Abstract

Description

本发明涉及这样一种彩色显像管,它的荫罩固定在边框上,而边框则悬挂吊在发光屏上,特别涉及一种经改进的轻型荫罩框架组件。
随着彩色显像管体积的增加,显像管各元件的体积和重量也相应增加。其中一个元件是荫罩框架组件。目前的彩色显像管用钢框架在显像管的屏面面板内将荫罩支撑起来。其中的一种类型的框架由在各端弯折焊接起来的连续几段L字形钢条制成。另一种框架则是将扁平钢板冲压成框架的形状制成。一般说来,显像管的框架由厚约为1.00毫米(0.039英寸)至1.51毫米(0.062英寸)的材料制成。框架通常呈矩形,用三个或四个固定在框架边上的弹簧在屏面面板内支撑起来,或者,框架也可以在其四角支撑起来。1988年2月2日颁发给Sone等人的美国专利4,723,088和1988年3月1日颁发给Sone等人的美国专利4,728,853都介绍了这种四角支撑的实施例。
由于传统的荫罩框架组件相当重,因此如果无需使用支撑框架就可以减轻显像管的总重量。本发明提供一种采用轻框架的荫罩框架组件。
本发明经改进的彩色显像管,其真空玻壳有一个矩形的屏面面板。面板的内表面上有一个观看屏,面板内装有荫罩框架。荫罩框架组件的边框上固定有一个荫罩。改进之处包括给框架装设围绕荫罩的周边延伸的箱形包壳。框架材料的厚度与荫罩材料大致相同。

图1示出了矩形彩色显像管8,显像管的玻壳10有一个矩形的屏面面板12和一个管形管颈14,两者用矩形玻锥16连接起来。面板12有一个观看屏面18和一个周边凸缘或侧壁20,侧壁20密封到玻锥16上。镶嵌三色荧光屏22安置在屏面18的内表面上。荧光屏最好是条形屏,其平行的荧光条垂直延伸。不然荧光屏也可以是点式屏。多孔选色电极或荫罩24固定在周边框架25上,周边框架25可拆卸地装设着,与荧光屏22间隔预定的距离。电子枪25装在管颈14的中心,它沿通通荫罩24的会聚通路将三束电子束引到荧光屏22上。
图1的显像管是准备与设在玻锥/管颈交界处的外电磁偏转线圈28配用而设计的。受激时,偏转线圈28使三束电子束受到磁场的作用,促使电子束以矩形光栅的形式水平和垂直扫描整个荧光屏22的表面。
图2和图3更详细地示出了框架25的情况,框架25由两个截面呈L字形、焊接在一起形成箱形结构的元件30和31制成。两元件30和31的材料其厚度与荫罩材料大致相同,例如0.229毫米(0.009英寸)。这远比现有技术约1.51毫米(0.062英寸)厚的框架薄得多。因此,框架25比传统的现有技术的框架轻得多。
图4中更详细地示出了荫罩24,该荫罩有一个多孔轮廓部分27,周边环绕有侧缘32。荫罩固定到框架25上,框架25则借助于位于荫罩四角或沿其四边配置的支撑件装设在屏面面板12内。
虽然本发明的第一最佳施例展示的是由两上L字形元件构成的框架,但框架的周边箱形结构并非要矩形不可,它可由不同形状的各部分构成。例如,图5示出的荫罩框架组件36,其框架38由两个形成三角形箱式结构的元件40和42构成。在此情况下,框架38相应的凸缘47上固定有从荫罩46向外延伸的凸缘44。在图6所示的另一个实施例中,荫罩构架组件48的框架50则由形成矩形截面的单个元件构成。
按本发明制造的荫罩和框架其所使用的材料极少,比传统结构的组件更轻。这不仅降低制造成本,提高热性能,而且还减少了长期工作过程中的翘曲现象。框架的材料较薄,更容易加工,但荫罩和支撑件的成品仍然结实得足以承受机械冲击和振动。

Claims (4)

1、一种彩色显像管,其真空玻壳(10)有一个矩形的屏面面板(12),所述面板的内表面有一个观看屏(22),所述面板内装有一个荫罩构架组件(24,25,;36,48),所述荫罩构架组件有一个荫罩(24;46)固定到周边框架(25;38;50)上;所述彩色显像管的特征在于,所述框架(25;38;50)围绕所述荫罩(24;46)的周边形成箱形包壳,且所述框架大致上与所述荫罩一样厚。
2、如权利要求1所述的显像管,其特征在于,所述构架(25)由两个截面呈L字形且焊接在一起形成箱形结构的元件(30,31)构成。
3、如权利要求1所述的显像管,其特征在于,所述构架(38)由两个形成截面呈三角形的箱形结构的元件(40,42)构成。
4、如权利要求1所述的显像管,其特征在于,所述框架(50)由变折成截面呈矩形的箱形结构的单个元件构成。
