Background
The projection welding process of the automobile parts is used as the first process after the parts are stamped, the requirement on production tact is high, the requirement on welding quality is stable and reliable, and welding defects such as wrong welding, missing welding and the like need to be prevented. The existing manual projection welding process flow is as follows: and manually carrying the workpiece to the projection welding machine from the work bin, aligning the workpiece hole to enter the lower electrode positioning pin of the projection welding machine, manually placing the standard part or the screw, and manually placing the workpiece into the finished product work bin after the projection welding is finished. This is the mode currently in common use by most automobile parts factories. The defects caused by manual projection welding are obvious, the welding efficiency is low, the welding quality is unstable, and particularly when poor products flow into a host factory to a production loading stage, the errors can cause the whole vehicle to be scrapped and are difficult to remedy. Therefore, many automobile part manufacturing equipment manufacturers develop semi-automatic projection welding special machines or robot workstations, similar projection welding equipment basically adopts a manual feeding and discharging mode, a robot grabs a workpiece for welding, the semi-automatic state is achieved, production is assisted by operators, and production efficiency is still low.

fifthly, pressing down an upper electrode of the automatic projection welding machine to tightly press the workpiece and the standard part, and then electrifying for welding, wherein the projection welding standard part and the plate are combined into a whole under the combined action of resistance thermal effect and pressurizing force;
and sixthly, lifting the upper electrode of the automatic projection welding machine to the initial position, moving the projection-welded workpiece by the robot to the self-starting type conveying belt, and conveying the workpiece into the material box by the self-starting type conveying belt.
And further, the workpiece fine positioning material box trolley and the positioning mechanisms are respectively arranged at two sides of the robot gripper, the robot gripper can continuously grip the workpiece at the other side to the positioning mechanism of the automatic projection welding machine after putting the projection welded workpiece on the self-starting type conveying belt, and the process flows of the fourth step, the fifth step and the sixth step are repeated.
