本发明属于陶瓷刀具技术领域,公开了一种梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料及其制备方法。所述梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料是先将钇稳定氧化锆粉体经素坯成型,在空气中800~1200℃预烧,制得预烧坯;再将预烧坯经机械加工成毛坯,所得刀具坯干燥后依次置于钇盐溶液、碱液、草酸溶液、流动的去离子水中浸泡,干燥后制得浸渗坯,将浸渗坯在空气中1350~1500℃烧结制得。本发明的刀具材料具有表硬芯韧的结构,生物亲和性好等优异特点;通过近净成型与原位渗透合成方法,可大批量生产,生产效率高,产品良率高,成本低,用于高速加工可获得比均质氧化锆刀具更可靠的稳定性以及更长的使用寿命。

一种梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料及其制备方法
技术领域
本发明属于陶瓷刀具技术领域,更具体地,涉及一种梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料及其制备方法。
背景技术
切削加工是机械加工领域最基本的技术,是精密部件的最重要制造手段。随着新材料与新技术的发展,切削加工正在往高速高效高精密发展,而刀具技术是高速高效精密加工的关键技术。近年来,随着电子产业的发展对非铁系材料的需求越来越大,如高强度石墨,电极铜合金,新型铝合金,多功能塑料等。面对这些材料的加工,传统刀具如高速钢,硬质合金等刀具材料难以满足加工速度和加工精度。而氧化锆陶瓷作为结构陶瓷具有优异的强度和韧性,同时硬度较高,用于加工新兴有色金属,增强塑料,高强度石墨等材料具有独特的优势。另一方面,氧化锆作为医疗工具中常用的刀具具有耐磨性好,精密度高,亲和性好等优点,其在生物医疗中的使用日益广泛。
目前,氧化锆刀具材料均为均质结构,其整体强度、韧性高,而硬度较低,或者整体硬度高而强度较低。以整体均质的氧化锆材料作为刀具使用难以满足长悬臂刀具的高强度和高硬度要求。以整体均质的高硬度氧化锆材料制备的刀具往往出现崩刃,折断等问题;而以整体均质的高韧性氧化锆材料制备的刀具往往出现耐磨性差,切削寿命短等问题。因此,开发具有高强度高韧性基体,同时具有高硬度表面和刃部的刀具材料是提高氧化锆刀具使用效果的有效方法。
发明内容
为了解决上述现有技术中存在的不足和缺点,本发明的首要目的在于提供一种梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,该材料具有表硬芯韧的结构,高强度高韧性基体以及高硬度表面和刃部。
本发明另一目的在于提供了上述梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的制备方法,该方法通过近净成型与原位渗透合成方法,可大批量生产,生产效率高,产品良率高,成本低。
本发明的目的通过下述技术方案来实现:
一种梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,所述梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料是先将钇稳定氧化锆粉体经素坯成型,在空气中800~1200℃预烧,制得预烧坯;再将预烧坯经机械加工成毛坯,所得刀具坯干燥后依次置于钇盐溶液、碱液、草酸溶液、流动的去离子水中浸泡,干燥后制得浸渗坯,将浸渗坯在空气中1350~1500℃烧结制得。
优选地,所述钇稳定氧化锆粉体的钇含量为1~2.5%mol,纯度为95%以上,粒度为小于0.5微米。
优选地,所述预烧工艺为:以200~400℃/h升温至400~600℃并保温1~4h;以160~240℃/h升温至800~1200℃并保温1~10h;再以200~250℃/h降温至600~650℃;再以50~60℃/h降温到室温。
优选地,所述钇盐溶液为硝酸钇水溶液或氯化钇水溶液;所述钇盐溶液的浓度为0.002~0.01mol/L。
优选地,所述碱液为氢氧化钠水溶液、氢氧化钾水溶液或氨水,所述碱液的pH值为8~12。
优选地,所述草酸溶液pH值为1.2~2。
优选地,所述置于钇盐溶液中浸泡的时间为10~60min,所述置于碱液中浸泡的时间为1~10min,所述置于草酸溶液中浸泡的时间为10~60min,所述置于去离子水中浸泡的时间为2~48h。
优选地,所述烧结工艺为以400~500℃/h升温至480~530℃;再以280~320℃/h升温至1050~1150℃;再以180~210℃/h升温至1380~1500℃,并保温0.5~4h;再以300~350℃/h降温至550~650℃;再以50~60℃/h降温至室温。
优选地,所述梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1350~1450HV,韧性为4~6MPa·m1/2;芯部硬度为1150~1350HV,韧性为6~12MPa·m1/2
所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的制备方法,包括如下具体步骤:
S1.将钇稳定氧化锆粉体经素坯成型,在空气中800~1200℃预烧,制得预烧坯;
S2.将预烧坯再经机械加工成毛坯,得到刀具坯,刀具坯干燥后依次置于钇盐溶液、碱液、草酸溶液、流动的去离子水中浸泡,干燥后制得浸渗坯;
S3.浸渗坯在空气中1350~1500℃烧结,制得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料。
本发明中素坯配方以及浸泡渗入顺序,操作过程,烧结工艺为一套完整的技术方案,其获得的梯度氧化锆陶瓷材料做了针对性的配方与技术优化以作为切削刀具应用。其中,素坯原料为低钇稳定氧化锆,可以实现基体的高强度,并由于钇稳定氧化锆的应力相变增韧机理而具有高韧性。在浸泡渗入工艺中,钇盐溶液提供额外的钇,钇盐渗入到素坯中与后续渗入的碱液反应形成氢氧化钇胶体,该氢氧化钇胶体反应层通过浸泡于碱液的浓度和时间进行控制,该氢氧化钇胶体层在后续草酸溶液中反应生成细小的氧化钇颗粒沉淀,并填充于素坯表层的氧化锆颗粒间,再经过流动去离子水浸泡后,素坯残余的钇盐将溶于去离子水而得到去除,从而素坯内部的钇含量仍与浸泡于钇盐前保持一致。因此,素坯内部具有高强度与高韧性。素坯表层的氧化钇在烧结过程中与氧化锆发生固溶,导致烧结后表层为高钇稳定氧化锆,由于高钇稳定氧化锆具有更高的硬度,从而实现表硬芯韧的结构。由于表层与芯部为同一物相,其梯度层应力小,具有优异的稳定性。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有以下有益效果:
1.本发明的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,具有高强度高韧性基体以及高硬度表面和刃部。
2.本发明的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料表层钇含量高于芯部钇含量,且钇的摩尔分数从表面到芯部呈连续变化,具有从表面到芯部硬度逐渐降低,强度和韧性逐渐增加的表硬芯韧结构。
3.本发明通过近净成型与原位渗透合成方法制备连续梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其具有表硬芯韧的结构,且可大批量生产,生产效率高,产品良率高,成本低,用于高速加工可获得比均质氧化锆刀具更可靠的稳定性以及更长的刀具寿命。

具体实施方式
下面结合具体实施例进一步说明本发明的内容,但不应理解为对本发明的限制。若未特别指明,实施例中所用的技术手段为本领域技术人员所熟知的常规手段。除非特别说明,本发明采用的试剂、方法和设备为本技术领域常规试剂、方法和设备。
实施例1
1.将纯度为98%以上,粒度为0.2微米的2mol%钇稳定氧化锆粉体经干压以及冷等静压成型为棒状,得到成型坯;
2.将成型坯置于烧结炉中,在空气中以300℃/小时升温到500℃;再以200℃/小时升温到1000℃并保温4小时;再以250℃/小时降温到600℃;再以60℃/小时降温到室温,得到预烧坯;
3.将预烧坯加工成立铣刀毛坯,得到刀具坯;
4.将刀具坯置于浓度为0.005mol/L的硝酸钇水溶液中浸泡30min,取出后置于pH值为12的氨水中浸泡2min,取出后置于pH值为1.5的草酸水溶液中浸泡20min,取出后置于流动去离子水中浸泡2小时,取出干燥后得到浸渗坯;
5.将浸渗坯置于烧结炉中,在空气中以500℃/小时升温到500℃;再以300℃/小时升温到1100℃;再以200℃/小时升温到1450℃,并保温1小时;再以300℃/小时降温到600℃;再以50℃/小时降温到室温,制得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料。
本实施例所得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1430HV,韧性为4.5MPa·m1 /2。芯部硬度为1280HV,韧性为11.2MPa·m1/2
图1为实施例1所制备的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具毛坯截面硬度变化示意图。由图1可知,刀具毛坯的表面,特别是刃部尖端具有比芯部更高的硬度,且硬度从表面到芯部呈连续变化,说明以该材料制备的刀具可获得更佳的表面耐磨性,而保持较高的整体韧性和强度,从而可获得更长的刀具寿命和表面加工质量。
实施例2
与实施例1不同的在于:步骤1中1.5mol%钇稳定氧化锆粉。
本实施例所得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1394HV,韧性为4.8MPa·m1 /2。芯部硬度为1177HV,韧性为11.8MPa·m1/2
实施例3
与实施例1不同的在于:步骤4中的硝酸钇水溶液浓度为0.008mol/L。
本实施例所得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1420HV,韧性为4.2MPa·m1 /2。芯部硬度为1264HV,韧性为10.9MPa·m1/2

与实施例1不同的在于:步骤4中在氨水中浸泡的时间为5min。
本实施例所得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1419HV,韧性为4.4MPa·m1 /2。芯部硬度为1258HV,韧性为10.7MPa·m1/2

与实施例1不同的在于:步骤1中1.5mol%钇稳定氧化锆粉,步骤4中硝酸钇水溶液浓度为0.001mol/L。
本实施例所得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1363HV,韧性为5.6MPa·m1 /2。芯部硬度为1134HV,韧性为11.7MPa·m1/2
实施例6
与实施例1不同的在于:步骤1中2.5mol%钇稳定氧化锆粉,步骤4中硝酸钇水溶液浓度为0.008mol/L。
本实施例所得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1416HV,韧性为4.9MPa·m1 /2。芯部硬度为1321HV,韧性为6.1MPa·m1/2
本发明制得的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1350~1450HV,韧性为4~6MPa·m1/2;芯部硬度为1150~1350HV,韧性为6~12MPa·m1/2。梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料表层钇含量高于芯部钇含量,且钇的摩尔分数从表面到芯部呈连续变化,具有从表面到芯部硬度逐渐降低,强度和韧性逐渐增加的表硬芯韧结构。说明以该材料制备的刀具可获得更佳的表面耐磨性,而保持较高的整体韧性和强度,从而可获得更长的刀具寿命和表面加工质量。

1.一种梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料是先将钇稳定氧化锆粉体经素坯成型,在空气中800~1200℃预烧,制得预烧坯;再将预烧坯经机械加工成毛坯,所得刀具坯干燥后依次置于钇盐溶液、碱液、草酸溶液、流动的去离子水中浸泡,干燥后制得浸渗坯,将浸渗坯在空气中1350~1500℃烧结制得。
2.根据权利要求1所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述钇稳定氧化锆粉体的钇含量为1~2.5%mol,纯度为95%以上,粒度为小于0.5微米。
3.根据权利要求1所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述预烧工艺为:以200~400℃/h升温至400~600℃并保温1~4h;以160~240℃/h升温至800~1200℃并保温1~10h;再以200~250℃/h降温至600~650℃;再以50~60℃/h降温到室温。

5.根据权利要求1所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述碱液为氢氧化钠水溶液、氢氧化钾水溶液或氨水,所述碱液的pH值为8~12。
6.根据权利要求1所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述草酸溶液pH值为1.2~2。
7.根据权利要求1所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述置于钇盐溶液中浸泡的时间为10~60min,所述置于碱液中浸泡的时间为1~10min,所述置于草酸溶液中浸泡的时间为10~60min,所述置于去离子水中浸泡的时间为2~48h。
8.根据权利要求1所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述烧结工艺为以400~500℃/h升温至480~530℃;再以280~320℃/h升温至1050~1150℃;再以180~210℃/h升温至1380~1500℃,并保温0.5~4h;再以300~350℃/h降温至550~650℃;再以50~60℃/h降温至室温。
9.根据权利要求1所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料,其特征在于,所述梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的表面硬度为1350~1450HV,韧性为4~6MPa·m1/2;芯部硬度为1150~1350HV,韧性为6~12MPa·m1/2
10.根据权利要求1-9任一项所述的梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下具体步骤:
S1.将钇稳定氧化锆粉体经素坯成型,在空气中800~1200℃预烧,制得预烧坯;
S2.将预烧坯再经机械加工成毛坯,得到刀具坯,刀具坯干燥后依次置于钇盐溶液、碱液、草酸溶液、流动的去离子水中浸泡,干燥后制得浸渗坯;
S3.浸渗坯在空气中1350~1500℃烧结,制得梯度氧化锆陶瓷刀具材料。
