Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the principle of motivating a video advertisement is: the user obtains the reward after watching the video for a dozen seconds, so that the user is relieved from disturbance to a great extent, and the user can obtain the reward free of charge. For the user, a reward may be obtained; for developers, revenue may be realized for the change; for advertisers, high conversion rates can be achieved.
In this application, the reward that the user obtains by playing the target incentive video information includes obtaining the target payment chapter returned by the network device so that the user can read the target payment chapter free of charge.
According to one aspect of the present application, a method for providing motivational video information in a reading application is provided. In some embodiments, the method is implemented based on the system shown in fig. 1. For example, the network device receives the play completion event information about the target incentive video information sent by one or more user devices, and returns corresponding target payment chapters to the one or more user devices. The user equipment includes but is not limited to a mobile phone, a tablet, a notebook computer and other computing equipment.
Referring to fig. 2, the method includes the steps of:
the method comprises the steps that a user device responds to the exit reading operation of a user in a reading application, and an inquiry window for judging whether to watch an incentive video or not is presented in an interface of the reading application; responding to the confirmation operation of the user in the query window, and playing corresponding target incentive video information in the interface of the reading application; when the playing task corresponding to the target incentive video information is finished, sending playing completion event information of the target incentive video information to corresponding network equipment;
the network equipment receives the playing completion event information and returns a corresponding target payment chapter to the user equipment based on the playing completion event information;
and the user equipment receives the target payment section and presents the target payment section content in an interface of the reading application.
Fig. 3 shows a method at a user equipment side for providing motivational video information in a reading application according to an aspect of the present application, the method comprising steps S101 and S102.
Specifically, in step S101, in response to the user exiting the reading operation in the reading application of the user device, the user device presents an inquiry window of whether to view the motivational video in the interface of the reading application. In some embodiments, the exit from the reading operation includes, but is not limited to, the user clicking a return key in the reading application (e.g., a return key is provided in the reading application, and clicking the return key can return to the main interface or the previous interface of the reading application). For example, a reading application is installed in the user equipment, a user reads an electronic book such as a novel through the reading application, the user reads the novel a through the reading application currently, a return key is arranged in an interface for presenting the novel a through the reading application, and the user can quit reading the novel a by clicking the return key.
In step S102, the user equipment plays the corresponding target-incentive video information in the interface of the reading application in response to the confirmation operation of the user in the query window. For example, by presenting inquiry information (for example, "watch incentive video, unlock payment chapter") whether to watch incentive video in the inquiry window, two keys of "yes" and "no" are provided in the inquiry window, and the user can perform a confirmation operation by clicking the "yes" key. The user device plays the target-incentive video information in the interface of the reading application in response to a confirmation operation by the user. In this embodiment, before the target incentive video information is played, the user is asked in an inquiry window whether to watch the incentive video to unlock the payment chapter, so as to avoid the user from feeling the contrary by directly playing the target incentive video information in the interface of the reading application, thereby avoiding the incentive video from causing a reverse effect, and after the user confirms, the target incentive video information is played in the interface of the reading application.
For example, a reading application is installed in a user device of a user, and the user reads the target novel a through the reading application. A return key is arranged in an interface presenting the target novel A in the reading application, and a user can return to the last operation interface (for example, an application main interface or a bookshelf interface) by clicking the return key. The user equipment detects the reading quitting operation of a user clicking the return key, if the reading quitting operation is detected, an inquiry window pops up in an interface of the reading application, inquiry information 'watching an incentive video and unlocking a payment chapter' is presented through the inquiry window, a 'yes' key and a 'no' key are arranged in the inquiry window, the user equipment detects the confirmation operation of the user clicking the 'yes' key, and if the user equipment detects the confirmation operation, corresponding target incentive video information (such as the target incentive video information corresponding to the inquiry information) is played in the interface of the reading application, so that the purpose that the user unlocks the payment chapter in the target novel A by watching the target incentive video information is achieved. In the embodiment, the user equipment pops up an inquiry window for judging whether to watch the motivational video by detecting the quit reading operation of the user in the reading application, and plays the target motivational video information in the interface of the reading application in response to the confirmation operation of the user in the inquiry window. The target stimulates the playing of the video information, and on one hand, can unlock the payment chapters for the user; another aspect may be to implement revenue for the developer of the reading application (e.g., the owner of the reading application); high conversion rates may also be achieved for advertisers. In addition, for the reading application, in most cases, the user may quit reading because the currently read chapter needs to be paid, so that the target motivational video information is selected to be played when the user quits reading, and the user loss caused by the need of paying can be avoided. Of course, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the reason why the user quits reading is not limited to paying for the novel chapters, and in some embodiments, the user may want to quit reading for other reasons.
In some embodiments, the step S101 includes: the method comprises the steps that the user equipment responds to the reading exit operation of a user in the reading application of the user equipment, and application log information of the reading application is obtained; the user equipment presents an inquiry window for judging whether to watch the incentive video in an interface of the reading application based on the access triggering operation of the user to the payment section in the application log information of the reading application. In some embodiments, the application log information of the reading application records operation information of the user on the reading application, for example, the operation information includes, but is not limited to, an access trigger operation of the user on a payment section. In some embodiments, the access trigger operation includes, but is not limited to, an operation by which the user enters a paid section by turning a page. In this embodiment, based on the user's access to the pay section triggering operation (e.g., the user has read the pay section), the user device presents an inquiry window in the interface of the reading application whether to view the motivational video in response to the user exiting the reading operation in the reading application. For example, when a user reads a paid chapter, the user needs to pay to read the paid chapter, the user performs reading quitting operation in the reading application, and the user equipment presents an inquiry window for judging whether to watch an incentive video in an interface of the reading application based on the reading quitting operation of the user on the paid chapter, so that the paid chapter is unlocked for the user by playing target incentive video information, the user is encouraged to continue reading, and the reading experience is improved. In some embodiments, the user device obtains an access trigger operation of the user to the payment section by obtaining application log information of the reading application, so as to present a query window in an interface of the reading application based on the access trigger operation. Of course, those skilled in the art should understand that the above-mentioned operation of obtaining the user's access trigger operation to the payment section by using the log information is only an example, and other existing or future operations, such as those that may occur in the present application, are also included in the scope of the present application and are included by reference.
For example, the user reads the target novel a through the reading application, and in the target novel a, the second chapter is the paid chapter, and after the user finishes reading the first chapter, the user starts to enter the paid chapter (for example, the second chapter of the target novel a). The application log information of the reading application records an access triggering operation of the user to the payment section, for example, after the user enters the payment section, a payment inlet is presented in a reading interface in a banner form, and if the user wants to continue reading, the user needs to pay by clicking the banner; if the user does not want to pay, the user will perform the reading quitting operation in the reading application. At this time, in response to the user's exit from the reading operation, the user device presents, in the interface of the reading application, an inquiry window of whether to view an incentive video, through which the user is inquired whether to unlock a paid chapter (e.g., the second chapter of the target novel a) by viewing the incentive video. In the embodiment, based on the access triggering operation of the user to the payment section recorded in the application log information of the reading application, in response to the quitting reading operation of the user, an inquiry window pops up in the interface of the reading application, so that the user is encouraged to continue reading by exciting the video under the condition that the user needs to pay, the user is prevented from quitting reading due to the need of payment, and the retention rate of the user is improved.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S103 (not shown), in step S103, when the playing task corresponding to the target incentive video information is completed, the user equipment sends playing completion event information of the target incentive video information to a corresponding network device, and receives a target payment chapter corresponding to the access trigger operation, returned by the network device based on the playing completion event information; and presenting the target payment chapter content in an interface of the reading application. In some embodiments, the target pay section is provided to the user by playing the target incentive video information in the user device. For example, by sending the network device with event information about the completion of the playing of the target incentive video information, which is currently played completely, to the network device, the corresponding target payment chapter may be returned to the user device so that the user can continue reading. For example, the user equipment detects playing information of the target incentive video information in the user equipment, and after the target incentive video information is played in the user equipment, the user equipment sends playing completion event information about the target incentive video information to a corresponding network equipment (for example, a server corresponding to the reading application) to request the network equipment to return a target payment chapter to the user equipment based on the playing completion event information. In some embodiments, the access trigger operation (e.g., a page-turning operation for the user to read the payment section) of the payment section recorded in the log information is applied, and the target payment section returned to the user device by the network device corresponds to the access trigger operation.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S104 (not shown), in which step S104 the user device sends an incentive video acquisition request to the corresponding network device. In some embodiments, the target excitation video information played in the user equipment is acquired from the network equipment side by the user equipment sending an excitation video acquisition request to the network equipment. For example, the target incentive video information is cached in the user equipment in advance before playing, when the user equipment detects that the user exits reading operation in a reading application, an inquiry window pops up, and after the user confirms, the cached target incentive video information is directly played; for another example, the target incentive video information is acquired from a network device in real time before being played, when the user device detects that the user exits from a reading operation in a reading application, an incentive video acquisition request is sent to the network device, and the network device returns the target incentive video information to the user device based on the incentive video acquisition request.
In some embodiments, the step S101 includes: the method comprises the steps that a user device responds to the reading quitting operation of a user in a reading application of the user device, if application log information of the reading application comprises the access triggering operation of the user on a payment chapter, an incentive video obtaining request is sent to a corresponding network device, and inquiry information whether to watch an incentive video or not and corresponding target incentive video information, which are returned by the network device based on the incentive video obtaining request, are received; presenting the inquiry information of whether to watch the incentive video or not in the interface of the reading application through an inquiry window, and caching the target incentive video information; wherein the step S102 includes: and the user equipment responds to the confirmation operation of the user in the inquiry window, and plays the target incentive video information cached in the user equipment in the interface of the reading application. In some embodiments, the target incentive video information is obtained from the network device in advance based on an incentive video obtaining request sent by the user device and is cached in the user device, and after the user performs a confirmation operation in the inquiry window, the cached target incentive video information is played. For example, the user device sends an incentive video acquisition request to a network device when detecting that the user exits from a reading operation in a reading application, and the network device returns inquiry information and target incentive video information to the user device in response to the incentive video acquisition request sent by the user device. The user equipment receives the inquiry information and the target incentive video information, presents the inquiry information through an inquiry window, and plays the target incentive video information in an interface of the reading application after the user performs confirmation operation in the inquiry window. In some embodiments, caching the target incentive video information in advance can ensure smooth playing of the target incentive video information, thereby avoiding poor user experience caused by the playing problem of the target incentive video information. Here, as will be understood by those skilled in the art, the incentive video is currently available in the incentive video advertisement inventory, and the network device may obtain the target incentive video information from the incentive video advertisement inventory based on the incentive video obtaining request.
In some embodiments, the step S102 includes: the user equipment responds to the confirmation operation of the user in the inquiry window, sends an excitation video acquisition request to the corresponding network equipment, and receives corresponding target excitation video information returned by the network equipment based on the excitation video acquisition request; and playing the target incentive video information in the interface of the reading application. In some embodiments, the target incentive video information is obtained in real time from the network device based on an incentive video obtaining request sent by the user device. For example, the user device pops up a query window in the interface of the reading application, and queries whether the user would like to unlock the payment chapter by viewing the incentive video, wherein a confirmation button is arranged in the query window, and the user performs a confirmation operation by clicking the confirmation button. The user equipment sends an incentive video acquisition request to the network equipment in response to the confirmation operation so as to request the network equipment to return target incentive video information. Here, as will be understood by those skilled in the art, the incentive video is currently available in the incentive video advertisement inventory, and the network device may obtain the target incentive video information from the incentive video advertisement inventory based on the incentive video obtaining request.
In some embodiments, the step S101 includes: responding to the quitting reading operation of a user in a reading application of user equipment, and if application log information of the reading application comprises an access triggering operation of the user on a payment chapter and the access triggering operation meets a preset operation correlation condition, presenting an inquiry window for judging whether to watch an incentive video in an interface of the reading application; otherwise, exiting the reading application. In some embodiments, not all exit reading operations of the user in the reading application may trigger presentation of an inquiry window in the interface of the reading application whether to view the motivational video. For example, when the user quits reading because the chapter to be read is a paid chapter, the user is prompted to unlock the paid chapter free of charge by watching the incentive video, so that the problem that the user quits reading because of paying is avoided, the user experience is poor, and the user may be lost. In some embodiments, the determination of whether to pop up the inquiry window is made by detecting whether an access trigger operation of the user on the payment section meets a predetermined operation correlation condition, and if the access trigger operation does not meet the predetermined operation correlation condition, the reading application is exited in response to the user exiting the reading operation. In some embodiments, the operation-related condition includes, but is not limited to, the time interval between the access-triggering operation and the exit-reading operation being less than or equal to a predetermined operation interval threshold information. Of course, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the above-described operational dependency conditions are merely exemplary, and that other operational dependency conditions, which are currently or later become known and which may be present in the art, are also encompassed by the present disclosure and are incorporated herein by reference. For example, the access trigger operation is the adjacent operation of the exit reading operation.
In some embodiments, the operational dependency condition satisfies at least one of:
(1) the time interval between the access triggering operation and the quitting reading operation is smaller than or equal to the preset operation interval threshold information. For example, after a user turns a page to enter a pay section for a few seconds, the user device detects an access trigger operation and an exit reading operation of the user in the reading application, and if a time interval between the access trigger operation and the exit reading operation is less than or equal to preset operation interval threshold information, it can be stated that the user exits reading because the user does not want to pay to read the pay section, and therefore, in this case, the user can be inquired through the inquiry window whether the user wants to unlock the pay section by watching an incentive video, so that the user can continue reading, and user loss caused by payment is avoided. In some embodiments, the operating interval threshold information includes, but is not limited to, a time of a few seconds or minutes.
(2) The access trigger operation is the adjacent operation of the quit reading operation. In some embodiments, the user does not perform any other operation between the access triggering operation and the reading quitting operation of the pay section in the reading application, in which case the user selects to quit reading because of paying, so that in this case, the query window can be used to inquire whether the user would like to unlock the pay section by watching the incentive video, so that the user can continue reading, and the user is prevented from losing due to paying. For example, after the user turns a page to enter a pay section and finds that the section needs to be paid for reading (for example, the user is prompted to pay in a banner manner above the reading interface), a quit reading operation is performed, at this time, the quit reading operation is performed immediately after an access trigger operation, that is, the access trigger operation and the quit reading operation are adjacent operations, in this case, an operation correlation condition is also satisfied, and a presentation inquiry window may be triggered.
(3) And the reading time of the payment chapter corresponding to the access triggering operation is less than or equal to the preset reading time threshold information. For example, the user may perform the exit reading operation a few seconds after turning the page into the pay section, which may indicate that the user selected the exit reading because he/she did not want to pay to read the pay section, and a long inquiry window is also needed to inquire whether the user would like to unlock the pay section by watching the motivational video.
Of course, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the above-described operational dependency conditions are merely exemplary, and that other operational dependency conditions, which are currently or later become known and which may be present in the art, are also encompassed by the present disclosure and are incorporated herein by reference.
In some embodiments, the exit reading operation comprises any one of:
(1) the user clicks a return key in the user device. For example, a return key (the user equipment is an android system) is provided in the user equipment, and the user exits the current reading of the novel by clicking the return key.
(2) The user clicks a return key in the reading application. For example, a return key is provided in the reading application, and the user can return to the previous interface by clicking the return key, so that the current reading is exited.
(3) The user clicks a start key in the user device. For example, a start key (e.g., a home key on an android phone or an IOS phone) is set in the user equipment, and the user switches the reading application to the background by clicking the start key, so as to exit from current reading.
Of course, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the above-described exit reading operation is merely exemplary, and other existing or future exit reading operations, as applicable to the present application, are also included within the scope of the present application and are incorporated by reference herein.
Fig. 4 shows a method for providing motivational video information in a reading application at a network device according to an embodiment of the present application, which includes step S201 and step S202.
Specifically, in step S201, the network device receives play completion event information about target motivation video information sent by the user device, where the target motivation video information is played in an interface of a reading application of the user device. In step S202, the network device returns a corresponding target payment chapter to the user device based on the play completion event information.
In some embodiments, the method further includes, before step S201, step S203 (not shown), in step S203, the network device receives an incentive video obtaining request sent by the user equipment, where the incentive video obtaining request is sent by the user equipment in response to the user exiting from the reading operation in the reading application; and the network equipment returns inquiry information of whether to watch the incentive video and corresponding target incentive video information to the user equipment based on the incentive video acquisition request.
In some embodiments, the method further includes, before step S201, step S204 (not shown), in step S204, the network device receives an excitation video acquisition request sent by the user device, and returns corresponding target excitation video information to the user device based on the excitation video acquisition request, where the excitation video acquisition request is sent by the user device in response to a confirmation operation of the user in the query window.
Fig. 5 illustrates a method for providing motivational video information in a reading application, according to one embodiment of the present application, the method comprising: a user reads a book in a reading app (e.g., a reading application), reads a charge chapter (e.g., an access trigger operation for the charge chapter), and prompts whether the user is willing to pay in an interface of the reading app (e.g., a payment page is presented in the interface, and a payment button is directly provided in the payment page). If the user is willing to pay for reading, the user clicks a payment button to recharge, pay and read; if the user does not want to pay for reading, the user clicks a return key in the APP to quit reading (for example, quit reading operation), or clicks a HOME key on the user device (for example, a start key on the user device) to hang the reading APP in the background. The reading app prompts the user to view the incentive video and unlock the pay section through a pop-up box (e.g., an inquiry window), the user views the incentive video (e.g., the target incentive video information) after performing a confirmation operation in the pop-up box, and the user unlocks the N section pay section (e.g., the network device returns to the target pay section).
Fig. 6 illustrates a user device for providing motivational video information in a reading application, the device including a one-module and a two-module, according to one embodiment of the present application.
Specifically, the module is used for responding to the exit of a user in a reading application of the user equipment, and presenting an inquiry window for judging whether to watch the motivational video in an interface of the reading application.
And the second module is used for responding to the confirmation operation of the user in the inquiry window and playing the corresponding target incentive video information in the interface of the reading application.
In some embodiments, the first module and the second module are configured to obtain application log information of a reading application of a user device in response to a user exiting a reading operation in the reading application; the user equipment presents an inquiry window for judging whether to watch the incentive video in an interface of the reading application based on the access triggering operation of the user to the payment section in the application log information of the reading application.
Here, the specific implementation of the first and second modules is the same as or similar to the embodiment of the step S102, and therefore, the detailed description is omitted, and the detailed implementation is incorporated herein by reference.
In some embodiments, the user equipment further includes a third module (not shown), where the third module is configured to, when a playing task corresponding to the target incentive video information is completed, send, by the user equipment, play completion event information of the target incentive video information to a corresponding network device, and receive a target payment chapter corresponding to the access trigger operation, returned by the network device based on the play completion event information; and presenting the target payment chapter content in an interface of the reading application.
Here, the example of the specific implementation manner of the three modules is the same as or similar to the embodiment of the step S103, and therefore, the description is not repeated here, and the implementation manner is incorporated herein by reference.
In some embodiments, the device further includes a quad module (not shown), a quad module for sending the stimulus video capture request to the corresponding network device.
Here, the example of the specific implementation manner of the above-mentioned four modules is the same as or similar to the embodiment of the step S104, and therefore, the description thereof is omitted, and the detailed implementation manner of the above-mentioned four modules is incorporated herein by reference.
In some embodiments, the one-to-one module is configured to, in response to a reading exit operation of a user in a reading application of user equipment, send an incentive video acquisition request to corresponding network equipment if application log information of the reading application includes an access trigger operation of the user on a payment chapter, and receive inquiry information, returned by the network equipment based on the incentive video acquisition request, of whether to watch an incentive video and corresponding target incentive video information; presenting the inquiry information of whether to watch the incentive video or not in the interface of the reading application through an inquiry window, and caching the target incentive video information; and the second module is used for responding to the confirmation operation of the user in the inquiry window, and playing the target incentive video information cached in the user equipment in the interface of the reading application.
Here, the specific implementation of the one-module and the two-module is the same as or similar to the embodiment of the step S101 and the step S102, and therefore, the detailed description is omitted, and the specific implementation is incorporated herein by reference.
In some embodiments, the first module and the second module are configured to send an incentive video acquisition request to a corresponding network device in response to a confirmation operation of the user in the inquiry window, and receive corresponding target incentive video information returned by the network device based on the incentive video acquisition request; and playing the target incentive video information in the interface of the reading application.
Here, the specific implementation of the first and second modules is the same as or similar to the embodiment of the step S102, and therefore, the detailed description is omitted, and the detailed implementation is incorporated herein by reference.
In some embodiments, the one-to-one module is configured to, in response to a user exiting a reading operation in a reading application of a user device, present, in an interface of the reading application, an inquiry window of whether to view an incentive video if application log information of the reading application includes an access trigger operation of the user on a payment section and the access trigger operation satisfies a predetermined operation dependency condition; otherwise, exiting the reading application.
Here, the specific implementation of the above modules is the same as or similar to the embodiment of step S101, and therefore, the detailed description is omitted, and the specific implementation of the above modules is incorporated herein by reference.

Specifically, the first module is configured to receive play completion event information about target incentive video information sent by a user equipment, where the target incentive video information is played in an interface of a reading application of the user equipment. And the second module is used for returning the corresponding target payment chapter to the user equipment based on the playing completion event information.
In some embodiments, the network device further includes a second-third module (not shown) for receiving an incentive video acquisition request sent by the user device, where the incentive video acquisition request is sent by the user device in response to a quit reading operation of a user in a reading application; and the network equipment returns inquiry information of whether to watch the incentive video and corresponding target incentive video information to the user equipment based on the incentive video acquisition request.
Here, the example of the specific implementation manner of the two or three modules is the same as or similar to the embodiment of the step S203, and therefore, the description is not repeated, and the implementation manner is incorporated herein by reference.
In some embodiments, the network device further includes a second-fourth module (not shown), which is configured to receive an incentive video obtaining request sent by the user device, and return corresponding target incentive video information to the user device based on the incentive video obtaining request, where the incentive video obtaining request is sent by the user device in response to a confirmation operation of the user in the inquiry window.
Here, the example of the specific implementation manner of the two or four modules is the same as or similar to the embodiment of the step S204, and therefore, the description is not repeated here, and the implementation manner is incorporated herein by reference.
