Background
The new Nebrennentia spp is a kind of monozoites parasitizing on the body surface of marine fishes, belonging to the phylum Platyhelminthes, Monozoites, Chamber (Capsaladae) and Bennedenidae (Bennedeineae). The new Dendrolimus punctatus is widely distributed, has low specificity to hosts, and can parasitize more than 100 kinds of seawater fishes. The insect parasitizes on the body surface, fins, eyeballs, gill filaments and other parts of the fish, damages mucus layers and epithelial tissues of the fish, absorbs a large amount of host blood, swallows host epidermal cells, causes damage and ulceration of the fish surface, dyspnea, anemia, ulceration of the eyeballs and even blindness, often causes secondary bacterial infection and death, and causes huge loss to the mariculture industry. The main treatments used are fresh water and chemical insecticide treatments. However, the freshwater treatment consumes huge manpower and material resources, does not kill the ova and the larvae in the cage culture water area, and cannot radically cure the ova and the larvae; the pesticide has the problems of drug residue, large toxic and side effect, easy secondary pollution and the like. Therefore, the development of a safe and efficient product for preventing and treating the new benidiasis is urgently needed. The Chinese herbal medicine is a green natural medicine, has the advantages of small toxic and side effects, multiple components, multiple targets and multiple effects, easy degradation, no residue, no pollution and the like, can improve the disease resistance of the fish body after being taken orally, and has the prospect of developing a safe and efficient green fishing medicine.
