Abstract
The invention discloses oil absorption paper and a preparation method thereof. The oil absorption paper comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: plant fiber-based paper 100; 10-30 parts of styrene-acrylic copolymer; 0.5-3 parts of hydrophobic silica aerogel; 3-10 parts of talcum powder; 0.5-2.0 parts of dodecyl alcohol ester; 0.1-0.5 of alkyl glycoside; 0.5 of potassium sorbate; and a proper amount of essence. The method comprises the following steps: adding hydrophobic silica aerogel, talcum powder, alkyl glycoside, potassium sorbate, essence and styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion into a stirring disperser, and dispersing for 30-60 minutes for later use; then the raw materials are coated on plant fiber paper by a precise coating machine, and the plant fiber paper is dried by a drying channel with six temperature control areas of 80/100/120/150/100/80 ℃ and rolled to obtain the oil absorption paper prepared by the invention.
