技术领域
本发明涉及对用于内燃发动机喷射系统的燃料轨(fuel rail)的或与燃料轨相关的改进。
背景技术
燃料轨或公共燃料轨通常连接到在压力下为燃料轨供给燃料的燃料泵。燃料轨在压力下为多个喷射器供给燃料。喷射器由在需要燃料时打开液压阀的ECU控制。然后,喷射器将燃料直接喷射到相应的发动机气缸中,或以期望的压力在进气道处喷射燃料。
为了碰撞状态下承受施加在燃料轨和车辆的进气歧管之间的压缩力,车辆燃料轨通常由钢制造。在正面碰撞的情况下,车辆的进气歧管可以朝向发动机变形并接触燃料轨。因此,需要燃料轨的强度高于进气歧管的强度,使得进气歧管将断裂而留下燃料轨完好无损,并且防止由于燃料轨的断裂或破裂而可能发生的燃料泄漏。
在碰撞状态下,特别是在正面撞击的情况下,车辆的燃料轨将旋转和弯曲。每个喷射器连接到燃料轨,并且通过O形环密封件在燃料轨和喷射器之间提供密封。如果燃料轨在碰撞状态下过度弯曲,O形环密封件可能失效导致燃油泄漏、燃油供应中断和安全要求失效。
现有技术在燃料轨的弯曲中心附近提供加强件,但是已经发现这对燃料轨的弯曲强度几乎没有影响。现有技术还在燃料轨和进气歧管之间提供厚钢板以减少在碰撞状态下传递到燃料轨中的负载。该解决方案为车辆增加了更多的重量、实施成本高昂,并且由于钢板只能安装在发动机上的有限位置,某些发动机构造可能无法使用该解决方案。
在这种背景下出现了本发明。
发明内容
根据本发明,提供了一种与内燃发动机一起使用的燃料轨,燃料轨包括远离燃料轨延伸的多个指状物,并且其中指状物构造为在碰撞状态下与相邻发动机部件相接触。
燃料轨可以是塑料的并且指状物可以被整体模制。
塑料具有显著低于钢的弯曲强度,但塑料是更轻且更便宜的材料。设置远离燃料轨延伸的整体模制的指状物为燃料轨提供抵抗来自进气歧管的负载的可替代的负载路径。这是由于整体模制的指状物在碰撞状态期间与相邻的发动机部件(例如汽缸盖或阀盖)相接触。指状物还限制燃料轨的旋转从而减少燃料轨的弯曲。因此,来自进气歧管的任何负载都会绕过喷射器O形环密封件。这种塑料燃料轨的碰撞负载能力至少相当于典型的钢燃料轨的碰撞负载能力。
由于减轻的重量提供了改善的燃料效率,还需要优化车辆重量。因此,使用塑料燃料轨有助于提高燃料效率。
燃料轨可以是金属并且指状物可以焊接到燃料轨上。
多个指状物可以各自包括安装在指状物上的阻尼元件。
相邻的发动机部件或需要足够的间隙以避免在正常操作状态下接触,或提供阻尼元件(即橡胶套)以提供噪音和振动吸收能力。在缺乏阻尼元件的情况下,多个指状物在指状物的末端与相邻的发动机部件之间将需要至少十毫米的间隙。这样的结构将导致指状物和相邻的发动机部件之间延迟接触,从而导致喷射器O形环的燃料轨弯曲和潜在的故障。阻尼元件允许多个指状物整体与相邻的发动机部件紧密接近。
阻尼元件可以包括布置在每个指状物和相邻的发动机部件之间的可拆卸的橡胶套。
使用可拆卸的橡胶套可以不影响燃料轨单独更换阻尼元件。
指状物可以配置为在非碰撞状态下与相邻的发动机部件间隔开。指状物可以配置为在非碰撞状态下在所述指状物和相邻的发动机部件之间提供小于5毫米的间距。
相邻的发动机部件如果相互接触,就会在正常运行状态下产生噪音和振动。因此,优选地将这些相邻的发动机部件彼此间隔开可以限制噪音和振动以及相关的磨损。相反地,期望限制燃料轨的弯曲,因此在指状物和相邻的发动机部件之间需要有最小的间距。

具体实施方式
燃料轨10包括连接到燃料泵(未示出)的燃料入口12。燃料轨10通过两个附接腿14安装到内燃发动机上。多个喷射器16安装在燃料轨10中的相应端口上,以在高压下从燃料轨10供给燃料到相应的气缸。O形环各自在每个喷射器与燃料轨10之间提供密封。多个一体指状物18从燃料轨10延伸。
燃料轨10使用已知技术(例如注塑成型或添加制造)并以塑料制造。合适的塑料包括聚酰胺(Polyamide,PA)、聚邻苯二甲酰胺(Polyphthalamide,PPA)和聚苯硫醚(Polyphenylene Sulfide,PPS)。附接腿14和指状物18是燃料轨10的组成部分。
指状物18的形状、尺寸和长度可以根据要求(例如燃料轨10和内燃发动机之间的距离、可用空间、和距弯矩中心的距离)进行调整。
为了防止金属与塑料或金属与金属相接触,每个指状物18设置有橡胶套形式的阻尼元件20,阻尼元件20滑动到每个指状物18的接合端。阻尼元件20在碰撞状态下与相邻的发动机部件相接触,并且在非碰撞或正常操作状态下与相邻的发动机部件间隔开。
在碰撞状态下,指状物18被推动与邻近的发动机部件50(即,汽缸盖或阀盖)接合,从而通过指状物18与汽缸盖50之间的小间隙限制燃料轨10的弯曲。为了使燃料轨弯曲,指状物18在燃料轨10可以朝向汽缸盖50旋转或弯曲之前将必须先断裂。指状物18提供可替代的负载路径以减少燃料轨10的弯曲。

Claims (7)

1.一种用于内燃发动机的燃料轨,所述燃料轨包括远离所述燃料轨延伸的多个指状物,并且其中所述指状物构造成在碰撞状态下与相邻的发动机部件相接触,其中所述指状物构造成在非碰撞状态下在所述指状物和所述相邻的发动机部件之间提供小于5毫米的间距。
2.根据权利要求1所述的燃料轨,其中所述燃料轨是塑料燃料轨,并且所述指状物为整体模制的。
3.根据权利要求1所述的燃料轨,其中所述燃料轨是金属燃料轨,并且所述指状物为焊接的。
4.根据权利要求1所述的燃料轨,其中所述多个指状物中的每一个包括安装于所述每一个指状物上的阻尼元件。
5.根据权利要求4所述的燃料轨,其中所述阻尼元件包括布置在每个相应的所述指状物和所述相邻的发动机部件之间的橡胶套。
6.根据权利要求1所述的燃料轨,其中所述指状物构造成在非碰撞状态下与所述相邻的发动机部件间隔开。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的燃料轨,其中所述指状物构造成在所述碰撞状态下与所述内燃发动机的汽缸盖或阀盖相接触。
