antenna radiation array, the number of Ka antenna units 2 is reduced, and the cost is reduced.
In some embodiments, the Ku antenna element 1 is a slot-coupled feed antenna; and/or the Ka antenna unit 2 is a slot coupling feed antenna. The Ku antenna unit 1 is a slot coupling feed antenna, and can expand the bandwidth of the antenna; the Ka antenna unit 2 is a slot coupling feed antenna, the coupling slot of the Ka antenna unit is equivalent to a filter, and most of energy coupled from a Ku channel can be filtered, so that the isolation between the Ku antenna unit 1 and the Ka antenna unit 2 is improved, and the mutual influence between the Ku antenna unit 1 and the Ka antenna unit 2 is avoided.
In some embodiments, the Ku and Ka antenna elements are coplanar, facilitating the manufacture and installation of the antenna.
In some embodiments, the operating frequency of the Ku antenna element is greater than 4GHz, and/or the operating frequency of the Ka antenna element is greater than 4GHz, with good broadband characteristics.
In some embodiments, the operating frequency of the Ku antenna element is greater than 25% of the relative bandwidth, and the bandwidth is wider.

Fig. 4 is a Ku horizontal polarization directional diagram, a horizontal axis represents a turntable angle when the directional diagram is tested, a vertical axis represents an amplitude value of the directional diagram, and curves in fig. 4 are an antenna normal directional diagram, a directional diagram of antenna scanning ± 30 °, and a directional diagram of antenna scanning ± 50 °, respectively. Fig. 5 is a Ka directional diagram, a horizontal axis represents a turntable angle when the directional diagram is tested, a vertical axis represents an amplitude value of the directional diagram, and curves in fig. 5 are an antenna normal directional diagram, a directional diagram scanned by the antenna by ± 20 °, and a directional diagram scanned by the antenna by ± 40 °, respectively. As can be seen from fig. 3-5, in this embodiment, both the two polarizations of Ku and Ka can obtain good directional diagram performance, such as low side lobe, small gain drop of the antenna in the scanning range, and the like.
