Abstract

具体实施方式
根据本公开的一个方面,提供了一种电连接器。所述电连接器包括:壳体,具有宽度方向和与宽度方向垂直的安装方向;多个低速信号触头,沿宽度方向布置在壳体中;多个高速信号触头,沿宽度方向布置在壳体中;多个接地条,每个接地条设置在相邻的两个低信号触头之间;构件,具有沿宽度方向设置的本体,其中,指件从本体横向延伸。每个指件沿着安装方向与低速信号触头中的一个对准。两个或更多个高速信号触头设置在相邻的指件之间。
在一些实施方式中,本体与附接到壳体的支撑构件相关联。

如图1至图6所示,根据一个实施方式,高速电连接器100具有壳体110和设置在壳体110中的触头120。壳体110具有:配合方向102,电连接器100可沿所述配合方向与配对连接器(在图中未示出)配合,与配合方向102垂直的宽度方向104,以及与配合方向102和宽度方向104垂直的高度方向106。在壳体110中形成有隔室112的阵列,其分别地沿宽度方向104和高度方向106布置。在每个隔室112中,设置有触头120中的一个。
触头120包括低速信号触头122和高速信号触头126。电连接器100包括一个或多个接地条130和支撑构件140。每个接地条130设置在相邻的触头120之间。壳体110具有在其顶表面上形成的脊114。支撑构件140带有主要本体142和从主要本体142横向延伸的指件144。支撑构件140附接到壳体110,其中,主要本体142平行于宽度方向104布置,并且其中,每个指件144插入壳体110的相邻的脊114之间。每个指件144沿着高度方向106与位于指件144中的一个下方的低速信号触头122中的一个对准。
如图6中所示,低速信号触头122通过第一触头间距122a彼此间隔开地定位。同样,高速信号触头126通过与第一触头间距122a基本相同的第二触头间距126a彼此间隔开地定位。
支撑构件140包括沿宽度方向104的第一区段140a和第二区段140b。在第一区段140a中支撑元件140的指件144由第一指件间距144a彼此分开。在第二区段140b上支撑元件140的指件144由第二指件间距144b彼此分开。第一指件间距144a与第一触头间距122a相同。第二指件间距144b大于第二触头间距126a,例如如图6所示,第二指件间距144b是第二触头间距126a的五倍,即,在第二区段140b中相邻的指件144之间设置有四个高速触头126。利用以上述方式配置的第一和第二指件间距144a、144b,每个指件144与低速触头122中的一个对准,并且两个或更多个高速触头126设置在两个相邻的指件144之间。因此,高速触头126暴露在支撑元件140的相邻的指件144之间。指件144远离高速触头126定位,以通过减少插入损耗和改善谐振性能来实现更好的信号完整性。
电连接器100可包括附接到壳体110底侧的接触对准器160。如图3、图7、图8、图9A和图9B所示,接触对准器160一般为板状,具有在其上形成的孔162。触头120可以被包括在插入模制引线框组件(IMLA)类型中,其具有设置在隔室112中的配合部分1204,以及从壳体110向外延伸的尾部1206,用于安装到PCB 10。每个尾部1206被压配并穿通过接触对准器160的相应的孔162。由接触对准器160保持,尾部1206更好地对准定位,并且变得更强以抵抗相对于配合方向102和宽度方向104的偏转。改善了电连接器100的结构完整性和鲁棒性(robustness)。
根据另一个实施方式,如图10至图14所示,高速电连接器200具有壳体210和设置在壳体210中的触头220。电连接器200包括一个或多个接地条230。每个接地条230设置在相邻的触头220之间。壳体210具有:配合方向202,沿所述方向,电连接器200与配对连接器(图中未示出)可配合,与配合方向202垂直的宽度方向204,以及与配合方向202和宽度方向204垂直的高度方向206。在壳体200中形成有隔室212的阵列,其分别沿宽度方向204和高度方向206布置。在每个隔室212中,设置有触头220中的一个。
触头220包括低速信号触头222和高速信号触头226。电连接器200包括附接到壳体210的屏蔽件250。壳体210具有在其顶表面上形成的脊214。屏蔽件250带有主要本体252和从主要本体252横向延伸的指件254。屏蔽件250附接到壳体210,其中,主要本体252平行于宽度方向204布置并覆盖壳体210的顶表面,并且其中,每个指件254插入壳体210的相邻的脊214之间。屏蔽件250的主要本体252接合接地条230并与其电接触。每个指件254沿高度方向206与位于指件254中的一个下方的低速信号触头222中的一个对准。
如图14中所示,低速信号触头222由第一接触间距222a彼此间隔开地定位。同样,高速信号触头226由与第一接触间距122a基本相同的第二接触间距226a彼此间隔开地定位。
屏蔽件250沿宽度方向204包括第一区段250a和第二区段250b。第一区段250a中的指件254由第一指件间距254a彼此分开。第二区段250b中的指件254由第二指件间距254b彼此分开。第二指件间距254b大于第二触头间距226a,例如,如图14中所示,第二指件间距254b是第二触头间距226a的三倍,即,在第二区段250b中的相邻的指件254之间设置有两个高速触头226。利用以上述方式配置的第一和第二指件间距254a、254b,每个指件254与低速触头252中的一个对准,并且两个或更多个高速触头226设置在两个相邻的指件254之间。因此,高速触头226暴露在屏蔽件250的相邻的指件244之间。指件254远离高速触头226定位,以通过减少插入损耗和改善谐振性能来实现更好的信号完整性。屏蔽件250具有保持和接合接地条230的功能。屏蔽件250与接地条230的接合通过较低的阻抗和改进的屏蔽性能改善了信号完整性性能。
根据一些实施方式,触头220还可以被包括在插入模制引线框组件(IMLA)类型中。应当理解,引线框组件是使用传统技术准备的。在一些实施方式中,与引线框组件相关联的壳体110、210是绝缘壳体。
根据一些实施方式,支撑构件140和屏蔽件250的至少一些部分是导电的。
根据一些实施方式,指件可以是弹性的并且由金属制成。

Claims (18)
1.一种电连接器(100、200),包括:
壳体(110、210),具有宽度方向和与宽度方向垂直的安装方向;
多个低速信号触头(122、222),沿宽度方向布置在壳体中;
多个高速信号触头(126、226),沿宽度方向布置在壳体中;
多个接地条(130、230),每个接地条设置在相邻的两个低信号触头之间;
构件,设置在壳体顶侧上并具有沿宽度方向设置的本体(142、252),其中,指件(144、254)从本体横向延伸并远离高速信号触头定位;
其中,每个指件沿安装方向与低速信号触头中的一个对准;和
其中,两个或更多个高速信号触头暴露在相邻的指件之间,使得通过减少插入损耗和改善谐振性能来实现更好的信号完整性。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其中,所述本体与附接到所述壳体的支撑构件(140)相关联。

4.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其中,所述壳体包括在其顶表面上形成的脊(114、214),并且所述指件插入相邻的脊之间。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其中,低速信号触头由第一触头间距(122a、222a)间隔开定位,并且高速信号触头由第二触头间距(126a、226a)间隔开定位。
