汽车的侧车门当被打开时通常向外摆动。当打开时向外摆动的侧车门可显著增加汽车的宽度。如果汽车的乘员在其他车辆、小轮摩托车、自行车、人或其他目标正在接近时打开了侧车门,则那些正接近目标可撞击到车辆打开的侧车门。
因此,希望提供能够降低正接近目标撞击打开的侧车门的风险的系统、车辆和方法。此外,通过随后的详细描述以及所附权利要求书并结合附图以及前述技术领域和背景技术,本发明的其他期望特征和特性将变得显而易见。
发明内容
提供了用于警告正接近目标和打开的侧车门之间碰撞的系统、汽车和方法。在一个实施例中,一种用于车辆的系统包括接近传感器、侧车门传感器、报警器以及控制器。接近传感器配置为附接至车辆并生成指示可与车辆的侧车门碰撞的正接近目标的接近传感器数据。侧车门传感器配置为生成指示侧车门被乘员即将打开的车门传感器数据。报警器配置为与乘员通信。控制器与接近传感器、侧车门传感器和报警器电子通信。控制器包括警告启动模块,其配置为响应于检测到侧车门的即将打开和检测到正接近目标,警告乘员该正接近目标可与侧车门碰撞。
在一个实施例中,汽车包括车身、侧车门、侧镜、接近传感器、侧车门传感器、报警器以及控制器。侧车门可枢转地固定至车身并具有内部车门把手。侧镜附接至车身并且接近传感器附接至侧镜和配置为生成接近传感器数据。侧车门传感器配置为生成与内部车门把手的拉动相关联的车门传感器数据。报警器设置在车身内部。控制器与接近传感器、侧车门传感器和报警器电子通信。控制器包括:车门检测模块,其配置为基于车门传感器数据检测要打开侧车门的意图;正接近目标模块,其配置为检测当打开侧车门时混合交通中可与侧车门碰撞的正接近目标;特征停用模块,其配置为响应于汽车的发动机的关闭,启动计时器;以及警告启动模块,其配置为响应于检测到要打开侧车门的意图、检测到正接近目标、以及计时器还未过期,警告汽车的乘员该正接近目标可与侧车门碰撞。
在一个实施例中,一种操作车辆的方法包括检测从后方正接近车辆的目标。该方法进一步包括检测要从车辆的内侧打开车辆的侧车门的意图。该方法还又包括响应于检测到目标正接近和要打开侧车门的意图,警告车辆的乘员该目标可与侧车门碰撞。

参考图1,车辆10被显示为处于混合交通情形,其中自行车12正在从车辆10的后方接近车辆10。根据各种实施例,通常以100示出的控制系统与车辆10相关联。通常,控制系统100识别混合交通目标/车辆的潜在碰撞并且当控制系统100检测到乘员要打开车辆的侧车门时警告车辆的乘员。在一些实施例中,当驾驶员在高速公路的侧边离开车辆10时,可以利用控制系统100来警告潜在的车门碰撞。例如,系统可以用于警告快速移动的汽车,车辆10是否轮胎漏气且驾驶员靠近高速公路的路肩以更换轮胎。
在各种实施例中,车辆10是汽车并且控制系统100被结合到车辆10内。车辆10在所示实施例中被描绘为小客车,但是应当意识到,还可以使用具有车门的任何其他车辆,包括卡车、运动型多功能车(SUV)、娱乐车辆(RV)等。
如图所示,车辆10大体上包括车身20、侧车门22、传感器28a-b、至少一个数据存储装置(未示出)、报警器30以及控制器34a-c。
传感器28a-b感测车辆10的外部环境和/或内部环境的可观测状况。传感器28a-b可以包括但不限于,RADAR、LIDAR、光学摄像机、热感摄像机、超声传感器、毫米波传感器和/或其他传感器。在所提供的示例中,传感器28a是设置在车辆10的后保险杠中的接近传感器,并且配置为检测至少部分在车辆10后方的目标。在脱离本公开的范围的情况下,传感器28a可以设置在除了后保险杠之外的位置,比如在侧镜中。传感器28b是配置为感测侧车门22的即将打开的车门传感器。在所提供的示例中,每个侧车门传感器28b是通过内部车门把手的致动触发的车门把手传感器。在一些实施例中,每个侧车门传感器28b是设置在车辆10内部的接近度传感器,并且配置为检测乘员在打开侧车门22之前正接近内部车门把手的手部。报警器30可以是扬声器,可以是尾灯或内部灯控制器,和/或可以是配置为与车辆10的乘员和/或正接近目标的操作者进行通信的任何其他类型的装置。
尽管示出了三个控制器34a-c,应当意识到,在不脱离本公开范围的情况下,可以采用任何数目的控制器来实现以下所述的算法。在所提供的示例中,控制器34a是发动机控制模块,控制器34b是车身控制模块,而控制器34c是支持传感器模块,如本领域普通技术人可以意识到的。控制器34a-c包括至少一个处理器(未示出)和计算机可读存储装置或介质(未示出)。处理器可以是任何定制的或商业上可用的处理器、中央处理单元(CPU)、图形处理单元(GPU)、与控制器相关联的若干处理器中的辅助处理器、基于半导体的微处理器(采用微芯片或芯片集的形式)、宏处理器、它们的任何组合或通常用于执行指令的任何装置。计算机可读存储装置或介质可以包括例如只读存储器(ROM)、随机存取存储器(RAM)和保活存储器(KAM)中的易失性和非易失性存储装置。KAM是一种持久或非易失性存储器,其可在处理器断电时用于存储各种操作变量。计算机可读存储装置或介质可以利用诸如PROM(可编程只读存储器)、EPROM(电PROM)、EEPROM(电可擦除PROM)、闪速存储器或能够存储数据的任何其他电、磁、光学或组合存储器装置的许多已知存储器中的任何一种来实施,其中的一些数据表示由控制器用于控制车辆10的可执行指令。
指令可包括一个或多个单独的程序,每个程序包括用于实施逻辑功能的可执行指令的有序列表。指令在由处理器执行时接收并处理来自传感器系统28a-b的信号,执行用于自动控制车辆10的部件的逻辑、计算、方法和/或算法。车辆10的实施例可以包括在任何合适的通信介质或通信介质的组合上进行通信并且协作以处理传感器信号、执行逻辑、计算、方法和/或算法以及生成控制信号以自动控制车辆10的特征的任意数量的控制器。
在各种实施例中,控制器34a-c的一个或多个指令体现在控制系统100中,并且当由处理器执行时,响应于潜在车门打开指示,检测并警告目标正接近车辆10。例如,控制器34a-c可以评估来自传感器28a的信号以确定自行车12正在接近车辆10。控制器34a-c随后可以促使报警器26启动以警告车辆10的乘员和/或自行车12的操作者潜在的碰撞。
现在参考图2,并且继续参考图1,数据流图200示出了可以嵌入在控制器34a-c内的控制系统100的各种实施例。根据本公开的控制系统100的各种实施例可以包括嵌入在控制器34a-c内的任意数量的子模块。如可以意识到的,可以将图2中所示的子模块合并和/或进一步划分以类似地控制车辆10。对控制系统100的输入可以从传感器28a-b接收、从与车辆10相关的的其他控制模块(未示出)接收、从通信网络(未示出)接收,和/或通过控制器34a-c内的其他子模块(未示出)确定/模拟。在各种实施例中,控制系统100包括车门打开检测模块210、正接近目标模块215、以及接近传感器数据库220、特征停用模块225、车辆速度模块230和警告启动模块235。
车门打开检测模块210从侧车门传感器28b接收车门传感器数据305并生成用于警告启动模块235的车门打开指示符310。车门打开检测模块210响应于检测到打开侧车门22的意图生成该车门打开指示符310。在所提供的示例中,通过侧车门22的内部车门把手的拉动或转动推断出要打开侧车门22的意图。车门打开指示符310指示警告启动模块235存在侧车门22的即将打开。在一些实施方式中,当侧车门传感器28b是接近度传感器且其指示乘员的手臂正接近内部车门把手时,推断出要打开侧车门的意图。
正接近目标模块215接收来自接近传感器28a的接近传感器数据315和来自接近传感器数据库220的接近解释数据320。正接近目标模块215进一步响应于检测到该正接近目标,生成用于警告启动模块235的正接近目标指示符325。接近解释数据320存储用于确定何时接近传感器数据315指示正接近目标的标准。在所提供的示例中,接近传感器数据315是来自传感器28a的原始输出。接近解释数据320向正接近目标模块215指示:在接近传感器数据315中的距离和电压之间存在线性关系,以及接近传感器数据315的逐渐增大电压指示了该正接近目标。在一些实施方式中,正接近模块215配置为当正接近目标和车辆10之间的相对运动在预定范围内时,生成正接近目标指示符325。例如,可以利用电压的变化率来确定相对速度。在所提供的示例中,当正接近目标从车辆10横向偏移并且在基本上平行于车辆10的纵向轴线的路径上时,正接近目标模块215生成正接近目标指示符325。
特征停用模块225接收来自控制器34a的发动机状态数据330并生成用于警告启动模块235的特征启用状态335。在所提供的示例中,特征停用模块225响应于确定了发动机已经关闭,启动计时器。特征启用状态335指示了,警告不应被发出且传感器28a-b可以在计时器到期之后断电。
车辆速度模块230从控制器34a接收车辆速度数据340并生成用于警告启动模块235的停止车辆指示符345。停止车辆指示符345指示了何时车辆的速度10为零使得车辆10静止。
警告启动模块235生成用于报警器30的报警器启用指示符350。报警器启用指示符350促使报警器30警告乘员和/或正接近目标的操作者车门即将打开。
现在参考图3,并且继续参考图1至图2,流程图示出了用于操作车辆的控制方法400,其可以由根据本公开的图1的控制器系统100执行。如根据本公开可以意识到的,该方法内的操作的顺序并不限于图3中所示的顺次执行,而是可以随应用并根据本公开按照一种或多种不同的顺序执行。在各种实施例中,方法400可以按计划来基于一个或多个预定事件运行,和/或可以在车辆10的操作期间连续地运行。
总体而言,方法400是一种检测正接近目标(人、自行车、小轮摩托车等)并在车辆驾驶员或乘客意图打开汽车车门时警告他们的算法。
控制系统100在任务410中监测车辆速度(|v|)。控制系统100在任务415中确定|v|是否大于零。例如,车辆速度模块230可以从发动机控制单元控制器34a检索得到当前车辆速度并确定何时车辆为静止(即,|v|为零)。当|v|大于零时,方法400返回至任务410。当|v|为零时,方法400前进到任务420。
控制系统100在任务420中监测传感器。例如,车门打开检测模块210可以监测来自侧车门传感器28b的车门传感器数据305并且正接近目标模块215可以监测来自接近传感器28a的接近传感器数据315。如上所述,接近传感器28a可以安装在后保险杆中或者车辆10的侧镜中。
控制系统100在任务425中确定目标是否正在接近。例如,正接近目标模块215可以基于接近传感器数据315的逐渐增大的电压,确定正接近目标可与车辆10的侧车门22碰撞。在一些实施方式中,正接近目标模块215将来自多个接近传感器28a的接近传感器数据315进行比较以确定该正接近目标与车辆横向隔开并在基本上平行于车辆10的纵向轴线的路径上。例如,直接在车辆10后方的汽车不可在侧车门22被打开时撞击到侧车门22,因此横向对准的汽车不会触发以上所述的警告。在一些实施例中,正接近目标模块215可以基于地理位置、正接近目标的尺寸、正接近目标的速度和/或介于其他考虑因素,确定该正接近目标是混合交通(例如,小轮摩托车,自行车、人等)。在所提供的示例中,接近传感器是超声传感器,并且当接近传感器数据的电压以例如400mV/s的速率线性增大时,正接近目标模块215确定自行车/小轮摩托车/人正在接近。当目标未正在接近时,方法400返回至任务410。当目标正在接近时,方法400前进到任务430。
控制系统100在任务430中确定是否存在要打开车辆10的车门的意图。例如,车门打开检测模块210可以通过检查车门传感器数据305检测内部车门把手的拉动,其指示侧车门22的即将打开。在一些实施例中,车门打开检测模块210通过利用接近度传感器检测乘员的手臂正在接近内部车门把手,检测侧车门22的即将打开。当没有要打开车门的意图时,方法400返回至任务410。当存在要打开车门的意图时,方法400返前进到任务435。
控制系统100在任务435中警告乘员潜在的车门碰撞。例如,响应于检测到要打开侧车门的意图和检测到正接近目标,警告启动模块235可以通过生成用于报警器30的报警器启用指示符350来警告乘员目标可与侧车门22碰撞。警告可以利用车辆10中的音频扬声器通过音频传送,可以通过车辆10的座椅中的触觉反馈,可以通过车辆10内侧的闪烁灯,和/或可以是任何其他设施的警告方法。在所提供的示例中,警告启动模块235配置为进一步响应于车辆正如停止车辆指示符345所指示的静止而警告乘员。
在一些实施方式中,警告启动模块235进一步配置为警告正接近目标的操作者车门即将打开。例如,警告启动模块235可以启动报警器30以使车辆10的尾灯或转向灯闪烁来警告自行车12的操作者车门即将打开。
控制系统100在任务440中确定计时器是否已经过期。例如,特征停用模块225可以在车辆10的发动机关闭之后启动计时器。在所提供的示例中,定时器被设置成在发动机关闭之后两分钟过期。应当意识到,在不脱离本公开的范围的情况下,可以利用其他合适的时间。当计时器还未过期时,方法400返回至任务410以继续提供警告。当在发动机未处于活动持续预定量的时间之后计时器已经过期时,方法400结束。

Claims (9)

1.一种用于车辆的系统,所述系统包括:
接近传感器,所述接近传感器配置为附接至所述车辆并生成指示可与所述车辆的侧车门碰撞的正接近目标的接近传感器数据;
侧车门传感器,所述侧车门传感器配置为生成指示所述侧车门被乘员即将打开的车门传感器数据;
报警器,所述报警器配置为与所述乘员通信;以及
控制器,所述控制器与所述接近传感器、所述侧车门传感器和所述报警器电子通信,所述控制器包括:
正接近目标模块,所述正接近目标模块配置为检测是否正接近目标是混合交通以及是否正接近目标在与车辆横向隔开并在基本上平行于车辆的纵向轴线的路径上,其中基于地理位置、正接近目标的尺寸、正接近目标的速度中的至少一个确定是否正接近目标是混合交通;
警告启动模块,所述警告启动模块配置为警告所述乘员所述正接近目标可与所述侧车门碰撞,其中响应于检测到所述侧车门的所述即将打开,确定所述正接近目标是所述路径上的混合交通和检测到所述正接近目标,所述警告启动模块警告所述乘员。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述控制器进一步包括车辆速度模块,所述车辆速度模块配置为确定何时车辆静止,并且其中所述警告启动模块配置为进一步响应于所述车辆正处于静止,警告所述乘员。
3.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述接近传感器进一步配置为响应于确定了所述正接近目标是与所述车辆横向隔开的混合交通,确定所述正接近目标可与所述车辆的所述侧车门碰撞。
4.一种操作车辆的方法,所述方法包括:
检测正接近所述车辆的目标;
确定是否所述目标在基本上平行于所述车辆的纵向轴线的路径上且从所述车辆横向偏移;
基于地理位置、正接近目标的尺寸、正接近目标的速度中的至少一个确定是否正接近目标是混合交通;
确定是否所述车辆正处于静止;
检测要从所述车辆的内侧打开所述车辆的侧车门的意图;以及
响应于检测到所述目标正接近和要打开所述侧车门的所述意图,确定所述目标在所述路径上,确定所述目标是混合交通和确定所述车辆正处于静止,警告所述车辆的乘员所述目标可与所述侧车门碰撞。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其中警告所述乘员是进一步响应于所述车辆的发动机已经在预定量的时间内活动。
6.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其中检测正接近所述车辆的所述目标是基于接近传感器所生成的接近传感器数据,所述接近传感器安装在所述车辆的车身中并定向成检测所述车辆的后方的所述目标。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法,其中检测正接近所述车辆的所述目标是进一步基于所述接近传感器的电压的变化率。
8.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其中检测所述车辆的所述侧车门的即将打开包括检测所述车辆的内部车门把手上的拉动。
9.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其中检测所述车辆的所述侧车门的即将打开包括利用接近度传感器检测正接近所述车辆的内部车门把手的手臂。
