Description

Sex attractant for preventing and controlling oriental armyworm and application thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of insect population dynamic monitoring and green prevention and control. In particular to an attractant for preventing and controlling oriental armyworm Mythimna separata (Walker) imago.
Background
The oriental armyworm Mythimna separata is a typical long-distance migratory flying pest (hereinafter called armyworm) and is also a major biological disaster seriously threatening the production safety of three staple grains of corn, wheat and rice in China. The method has wide occurrence range and more harmful generations, has 4-5 times of migration damage in a large range in China every year, and can cause the failure of production and harvest in severe cases. Ancient armyworms are called deinsectization, and the tragic state of 'almost completely eating crops and fighting thousands of money' appears in the large occurrence. In 1950-1989, 17 years of outbreak and disaster formation of armyworms occur, the integrated disaster area is 7191 ten thousand hectares, and the grain loss exceeds 1643 thousand tons. In recent years, armyworm damage is aggravated, which continuously occurs nationwide in 2012 and 2013, and the occurrence area is large, the population density is high, the loss is heavy, and the history is rare. In 2012, the disaster area of northeast and northeast China reaches 1 hundred million mu times, and the loss exceeds 30 hundred million yuan. The disaster area of Jingjin Ji exceeds 3000 mu. In order to reduce the loss of armyworm and realize grain deprivation by worms, a large amount of chemical control materials are applied to the field, and the healthy development of modern agriculture is seriously influenced. In 2015, the second generation and the third generation armyworms still outbreak in local areas of northeast and north China.
The behavior of the armyworm for 'no shadow and no trace' long-distance migration leads to difficulty in monitoring the population dynamics and increasing the prediction difficulty. Therefore, the research and development of the high-efficiency, convenient and environment-compatible early insect situation monitoring, early warning and treatment technology becomes a scientific problem to be solved urgently for preventing and controlling the outbreak and the disaster of armyworm in China, and is also an important means for realizing the healthy development of modern agriculture. The sex pheromone is used for monitoring pest situation and trapping pests in a large area, so that the sex pheromone has the advantages of strong specificity, good environmental compatibility and simplicity and convenience in use, target pests can be specifically monitored under the condition of low pest density, and early warning of pests is realized (Howse et al, 1998), and the technology is particularly important in comprehensive treatment of fulminant and migratory armyworms.
The prior domestic literature reports that the formula of the armyworm sex pheromone comprises the following components: (1) binary component Z11-16: Ald/Z11-16: Ac 900/100 μ g (bang et al, 1985); (2) ternary formulation Z11-16: Ald/Z11-16: OH ═ 34:18:1 (total dose 100 μ g) (sonasia ru et al, 2017). In order to promote the development of the armyworm population dynamic monitoring and sex attractant control technology, realize the early warning and green control of armyworms, optimize the compositions and the proportion of the core-luring formula and open up a new sustainable management way for monitoring and controlling armyworms by utilizing sex pheromone.
