Abstract
The invention relates to a feed production method for delaying the growth speed of fruit fly strains. The invention mainly solves the technical problems that the feed consumption of the breed conservation strain is large and the growth speed of the breed conservation strain cannot be delayed in the conventional standard feed. The technical scheme of the invention is as follows: a feed for delaying the growth speed of fruit fly strains is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 450-520 g of sugarcane juice, 40-50 g of corn flour, 32-36 g of sweet potato powder, 3-6 g of peanut powder, 5-8 g of soybean meal, 8-10 g of agar powder, 6.92-7 g of propionic acid, 20-25 g of malt juice and 450-500 g of water. The production method comprises the following steps: 1) weighing the raw materials according to the weight parts; 2) firstly, melting and dissolving agar powder by adding hot water, then preparing corn flour, sweet potato powder, peanut powder and soybean powder into mixed powder, adding the mixed powder into an agar solution, adding sugarcane juice, and then heating and boiling; 3) after cooling to 50 ℃, propionic acid and wort were added and stirred well.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a feed production method for delaying the growth speed of fruit fly strains, and belongs to the technical field of mode insect feeding feeds.
Background
Drosophila is a model animal, often used in biological experiments. The gene has clear genetic background and short growth period, and is widely applied to genetic experiments. However, just because of the short growth cycle of the fruit flies, researchers need to replace the fruit fly tubes and feed periodically to maintain adequate feed, proper population density and humidity in the tubes. Related research institutions at home and abroad store a large number of transgenic fruit fly strains for scientific research, the number of fruit fly strains in a plurality of subject groups reaches thousands, and the operation of transferring, managing and preserving the fruit fly strains is very heavy. Therefore, there is a need to develop a feed, which is specially used for breed conservation strains, can slow down the growth rate of the strains and reduce the frequency and the number of pipe rotation.
At present, the feed for feeding the drosophila strains is called standard feed, the standard feed mainly comprises agar, water, corn flour, cane sugar, yeast and propionic acid, the standard feed is used for feeding the drosophila normally and can enable the drosophila to live about 10 days, however, for feeding the seed-preserving strains, the consumption of the standard feed is large, and the growth rate of the seed-preserving strains cannot be delayed.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to solve the technical problems that the feed consumption of breeding and seed protection strains is large and the growth speed of the breeding and seed protection strains cannot be delayed in the existing standard feed, and provides a feed production method for delaying the growth speed of fruit fly strains.
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts the technical scheme that:
a feed for delaying the growth speed of fruit fly strains is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 450-520 g of sugarcane juice, 40-50 g of corn flour, 32-36 g of sweet potato powder, 3-6 g of peanut powder, 5-8 g of soybean meal, 8-10 g of agar powder, 6.92-7 g of propionic acid, 20-25 g of malt juice and 450-500 g of water.
Further, the feed additive is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 500 g of sugarcane juice, 45 g of corn flour, 35 g of sweet potato powder, 5 g of peanut powder, 5 g of soybean powder, 10 g of agar powder, 6.92 g of propionic acid, 20 g of malt juice and 500 g of water.
The production method of the feed for delaying the growth speed of the fruit fly strain comprises the following steps:
1) weighing the sugarcane juice, corn flour, sweet potato powder, peanut powder, soybean powder, agar powder, propionic acid, wort and water according to the weight parts;
2) placing agar powder in a container, melting with hot water to dissolve, adding corn flour, sweet potato powder, peanut powder and soybean powder into another container, stirring to obtain mixed powder, adding the mixed powder into agar solution, stirring, adding sugarcane juice, heating to boil, continuously stirring during boiling, and keeping the mixture mixed uniformly;
3) cooling to 50 ℃, adding propionic acid and wort, stirring uniformly, and completely cooling and solidifying to obtain the feed for delaying the growth speed of the fruit fly strain.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the feed of the invention can greatly reduce the pipe rotating frequency and reduce the work load of seed conservation. Meanwhile, the pesticide has no toxic action on fruit flies and has no influence on genetic experiments. Solves the technical problems of large feed consumption and incapability of delaying the growth speed of the breed conservation strain in the conventional standard feed. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the advantages of less feed consumption, capability of delaying the growth speed of the breed conservation strain and the like.
In order to show that the growth speed of the breed conservation strain can be delayed, experiments are carried out on the drosophila melanogaster by adopting different feeds, and the experimental results are shown in table 1.
TABLE 1 growth time table for drosophila melanogaster with different feeds
As can be seen from Table 1, the feed of the invention has the function of delaying the growth rate of the breed conservation strain, and the growth delaying time is improved by about 50 percent compared with that of the standard feed.
