一种可有效治疗头痛的汤剂药物及其制备方法，其特征在于，所述方法包括如下步骤制备而成：
A、将上述原料中药拣去杂质和粉尘后，按照质量份比分别粉碎成粗粒状包煎；
B、①将包好的原料中药放入冷开水中浸泡35min，然后再将浸泡好的药物和浸泡药物的澄清液一并放入砂锅内，注入过药60mm的冷开水进行第一次武火煎煮，待煎煮到15min时，转文火熬制35 min，滤取药液；②药渣中再次注入过药55mm的微温开水进行第二次武火煎煮，待煎煮到10min时，转文火熬制30 min，滤取药液；③将两次药液混合浓缩成50%的中药液540ml（毫升）即可。

川芎，性味：辛、温，具有行气开郁、法风燥湿、活血止痛之功效，用于治疗风冷头痛旋晕、胁痛腹疼、寒痹筋挛、经闭、难产、产后瘀阻块痛、痈疽疮疡、月经不调、瘕腹痛、胸胁刺痛、跌扑肿痛、风湿痹痛；
桑叶，性味：甘、苦、寒，具有疏散风热、清肺润燥、清肝明目之功效，用于治疗风热感冒、肺热燥咳、头晕头痛、目赤昏花；
白芷，性味：性温、味辛、气芳香、微苦，具有祛风湿、活血排脓、生肌止痛之功效，用于治疗头痛、牙痛、鼻渊、肠风痔漏、赤白带下、痈疽疮疡、皮肤瘙痒；
制川乌，性味：味辛、苦、性热，具有祛风除湿、温经止痛之功效，用于治疗风寒湿痹、关节冷痛、寒疝作痛及麻醉止痛；
天麻，性味：甘、平，具有平肝息风止痉之功效，用于治疗头痛眩晕、肢体麻木、小儿惊风、癫痫抽搐、破伤风等症；
钩藤，性味：甘苦、微寒，具有清热平肝、熄风止痉之功效，用于治疗小儿惊风、夜啼、热盛动风、子痫、肝阳眩晕、肝火头胀痛等症；
决明子，性味：甘、苦、咸、微寒，具有清热明目、润肠通便之功效，用于治疗目赤涩痛、羞明多泪、头痛眩晕、目暗不明、大便秘结；
细辛，性味：辛、温，小毒，具有散寒祛风、止痛、温肺化饮、通窍之功效，用于治疗风寒表证、头痛、牙痛、风湿痹痛、痰饮咳喘、鼻塞、鼻渊、口疮等症；
丹参，性味：苦、微寒，具有祛瘀止痛、活血通经、清心除烦之功效，用于治疗月经不调、经闭痛经、症瘕积聚、胸腹刺痛、热痹疼痛、疮疡肿痛、心烦不眠、肝脾肿大、心绞痛等症；
白芍，性味：苦、酸、微寒，具有养血和营、缓急止痛、敛阴平肝之功效，用于治疗月经不调、经行腹痛、崩漏、自汗、盗汗、胁肋脘腹疼痛、四肢挛痛、头痛、眩晕等症；
夏枯草，性味：味苦、辛、性寒，具有清肝，散结之功效，用于治疗瘰疬、瘿瘤、乳痈、乳癌、目珠夜痛、羞明流泪、头目眩晕、口眼歪斜、筋骨疼痛、肺结核、急性黄疸型传染性肝炎、血崩、带下等症。

经临床诊断治疗头痛患者共1600例，年龄为35岁以上的963例，只有637例为35岁以下。1600例患者中症状逐渐消失或痊愈的1250例，有效的286例，无效的64例。总有效率达96%。
