Abstract

The composition for improving eyesight as described in comparative example 1, which does not include Yuzhu and Yuganzi, is prepared by the same method as example 3 except for the raw materials, weight parts and the like.
Comparative example 2
The composition for improving eyesight as shown in comparative example 2 comprises the same raw materials and weight parts as those of example 3, the cassia seed extract as shown in comparative example 2 is prepared by directly extracting with ethanol under reflux, and the rest steps are the same as those of example 3.
The composition with the eyesight improving effect has the following effect research:
selecting 150 patients with asthenopia symptoms, wherein the clinical symptoms comprise eye swelling, eye pain, photophobia, dry eye and the like, averagely dividing the patients into 3 groups, and taking a test group, a control group 1 and a control group 2, wherein the test group takes the composition with the eyesight improving effect of the invention, the control group 1 takes the composition with the eyesight improving effect of the comparative example 1, and the control group 2 takes the composition with the eyesight improving effect of the comparative example 2; the dietary habits and daily lives of the subjects were the same as before the subjects 2 times a day, 3g each time, during the test period, no treatment was allowed for the eyes, and the test effect was measured after two weeks, with the results shown in table 1:

As can be seen from table 1, the composition with eyesight improving effect of the present invention has good efficacy in treating eye swelling, eye soreness, photophobia and dry eye, and the effective rate can reach 86%; while the effective rate of the control group 1 (the raw materials do not contain polygonatum odoratum and emblic leafflower fruit) is obviously reduced, the highest effective rate is 32%, and the polygonatum odoratum, the emblic leafflower fruit and the other raw materials in the composition provided by the invention play a synergistic effect, so that the treatment effect is improved.
The effective rate of the contrast group 2 is slightly reduced compared with that of the test group, the contrast group 2 adopts direct ethanol reflux extraction when extracting the cassia seed extract, and the invention adopts the steps of firstly adopting petroleum ether to extract until the extract is colorless, and then adopting ethanol to extract, thus the extraction method of the cassia seed extract enhances the effect of the cassia seed on improving eyesight.

The composition with the eyesight improving effect according to claim 1, is characterized by comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 2 parts of cassia seed, 10 parts of chrysanthemum, 10 parts of medlar, 5 parts of honeysuckle, 10 parts of mulberry leaf, 10 parts of dandelion, 10 parts of polygonatum, 10 parts of emblic leafflower fruit, 10 parts of mulberry, 10 parts of blueberry powder, 0.2 part of lutein ester, 0.5 part of vitamin C, 0.5 part of vitamin E, 0.2 part of beta-carotene, 0.05 part of sodium citrate, 0.05 part of sucralose and 0.05 part of potassium sorbate.
4. The composition for improving eyesight according to claim 1, wherein the concentration of ethanol in step c is 70% to 75%.
