背景技术
转印是一种用于将文字、图像和图案印制到纺织材料和其他物体上的通用技术。用于转印的两种主要类型的油墨是热升华油墨和热固油墨(塑胶油墨,plastisol ink)。对于热升华油墨,染料在约190-210℃升华并附着到织物上。然而,热升华油墨只适用于聚酯织物,当用其在棉织物上印制时不具有令人满意的色牢度。典型的塑胶油墨是分散在塑化剂中并通过加热转印到织物的乙烯基树脂。塑胶油墨可以印刷到各种纺织材料上,但它们不能提供所需的柔软手感。

发明内容

由本申请热升华油墨印制的图像可以实现在约190℃至210℃从转印介质转印至天然纤维织物或合成织物。所述织物可以选自由棉、麻、聚酯和尼龙组成的组。
具体实施方式
现在将详细地介绍本申请所公开的用于转印的热升华油墨的优选实施方式,在下面的描述中也提供了其实施例。本申请中公开的热升华油墨的示例性实施方式进行了详细地描述。然而,对相关领域的技术人员来说明显的是,为清楚起见,可能未示出对于理解本申请来说不是特别重要的一些特征。
在进一步详细地描述本申请之前,应当理解的是,本文中所使用的术语仅用于描述特定的实施方式的目的,并且不旨在进行限定,因为本申请的范围将仅由所附的权利要求限定。

本申请提供了一种热升华油墨,其除了能够被转印到诸如聚酯(涤纶)、尼龙等合成织物之外,还能够被转印到诸如棉和麻的天然纤维织物,并显示出显著改善的色牢度。利用本申请的热升华油墨可以将图像在室温下使用常规平版印刷机在转印介质(例如纸)上进行印制,以便该热升华油墨保持非活化。在热和压力作用下,该图像可以随后转印到任何所需的织物上,其中,所述热升华油墨被活化并使着色剂结合到(粘合至)织物上,从而具有优异的颜色效果。此外,对于洗涤的色牢度可大大提高。
本申请的热升华油墨可以包含:含有至少一个活性氢的树脂、具有至少两个异氰酸酯(-NCO)基团的交联剂、和至少一种着色剂。热升华油墨可以包含三羟甲基丙烷作为添加剂。热升华油墨还可以包含至少一种载体。任选地,热升华油墨可以包含任何合适的粘合剂、增稠剂和/或溶剂。
含有至少一个活性氢的树脂可以包含丙烯酸树脂(例如来自辽宁三环树脂有限公司的A-76)、醇酸树脂(例如来自Dery Chemical的JC115)、醛酮树脂(例如来自SMA的AK120)、热塑性聚氨酯树脂(来自中国CG的6880)、乙烯醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(例如EscoreneTM UL05540)、或其任意组合。本申请的热升华油墨可以包含总量为约2.5-10wt%的含有至少一个活性氢的树脂。
油墨中树脂量的合适范围是:丙烯酸树脂(约0-10wt%)、醇酸树脂(约0-2.5wt%)、醛酮树脂(约0-5wt%)、热塑性聚氨酯树脂(约2-10wt%)、和乙烯醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(约0-1wt%)。
具有至少两个异氰酸酯(-NCO)基团的交联剂可以包括聚氨酯(PU)预聚体,或者具有至少两个-NCO基团的异氰酸酯。交联剂的量可以为热升华油墨的约2.5wt%至约10wt%。对聚氨酯预聚体平均分子量的限制为约1000至约6000。聚氨酯预聚体可以从异氰酸酯与羟基官能材料的反应而得到。羟基官能材料可以包括长链二醇、聚醚二醇、聚酯二醇、长链多元醇和聚酯多元醇。异氰酸酯可以包括单异氰酸酯、二异氰酸酯、多异氰酸酯(聚异氰酸酯)、或其任意组合。用于制备聚氨酯预聚体的羟基官能材料典型地具有介于约500至约6000之间的平均分子量(Mn),优选为约2000至约4000之间。
树脂和交联剂可以以使得活性氢与异氰酸酯(-NCO)基团处于化学计量平衡的比例存在。在一些实施方式中,树脂和交联剂可以以范围为约1至约2的-NCO/-OH摩尔比存在。在一些优选的实施方式中,树脂和交联剂可以以约1.5的-NCO/-OH摩尔比存在。
热升华油墨中合适的着色剂可以包括任何可商购的分散染料和颜料,该油墨在约190-210℃升华。着色剂的合适量可以在约25wt%至约30wt%的范围内,并且优选为约27wt%。
热升华油墨中合适的载体可包括脂松香、甘油三酯、蜂蜡、或者其任意组合。在一些实施方式中,热升华油墨中的载体可以是脂松香、甘油三酯和蜂蜡的混合物。在一些实施方式中,热升华油墨可以包含约30wt%的脂松香、约39wt%的甘油三酯和约4wt%的蜂蜡。
热升华油墨可以包含约1wt%至约5wt%的三羟甲基丙烷。
为防止在图像转印到所需织物之前热升华油墨的过早活化,交联剂上的异氰酸酯基团被保护单元封闭。异氰酸酯基团的封闭可通过与具有羟基的保护单元的反应来进行。根据交联剂的官能度的不同,控制反应物的配比以维持异氰酸酯基团与羟基的化学计量平衡。该保护单元应稍微过量,以保证异氰酸酯基团的完全封闭。例如,异氰酸酯基团的当量与羟基基团的当量的摩尔比可以为约1:1.1至约1:1.3的范围。优选地,异氰酸酯基团的当量与羟基基团的当量的摩尔比可为约1:1.2。
优选地,上述封闭过程可在合适的催化剂,如辛酸亚锡催化剂的存在下,在约60-80℃进行。封闭过程的持续时间可以是大约2-8小时,优选约4小时。合适的保护单元(封闭剂)可以包括但不限于未取代的或烷基取代的酚和酮肟。在本申请的一些实施方式中,保护单元可以包括苯酚、己内酰胺、甲基乙基酮肟或其任意组合。用于封闭交联剂的合适的溶剂可以包括丙酮、二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)、甲苯、乙酸乙酯以及其任意混合物。在本申请的一些实施方式中,用于封闭交联剂的溶剂是重量比例为约10:1的DMF和丙酮的混合物。
本申请的热升华油墨可由树脂、被封闭的交联剂、着色剂、载体和任何其他合适的添加剂充分混合为均匀的糊状物来制备。
利用本申请的热升华油墨可将图像用任何常规平版印刷机在转印介质上进行印制。转印介质可以包括任何市售的防粘(release)羊皮纸,例如HANSOL SW-HSTP热转印纸。通过向本申请的热升华油墨加入合适的溶剂以将粘度降低至合适的水平,该油墨也可以在数码打印机上使用,它可以是喷墨打印机或电图装置(electrographic device),如激光打印机或影印机。
用热升华油墨印制的图像可通过加热机构从转印介质转印到相应的织物。除了诸如聚酯、尼龙等的合成织物,适合的织物还包括诸如棉和麻的天然纤维织物。当热升华油墨在约190-210℃加热时,交联剂中被封闭的异氰酸酯基团被解封闭。交联剂的自由异氰酸酯基团和树脂之间产生原位聚合。然后,热升华油墨的着色剂结合到织物上。
本申请的热升华油墨可以用于任何合适的转印方法。合适的转印方法包括适合使用热升华油墨的任何图像形成方法。通过加入合适的溶剂调整热升华油墨的粘度将允许该油墨用于传统印刷、喷墨印刷、静电成像、取样成像(或拉伸成像,draw down imaging)。
实施例1
封闭的聚氨酯预聚体交联剂的制备
1.62克苯酚和0.03克辛酸亚锡被溶解在约2克DMF中。具有平均分子量为约2300的20克甲苯-2,4-二异氰酸酯封端的聚丙二醇(可购自)(PPG-NCO)溶于约100毫升丙酮中。该溶液通过用氮气鼓泡来排除氧气,并通过磁力搅拌器搅拌。然后,PPG-NCO溶液被加入该DMF溶液,并在氮气保护下在约65℃加热4小时,以引发封闭反应。当所有的自由-NCO基团被消耗完时,PU预聚体的封闭完成,其中-NCO基团的消耗使用丙酮丁胺滴定法测定。下面是此封闭反应的方程式。

出于比较的目的,基础热升华油墨被用作本申请的热升华油墨的色牢度的对照品。通过平版印刷机(诺邦NB600混色模拟机),使用来自实施例2-5的热升华油墨和对照品热升华油墨,图像被分别印制到HANSOLSW-HSTP热转印纸上。图像在室温下干燥后,通过热压机在205℃保持60秒,将图像转印到棉织物上。
随后,将棉织物于105°F,在0.15%的1993AATCC标准参考洗涤剂“WOB”溶液中用50个钢球进行机械洗涤45分钟,图像色度的变化根据AATCC 61-2013 2A号标准检测进行评分。结果总结于下表中。

根据上述结果,当使用本申请的热升华油墨时,图像的色牢度被显著改善。在纺织工业中,需要最低水平3的色牢度。用本申请的热升华油墨印制的图像达到或甚至超过工业的要求。
因此,已经公开了用于转印的热升华油墨。然而,对于本领域的技术人员来说应该显而易见的是,在不偏离本文的发明构思的前提下,已经描述的那些内容之外的更多的变形也是可行的。因此,除本公开内容的精神以外不得限制本发明的主题。此外,在解释本公开内容时,所有术语应该以与上下文一致的最宽泛的可能方式进行解释。特别地,术语“包括”、“包含”和“含有”应当被解释为以非排他的方式指代要素、部件或步骤,表明所指代的要素、部件或步骤可以存在、利用或与其他未明确引用的要素、部件或步骤相结合。

Claims (20)

1.一种用于转印的热升华油墨,包含:
含有至少一个活性氢的树脂、具有至少两个异氰酸酯(-NCO)基团的交联剂、和至少一种着色剂。
2.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述含有至少一个活性氢的树脂包含选自由丙烯酸树脂、醇酸树脂、热塑性聚氨酯树脂、和乙烯醋酸乙烯酯共聚物组成的组中的至少一种树脂。
3.根据权利要求2所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述热升华油墨包含0-10wt%的丙烯酸树脂、0-2.5wt%的醇酸树脂、0-5wt%的醛酮树脂、2-10wt%的热塑性聚氨酯树脂、和0-1wt%的乙烯醋酸乙烯酯共聚物。
4.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述含有至少一个活性氢的树脂的总量为油墨的2.5-10wt%。
5.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述具有至少两个异氰酸酯(-NCO)基团的交联剂包含选自由聚氨酯预聚体和具有至少两个-NCO基团的异氰酸酯组成的组中的至少一种交联剂。
6.根据权利要求5所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述交联剂以所述热升华油墨的2.5-10wt%的量存在。
7.根据权利要求5所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述聚氨酯预聚体中的每个具有范围为1000至6000的平均分子量。
8.根据权利要求5所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述聚氨酯预聚体由异氰酸酯与选自由长链二醇、聚醚二醇、聚酯二醇、长链多元醇和聚酯多元醇组成的组中的至少一种羟基官能材料的反应获得。
9.根据权利要求8所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述羟基官能材料具有介于500至6000之间的平均分子量,并且优选为2000至4000之间。
10.根据权利要求8所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述异氰酸酯包含选自由单异氰酸酯、二异氰酸酯、和多异氰酸酯组成的组中的至少一种异氰酸酯。
11.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述树脂和所述交联剂以范围为1至2的-NCO/-OH摩尔比存在,并且优选为1.5。
12.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,进一步包含三羟甲基丙烷。
13.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述着色剂包含选自由分散染料和颜料组成的组中的至少一种着色剂。
14.根据权利要求13所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述着色剂在25-30wt%的范围内,并且优选为27wt%。
15.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,进一步包含至少一种载体。
16.根据权利要求15所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述载体包含选自由脂松香、甘油三酯、和蜂蜡组成的组中的至少一种载体。
17.根据权利要求16所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述载体包含30wt%的脂松香、39wt%的甘油三酯和4wt%的蜂蜡。
18.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述交联剂上的异氰酸酯基团通过与具有至少一个羟基基团的保护单元反应而被封闭。
19.根据权利要求1所述的热升华油墨,其中,由所述热升华油墨印制的图像能够在约190℃至210℃从转印介质转印至天然纤维织物或合成织物。
20.根据权利要求19所述的热升华油墨,其中,所述织物选自由棉、麻、聚酯和尼龙组成的组。
