The cat litter is used as padding for burying excrement and urine in the cat, has certain water absorption and deodorization functions, and is a common necessary product for raising pet families. At present, organic cat litter and inorganic cat litter are classified according to chemical properties; dividing the raw materials into mineral soil cat litter, crystal cat litter, plant cat litter and the like; the cat litter is classified into clumped cat litter and non-clumped cat litter according to the effect of use.
The traditional cat litter in the market at present is bentonite cat litter and is characterized by good caking property and less dust; the disadvantages are heavy weight, difficult degradation and inconvenient cleaning; contains artificial aromatic, which is harmful to the respiratory system of pets; the mineral soil is used as a raw material, so that the environment is damaged to a certain extent.
The crystal cat litter is strong in water absorption and deodorization performance, belongs to non-caking cat litter, is inconvenient to clean, is high in price, cannot be recycled after being used, and has a certain damage effect on the environment.
The plant cat litter popular in the market at present mainly comprises paper scrap cat litter, pine cat litter, straw cat litter and bean curd cat litter. The paper scrap cat litter is coated with the powder adhesive layer on the outside, so that powder removal is easily caused, the indoor environment is polluted, and a certain damage effect is realized on the respiratory system of the pet. Pine cat litter and straw cat litter belong to the type that the cat is difficult for accepting, consequently can lead to the cat to take place everywhere the condition of stool and urine on the contrary. Wherein, the part of pine cat litter can be added with components harmful to the cat such as artificial essential oil, thereby causing the liver damage or respiratory tract infection of the cat. However, traditional bean curd cat litter needs to be available through drying process after passing through the granulator, and this type of production mode causes energy consumption to be great.
