具体地,FPCB通过如下方式制备:将干膜层压在铜箔层压板上(在所述铜箔层压板中,铜箔形成在聚酰亚胺膜上,以通过曝光、显影和蚀刻工艺来形成导体图案),然后将覆盖膜结合到最外层铜箔。FPCB通过利用其原材料的挠性而用于反复移动的部件,或者在弯曲状态下被安装在复杂产品壳体的内部。由于FPCB的性质,FPCB以各种方式用于微型化(数码相机、摄录机等)、挠性(打印头、硬盘等)、高密度布线(诸如医疗器械的精密装置)以及组装的合理化(测量仪器、车辆电子装置、电池模块等)。
常规的电池模块使用许多线束来作为用于感测电池单体的电压并且传输信号的手段。然而,已经反复地发现,线束在电池模块内部的空间中引起问题和与连接器形成接触,所以FPCB正在被频繁地用作其替代方案。
同时,用于感测电池模块的电压的FPCB被主要用在使用袋型二次电池构造的电池模块中,在所述袋型二次电池中,正极引线和负极引线位于相反侧,所以其形状被设计为呈大致I型,或者考虑到添加温度传感器等而呈E型或F型。
然而,如果以如上I型、E型或F型形状来制备FPCB,则可能剩下太多的废料。例如,可以通过从具有聚酰胺膜和铜箔的FPCB片切割或冲压预先设计的FPCB形状来制备FPCB。然而,如图1中所示,在E型FPCB 1中,由于其几何形状而使得在FPCB片2中剩下太多未用空间3。未用空间3、即废料大部分未被再使用并废弃。这是造成FPCB的材料成本增加的主要原因。因此,需要使得FPCB片2中的未用空间最小化的方法或FPCB设计。
发明内容
技术问题
本公开被设计来解决现有技术的问题,因此本公开致力于通过设计FPCB来最大程度地利用FPCB片的空间,从而与常规技术相比节约材料成本。
然而,由本公开解决的技术问题不限于上述问题,并且本领域的技术人员将从所描述的本发明的以下描述中清楚地理解上面未提及的其它目的。
技术方案
在本公开的一个方面中,提供了一种用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板(FPCB)组件,其包括具有绝缘性和挠性的膜以及以预定形式布置在所述膜内部的导体图案,并且传输电信号,所述FPCB组件包括:主FPCB,所述主FPCB被构造成在一个方向上延伸;以及子FPCB,所述子FPCB被组装到所述主FPCB的至少一侧,并且被构造成在与所述主FPCB不同的方向上延伸。
所述主FPCB可以包括设置到其至少一侧的第一连接器端子,并且所述子FPCB可以包括设置到被组装到所述主FPCB的一部分并且装配到所述第一连接器端子中的第二连接器端子。
可以将所述第一连接器端子中的每一个设置成具有插座型阴性连接器引脚的形状,并且可以将所述第二连接器端子中的每一个设置成具有被插入到所述阴性连接器引脚中的阳性连接器引脚的形状。
所述阴性连接器引脚和所述阳性连接器引脚可以在彼此连接的状态下被挤压。
位于所述主FPCB的设置有所述第一连接器端子的区域中的所述膜可以被形成为凹形,而位于所述子FPCB的设置有所述第二连接器端子的区域中的所述膜可以被形成为凸形。
所述主FPCB可以包括单个FPCB,所述子FPCB可以包括至少一个FPCB,并且所述至少一个子FPCB可以与所述单个主FPCB组装在一起。
所述子FPCB可以包括第一子FPCB和第二子FPCB,并且所述第一子FPCB和所述第二子FPCB可以被分别组装到所述主FPCB的一个纵向端和另一纵向端,并且设置成在与所述主FPCB相交的一个方向上延伸。
可以将至少一个电压感测端子附接到所述第一子FPCB和所述第二子FPCB中的每一个,并且可以将至少一个温度传感器附接到所述主FPCB。
在本公开的另一方面中,还提供了一种制造如上所述的用于电池模块的FPCB组件的方法,所述方法包括:FPCB部件制备步骤,在所述FPCB部件制备步骤中,分别从预先设计有多个所述主FPCB的第一FPCB片和预先设计有多个所述子FPCB的第二FPCB片中分离出所述主FPCB和所述子FPCB;以及FPCB组装步骤,在所述FPCB组装步骤中,通过将设置到所述主FPCB的至少一侧的第一连接器端子和设置到所述子FPCB的至少一侧的第二连接器端子彼此连接,从而将所述主FPCB和所述子FPCB彼此组装。
可以将所述第一连接器端子中的每一个设置成具有插座型阴性连接器引脚的形状,并且可以将所述第二连接器端子中的每一个设置成具有被插入到所述阴性连接器引脚中的阳性连接器引脚的形状。
所述阴性连接器引脚和所述阳性连接器引脚可以在彼此连接之后通过压接工艺来挤压。
在本公开的再一方面中,还提供了一种电池模块,包括如上所述的用于电池模块的FPCB组件。
有利效果
根据本公开的实施方式,可以通过将具有简单形状的多个FPCB彼此连接来构造具有复杂形状的用于电池模块的FPCB组件。可以将具有简单形状的FPCB布置在FPCB片中,使得未用空间剩余得比常规技术少。因此,能够使在制造FPCB之后废弃的废料量最小化,从而降低材料成本。
根据本公开的另一实施方式,通过采用装配到具有近似笔直形状的单位FPCB中的连接器引脚,可以以比常规技术更简单且更经济的方式实现具有I形、T形、E形、F形等的用于电池模块的FPCB组件。

具体实施方式
在下文中,将参考附图详细地描述本公开的优选实施方式。在描述之前,应该理解的是,说明书和所附权利要求中使用的术语不应该被解释为限于一般含义和词典含义,而是在允许发明人适当地定义术语以获得最佳说明的原则基础上基于与本公开的技术方面相对应的含义和概念来解释。
因此,本文提出的描述只是仅为了图示的优选实例,而不旨在限制本公开的范围,所以应该理解的是,在不脱离本公开的范围的情况下,能对其做出其它等同和修改。
下述FPCB组件可以被包括在电池模块中并用作布线部件,所述布线部件感测二次电池单体的电压和温度,并将所述电压和温度传输到电池管理系统(BMS)。这里,根据本公开的FPCB组件的用途不限于作为电池模块的电压感测部件。例如,FPCB组件还可以用于将由一个装置或电路板提供的信号或电力传输到另一装置或电路板。
图2和图3是示出根据本公开实施方式的FPCB组件的分解立体图和组装立体图。
参考这些视图,根据本公开实施方式的用于电池模块的FPCB组件10包括主FPCB20以及设置成被组装到主FPCB 20的两个子FPCB 30a和30b。
主FPCB 20和两个子FPCB 30a、30b包括用于传输电信号的导体图案11和用于保护导体图案11并向其提供绝缘性和挠性的膜,并且如图所示,主FPCB 20和两个子FPCB 30a、30b被组装为形成单个FPCB组件10。
主FPCB 20在一个方向上延伸,而两个子FPCB 30a、30b在与主FPCB 20不同的方向上延伸。参考图2和图3,主FPCB 20被布置成沿着Y轴方向延伸,而两个子FPCB 30a、30b分别被连接到主FPCB 20的两端,并沿着X轴方向延伸。
也就是说,两个子FPCB 30a、30b包括第一子FPCB 30a和第二子FPCB 30b,并且第一子FPCB 30a和第二子FPCB 30b被分别组装到主FPCB 20的一个纵向端和另一纵向端,以在与主FPCB 20相交的方向上延伸。
第一子FPCB 30a和第二子FPCB 30b包括电压感测端子35,所述电压感测端子35是用于感测电池单体的电压的部件,并且在与用作主线路的主FPCB 20不同的方向上延伸,这将改善电池单体的电极引线的可用性。
如图4所示,可以将用于电池模块的FPCB组件10安装到单元堆100。这里,单元堆100可以被称为袋型电池单体的集合体,其中,袋型电池单体被设置成直立并在一个方向上堆叠。
主FPCB 20沿着单元堆100的纵向方向设置在单元堆100的上表面,而第一子FPCB30a和第二子FPCB 30b被分别设置于电极引线101所在的、单元堆100的前表面和后表面处。可以将电池单体的电极引线101焊接到集成电路板(ICB)110、120上的汇流条,并且将第一子FPCB 30a和第二子FPCB 30b的电压感测端子35附接到汇流条,以感测电池单体的电压。
温度传感器25被附接到主FPCB 20,使得温度传感器25感测电池单体的温度。工作中的电池单体可以根据其面积而具有温度差,所以必要时,可以不同地选择附接到电池单体的温度传感器25的数目和位置。
此实施方式公开了I形或H形FPCB组件10,其中两个子FPCB 30a、30b被组装到单个主FPCB 20。然而,与此实施方式不同,还可以将一个子FPCB或三个或更多个子FPCB 30a、30b组装到主FPCB 20,从而以更多种不同形状来形成FPCB组件10。
也就是说,FPCB组件10可以被组装为使得至少一个子FPCB 30a、30b从单个主FPCB20沿着多个方向伸展。
例如,图5示出了此实施方式的修改例。在图5所示的FPCB组件10中,两个子FPCB30c、30d被进一步组装到主FPCB 20的中心区域。也就是说,根据此修改例的FPCB组件10是通过组装一个主FPCB 20和四个子FPCB 30a、30b、30c、30d来构造而成。FPCB组件10允许温度传感器25沿着宽度方向容易地设置在单元堆100的两个边缘区域。
随后,将参考图6至图8描述主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b的连接结构。
在此实施方式中,可以使用连接器连接方法来实现主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b的连接结构。出于此目的,如图6所示,主FPCB 20具有设置到其至少一侧的第一连接器端子21,子FPCB 30a、30b具有第二连接器端子31,所述第二连接器端子31设置到被组装于主FPCB 20的区域,并且被装配到第一连接器端子21中。
每个第一连接器端子21可以被设置成具有插座型阴性连接器引脚的形状,每个第二连接器端子31可以被设置成具有可以被插入到所述阴性连接器引脚中的阳性连接器引脚的形状。
阴性连接器引脚和阳性连接器引脚分别以一对一的关系连接到FPCB组件10的导体图案11。例如,阴性连接器引脚和阳性连接器引脚分别可以由诸如铜或镍的导电金属制成,并通过台肩(shouldering)等附接到对应的导体图案11。在此实施方式中,设置了八个导体图案11,但是导体图案11的数目可以根据由导体图案11传输的信号的数目而增加或减少。
如图7所示,随着第二连接器端子31插入到主FPCB 20的第一连接器端子21中,子FPCB 30a、30b被连接到主FPCB 20。当然,这时,主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b的导体图案11也被电连接。
在此实施方式中,可以在压接工艺中进一步挤压第一连接器端子21和第二连接器端子31,以进一步保证第一连接器端子21和第二连接器端子31的接触可靠性。
例如,如图8所示,在将第二连接器端子31装配到第一连接器端子21中之后,可以将被装配部分放置在挤压夹具40a、40b之间,并由挤压夹具40a、40b按压,使得第一连接器端子21和第二连接器端子31被一体地挤压。即使对以此方式连接的主FPCB 20和子FPCB30a、30b施加拉伸强度,以此方式连接的主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b也不易断开。
此外,位于此实施方式中的主FPCB 20的、设置有第一连接器端子21的区域中的膜被形成为凹形,而位于子FPCB 30a、30b的、设置有第二连接器端子31的区域中的膜被形成为凸形。如果将设置有主FPCB 20的第一连接器端子21的区域定义为凹部23,并且将设置有子FPCB 30a、30b的第二连接器端子31的区域定义为凸部33,则可以将凹部23和凸部33设置成彼此接合。
在这种情况下,如果子FPCB 30a、30b的凸部33与主FPCB 20的凹部23对准然后推入其中,则八个第一连接器端子21和第二连接器端子31可以自然地彼此装配在一起,而互不扭曲。因此,可以容易地组装主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b,而不损坏连接器端子。
接下来,将简要地描述制造上述FPCB组件10的方法。
制造FPCB组件10的方法包括FPCB部件制备步骤和FPCB组装步骤。
如图8和图9所示,在第一FPCB片50中以相同的图案来设计主FPCB 20,并且类似地,在第二FPCB片60中以相同的图案来设计子FPCB 30a、30b。在这种情况下,可以近似地以直线形式来设计主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b,从而以最大程度地使用第一FPCB片50和第二FPCB片60的面积,从而使废弃的废料量最小化。
主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b分别根据其形状从第一FPCB片50和第二FPCB片60切除,以制备FPCB部件,然后执行FPCB组装步骤。
FPCB组装步骤非常简单。首先,将被设置到子FPCB 30a、30b的一侧的第二连接器端子31插入到被设置到主FPCB 20的两端的第一连接器端子21中,以形成FPCB组件10的形状。这里,如上所述,可以将第一连接器端子21设置成具有插座型阴性连接器引脚的形式,并且可以将第二连接器端子31设置成具有可以被插入到阴性连接器引脚中的杆型阳性连接器引脚的形状。
然后,使用压接工艺来一体地挤压第一连接器端子21和第二连接器端子31。如图8所示,可以以如下方式执行所述压接工艺:挤压夹具按压第一连接器端子21和第二连接器端子31的被连接的区域。根据所述压接工艺,主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b彼此牢固地固定,使得即使对主FPCB 20和子FPCB 30a、30b施加一定程度的张力,主FPCB 20和子FPCB30a,30b也不容易断开。
根据如上所述的制造FPCB组件10的方法,能够减少在制造FPCB组件之后废弃的废料量,从而降低材料成本。另外,可以通过选择性地组合具有简单形状的多个FPCB来简单地制造具有I形、T形、E形、F形等用于电池模块的FPCB组件。
同时,根据本公开的电池模块可以被构造成包括上述FPCB组件10。FPCB组件10可以用于感测电池模块中所包括的电池单体的电压。除了FPCB组件10之外,所述电池模块还可以包括:单元堆100,其通过堆叠多个袋型电池单体而形成;ICB 110、120,其用于电连接电池单体;模块壳体(未示出),其用于容纳电池单体;以及其它控制装置,诸如保险丝、继电器和用于基于电池单体的电压和温度来控制电池单体的充电/放电和电流流动的BMS。
已经详细地描述了本公开。然而,应该理解的是,详细描述和具体实例虽然指示本公开的优选的实施方式,但是仅通过图示被给出,因为根据此详细描述,在本公开的范围内的各种变化和修改对本领域的技术人员而言将变得显而易见。

Claims (9)
1.一种用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板(FPCB)组件,其包括具有绝缘性和挠性的膜以及以预定形式布置在所述膜内部的导体图案,并且传输电信号,所述挠性印刷电路板组件包括:
主挠性印刷电路板,所述主挠性印刷电路板被构造成在一个方向上延伸;和
子挠性印刷电路板,所述子挠性印刷电路板被组装到所述主挠性印刷电路板的至少一侧,并且被构造成在与所述主挠性印刷电路板不同的方向上延伸,
其中,所述主挠性印刷电路板包括第一连接器端子,所述第一连接器端子被设置到所述主挠性印刷电路板的至少一侧,并且所述子挠性印刷电路板包括第二连接器端子,所述第二连接器端子被设置到被组装于所述主挠性印刷电路板的一部分,并且被装配到所述第一连接器端子中,
其中,每个所述第一连接器端子均被设置成具有插座型阴性连接器引脚的形状,并且每个所述第二连接器端子均被设置成具有被插入到所述阴性连接器引脚中的阳性连接器引脚的形状,所述阴性连接器引脚和所述阳性连接器引脚在彼此连接的状态下被挤压。
2.根据权利要求1所述的用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件,
其中,位于所述主挠性印刷电路板的设置有所述第一连接器端子的区域中的所述膜被形成为凹形,而位于所述子挠性印刷电路板的设置有所述第二连接器端子的区域中的所述膜被形成为凸形。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件,
其中,所述主挠性印刷电路板包括单个挠性印刷电路板,并且所述子挠性印刷电路板包括至少一个挠性印刷电路板,并且
其中,所述子挠性印刷电路板与所述主挠性印刷电路板组装在一起。
4.根据权利要求3所述的用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件,
其中,所述子挠性印刷电路板包括第一子挠性印刷电路板和第二子挠性印刷电路板,并且
其中,所述第一子挠性印刷电路板和所述第二子挠性印刷电路板被分别组装到所述主挠性印刷电路板的一个纵向端和另一纵向端,并且设置成在与所述主挠性印刷电路板相交的方向上延伸。
5.根据权利要求4所述的用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件,
其中,至少一个电压感测端子被附接到所述第一子挠性印刷电路板和第二子挠性印刷电路板中的每一个,并且至少一个温度传感器被附接到所述主挠性印刷电路板。
6.一种制造根据权利要求1所述的用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件的方法,所述方法包括:
挠性印刷电路板部件制备步骤,在所述挠性印刷电路板部件制备步骤中,分别从预先设计有多个所述主挠性印刷电路板的第一挠性印刷电路板片和预先设计有多个所述子挠性印刷电路板的第二挠性印刷电路板片中分离出所述主挠性印刷电路板和所述子挠性印刷电路板;以及
挠性印刷电路板组装步骤,在所述挠性印刷电路板组装步骤中,通过将设置到所述主挠性印刷电路板的至少一侧的第一连接器端子和设置到所述子挠性印刷电路板的至少一侧的第二连接器端子彼此连接,从而将所述主挠性印刷电路板和所述子挠性印刷电路板彼此组装。
7.根据权利要求6所述的制造用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件的方法,
其中,每个所述第一连接器端子均被设置成具有插座型阴性连接器引脚的形状,并且每个所述第二连接器端子均被设置成具有被插入到所述阴性连接器引脚中的阳性连接器引脚的形状。
8.根据权利要求7所述的制造用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件的方法,
其中,在彼此连接所述阴性连接器引脚和所述阳性连接器引脚之后,通过压接工艺来挤压所述阴性连接器引脚和所述阳性连接器引脚。
9.一种电池模块,包括根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的用于电池模块的挠性印刷电路板组件。
