Description

Chinese herbal medicine preparation for treating piglet diarrhea and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of animal medicine, in particular to a Chinese herbal medicine preparation for treating piglet diarrhea and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The diarrhea of piglets becomes an important factor influencing the survival rate of piglets, and particularly, once the piglets which are just born suffer from diarrhea, the death rate is up to 60-90 percent, thus seriously influencing the economic benefit of the pig industry in China. The diarrhea of piglets mainly comprises viral diarrhea and bacterial diarrhea, and the viral diarrhea is mainly caused by that viruses invade intestinal villus cells to cause cell death to influence the absorption function of the intestines. At present, viruses that have been shown to cause diarrhea in piglets are: transmissible gastroenteritis virus, rotavirus, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus, porcine circovirus, porcine enterovirus, kubambusvirus, bocavirus, and the like. The transmissible gastroenteritis virus and the epidemic diarrhea virus are susceptible to pigs of various ages and breeds, wherein the fatality rate of piglets below 2 weeks can reach 100%; rotavirus is susceptible to infection of piglets of 10-60 days old, and is mainly characterized by anorexia, diarrhea, emesis, watery or pasty feces, and serious patients are dehydrated and even die; the bocavirus is a virus newly found in 2009, and is researched to cause host diarrhea and has correlation with the diarrhea epidemic situation of 2010 pigs. The bacterial diarrhea is mainly caused by the pollution of pathogenic bacteria and the change of environment and climate, and has serious harm to escherichia coli, salmonella, clostridium welchii, shigella and the like, particularly, yellow and white scour of piglets caused by the escherichia coli has great influence on pig farms, and the mortality rate is high. The single virus, bacteria or mixed infection can indirectly or directly cause diarrhea of piglets, once the piglets have diarrhea, the piglets can stop growing, even grow backwards, and the serious piglets die, thus causing great economic loss to the pig industry.
Viral diarrhea occurs almost in all countries of the world where pigs are raised. At present, no medicine for effectively treating the viral diarrhea of piglets exists, and effective methods for preventing the disease are to strengthen the feeding management and effective vaccination. However, no specific and ideal vaccine control measures for the viral diarrhea of piglets exist at present. The inactivated vaccine has low antigenicity and needs to be added with an adjuvant additionally. Various antiviral drugs such as ribavirin and amantadine have been prohibited by Ministry of agriculture. The treatment of bacterial diarrhea has insignificant treatment effect and difficult control of yellow and white diarrhea in a pig farm because pathogenic bacteria easily generate drug resistance to antibiotics.
The Chinese herbal medicine is the most traditional and naturally existing medicinal material in China, has extremely rich resource sources and relatively low price, contains various natural chemical components and nutrient components, such as tannin, saponin, alkaloid, organic acid, vitamins, mineral substances, trace elements and the like, has the effects of resisting bacteria, viruses, inflammation and convergence, can improve the immune function, improve the production performance, supplement nutrition and the like, and does not have the defect that western medicine antibiotics generate drug resistance, so the Chinese herbal medicine has wide application value in the prevention and treatment of livestock and poultry diseases. Under the condition that most of current swine plagues are mixed and infected frequently, the traditional Chinese medicine without adverse reaction is used for treating and controlling invasion and spread of pathogens, so that the traditional Chinese medicine has certain advantages, and the Chinese herbal medicine preparation is rarely reported to be used for treating or preventing diarrhea in swine herds.
