Abstract

The invention discloses a repairing device for a liquid crystal alignment film, which comprises a cleaning component and a drying component, wherein the cleaning component comprises a liquid supply rotating part, a traveling rotating part and an alignment film cleaning conveying belt. The liquid supply rotating member and the traveling rotating member are driven to drive the alignment film cleaning conveyor belt to drive along a cleaning conveying path, so that the excess alignment film on the substrate is cleaned by the alignment film cleaning liquid contained in the alignment film cleaning conveyor belt. The drying component comprises a travelling rotating component and a residual liquid cleaning conveying belt, the travelling rotating component drives the residual liquid cleaning conveying belt to drive along the cleaning conveying path, so that residual alignment film cleaning liquid remained on the substrate is absorbed by the residual liquid cleaning conveying belt, and therefore, the region with abnormal precision on the substrate can be repaired, and the repair of the alignment film is simplified.

Technical Field

Background
In the thin film transistor, polyimide liquid film, i.e. alignment film, is formed on the glass substrate by baking and curing polyimide liquid. The polyimide film is formed by the steps of cleaning before coating polyimide film, conveying machine, rotating machine, pre-baking oven, etc. and the quality inspection is performed in the inspection machine.
In practical use, for a number of reasons, for example in terms of equipment: poor drying after the treatment of the cleaner process before the polyimide film coating, which causes the abnormal diffusion of polyimide liquid; the deviation of the landing position of the polyimide film is caused by the self-accuracy error of the machine table of the polyimide film coating machine, poor air flow management and the like; the shaking of the machine tables of the conveying machine and the rotating machine causes the polyimide liquid on the glass substrate to randomly diffuse to the periphery; in terms of product design: the diffusion rule of polyimide liquid is influenced by the structures of pixels, electrodes and the like on the glass substrate, so that the precision of the glass substrate film is difficult to control within +/-300 micrometers.
To meet higher quality requirements, the requirements for precision control of polyimide films are becoming more and more stringent. Due to the various uncertainties described above, the accuracy of polyimide films may still exceed the upper and lower limits of the specification. The pretreatment scheme for defective products is to peel off and re-coat the whole glass substrate. However, such a method results in an extended production cycle of the product and an increase in consumables (e.g., polyimide solution and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone), and may cause other problems.
The existing repairing machine can only repair the spot defects, such as mura, the defect area is generally less than 1 × 1 mm, and the defect of the polyimide film with abnormal precision can not be processed when the area can reach more than 10 × 1 mm.
Therefore, it is necessary to provide a repairing apparatus for liquid crystal alignment film to solve the problems of the prior art.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention provides a repairing apparatus for a liquid crystal alignment film and a method for repairing a liquid crystal alignment film, so as to repair an area of the liquid crystal alignment film with abnormal precision, prevent the liquid crystal alignment film with precision exceeding an upper limit from causing quality abnormality to subsequent processes such as frame coating, and reduce the occurrence rate of poor quality of peripheral mura.

Compared with the prior art, the repairing device and the repairing method for the liquid crystal alignment film can repair the area with abnormal precision, can avoid the abnormal quality of the alignment film with the precision exceeding the upper limit, such as polyimide film to the subsequent processes of frame coating glue and the like, and can reduce the occurrence of poor quality of peripheral mura and the like to a certain extent. The repairing device and the repairing method of the liquid crystal alignment film of the invention do not need to strip and re-coat the whole substrate, thereby reducing the material consumption, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone solution and polyimide solution. Because only the abnormal area is repaired, the risk of other defects caused in the whole product reworking process can be greatly reduced.

By adjusting the supply pressure of the alignment film wiping liquid, the speed (i.e., flow rate) of the alignment film wiping liquid seeping out can be controlled.
The drying member 2 includes a traveling rotary member 21 and a residual liquid cleaning conveyer belt 22, the residual liquid cleaning conveyer belt 22 surrounds the traveling rotary member 21, and the traveling rotary member 21 is driven to rotate around its axis and drives the residual liquid cleaning conveyer belt 22 to rotate.
