Abstract

本发明公开了一种活性碳酸钙及其制备方法。其制备原料主要包括:碳酸钙,水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂,聚甲基苯乙烯助剂,己二酸二辛酯增塑剂,马来酸酐接枝相容剂。其方法是:取一定量的碳酸钙粉末,加入水,搅拌均匀配置成质量百分比20‑30%碳酸钙水乳溶液,再添加水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂、聚甲基苯乙烯助剂、己二酸二辛酯增塑剂,继续搅拌均匀,将体系中温度加热控制在50‑60℃范围内,搅拌1‑2h,再加入马来酸酐接枝相容剂,在60‑70℃范围内搅拌1‑2,反应结束后经脱水,100‑115℃下干燥处理,物料冷却即得活性碳酸钙。

一种活性碳酸钙及其制备方法
技术领域
本发明属于碳酸钙制备技术领域,具体涉及一种通过表面改性的活性碳酸钙及其制备方法。
背景技术
碳酸钙是一类重要的功能性无机填料,具有价格低廉、储量丰富、性能稳定、易加工、无毒等优点,能够显著的改善材料的加工性能、物理性能以及降低生产成本等等,广泛应用于塑料、橡胶、涂料、造纸等领域,随着复合材料的迅速发展以及世界性的能源短缺,以石油为原料的合成树脂持续涨价,要求人们在塑料、橡胶等复合材料制品中填加更多的无机填料,以进一步降低制品成本,节省树脂用量,并要求在填加较多无机填料的同时,保证或提高制品的加工性能和物理机械性能。但是其表面有亲水性较强的羟基,呈现较强的碱性,这种亲水疏油的性质使的碳酸钙与有机高聚物的亲和性差,易形成聚集体,造成在高聚物内部分分散不均匀,从而造成两种材料间界面缺陷,直接应用效果不好,而且碳酸钙作为填料,其耐酸性、光滑度、白度等性能还有待进一步提高,因此,为了提高碳酸钙的补强作用以及在复合材料中的分散性能和改性碳酸钙填充复合材料的物理性能,有必要采用不同的表面改性剂和处理方法对碳酸钙粉末进行表面改性,进而拓宽碳酸钙的应用领域。
我国目前生产碳酸钙三十至五十万吨,绝大部分是未改性的轻质碳酸钙,只是近年才有少数单位研制并生产了供橡胶用的几种微细碳或改性品种,而供塑料行业用的只有用硬脂酸处理的活性碳酸钙一种,直到1985年,才有南京跃进炼灰厂等生产用钛酸酯偶联剂处理的诸如NY系列活性碳酸钙。至今,我国碳酸钙填料在质量和品种方面,仍远远不能满足生产需求。碳酸钙的改性,国内外所采用的方法归纳起来有两类:一是改变碳酸钙生产工艺,以生产粒度小且分散性小的微细或超细碳酸钙;另一类是在原生产工艺后加一个后处理工序,用各种改性剂对碳酸钙进行表面活化改性处理。第一类方法,须对旧工艺进行改造,设备投资大,产品成本高;第二类方法,设备简单、投资少,耗能低,成本低,同样也能得到性能较好的活性碳酸钙。目前在碳酸钙活化处理过程中所使用的表面活性剂一般有机链较短,处理的碳酸钙表面和树脂之间不能形成良好的界面层,在体系中碳酸钙用量添加的情况下,界面层有效浓度明显降低,更重要的是在碳酸钙表面不能形成均匀有效地弹性体,导致塑料制品机械性能明显下降。
发明内容
针对上述问题,本发明的目的在于利用复合表面改性剂对碳酸钙进行表面改性处理,提供一种应用范围广,生产工艺简单,成本低而且综合性能优异的适用于塑料、橡胶、涂料及油墨等的活性碳酸钙,活性碳酸钙的原料组分及含量(按质量计)如下:
优先地,在所述的活性碳酸钙的原料组分中,所述碳酸钙为500-1000目的碳酸钙粉末;
优先地,在所述的活性碳酸钙的原料组分中,所述的水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂的质量浓度为50-60%;
上述的活性碳酸钙的制备方法包括如下步骤:
(1)取一定量的碳酸钙粉末,加入水,搅拌均匀配置成质量百分比20-30%碳酸钙水乳溶液;(2)在此碳酸钙水乳溶液体系中,添加水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂、聚甲基苯乙烯助剂、己二酸二辛酯增塑剂,继续搅拌均匀;
(3)将体系中温度加热控制在50-60℃范围内,搅拌1-2h;
(4)最后添加马来酸酐接枝相容剂,在60-70℃范围内搅拌1-2;
(5)反应结束后经脱水,100-115℃下干燥处理,物料冷却即得活性碳酸钙。
本发明的有益效果为:利用水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂、聚甲基苯乙烯助剂、己二酸二辛酯增塑剂等表面处理剂对碳酸钙进行改性处理,改性后的粉体吸油值、粘度、活化率等性能指标均发生变化,变得亲油疏水,更利于其在聚合物中分散性、相容性和稳定性,从而达到良好的填充补强效果。
具体实施方式
实施例一:
取100g的500目碳酸钙粉末,加水搅拌均匀,配置成质量百分比20%碳酸钙水乳溶液,在碳酸钙水乳溶液中,添加2g的质量浓度为50%的水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂、2g的聚甲基苯乙烯助剂、1g的己二酸二辛酯增塑剂,搅拌均匀,将体系温度加热控制在50℃,搅拌1h,添加1g马来酸酐接枝相容剂,在60℃范围内搅拌1h,反应结束后经脱水,在100℃下干燥处理,物料冷却即得活性碳酸钙。
实施例二:
取10kg的800目碳酸钙粉末,加水搅拌,配置成质量百分比25%碳酸钙水乳溶液,在此碳酸钙水乳溶液体系中,添加0.3kg的质量浓度为55%的水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂、0.3kg的聚甲基苯乙烯助剂、0.2kg的己二酸二辛酯增塑剂,搅拌均匀,将体系温度加热控制在55℃,搅拌1.5h,添加0.2kg来酸酐接枝相容剂,在65℃范围内搅拌1.5h,反应结束后经脱水,在110℃下干燥处理,物料冷却即得活性碳酸钙。
实施例三:
取100kg的1000目碳酸钙粉末倒入加热混合机中,再加水搅拌均匀,配置成质量百分比30%碳酸钙水乳溶液,在此碳酸钙水乳溶液中,添加5kg的质量浓度为60%的水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂、5kg的聚甲基苯乙烯助剂、3kg的己二酸二辛酯增塑剂,搅拌均匀,将体系温度加热控制在60℃,搅拌2h,添加3kg马来酸酐接枝相容剂,在70℃范围内搅拌2h,反应结束后经脱水,在115℃下干燥处理,物料冷却即得活性碳酸钙。

Claims (5)

1.一种活性碳酸钙,其特征在于,其包含以质量分数计的如下组分:
碳酸钙 100份;
水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂 2-5份;
聚甲基苯乙烯助剂 2-5份;
己二酸二辛酯增塑剂 1-3份;
马来酸酐接枝相容剂 1-3份。
2.根据权利要求1所述的活性碳酸钙,其特征在于,其包含以质量分数计的如下组分:
碳酸钙 100份;
水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂 3份;
聚甲基苯乙烯助剂 3份;
己二酸二辛酯增塑剂 2份;
马来酸酐接枝相容剂 2份。
3.根据权利要求1或者2所述的活性碳酸钙,其特征在于,所述的碳酸钙为500-1000目的碳酸钙粉末。
4.根据权利要求1或者2所述的活性碳酸钙,其特征在于,所述的水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂质量浓度为50-60%。
5.一种如权利要求1-4任一所述的活性碳酸钙的制备方法,其特征在于,该制备方法包括如下步骤:
(1)取一定量的碳酸钙粉末,加入水,搅拌均匀配置成质量百分比20-30%碳酸钙水乳溶液;
(2)在此碳酸钙水乳溶液体系中,添加水杨酸乙二醇单脂偶联剂、聚甲基苯乙烯助剂、己二酸二辛酯增塑剂,继续搅拌均匀;
(3)将体系中温度加热控制在50-60℃范围内,搅拌1-2h;
(4)最后添加马来酸酐接枝相容剂,在60-70℃范围内搅拌1-2;
(5)反应结束后经脱水,100-115℃下干燥处理,物料冷却即得活性碳酸钙。
