Abstract

在使用一对砧杆的超声波密封技术中,其目的在于精心设计砧座的形状从而提高密封部的密封性。一种超声波密封装置的砧座(4),该超声波密封装置利用一对砧杆(3)的振动施加面(3a)和在砧座(4)的前端面形成的抵接面对层叠体进行接合。在抵接面具有左右的熔接面(10a),该熔接面(10a)向砧杆(3)侧凸出且与2个振动施加面(3a)分别相对并沿该振动施加面(3a)的延伸方向而配置。左右的熔接面(10a)分别以如下方式设定,即,越远离作为2个振动施加面(3a)的相邻侧的密封中央侧,沿着上述延伸方向的每单位长度的面积越连续或阶梯式地增大。

砧座以及超声波密封装置
技术领域
本发明是涉及用于在带状的密封位置对大于或等于2个片材体重叠得到的层叠体进行接合的超声波密封装置的技术,特别是涉及构成对液体、固态物等进行收容的纸容器的适合于以横切方式将形成为筒状的层叠包装材料封闭(超声波密封)的技术。
背景技术
液体用纸容器广泛用作对果实饮料、茶、咖啡、奶饮料、汤等液体饮料、日本酒、烧酒等酒类进行收容的简便的容器。该液体用纸容器中存在屋顶型、方砖型、或者圆筒型等形状的容器。
例如,对于方砖型形状的容器,针对在纸层的表面背面具有热可塑性树脂层的包装材料施加容器用格线,将边缘保护胶带粘贴于包装材料的端部,使该包装材料成型为筒状并对该包装材料端部彼此进行重叠粘贴,由此形成为筒状形状的包装材料。而且,在横切方向上将该筒状的包装材料的下端部接合并将下端部密封(封闭),然后,在将内容物填充至筒状的包装材料中的状态下在横切方向上对成为容器口的位置(上端部侧)进行液体中密封分割,然后使其成型为立体形状而形成为最终形态的容器形状。
针对上述筒状的包装材料的横切方向上的密封,例如利用专利文献1中记载的超声波密封装置而实施。
即,对于基于超声波密封装置的密封,利用相对的砧杆的前端面和砧座的前端面对容器的密封位置进行按压并对砧杆实施超声波振动,由此利用在包装材料界面(重叠的片材体彼此的接触面位置)产生的热使得存在于包装材料表面的热可塑性树脂熔融而进行密封。液体容器的密封状态特别重要,对于上述密封,需要能够耐受内容物的保护、搬运·下落冲击的强度。
另外,在密封长度较长等情况下,如专利文献2中记载的图10那样,使用并列的一对砧杆(变换器头部)而实现密封长度。此时,如果形成为筒状的包装材料端部的贴合部分位于一对砧杆间的间隙位置,则该贴合部分相对地增厚。因此,在专利文献2的技术中,在与砧座的上述一对砧杆间的间隙对应的位置设置有凹陷部分。

发明内容
在使用具有并列的一对砧杆的超声波密封装置的情况下,即使如专利文献2那样针对砧座而设置有凹陷部分,也呈现出如下趋势,即,一对砧杆以相对增厚的上述贴合部分为支点而向左右侧倾斜形成为“ハ”字的状态(参照图8)。这里,优选密封面压力均匀,但在一对砧杆以“ハ”字状倾斜的情况下,超声波熔接的筒状的包装材料的被熔接部(密封部)的两端部在过度加压的状态下被实施超声波熔接,因此在该两端部过度地将熔融的热可塑性树脂挤出,熔接状态有可能减弱。
本发明就是着眼于上述这一点而提出的,其目的在于在使用一对砧杆的超声波密封技术中,精心设计砧座的形状而提高密封部的密封性。
为了解决问题,本发明的一个方式是超声波密封装置的砧座,在该超声波密封装置的砧座中,分别在前端面形成有带状的振动施加面的一对砧杆设置为沿着上述振动施加面的延伸方向而排列,利用上述一对砧杆的振动施加面和在砧座的前端面形成的抵接面的熔接面部将由具有热可塑性树脂层的大于或等于2个片材体重叠而得到的层叠体夹入,利用传递至上述各振动施加面的超声波振动使设置于上述片材体的热可塑性树脂熔融,由此对该层叠体进行接合,所述超声波密封装置的砧座的特征在于,
上述熔接面部具有左右的熔接面,上述熔接面向上述砧杆侧凸出且与形成于上述一对砧杆的各振动施加面分别相对并沿该振动施加面的延伸方向而配置,上述左右的熔接面分别以如下方式设定,即,越远离上述一对砧杆的振动施加面的相邻侧即密封中央侧,沿着上述延伸方向的每单位长度的面积越连续或阶梯式地增大。
发明的效果
根据本发明的一个方式,即使一对砧杆以相对增厚的密封中央侧的贴合部分为支点而呈“ハ”字状地倾斜,与以往相比密封部的两端部侧的面压力的升高也受到抑制,在两端部熔融的热可塑性树脂的挤出量降低。其结果,密封性提高。

具体实施方式
下面,参照附图对本发明的实施方式进行说明。
如作为示意图的图1所示,超声波密封装置1具有超声波振荡器9、作为超声波振子的转换器2、一对砧杆3(图1中仅示出了1个砧杆3)以及砧座4。标号5表示对砧座4进行支撑的夹紧部件。标号6表示对一对砧杆3均进行保护的砧杆罩。
转换器2被从超声波振荡器9供给电力而产生超声波振动,将产生的振动分别传递至一对砧杆3,由此在该砧杆3的前端部产生超声波振动。
如图2所示,一对砧杆3可以是如下结构,即,在以隔开规定间隙(例如1mm的间隙)沿着密封方向并列的方式排列的状态下,支撑于1个转换器2。可以是分别支撑于单独的转换器的结构。此时,一对砧杆3分别在纵向的振幅为0(零)的正常点的位置处经由O型密封圈40而支撑于转换器2。
本实施方式是同时进行上下2条的密封的情况下的例子。即,是同时对在先的纸容器的上端开口部和后续的纸容器的部分的下端部进行密封的情况下的例子。因此,如图3所示,各砧杆3的前端部分支为二股,且2个前端面形成有2条振动施加面3a。各振动施加面3a形成为带状(或短栅状)的形状,2条振动施加面3a相互平行地延伸。此外,2条振动施加面3a在图1中沿与纸面正交的方向延伸。即,在图1中,一对砧杆3也在与纸面正交的方向上排列配置。另外,在2条振动施加面3a之间形成有槽3b。
砧座4的前端面构成朝向砧杆3侧的抵接面4A。利用形成于该抵接面4A的熔接面部10、以及形成于砧杆3的前端面的振动施加面3a,能够从厚度方向以规定的载荷将由大于或等于2个片材体重叠地形成的层叠体夹入。
即,在抵接面4A形成有分别朝向各振动施加面3a凸出的2条熔接面部10。上述各熔接面部10分别隔着重叠的片材体且与振动施加面3a相对。
在本实施方式中,如作为放大示意图的图3所示,各熔接面部10的宽度(隔着层叠体而与振动施加面3a相对的宽度)设定为比振动施加面3a的宽度短。
另外,在带状的熔接面部10的侧方具有成列的多个块状体11。该成列的多个块状体11沿着与熔接面部10的延伸方向相同的方向排列,相邻的块状体11彼此形成为非接触的状态。
多个块状体11可以分别存在于各熔接面部10的两侧,但在本实施方式中,举例示出了成列的多个块状体11配置于将2条熔接面部10夹于中间的两侧的情况。上述各块状体11设定为其高度小于熔接面部10的高度、或者块状体11的顶面与熔接面部10的前端面共面。
在图3中,举例示出了从块状体11的凸出方向(砧杆3和砧座4的夹持方向)观察而静止状态的振动施加面3a和块状体11不重叠的情况,但在静止状态的振动施加面3a和块状体11重叠的情况下,优选各块状体11的高度小于熔接面部10的高度。
如图4所示,各多个块状体11分别设定为沿着熔接面部10的延伸方向而排列。
这里,例如如图5所示,形成容器的包装材料30(片材体)在由纸构成的基材层30a的表面侧形成有外装用树脂层30b,另外,在基材层30a的背面侧按顺序形成有树脂薄膜30c、阻隔层30d以及内装用树脂层30e。作为构成外装用树脂层30b、树脂薄膜30c、内装用树脂层30e的树脂,能够举例示出聚乙烯树脂,但并不限定于此。但是,至少内装用树脂层30e由热可塑性树脂构成。阻隔层30d由蒸镀于树脂薄膜30c的蒸镀膜、铝薄板等构成,对于容器而确保与收容的内容物相应的阻隔性。
使得这种包装材料30的内装用树脂层30e侧朝向内侧,如图6所示,成型为端部彼此重叠的筒状包装材料31。该筒状包装材料31形成为长条状的筒形状。此时,将在形成上述筒状包装材料31时重叠的、包装材料30的端部31a和端部31b重叠的贴合部分记作重叠部分R。该重叠部分R沿着长条状的筒状包装材料31的轴向延伸。
如图6(b)所示,在该重叠部分R粘贴有边缘保护胶带32。边缘保护胶带32粘贴于筒状包装材料31的内表面侧。
这里,至少在密封时,筒状包装材料31如图6(b)那样形成为扁平地压扁的形状,利用砧杆3和砧座4从图6(b)中的纸面上下方向进行按压,由此在密封位置使得构成片材体的包装材料30A、30B形成为2层重叠的层叠体的状态。但是,如果在上述重叠部分R包含边缘保护胶带32,则形成为片材体4层重叠的状态。
这样,层叠数在重叠部分R较多,因此如图4所示,在与该重叠部分抵接的熔接面部10的长度方向中央侧部分形成有与该层叠相应的凹部10b。
该凹部10b成为密封中央部分。而且,2条熔接面部10分别具有从处于密封中央侧的凹部10b以沿左右方向延伸的方式配置的左右的熔接面10a。左右的熔接面10a分别以如下方式设定,即,越远离凹部10b侧(2个振动施加面3a的相邻侧即密封中央侧),沿着上述延伸方向的每单位长度的面积越连续或阶梯式地增大。
例如,左右的熔接面10a的密封面形状分别形成为随着远离上述密封中央侧而宽度连续或阶梯式地增大的形状。
在本实施方式中,如图4所示,举例示出了如下情况,即,左右的熔接面10a的密封面形状分别形成为随着远离上述密封中央侧而连续地增大的梯形形状。如图7所示,左右的熔接面10a的宽度可以阶梯状地增大(参照图7(a)),宽度方向两侧的轮廓也不限定于直线状,可以是宽度连续地增大的曲线状的轮廓(参照图7(b))。
但是,优选左右的熔接面10a与外侧的成列的块状体11之间的间隙恒定,因此在本实施方式中,通过仅使左右的熔接面10a的内侧的轮廓倾斜而将左右的熔接面10a设定为随着远离密封中央侧而连续地增大的梯形形状。通过仅使左右的熔接面10a的单侧倾斜而使得熔接面10a的设计变得容易。由此,各熔接面10a的密封面形状设计为使得多个块状体11侧的轮廓10x与该相邻的成列的多个块状体11之间的距离变为相等间隔的直线。
另外,在上述说明中,如图4那样举例示出了块状体11相对于熔接面部10的分离距离均匀地相等的情况,但并不限定于此。例如,在重叠部分R,呈现出在密封时产生的热可塑性树脂的熔融量相对增多的趋势,因此优选在该位置处将块状体11相对于熔接面部10的分离距离设定为比其他位置的分离距离A大。
另外,相邻的块状体11之间的间隙例如设定为大于或等于0.1mm而小于或等于2mm。
这是因为,如果间隙小于0.1mm,则在片材体间难以形成能使得空气泄漏的间隙,如果一个间隙超过2mm,则熔融的树脂有可能向外侧移动。
另外,在2条熔接面部10之间如图1以及图4那样配置有构成使得裁剪刀具7前进或后退的刀具狭缝15的槽。裁剪刀具7设置为能够朝向砧杆3侧前进或后退,用于将2条密封位置之间切断而使得在先和后续的纸容器分离。
(动作及其他)
图1示出了先将容器下端部封闭,在将内部填充有液体的方砖型液体用纸容器口(上端部)密封的同时将后续的容器的下端部密封之前的状态。
从该图1的状态开始利用一对砧杆3的振动施加面3a和砧座4的抵接面4A从两侧以规定的载荷将筒状包装材料31夹入,将筒状包装材料31压扁而形成为使得片材体层叠的层叠体的状态,对砧杆3的振动施加面3a实施超声波振动,由此使得内装用树脂层30e熔融而在与纸面正交的方向上将2条密封位置密封。
此时,在密封中央部配置有层叠数较多的重叠部分R的状态下,利用一对砧杆3的振动施加面3a和砧座4的熔接面部10通过规定的加压而进行夹持,因此密封中央部侧的载荷相对地增大。此时,一对砧杆3经由O型密封圈40而被支撑,因此通过该O型密封圈40的弹性变形将重叠部分R作为支点而如图8(a)那样使得一对砧杆3的姿态以转换器2侧相互分离的方式向左右侧以“ハ”字状倾斜。由此,密封两端部的载荷相对地增大。然而,左右的熔接面10a越趋向密封端部,则每单位长度的面积越大,因此压力(:力÷面积)能够相应地降低。
图8(b)中示出了在左右的熔接面10a的宽度在长度方向上恒定的情况下(实线)、以及如本申请这样左右的熔接面10a的宽度在密封端部设定为2倍的情况下(点划线),由一对砧杆3的振动施加面3a和砧座4的抵接面4A夹入时的压力分布的状态的例子。根据该图8(b)可知,通过采用本申请发明,压力分布从实线向点划线的状态变化,在密封端部侧加压的面压力降低至大约一半左右。
由此,在本实施方式中,沿着密封长度方向的面压力接近平均状态,本实施方式的密封性提高。
此外,如果密封完毕,则使裁剪刀具7凸出而将2条密封位置之间分断。由此,当前的容器的封闭完毕,并且位于上侧的后续的容器的下端部被密封。
另外,如果利用砧杆3的振动施加面3a和砧座4的抵接面4A从两侧对筒状包装材料31进行按压,则砧座4侧的包装材料30B部分变形为沿着该砧座4的抵接面4A的形状,在振动施加面3a与熔接面部10之间的密封位置,重叠的2个包装材料30A、30B变为紧贴状态,但在其侧方形成有沿着密封位置的带状的空隙部S。该空隙部S的剖面形状由块状体11相对于熔接面部10的分离距离、块状体11的高度进行规定。
此时,在多个块状体11之间存在间隙,因此上述带状的空隙部S未变为密封空间状态,在块状体11之间的位置处向外侧露出的间隙容易在2个包装材料30之间形成。
在这种状态下,如果对砧杆3的振动施加面3a实施超声波振动,则位于振动施加面3a与熔接面部10之间的热可塑性树脂熔融,由此将在位于振动施加面3a与熔接面部10之间的密封位置处层叠的筒状包装材料31密封(封闭)。
此时,在位于振动施加面3a与熔接面部10之间的热可塑性树脂过剩的情况下,利用规定的压力将熔融的热可塑性树脂的一部分从密封位置向侧方挤出。
该挤出的热可塑性树脂流入至上述带状的空隙部S,由成列的多个块状体11抑制了进一步向外侧的移动。即,挤出的热可塑性树脂的移动由成列的多个块状体11阻挡。
另外,此时,熔融的热可塑性树脂以规定的压力朝向空隙部S流入,但存在于上述空隙部S的空气从块状体11之间的间隙向外侧泄漏而进行泄压,因此空气相对于移动至上述空隙部S的熔融状态的热可塑性树脂的混入得到抑制。即,防止了因空气向熔融树脂块的混入而导致的熔融树脂块的破碎。
另外,能够使得熔融树脂块的形状形成为沿着上述空隙部S的形状。即,能够防止热可塑性树脂的形状不良。
能够利用这样排列为一列的多个块状体11对露出的热可塑性树脂的树脂块的厚度和宽度进行控制,因此即使在热可塑性树脂过度熔融的情况下,也能够抑制不规则形状的容易剥离的熔融树脂块的形成。
此时,在本实施方式中,左右的熔接面10a的梯形形状在砧座4的外侧(纸容器侧)和存在刀具狭缝15的裁剪侧的形状不同,梯形形状的纸容器侧为与刀具狭缝15平行的直线,裁剪侧为具有角度的直线。这是因为,在熔融的热可塑性树脂向砧座4的外侧(纸容器侧)挤出时,配置以不将过剩的树脂向收容的内容物引导的方式而施加的块状体等。
这里,在上述说明中,举例示出了由带状构成的左右的熔接面10a的宽度越远离凹部10b则越连续或阶梯式地增大的情况。基于本发明的实施方式并不限定于此。例如,作为左右的熔接面10a,由如下部位构成:与以往相同宽度的带状的熔接面主体10d;以及熔接面辅助部10e,其与上述熔接面主体10d分离而单独配置,沿着熔接面主体10d的侧方而配置,根据该熔接面辅助部10e的面积,上述各熔接面10a的沿着延伸方向的每单位长度的面积可以设定为越远离上述密封中央侧则越连续或阶梯式地增大。熔接面主体10d和熔接面辅助部10e的高度设为相等的高度。图9中示出了上述例子。图9是每单位长度的面积阶梯式地增大的例子。
图9是在左右的熔接面10a中的端部侧分别配置有带状的熔接面辅助部10e的例子。设置熔接面辅助部10e的辅助部形成位置的区域G,例如设为从对应的熔接面主体10d的外端起至对应的熔接面主体10d的延伸方向上的长度的2/3的范围的部分的侧方位置的区域。设置熔接面辅助部10e的位置如果处于区域G内则可以设定为靠近熔接面主体10d的端部侧,例如可以设定为从端部起至长度方向上的1/3的范围。
优选熔接面辅助部10e相对于熔接面主体10d而配置于刀具狭缝15侧。带状的熔接面辅助部10e的宽度可以是沿着长度方向的相同宽度,也可以设定为密封端部侧宽度较大。另外,熔接面辅助部10e可以如图10那样由在辅助部形成位置的区域G的区域内沿着熔接面主体10d排列的1个或者大于或等于2个凸部10f构成。即,熔接面辅助部10e也可以不连续。图10是每单位长度的面积阶梯式地增大的情况下的例子。
以上利用各实施方式对本发明进行了说明,但本发明的范围并不限定于图示记载的实施方式的示例,还包含能带来与本发明的目的等同的效果的所有实施方式。并且,本发明的范围并不限定于技术方案中记载的发明的特征的组合,由所有公开的各特征中的特定特征的所有期望的组合而划定。

Claims (5)

1.一种砧座,其是超声波密封装置的砧座,在所述超声波密封装置中,分别在前端面形成有带状的振动施加面的一对砧杆设置为沿着上述振动施加面的延伸方向而排列,利用上述一对砧杆的振动施加面和在砧座的前端面形成的抵接面的熔接面部,将由具有热可塑性树脂层的大于或等于2个片材体重叠而得到的层叠体夹入,利用传递至上述各振动施加面的超声波振动使设置于上述片材体的热可塑性树脂熔融,由此对该层叠体进行接合,
所述砧座的特征在于,
上述熔接面部具有左右的熔接面,上述熔接面向上述砧杆侧凸出且与形成于上述一对砧杆的各振动施加面分别相对并沿该振动施加面的延伸方向而配置,
上述左右的熔接面分别以如下方式设定,即,越远离上述一对砧杆的振动施加面的相邻侧的密封中央侧,沿着上述延伸方向的每单位长度的面积越连续或阶梯式地增大。
2.根据权利要求1所述的砧座,其特征在于,
上述左右的熔接面分别形成为如下形状,即,随着远离上述密封中央侧而宽度连续或阶梯式地增大。
3.根据权利要求2所述的砧座,其特征在于,
在所述超声波密封装置中,在上述一对砧杆的前端面分别具有隔开规定间隔而并列的2条振动施加面,在砧座的前端面也与上述2条振动施加面对应地具有2条熔接面部,
在上述抵接面具有在将上述2条熔接面部夹在中间的两侧分别沿着与上述熔接面部的延伸方向相同的方向排列且彼此不接触的成列的多个块状体,上述多个块状体的高度小于或等于上述熔接面的高度,
对于上述左右的各熔接面的密封面形状而言,将上述多个块状体侧的轮廓相对于该成列的相邻的多个块状体的距离设计为相等间隔。
4.根据权利要求1所述的砧座,其特征在于,
上述左右的熔接面由如下部位构成:带状的熔接面主体;以及熔接面辅助部,其配置为与上述熔接面主体分离,沿着熔接面主体的侧方而配置,根据该熔接面辅助部的面积,上述各熔接面以如下方式设定,即,越远离上述密封中央侧,沿着延伸方向的每单位长度的面积越连续或阶梯式地增大。
5.一种超声波密封装置,其通过熔接而将内部收容有液体或固态物的容器口封闭,其特征在于,
所述超声波密封装置具有权利要求1至权利要求4中任一项所述的砧座。
