As shown in fig. 1, the display panel 10 is a schematic view of a display panel 10, the display panel 10 includes a first substrate 100 and a second substrate 200 arranged in a box, the first substrate 100 is divided into a display region 11 and a non-display region 12, a sealant 300 is arranged between the first substrate 100 and the second substrate 200, and the sealant 300 is arranged in the non-display region 12.
As shown in fig. 2 and fig. 3, the array substrate 101 is a schematic diagram of a first substrate 100, and the array substrate 101 includes a substrate 170, a first metal layer 110, a first insulating layer 150, a second metal layer 120, a second insulating layer 160, and a conductive layer 140, which are sequentially stacked corresponding to the non-display region 12; specifically, the first metal routing group 111 and the second metal routing group 121 are respectively conducted through the bridging structure 130 and the conductive layer 140, the first substrate 100 includes a first metal layer 110 and a second metal layer 120 disposed corresponding to the non-display region 12, and the first metal layer 110 and the second metal layer 120 are insulated from each other; the first metal layer 110 is formed with a first metal routing group 111, and the second metal layer 120 is formed with a second metal routing group 121; the first metal wiring group 111 and the second metal wiring group 121 are in one-to-one corresponding conductive connection through a group of bridging structures 130; wherein the first metal layer 110 and the second metal layer 120 in the present application belong to the same layer as the first metal layer 110 and the second metal layer 120 in the display area 11 of the display panel 10; in the present application, the first substrate 100 is an array substrate 101, and the second substrate 200 is a color filter substrate 201.
As shown in fig. 4, a schematic diagram of positions of the bridging structure 130 and the sealant 300 is shown, where a side of the sealant close to the display region is a sealant inner side 302, and a side of the sealant far from the display region is a sealant outer side 301; all the bridging structures 130 are arranged in the direction in which the edge of the outer side of the frame glue faces the display area; the first metal routing group 111 includes a plurality of sub-routing lines 112 arranged in parallel, and the sub-routing lines 112 include a main section 112 and an inner concave section 113 which are communicated with each other; the bridging structure is arranged on the concave section; the distance between the concave section and the edge of the first substrate is larger than the distance between the main section and the edge of the first substrate.
According to the display panel, the area of part of sub-wiring 112a of the first metal wiring group 111 is sunken towards the inside of the display area, namely, the sub-wiring corresponding to the inner concave section 113 moves towards the area closer to the display area, correspondingly, the bridging structure connecting the first metal wiring group and the second metal wiring group is arranged at the position of the inner concave section 113, namely, the position of the bridging structure is far away from the edge of the outer side of the frame glue of the display panel, and correspondingly, the sub-wiring of the inner concave section 113 is arranged at the position closer to the display area, the wiring area of the sub-wiring of the trunk section 112 can be arranged closer to the edge of the display panel, so that more display areas or the area of the outer edge of the frame glue towards the display area are not occupied, and the frame of the display panel is further made narrower.
Specifically, only the main section 112 of the partial sub-traces needs to be disposed outside the sealant, and the inner concave section 113 of the sub-traces is disposed at the edge outside the sealant and faces the direction of the display region. The display panel with the narrow frame can be suitable for the display panel with the narrow frame, part of sub-wires of the main section 112 are arranged outside the frame glue 300, due to the fact that the passivation layer protects the second metal layer, the part of sub-wires are located outside the frame glue and towards the direction of the edge of the display panel, the sub-wires 111a of the inner concave section 112 are not corroded by water vapor and the like, all the bridging structures are arranged outside the frame glue and towards the direction of the display area, and the bridging structures can be well protected from being corroded through the frame glue. The bridging structure is also easily corroded when being too close to the outer side of the frame glue, and the corrosion degree of the bridging structure is respectively tested in the following two cases:
as shown in fig. 5, it is a schematic diagram of the erosion degree of the sealant with different distances performed under the condition that the width of the sealant 300 is 1000um, where w in the diagram is the length of the outermost bridging structure 131 from the edge of the sealant outside 301, the abscissa in the diagram is the reliability time (unit is hour), and the ordinate in the diagram is the resistance value of the outermost bridging structure 131, since the phenomenon after the bridging structure 130 is eroded is that the resistance value becomes large, the ordinate in the diagram is the resistance value of the outermost bridging structure 131 to represent the erosion degree, in combination with the following table one, table one corresponds to the value of each point of the curve in fig. 1, and represents the specific value of the abscissa, and the experimental conditions in fig. 1 and table one are: under a reliant environment of 85 degrees celsius and 85% humidity. Table one is as follows: it should be noted that other variables, such as the aperture size, are controlled as default apertures in this application, so that the distance W in this experiment is a single variable.
Watch 1
From the experimental data, the larger the value of w is, that is, the farther the outermost bridging structure 131 is from the edge of the outer side 301 of the sealant, that is, the closer the outermost bridging structure 131 is to the display area 11, the corrosion resistance is significantly improved, as can be seen from fig. 9 and table one, in the present application, by moving the bridging structure 130 of the non-display area 12 into the sealant 300 and at least 50um away from the edge of the outer side 301 of the sealant, the moisture is prevented from corroding from the edge of the sealant 300 to the bridging structure 130, which not only can save the manufacturing process of the protective layer, but also can protect the bridging structure 130 from being corroded by the external moisture; however, since the wiring space of the display panel 10 is limited, the value of w cannot be infinite, and generally, in the range of the width of the sealant 300 from 500um to 1500um, when the value of w is less than 300um, the internal wiring space can be satisfied, so that the wiring space of the display region 11 and the region of the edge of the inner side 302 of the sealant facing the display region 11 is not compressed.
For a narrow-frame display panel 10 with a narrower width of the sealant 300, for example, the width of the sealant 300 is 200um to 500um, as shown in fig. 4, an illustration of an inner recessed sub-trace is shown, two adjacent edges of the first substrate respectively extend along a first direction and a second direction, the first direction and the second direction are perpendicular to each other, which corresponds to fig. 3, that is, the direction of two transversely disposed edges of the first substrate is the first direction, and the direction of two vertically disposed edges is the second direction, wherein the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction; the sub-wiring of the concave section comprises a second branch line parallel to the first direction, a first branch line and a third branch line parallel to the second direction, and the first branch line, the second branch line and the third branch line are sequentially communicated. The second branch line is integrally moved towards the display area, and the corresponding bridging structure is arranged on the second branch line. As shown in the following table two, under the condition that the width of the frame glue is 200um, the sub-traces of the rectangular inner concave section are shown, under the conditions of 60 ℃ and 90% humidity, the corrosion degree of the outermost side bridging structure is shown, different distances between the outermost side bridging structure and the outer side of the frame glue are longitudinally shown in the table, the change along with time is shown in the transverse table, and the resistance condition of the bridging structure area is recorded for 0-1000 h.
Watch two
As can be seen from table two, when the width of the sealant is narrow, that is, when the sealant is applied to a display panel with a narrow frame, the distance between the outermost bridging structures is 200um, so that the sealant is not corroded in a high humidity environment for a long time. Experiments prove that the abnormal package failure of the via hole resistor is tested in 240h reliability of the non-concave product, the package failure time of the concave product is prolonged, even 1000h of the non-concave product is not failed, and the specific distance range is 200-400 mu m.
FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram of sub-traces of a concave section 113 of an arc, the sub-traces of the concave section being arcs; and transferring the bridging structure to a position closer to the display area by using the sub-routing of the arc segment, and only improving the pattern of the first metal layer. Moreover, the arc is relatively concave in the direction from the edge of the display panel to the display area, and occupies a smaller space in comparison with the scheme of fig. 3. The third table below shows the corrosion degree of the outermost bridging structure under the condition that the concave sub-wiring is an arc line and the width of the sealant is 200um and under the conditions of 60 ℃ and 90% humidity, the longitudinal table in the table shows different distances between the outermost bridging structure and the outer side of the sealant, the transverse table shows the change with time, and the resistance condition of the bridging structure area of 0-1000h is recorded.
Watch III
Specifically, one sub-line close to the edge of the display panel is a first sub-line, the outermost bridge structure is arranged at a position closest to the display area in the inner concave section of the first sub-line, other bridge structures are sequentially arranged towards the display area, the arc vertex of the inner concave section of the first sub-line is connected with the bridge structures, the first sub-line does not need to be moved inwards integrally, and other bridge structures are sequentially arranged towards the display area.
Fig. 7 shows a schematic diagram of another sub-trace of the inner concave section 113, and as shown in fig. 7, the inner concave section sub-trace is respectively communicated with a first fold line 113d and a second fold line 113f, an obtuse angle or an acute angle is formed between the first fold line and the second fold line, and the corresponding bridging structure is disposed on the first fold line or the second fold line.
Specifically, the trunk section of the sub-trace includes a first trunk trace 112a disposed in the first direction 21 and a second trunk trace 112b disposed in the second direction 22; the inner concave section 113 is disposed on the first main trace 112a, and the sub-traces of the inner concave section 113 are connected to the second main trace 112b through the first main trace 112 a. A certain distance is also arranged between the sub-trace of the concave section and the second main trace 112b, and the sub-trace and the second main trace are connected through the first main trace 112a, because the first main trace 112a and the second main trace 112b are corners; the frame glue also needs a corner at this position, but the corner degree of the first main wiring 112a and the second main wiring 112b can reach 90 degrees, and the frame glue needs a large-angle arc segment to pass through the corner, therefore, part of the first main wiring 112a and the second main wiring 112b may only go to the outer side of the frame glue and be arranged towards the edge direction of the display panel, and part of the first main wiring which is not located under the frame glue cannot be provided with a bridging structure, and even if the sub-wirings at this position are designed to be concave, the length of the concave part is too long, and the wiring space on the region facing the display area at the inner side of the frame glue may be occupied.
As shown in fig. 2 and 8, each of the bridging structures 130 includes a deep hole 132, a shallow hole 133 and a conductive layer 140, the conductive layer 140 covers the deep hole 132 and the shallow hole 133, the conductive layer 140 is connected to the first metal layer 110 through the deep hole 132, and the conductive layer 140 is connected to the second metal layer 120 through the shallow hole 133; in the group of bridge structures 130, the bridge structure 130 closest to the edge of the outer side 301 of the sealant is an outermost bridge structure 131, and the outermost bridge structure 131 is disposed under the sealant 300 and covered by the sealant 300; the outermost bridge structure 131 comprises a first deep hole 132a and a first shallow hole 133 a; the first shallow hole 133a is disposed at a side of the first deep hole 132a close to the display region 11.
According to the application, the deep hole 132 with better corrosion resistance in the bridging structure 130 is closer to the outer side 301 of the frame sealant, and the thicknesses of the frame sealant 300 covered above the deep hole 132 and the shallow hole 133 are different when the frame sealant 300 is coated; the deep hole 132 covers more frame glue 300, and the protection effect on the hole is stronger, so that the anti-corrosion capability of the deep hole 132 closer to the outer side 301 of the frame glue is stronger; not only can prevent water vapor from corroding from the edge of the frame glue 300 to the bridging structure 130, but also can protect the bridging structure 130 from being corroded by the external water vapor, and can save the manufacturing process of the protective layer.
As shown in fig. 8, a plurality of the bridge structures 130 are arranged in a straight line along the direction of the sealant 300, in one of the bridge structures 130, the deep hole 132 and the shallow hole 133 are arranged side by side, and the straight line where the deep hole 132 and the shallow hole 133 are arranged side by side is perpendicular to the moving direction of the sealant 300; in the group of bridge structures 130, except for the outermost bridge structure 131, in the other bridge structures 130, the deep holes 132 and the shallow holes 133 are arranged in a staggered manner along the running direction of the sealant 300.
In the present application, in all the bridging structures 130, in a row of holes close to the edge of the display panel 10, the deep holes 132 and the shallow holes 133 are staggered, and for the scheme that all the deep holes 132 face outward or all the shallow holes 133 face inward, because the deep holes 132 need to penetrate through two insulating layers, the conductive layer 140 is connected to the first metal layer 110 through the deep holes 132, and the shallow holes 133 only need to penetrate through one insulating layer, the conductive layer 140 is connected to the second metal layer 120 through the shallow holes 133, so that the breaking difference of the deep holes 132 is high, the deep holes 132 or the shallow holes 133 all lean against one side of the edge of the display panel 10, a large-area breaking difference is formed between the deep holes 132 and the shallow holes 133, so that the thickness of the conductive layer 140 is not uniform, so that the area of the conductive layer 140 is larger, and is easily corroded by external water vapor, and in the present application, after the deep holes 132 and the shallow holes 133 are staggered, the breaking difference between the deep holes 132 and the shallow holes 133 is better, the uniformity of the conductive layer 140 is discontinuous, is not easy to be corroded by the outside.
As shown in fig. 1 to 9, the present application further discloses a display device 1, which includes the display panel 10 and a backlight module 30 for providing a light source for the display panel. The display panel is divided into a display area 11 and a non-display area 12, and includes: the display panel comprises an array substrate 101, a color film substrate 102 and a sealant 300, wherein the color film substrate 102 is arranged opposite to the array substrate 101, the sealant 300 is arranged between the array substrate 101 and the color film substrate 102, and the sealant 300 is arranged in the non-display area; the array substrate comprises a first metal layer 110 and a second metal layer 120 which are sequentially stacked corresponding to the non-display area, wherein the first metal layer 110 and the second metal layer 120 are mutually insulated; the first metal layer 110 is formed with a first metal routing group 111, and the second metal layer 120 is formed with a second metal routing group 121; the first metal wiring group 111 and the second metal wiring group 121 are in one-to-one corresponding conductive connection through a group of bridging structures 130; one side of the sealant 300 close to the display area is a sealant inner side 302, and one side of the sealant far from the display area is a sealant outer side 301; all the bridging structures are arranged on the outer side of the frame glue and face the direction of the display area; the first metal routing group 111 comprises a plurality of sub-routing lines 111a which are arranged in parallel, and each sub-routing line comprises a trunk section and an inner concave section which are communicated; sub-wires of the concave section are arcs; the sub-trace close to the edge of the display panel is a first sub-trace, and the outermost bridge structure 131 is disposed at a position closest to the display region in the inner concave section 113 of the first sub-trace.
It should be noted that, in the present application, the first metal routing group 111, i.e., the sub-routing group 112, is a peripheral routing of the non-display region 12 and provides a driving signal voltage (e.g., VGH, VGL, CLK, VCOM, etc.) for the display panel 10, and the second metal routing group 121, in the present application, is a transmission signal line, i.e., an electrostatic-Static discharge (ESD) routing, connected to the peripheral routing one to one, and is configured to transfer and conduct Static electricity of the peripheral routing of the non-display region 12 to the outside of the display panel 10 through the bridging structure 130, so as to avoid failure of the peripheral routing of the non-display region 12 due to ESD.
The technical solution of the present application can be widely applied to various display panels, such as TN (Twisted Nematic) display panel, IPS (In-Plane Switching) display panel, VA (Vertical Alignment) display panel, MVA (Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment) display panel, and of course, other types of display panels, such as OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display panel, and the above solution can be applied thereto.
