Abstract

L'invention concerne un palier à roulement comprenant un organe extérieur (1), un organe intérieur (2) et des corps roulants (3) disposés dans un espace de roulement formé entre lesdits organes pour permettre leur rotation relative, ledit palier étant équipé d'un dispositif d'étanchéité comprenant une armature (6) présentant un alésage (8) qui est emmanché autour d'une portée annulaire axiale (9) d'un desdits organes, ladite armature présentant un couronne intérieure (15) qui est pourvue de pattes (14) réparties angulairement, chacune desdites pattes présentant une extrémité distale (14a) définissant entre elles un diamètre inscrit dans lequel est formé l'alésage (8), lesdites pattes étant agencées pour être déformables radialement entre un état stable dans lequel le diamètre inscrit est inférieur au diamètre extérieur de la portée annulaire axiale (9) et un état contraint par emmanchement sur ladite portée dans lequel les extrémités distales (14a) exercent un effort de blocage axial de ladite armature sur ladite portée.
