Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of plant breeding methods, and particularly discloses a hot pepper self-pollination method and application thereof.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of plant breeding methods, in particular to a hot pepper selfing pollination method and application thereof.
Background
Capsicum, also called ox horn pepper, long pepper, vegetable pepper, and lantern pepper, is a perennial or limited herbaceous plant, and capsicum belongs to a plant with cross pollination, and the purification of parent material usually requires artificial pollination. Therefore, the pepper pollination method has high and low working efficiency, and has important significance for producing pepper serving as important vegetables and seasonings so as to meet the daily life requirements of people.
At present, the content of pepper pollination methods is mostly artificial pollination methods, flowers to be pollinated need to be marked before artificial pollination, and a listing method is often adopted, namely, a thin line with a small plastic plate is sleeved in a flower stem. However, the method in the above technical solution has the following disadvantages: firstly, in the process of artificial selfing pollination, the stigma is very easy to be broken when in bud peeling and pollination, so that the pollination fails; secondly, after artificial selfing pollination, the stigmas are still pollinated for the second time after the insects are infected with exogenous pollen, so that pollen pollution is caused; thirdly, the plastic cards have certain weight, so that the pedicel can be tightened, the barrier of nutrient substance transmission of the pedicel is caused, and the normal growth of the fruit is influenced; fourthly, when the environmental wind power is large, the small plastic cards can be pulled down together with the flower stalks under the action of the wind power, so that the pollination fails; and fifthly, long time is consumed for artificial pollination, artificial flower soaking and pollination in the process of positioning selfing flowers by hanging the cards and hanging the plastic cards. Therefore, the method for rapid selfing and pollination of the peppers is designed, and theoretical and technical support can be provided for industrial cultivation of the peppers.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the invention aims to provide a self-pollination method for hot peppers, which aims to solve the problems that most of the existing hot pepper pollination methods proposed in the background art adopt artificial pollination methods, pollen pollution is easily caused, pollination is easily failed, normal growth of fruits is influenced, and time consumption is too long.
In order to achieve the above purpose, the embodiments of the present invention provide the following technical solutions:
a selfing pollination method for hot peppers comprises the following steps:
1) selecting selfing single plants of the hot peppers to be pollinated, and carrying out listing marking;
2) selecting a flower bud from a marked selfing single plant of the pepper for flower covering, wherein the flower covering is to cover the whole part of the flower bud and the flower stalk of the part corresponding to the flower bud by a sleeve, and then knotting and sealing the opening end of the sleeve.
The embodiment of the invention also aims to provide application of the self-pollination method for the hot pepper in hot pepper cultivation.
As a still further scheme of the invention: in the application of the self-pollination method of the pepper in pepper cultivation, the pepper can be generally selected from the following three types, namely the first type is lantern pepper, the second type is pod pepper and the third type is cluster pepper. Specifically, the species of pepper to be cultivated can be selected according to the need, and is not limited herein.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
the embodiment of the invention provides a hot pepper selfing pollination method, which is characterized in that the sleeve is adopted for selfing pollination of hot peppers, the working procedure is simple, the isolation effect is good, the labor consumption is low, the cost is low, only the sleeve needs to cover a flower bud, and knotting and sealing are carried out, so that the selfing pollination efficiency of the flower bud is improved, and the selfing pollination quality is ensured.
The material cost of the embodiment of the invention is low, the material used by the sleeve is common copy paper, the paper area used by a single sleeve is small, and the cost is less than 0.003 yuan; the colored metal wire only consumes about 4cm in length each time, is light in weight, not easy to fade, reusable and low in price.
And thirdly, the self-pollination of the material is ensured, the interference of entomophily and anemophily is isolated by the self-pollination in the sleeve, and the self-pollination in a single flower is completely realized.
The embodiment of the invention is easy to distinguish selfing fruits or non-selfing fruits, and the color binding wires formed by the metal wires have bright colors and are easy to discover; and is fixed on the fruit stalks and can not fall off with the wind; the method has the advantages of real-time fruit harvesting, easiness and simplicity, solves the problems that most of the existing hot pepper pollination methods adopt artificial pollination methods, pollen pollution is easily caused, pollination is easy to fail, normal growth of fruits is influenced, and time consumption is too long, and has wide market prospect.
