技术领域
本发明属于高分子合成技术领域,具体涉及一种水性丙烯酸乳液及其制备方法和应用。
背景技术
以丙烯酸酯、甲基丙烯酸酯等单体为主要原料合成的共聚物为并丙烯酸树脂,丙烯酸树脂具有良好的附着力、耐候性,以其作为成膜物质的涂料为丙烯酸树脂涂料,丙烯酸树脂涂料因其具有良好的耐候、耐腐蚀、耐污染性能而被广泛应用。现有的丙烯酸树脂主要是溶剂型,对环境污染大,而水性丙烯酸树脂与溶剂型丙烯酸树脂相比附着力、耐水性、耐盐雾性、耐磨性、硬度、耐冲击性、抗湿性、耐溶剂性能较差,自干成膜后,涂层以颗粒堆积而形成,固化温度高,含有水性丙烯酸树脂的涂料低温下不易成膜,需在高温下烘烤固化,涂料施工性能差。水性丙烯酸乳液的制备多采用离子型乳化剂,虽然乳化效果好,但对离子种类有要求,储存稳定性差,在同类离子环境中容易出现分层现象,外加的离子型乳化剂游离于体系之外,易迁移,成膜后耐水性和耐盐雾性差。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供一种水性丙烯酸乳液,该水性丙烯酸乳液具有良好的附着力、耐热稳定和耐抗性能,将其应用于水性涂料中可提高漆膜的硬度、耐水、耐划伤和耐化学品性能。
本发明的技术方案如下:
一种水性丙烯酸乳液,包括以下按质量百分比计算的组分:丙烯酸软单体15-20%、丙烯酸硬单体30-45%、功能单体10-15%、交联单体10-15%、引发剂0.1-2%、乳化剂0.1-5%、中和剂0.1-5%、助剂0.1-2%、pH调节剂0.1-5%以及余量的水;
其中,所述丙烯酸软单体为2-丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯和丙烯酸异辛酯;所述丙烯酸硬单体为甲基丙烯酸异冰片酯;所述功能单体为丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸甲酯和甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯;所述交联单体为甲基丙烯酸四氢糠基酯、双丙酮丙烯酰胺和己二酸二酰肼。
进一步的,所述引发剂为过硫酸铵或过硫酸钠。
进一步的,所述乳化剂为质量比为1-3:1的非离子型乳化剂和阴离子型表面活性剂。
进一步的,所述非离子型乳化剂为异构醇聚氧乙烯醚和十二烷基酚聚氧乙烯醚,可提高乳液的附着力和润湿性;所述阴离子表面活性剂为1-烯丙氧基-3-(4-壬基苯酚)-2-丙醇聚氧乙烯(10)醚硫酸铵,可乳化形成粒径小且分布均匀的乳液,反应过程中气泡生成量少,可有效提高乳液固化膜的附着力和机械性能。
进一步的,所述助剂为十二硫醇、十六烷醇、聚丙烯酸钠中的至少一种。
进一步的,所述中和剂为质量比2-3:2-3:1的氨水、氢氧化钠和2-氨基-2-甲基-1-丙醇。氨水和2-氨基-2-甲基-1-丙醇具有良好的挥发性能,可提高乳液的固化速度和成膜性能,提高固化膜的平整度和光泽度;氢氧化钠作为一种强碱可提高功能单体的水溶性,提高乳化反应效率,乳液固化后残留在膜中影响涂膜性能。

一种所述的水性丙烯酸乳液的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
a.将引发剂配制成浓度为1.5-2%的引发剂水溶液;
b.将交联单体双丙酮丙烯酰胺和助剂混合,搅拌均匀后制得混合物A;
c.将功能单体与占纯水总质量50-60%的纯水混合,加热至80-85℃,升温过程中加入中和剂,300-500r/min搅拌15-45min,加入丙烯酸软单体、丙烯酸硬单体和乳化剂,通入氮气,保持温度在80-85℃,滴加占引发剂水溶液总质量50-60%的引发剂水溶液,反应30-45min;加入混合物A,滴加余量的引发剂水溶液,保持温度在80-85℃,反应2-3h;冷却至室温,加入pH调节剂调节乳液pH至8-9,加入交联单体己二酸二酰肼、甲基丙烯酸四氢糠基酯和余量的纯水,搅拌15-30min即得水性丙烯酸乳液。
一种含有所述的水性丙烯酸乳液的水性涂料,包括以下按重量份数计算的组分:水性丙烯酸乳液40-50份、色浆30-40份、水性助剂1-10份。
本发明具有如下有益效果:
本发明选用的丙烯酸硬单体可提高乳液的硬度、附着力和耐抗性能;丙烯酸软单体可提高乳液的柔韧性;交联单体可在常温下交联固化,可提高乳液的力学性能和耐化学品性能,甲基丙烯酸四氢糠基酯可降低乳液的表面张力,提高漆膜的附着力和抗刮耐磨性能;功能单体在反应中产生的气泡少,提高了乳液的粘附性、润湿性和耐水性。各组分协同,可形成粒径小且分布均匀的水性丙烯酸乳液,乳液附着力、热稳定性和耐抗性好。本发明水性丙烯酸乳液通过预乳化法制备而成,乳化体系稳定,乳化时间短,反应效率高,过程可控。将本发明水性丙烯酸乳液应用于水性涂料中,乳液在体系中具有良好机械稳定性能和颜料分散性,可提高油墨的防附着力、耐划伤、耐热稳定性和耐水性。

可见,本发明水性丙烯酸乳液粒径小且均一,具有良好的附着力和抗划伤性能,吸水率低,耐水性好,无凝胶,稳定性好。
将本发明水性丙烯酸乳液3个实施例和8个对比例应用于水性涂料中,制得样品1-11,所述水性涂料包括以下组分:水性丙烯酸乳液50份、色浆30份、水性流平剂1份。根据GB/T22374-2008、GB/T1771-2007测试涂料的耐水性和耐盐雾性能,测试结果见下表:
可见,将本发明水性丙烯酸乳液可提高漆膜的耐水性和耐盐雾性。
本发明水性丙烯酸乳液具有良好的附着力、耐热稳定和耐抗性能,将其应用于水性涂料中可提高漆膜的硬度、耐水、耐划伤和耐化学品性能。
Claims (9)
1.一种水性丙烯酸乳液,其特征在于,包括以下按质量百分比计算的组分:丙烯酸软单体15-20%、丙烯酸硬单体30-45%、功能单体10-15%、交联单体10-15%、引发剂0.1-2%、乳化剂0.1-5%、中和剂0.1-5%、助剂0.1-2%、pH调节剂0.1-5%以及余量的水;
其中,所述丙烯酸软单体为2-丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯和丙烯酸异辛酯;所述丙烯酸硬单体为甲基丙烯酸异冰片酯;所述功能单体为丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸甲酯和甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯;所述交联单体为甲基丙烯酸四氢糠基酯、双丙酮丙烯酰胺和己二酸二酰肼。
2.根据权利要求1所述的水性丙烯酸乳液,其特征在于,所述引发剂为过硫酸铵或过硫酸钠。
3.根据权利要求1所述的水性丙烯酸乳液,其特征在于,所述乳化剂为质量比为1-3:1的非离子型乳化剂和阴离子型表面活性剂。
4.根据权利要求3所述的水性丙烯酸乳液,其特征在于,所述非离子型乳化剂为异构醇聚氧乙烯醚和十二烷基酚聚氧乙烯醚,所述阴离子表面活性剂为1-烯丙氧基-3-(4-壬基苯酚)-2-丙醇聚氧乙烯(10)醚硫酸铵。
5.根据权利要求1所述的水性丙烯酸乳液,其特征在于,所述助剂为十二硫醇、十六烷醇、聚丙烯酸钠中的至少一种。
6.根据权利要求1所述的水性丙烯酸乳液,其特征在于,所述中和剂为质量比2-3:2-3:1的氨水、氢氧化钠和2-氨基-2-甲基-1-丙醇。
7.根据权利要求1所述的水性丙烯酸乳液,其特征在于,所述pH调节剂为碳酸氢钠。
8.一种权利要求1-7任一项所述的水性丙烯酸乳液的制备方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
a.将引发剂配制成浓度为1.5-2%的引发剂水溶液;
b.将交联单体双丙酮丙烯酰胺和助剂混合,搅拌均匀后制得混合物A;
c.将功能单体与占纯水总质量50-60%的纯水混合,加热至80-85℃,升温过程中加入中和剂,300-500r/min搅拌15-45min,加入丙烯酸软单体、丙烯酸硬单体和乳化剂,通入氮气,保持温度在80-85℃,滴加占引发剂水溶液总质量50-60%的引发剂水溶液,反应30-45min;加入混合物A,滴加余量的引发剂水溶液,保持温度在80-85℃,反应2-3h;冷却至室温,加入pH调节剂调节乳液pH至8-9,加入交联单体己二酸二酰肼、甲基丙烯酸四氢糠基酯和余量的纯水,搅拌15-30min即得水性丙烯酸乳液。
9.一种含有权利要求1-7任一项所述的水性丙烯酸乳液的水性涂料,其特征在于,包括以下按重量份数计算的组分:水性丙烯酸乳液40-50份、色浆30-40份、水性助剂1-10份。
