Abstract

本发明公开了一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,包括以下步骤,离子刻蚀,为涂层做准备;制备涂层打底层,形成ALCRN的打底涂层;制备涂层过渡层,形成过渡层;制备涂层功能层,形成ALCrBN的纳米复合涂层。本发明在二元涂层基础上中加入新的元素B,提高涂层的隔热性,以及耐磨性,涂层在高速切削方面较之前的工艺有很大的提高,刀具能够展示出更好的优异性极大地提升刀具得使用性能。

一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法、涂层及刀具
技术领域
本发明涉及刀具涂层,具体是一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法、涂层及刀具。
背景技术
因钛合金其形变系数小、热导率低、活化分子高等特性,切削实验加工过程中会严重产生高的切削温度,加速切削刀具磨损与失效过程。切削加工过程中工件与刀具间的相互摩擦与切削力作用也会使的切削刀具产生严重摩擦磨损。由于在对钛合金做切削加工实验中尚存在很多难点和局限,根据以上原因因此要选择导热系数大、散热性好和化学性能较稳定的刀具。目前业内公认的最适合加工钛合金效果最好的切削刀具是金刚石刀具,但又于金刚石刀具价格昂贵,因此目前硬质合金涂层刀具作为切削钛合金刀具仍然占据着钛合金切削加工市场的主要地位。
制造业迎来飞速发展,钛合金的应用会越来越多,对质量以及精度要求也会不断提高,如何选择更加合适的钛合金切削刀具,提高产业工业化生产水平要求、降低钛合金构建的成本过程、对机械加工的永久发展和制造业整体优质水平的提高有着深厚的意义。
近年来,由于涂层的制备工艺和研究方法在不断的前进与发展,刀具涂层朝着多元化、复合化和纳米化方向发展,出现了各种各样的新薄膜,如:多层薄膜、纳米复合结构薄膜、超硬质薄膜等,这些薄膜具有良好的摩擦性能、力学性能、用抗氧化性能和抗腐蚀性能,由于具有以上优点,这些涂层被广泛的应用到钛合金的加工中,这些涂层展示了优异的性能,大大促进了现代加工业的发展。
传统理论认为涂层刀具对钛合金的加工并不适用,因为常见的涂层大多为二元TiN或三元CrAlN涂层,而这类涂层虽然有高的硬度和优异的抗氧化性,但是在现代高速切削加工中对涂层性能的要求越来越高,单一涂层往往满足不了现状,在切削实验过程中,刀具较容易失效脱落,其隔热性、耐磨性不足,寿命短,切削速度慢。
发明内容
为解决上述现有技术的缺陷,本发明提供一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法、涂层及刀具,本发明在二元涂层基础上中加入新的元素B,提高涂层的隔热性,以及耐磨性,涂层在高速切削方面较之前的工艺有很大的提高,刀具能够展示出更好的优异性极大地提升刀具得使用性能。
为实现上述技术目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,包括以下步骤,
离子刻蚀:安装靶材AL0.7Cr0.3和靶材ALxCryB1-x-y,其中,0.4≤x≤0.6,0.2≤y≤0.4;将刀具放置在真空室的旋转架上,抽真空5×10-4mba,升温至480℃,向真空室内通入氩气,氩气流量为50sccm,维持偏压-170V,将刀具表面进行刻蚀,保持辉光放电,为涂层做准备;
制备涂层打底层:向真空室内通入400-450sccm氮气,向靶材AL0.7Cr0.3通入130A电流,形成ALCRN的打底涂层;
制备涂层过渡层:向真空室内持续通入600sccm氮气,向靶材ALxCryB1-x-y通入150A电流,持续向靶材AL0.7Cr0.3通入130A电流,维持-80V的偏压,形成过渡层;
制备涂层功能层:维持-100V的偏压,持续向靶材ALxCryB1-x-y通入150A电流,形成ALCrBN的纳米复合涂层。
进一步地,在所述离子刻蚀之前还包括,清洗烘干:将刀具放在超声波下进行清洗,然后烘干。
进一步地,将刀具放置在真空炉的旋转架上具体为,将清洗烘干后的刀具放在真空室的旋转平台上,保持刀具的公转和自转。
进一步地,所述真空室为真空炉。
进一步地,在所述制备涂层打底层步骤中,维持5×10-4mba的压力。
进一步地,在所述制备涂层打底层步骤中,形成的ALCRN打底涂层的厚度为25nm-30nm。
进一步地,在所述制备涂层过渡层步骤中,形成的过渡层的厚度为20nm-25nm。
进一步地,在所述制备涂层功能层步骤中,形成的ALCrBN纳米复合涂层厚度为35nm-40nm。
一种钛合金切削刀具涂层,所述涂层为ALCrBN纳米复合涂层,所述涂层采用上述任一方案所述的制备方法制成。
一种钛合金切削刀具,所述刀具表面涂覆上述方案中所述的涂层。
综上所述,本发明取得了以下技术效果:
1、本发明通入氩气,电离出Ar气体离子,在刀具表面进行刻蚀,为涂层做基础的准备;
2、本发明在固定的压力下,通入氮气以及对靶材AL0.7Cr0.3通入电流,在刀具的表面形成打底涂层,该打底涂层为ALCRN复合物,提高涂层与基体的结合力;
3、本发明向靶材ALxCryB1-x-y通入电流,在固定的偏压以及氮气作用下,在刀具表面形成过渡层,起到过渡作用;
4、本发明将偏压提高梯度,向靶材ALxCryB1-x-y持续通入电流,度增加偏压可以使涂层获得梯度的硬度,既提高涂层各层的结合强度,又可以使涂层韧性和硬度承上启下,缓冲涂层收到的冲击,形成ALCrBN的纳米复合涂层;
5、本发明隔热性好,耐磨性高,寿命长,切削速度较快,为客户降低了制造成本;
6、在涂层检测中,检测到上述制备方法制成的涂层的划痕值为80N-90N,硬度37-38Gpa, 弹性模量340Gpa。涂层结果显示:涂层结合力较高,硬度和弹性模量的比值0.5。
7、在刀具切削实验中,检测到切削参数如下:切削速度VC=113M/min,进给 Fz=0.05mm/t,切削深度ap=0.2mm,被加工叶片材料钛合金TC4,同样的刀具分两种涂层,在第一种方案中,涂层采用普通的ALCrN涂层,在第二种方案中,涂层采用上述步骤制成的ALCrBN涂层。在试切64.5m的情况下,在第一种方案中,后刀面磨损0.038mm;在第二种方案中,后刀面磨损0.015mm;经过实验,第二种方案的刀具寿命相对于第一种方案提高了2 倍。本发明减少刀具磨损,提高刀具寿命,为客户降低了制造成本。

实施例:
在一个实施例中,提供一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,利用到真空室即真空炉,包括以下步骤,
首先,将刀具放在超声波下进行清洗,然后烘干。
离子刻蚀:安装靶材AL0.7Cr0.3和靶材ALxCryB1-x-y,其中,0.4≤x≤0.6,0.2≤y≤0.4;将刀具放置在真空室的旋转架上,具体的,将清洗烘干后的刀具放在真空室的旋转平台上,保持刀具的公转和自转,使其涂层的均匀性一致;将真空室抽真空5×10-4mba,升温至480℃,向真空室内通入氩气,氩气流量为50sccm,电离出离子,将刀具表面进行刻蚀,保持辉光放电,维持偏压-170V,为涂层做准备。
制备涂层打底层:维持5×10-4mba的压力,向真空室内通入400-450sccm氮气,向靶材 AL0.7Cr0.3通入130A电流,让其在刀具表面形成ALCRN的打底涂层,提高涂层与基体的结合力;在本步骤中,形成的ALCRN打底涂层的厚度为25nm-30nm。
制备涂层过渡层:向真空室内持续通入600sccm氮气保持炉腔的压力,向靶材ALxCryB1-x-y通入150A电流,持续向靶材AL0.7Cr0.3通入130A电流,维持-80V的偏压,形成过渡层,起到过度作用。在本步骤中,形成的过渡层的厚度为20nm-25nm。
制备涂层功能层:将-80V的偏压梯度提高到-100V,持续向靶材ALxCryB1-x-y通入150A 电流,梯度增加偏压可以使涂层获得梯度的硬度,既提高涂层各层的结合强度,又可以使涂层韧性和硬度承上启下,缓冲涂层收到的冲击,形成ALCrBN的纳米复合涂层。在本步骤中,形成的ALCrBN纳米复合涂层厚度为35nm-40nm。
在另一个实施例中,提供一种钛合金切削刀具涂层,该涂层为ALCrBN纳米复合涂层,涂层采用上述所述的制备方法制成。
在另一个实施例中,提供一种钛合金切削刀具,刀具表面涂覆如上述涂层。
在涂层检测中,检测到上述制备方法制成的涂层的划痕值为80N-90N,硬度37-38Gpa, 弹性模量340Gpa。涂层结果显示:涂层结合力较高,硬度和弹性模量的比值0.5。
在刀具切削实验中,检测到切削参数如下:切削速度VC=113M/min,进给Fz=0.05mm/t,切削深度ap=0.2mm,被加工叶片材料钛合金TC4,同样的刀具分两种涂层,在第一种方案中,涂层采用普通的ALCrN涂层,在第二种方案中,涂层采用上述步骤制成的ALCrBN涂层。在试切64.5m的情况下,在第一种方案中,后刀面磨损0.038mm,如图3所示;在第二种方案中,后刀面磨损0.015mm,如图4所示;经过实验,第二种方案的刀具寿命相对于第一种方案提高了2倍,如图5所示。本发明减少刀具磨损,提高刀具寿命,为客户降低了制造成本。

Claims (10)

1.一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:包括以下步骤,
离子刻蚀:安装靶材Al0.7Cr0.3和靶材AlxCryB1-x-y,其中,0.4≤x≤0.6,0.2≤y≤0.4;将刀具放置在真空室的旋转架上,抽真空5×10-4mba,升温至480℃,向真空室内通入氩气,氩气流量为50sccm,维持偏压-170V,将刀具表面进行刻蚀,保持辉光放电,为涂层做准备;
制备涂层打底层:向真空室内通入400-450sccm氮气,向靶材Al0.7Cr0.3通入130A电流,形成AlCrN 的打底涂层;
制备涂层过渡层:向真空室内持续通入600sccm氮气,向靶材AlxCryB1-x-y通入150A电流,持续向靶材Al0.7Cr0.3通入130A电流,维持-80V的偏压,形成过渡层;
制备涂层功能层:将-80V的偏压梯度提高到-100V,持续向靶材AlxCryB1-x-y通入150A电流,形成AlCrBN 的纳米复合涂层。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:在所述离子刻蚀之前还包括清洗烘干:将刀具放在超声波下进行清洗,然后烘干。
3.根据权利要求2所述的一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:将刀具放置在真空炉的旋转架上具体为,将清洗烘干后的刀具放在真空室的旋转平台上,保持刀具的公转和自转。
4.根据权利要求3所述的一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:所述真空室为真空炉。
5.根据权利要求4所述的一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:在所述制备涂层打底层步骤中,维持5×10-4mba的压力。
6.根据权利要求5所述的一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:在所述制备涂层打底层步骤中,形成的AlCrN 打底涂层的厚度为25nm-30nm。
7.根据权利要求6所述的一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:在所述制备涂层过渡层步骤中,形成的过渡层的厚度为20nm-25nm。
8.根据权利要求7所述的一种钛合金切削刀具涂层的制备方法,其特征在于:在所述制备涂层功能层步骤中,形成的AlCrBN 纳米复合涂层厚度为35nm-40nm。
9.一种钛合金切削刀具涂层,其特征在于:所述涂层为AlCrBN 纳米复合涂层,所述涂层采用如权利要求1-8任一项所述的制备方法制成。
10.一种钛合金切削刀具,其特征在于:所述刀具表面涂覆如权利要求9所述的涂层。
