Abstract
The invention provides antibacterial and deodorant cat litter which comprises the following materials in parts by weight: 15-30% of pea fiber, 10-20% of soybean fiber, 10-25% of corn starch, 10-20% of sweet potato residue, 2-6% of tea residue, 5-10% of corn straw powder, 1-5% of adhesive, 1-3% of decomposing agent and 2-8% of antibacterial deodorant. The antibacterial and deodorant cat litter prepared by the invention mainly adopts plant raw materials, is low in cost and wide in source, can obviously improve the deodorization performance of cat litter and the human living environment of cat breeders by adding sodium diacetate, ferrous sulfate, zinc acetate and urease inhibitor, is simple in process and low in requirement on equipment, and can be produced industrially.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of pet cleaning products, in particular to antibacterial and deodorant cat litter and a preparation method thereof.
Background
With the improvement of living standard and the change of living state of people, more and more people breed pets, wherein the number of people who breed cats is less, the cats bring joy and warmth to people, meanwhile, the excrement of the cats brings trouble to people, the odor is bad and pollutes the environment, even though the current cat breeding people use cat litter, the deodorization performance of the cat litter on the market at present is achieved by the taste masking of essence, the deodorization performance is not lasting, and the odor of the essence mixed with excrement is also bad.
At present, a lot of patents and reports related to plant deodorizers, microbial deodorizers and other natural plant cat litters exist, and considering that most of the existing cat litter manufacturers fall behind equipment and have a high-temperature drying stage in the process, the heat resistance and the cost control of the plant deodorizers, the microbial deodorizers and the natural plant cat litters need to be testified, and the conditions of mass production are not met. Therefore, there is a need for cat litter that is low in cost, excellent in performance, and excellent in deodorizing effect, and can be mass-produced.

Further, the adhesive comprises one or more of guar gum, locust bean gum and sodium carboxymethyl starch.
Further, the decomposing agent comprises one or more of sodium carboxymethyl starch and polyvinylpyrrolidone.
Further, the antibacterial deodorant comprises one or more of sodium diacetate, ferrous sulfate, zinc acetate, zeolite powder and urease inhibitor.
Further, the urease inhibitor is acetohydroxamic acid, and the added weight part ratio is 0.01-0.1% of the total cat litter amount.
The preparation method of the cat litter comprises the following steps:
all the components are crushed and sieved by a 30-60-mesh sieve, the components are weighed according to the formula proportion, water is added to adjust the water content to 18% -25%, the mixture is uniformly mixed, and then the mixture enters a ring die granulator for granulation, and then the drying process is carried out, and screening is carried out after drying to obtain the bacteriostatic and deodorant cat litter.
Further, the drying process is divided into three stages, namely a first stage, a second stage and a third stage; the drying temperature of the first stage is 115-125 ℃, and the drying time is 3-5 min; the temperature of the second stage is 95-100 ℃, the time is 3-5min, the temperature of the third stage is 70-80 ℃, the time is 5-10min, and moisture is discharged by a fan in the whole drying process.
The invention has the advantages that: the bacteriostatic and deodorant cat litter adopts plant raw materials, mostly leftovers, pea fibers, soybean fibers and the like, has extremely strong water absorption, the prepared cat litter has good water absorption, the added plant binder enables the cat litter to be well agglomerated, and the bacteriostatic and deodorant agent can adsorb odor molecules and inhibit the fermentation and decomposition of excrement, so that the cat litter can be continuously deodorized.

screening all the components with a 40-mesh sieve, weighing according to a formula proportion, adding water to adjust the water content to 20%, uniformly mixing, granulating in a ring die granulator, drying, and screening to obtain the antibacterial and deodorant cat litter;
further, the drying process is characterized in that the drying process is divided into three stages, wherein the drying temperature of the first stage is 125 ℃, the drying time is 3 minutes, and the drying temperature of the second stage is 100 ℃. The time is 5 minutes, the temperature in the third stage is 75 ℃, the duration time is 10 minutes, and the moisture is discharged by a fan in the whole drying process.

25% of pea fiber, 15% of soybean fiber, 15% of corn starch, 20% of sweet potato residue, 6% of tea residue, 5% of corn straw powder, 5% of locust bean gum, 2% of sodium carboxymethyl starch, 0.4% of sodium diacetate, 2% of ferrous sulfate, 1% of zinc acetate, 3.5% of zeolite powder and 0.1% of acetohydroxamic acid.
The preparation method of the cat litter comprises the following steps:
sieving all the components with a 50-mesh sieve, weighing according to the formula proportion, adding water to adjust the water content to 22%, uniformly mixing, granulating in a ring die granulator, drying, and sieving to obtain the antibacterial and deodorant cat litter;
further, the drying process is characterized in that the drying process is divided into three stages, wherein the drying temperature of the first stage is 120 ℃, the drying time is 4 minutes, and the drying temperature of the second stage is 100 ℃. The time is 5 minutes, the temperature in the third stage is 80 ℃, the duration time is 8 minutes, and the moisture is discharged by a fan in the whole drying process.
Example 3

Wherein the water absorption capacity is the mass ratio of the water absorbed by the cat litter to the mass of the cat litter per se;
the agglomeration strength is that the agglomerated cat litter blocks freely fall from the height of 20cm, and the mass of the crushed cat litter particles is less than 5% of the mass of the cat litter blocks, namely the cat litter blocks are qualified, otherwise the cat litter blocks are unqualified;
the deodorization rate is that the cat litter is actually tried on cats, the trial time is 3 days, sensory evaluation scoring is carried out according to 6-grade expression of the odor intensity of Japan environmental province every morning, and the deodorization rate is (5-scoring average value)/5 x 100%.

3. The litter of claim 1 wherein said disintegrators comprise one or more of sodium starch glycolate and polyvinylpyrrolidone.
4. The cat litter of claim 1, wherein the bacteriostatic deodorant comprises one or more of sodium diacetate, ferrous sulfate, zinc acetate, zeolite powder, and urease inhibitor.
5. The cat litter of claim 4 wherein the urease inhibitor is acetohydroxamic acid added in a weight ratio of 0.01% to 0.1% of the total cat litter.
6. The method of making the litter of claims 1-5 comprising the steps of: all the components are crushed and sieved by a 30-60-mesh sieve, the components are weighed according to the formula proportion, water is added to adjust the water content to 18% -25%, the mixture is uniformly mixed, and then the mixture enters a ring die granulator for granulation, and then the drying process is carried out, and screening is carried out after drying to obtain the bacteriostatic and deodorant cat litter.
