Description

技术领域
本发明涉及一种具有创新特征的盒式密封装置,其允许改进已经进入密封装置内部的污染物从密封装置排出。这种密封装置被应用于轴承单元。本发明特别地、但不排他地适用于机动车辆的车轮轮毂组件,所述车轮轮毂组件设置有轴承单元。更具体地,根据本发明的轴承单元是其中轴承的外圈是静止的而轴承的内圈能够旋转的轴承单元。本发明有利地、但不排他地应用于具有双列球的轴承单元。
背景技术
众所周知,轴承单元通常暴露于各种类型的污染物(例如,泥(/泥浆/泥土)、灰尘和悬浮颗粒物和/或溶液中的颗粒)。因此,轴承单元(包括机动车辆用的车轮轮毂组件的那些成形部件)需要设置有合适的密封装置。
根据现有技术的密封装置是具有两部分的盒式密封件,其包括安装在径向内圈上的旋转部分和安装在径向外圈上的静止部分。根据所述现有技术,密封件的静止部分包括由弹性材料制成的一个或多个唇,所述一个或多个唇与旋转部分接触并确保相对于所述轴承单元的内部的密封作用。

发明内容

图3和图4示出了本发明的第二实施方式。从图4中可以看出,第二非接触唇54由实体部分54'和空隙54"的交替序列形成,如此以与图2a和图2b的实施方式大致相同的方式执行双重功能(第二非接触唇54的部分54'的迷宫式密封功能以及其余部分54”的排出功能)。每个实体部分54'和每个空隙54”的角度延伸范围可能被包括在20°与30°之间,其中下限取决于当前的模制技术。因此,实体部分和对应的空隙的数量将在九个与六个之间。显然,利用本发明的该第二实施方式,不需要将密封装置的静止组件70定向安装在径向外圈31上。
总而言之,该方案根据机动车辆的应用以最佳方式定义,并且由于改善了现场(inthe field)的密封性能而确保了较高的效率,避免了由于泥的积聚而导致的噪声相关问题。显然,确保了在潮湿和/或泥泞的路面上也具有较好的性能。

7.根据权利要求6所述的密封装置(50),其特征在于,所述多个空隙(54")的数量等于九,并且每个空隙(54")的角度延伸范围等于20°。
8.根据权利要求6所述的密封装置(50),其特征在于,所述多个空隙(54")的数量等于六个,并且每个空隙(54")的角度延伸范围等于30°。
9.一种轴承单元(30),设置有根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的密封装置(50)。
10.一种用于机动车辆的车轮轮毂组件(10),所述车轮轮毂组件(10)包括轮毂(20)和根据权利要求9所述的轴承单元(30)。
