本发明涉及具有对保持于工具保持部的工具和夹持于主轴的工具进行更换的工具更换装置的机床,特别涉及适合于长工具的更换的工具更换装置。
背景技术
作为适合于例如镗杆等长工具的工具更换的现有工具更换装置,有具备镗杆库的装置,该镗杆库收纳多根镗杆,并且构成为能够使各镗杆直线移动而在规定高度的工具更换位置处推出(例如参照专利文献1)。
此外,有一种工具更换装置,其设置有:驱动平行连杆机构的汽缸机构,该汽缸机构在主轴管上以能够沿轴向移动的方式设置套筒,利用该套筒通过平行连杆机构支承工具;以及在轴向上驱动套筒的汽缸机构;还设置有使套筒绕轴旋转的驱动机构(例如参照专利文献2)。

发明内容
发明所要解决的技术问题
上述专利文献1中记载的现有装置中的镗杆库具有以长镗杆的轴线与主轴的轴线正交的方式、即在从机床正面观察时沿宽度方向延伸的方式收纳该长镗杆的结构,所以存在机床整体在宽度方向上变得大型化这样的问题。
上述专利文献2中记载的现有装置通过复杂的动作相对于主轴装拆工具,所以存在结构复杂这样的问题。
本发明的课题是提供一种机床,其具备即使是长工具也不会使机床整体大型化、且能够以简单的结构进行更换的工具更换装置。
解决技术问题所采用的技术方案
第一发明为一种机床,其具备工具更换装置,上述工具更换装置具有工具保持部和工具更换机构,上述工具保持部保持多个工具,上述工具更换机构对保持于上述工具保持部的工具与夹持于主轴的工具进行更换,其中,上述工具保持部以多根工具的轴线与上述主轴的轴线平行的方式保持该多根工具;上述工具更换机构具有圆弧移动机构,该圆弧移动机构通过使上述工具在包含上述主轴的轴线和位于工具保持部的上述工具的轴线的平面上至少进行圆弧移动,从而使上述工具从工具保持位置移动至与上述主轴的轴线同轴的工具更换位置,其中,上述主轴由于上述工具更换机构和上述主轴的相对移动而位于与各上述工具相应的不同位置。
第二发明是在上述第一发明记载的机床中,上述工具保持部位于上述主轴的侧方。
第三发明是在上述第一发明记载的机床中,上述工具更换机构还具有直线移动机构,该直线移动机构至少在上述圆弧移动之前使上述工具沿着上述工具的轴线方向直线移动。
第四发明是在上述第一至第三发明任一项所述的机床中,上述工具是用于进行长孔加工的镗杆。
发明效果
根据第一发明,以多根工具的轴线与上述主轴的轴线平行的方式来保持该多根工具,所以,即使是长工具,同以与主轴轴线正交的方式进行保持的情况相比,也能使沿主轴轴线方向观察时的机床整体的宽度尺寸小型化。
此外,通过使上述工具在包含主轴的轴线和上述工具的轴线的平面上进行圆弧移动,来使上述工具从工具保持位置移动至与主轴轴线同轴的工具更换位置,所以,与将套筒沿轴线方向驱动并且进行旋转驱动的情况相比,能够简化结构。
根据第二发明,将工具保持部以位于上述主轴的侧方的方式进行配置,所以,根据这一点,也能使在沿主轴轴线方向观察时的机床整体的宽度尺寸小型化。
根据第三发明,除上述圆弧移动机构外,还设置了使上述工具沿轴线方向进行直线移动的直线移动机构,所以,即使是第四发明中的镗杆那样的长工具,也能以其一部分与主轴的工具夹持部在沿宽度方向观察时重叠的方式配置在机床里面侧,可在机床跟前侧确保设置其他机构的空间,并且还能够在主轴轴线方向上使机床整体小型化。
即,在更换工具时,在上述圆弧移动之前,利用直线移动机构使工具消除上述重叠而进行直线移动,然后利用上述圆弧移动机构使工具进行圆弧移动,藉此,即使在以工具的一部分与主轴的工具夹持部重叠的方式进行配置的情况下,也能够没有障碍地实施工具更换。
此外,在将上述直线移动机构构造成在上述圆弧移动之后也使工具直线移动的情况下,在将工具夹持于主轴的工具夹持部时,能避免工具的锥柄部和主轴的锥孔部的干涉,能够更容易且可靠地实施工具更换。

此外,在上述底座3的左侧部竖立设置有构成收纳空间A的间壁5。该间壁5具有侧板5a和前板5b,上述侧板5a形成上述收纳空间A和加工区域B间的边界,上述前板5b与上述侧板5a的前端连接且朝宽度方向斜前方弯折。此外,在上述间壁5上以横跨前板5b和侧板5a的方式形成有成为镗杆T的出入口的开口5c。该开口5c利用滑门6而开闭,该滑门6以能够在上下方向上滑动的方式进行配置。
在上述收纳空间A内上部设置有工具更换装置7,该工具更换装置7实施镗杆T等所谓的长工具的工具更换。另外,在上述收纳空间A内下部设置有目前公知的所谓的双臂型的工具更换装置18,该工具更换装置18实施比镗杆短的工具的更换。
上述工具更换装置7通过安装托架7a被固定在库座3a的前缘,上述库座3a竖立设置在上述底座3的左侧部。该工具更换装置7具有:工具保持部8,该工具保持部8保持多根(本实施例为2根)镗杆T;以及工具更换机构9,该工具更换机构9将保持于上述工具保持部8的镗杆T与夹持于主轴2的镗杆T′更换。具体而言,首先,将夹持于主轴2的镗杆T′保持在上述工具保持部8的一方的空着的保持爪机构11上,接着,将保持在该工具保持部8的另一方的保持爪机构11上的其他的镗杆T夹持于主轴2。
上述工具保持部8具有:保持板10,该保持板10由矩形框状的平板构成,以纵向且与主轴2的轴线2a平行地配置;以及上述上、下两组的保持爪机构11,11,该保持爪机构11,11设置在上述保持板10的里面侧。该各保持爪机构11具有上、下一对的保持爪11a、11b,上侧的保持爪11a通过液压以沿上下方向移动的方式被驱动,能够与下侧的保持爪11b一起将保持槽Tg牢固地夹持,该保持槽Tg形成于镗杆T的锥柄部。由这样的结构形成的上述工具保持部8以使上述镗杆T的轴线与上述主轴2的轴线2a平行且位于上述主轴2的左侧方的方式来保持上述镗杆T。
上述工具更换机构9具有圆弧移动机构12和直线移动机构13。上述圆弧移动机构12通过使上述镗杆T在平面C上进行圆弧移动,从而使上述镗杆T从工具保持位置E移动至与上述主轴2的轴线2a同轴的位置,上述平面C包含位于工具更换位置D的上述主轴2的轴线2a及保持于工具保持部8且位于工具保持位置E的镗杆T的轴线Ta(参照图8)。
上述直线移动机构13在使上述镗杆T进行上述圆弧移动前、后,使上述镗杆T在该镗杆T的轴线Ta方向上直线移动(参照图9、图10、图14、图16)。
另外,在例如将上侧的镗杆T安装于主轴2的情况下,上述工具更换位置D设定为与该上侧的镗杆T相同的Y轴方向高度位置,且设定为与圆弧移动机构12的圆弧移动结束后相同的X轴方向位置。
上述直线移动机构13通过在上述主轴2的轴线2a方向上延伸的支承托架14被螺栓紧固于上述安装托架7a。在上述支承托架14的内侧面,以与上述轴线2a平行地延伸的方式设置有上、下的导轨14a、14a。通过该导轨14a、14a将支承板15支承成能够在上述轴线2a方向上滑动。在该支承板15上连接有滚珠丝杠机构16,该滚珠丝杠机构16使该支承板15直线移动。该滚珠丝杠机构16利用固定于上述支承托架14的驱动电机16a来驱动滚珠丝杠16b旋转,从而使上述支承板15直线移动,上述滚珠丝杠16b通过拧入至固定于上述支承板15背面的螺母构件15c。
上述圆弧移动机构12具有利用平行连杆机构将上述支承板15和保持板10连接的结构。该平行连杆机构通过上、下的连杆臂17、17将支持侧轴15a和保持侧轴10a连接固定,上述支持侧轴15a通过固定于上述支承板15的上、下的轴承15b、15b以能够旋转的方式受到支承,上述保持侧轴10a通过固定于保持板10的上、下的轴承10b、10b以能够旋转的方式受到支承。接着,通过利用汽缸机构等驱动上述支持侧轴15a旋转,从而上述保持板15沿着上述平面C移动。
对本实施例1的工具更换装置7中的工具更换动作,具体而言,对将保持于工具保持部8的上侧的保持爪机构11的镗杆T夹持于主轴2的工具夹持部2b时的动作进行说明。
上述主轴2移动至工具更换位置D。该工具更换位置D设定为与上述上侧的镗杆T相同的Y轴方向高度,且设定为与上述圆弧移动后的镗杆T相同的X轴方向位置。另外,在该状态下,在沿宽度方向观察时,镗杆T处于其锥柄部Tb与主轴2的前端部重叠的位置(参照图13)。
滑门6朝上方滑动,间壁5的开口5c打开(参照图8)。
通过直线移动机构13的驱动电机16a的旋转,支承板15使保持板10及镗杆T沿箭头a1方向前进移动,在沿宽度方向观察时使镗杆T的锥柄部Tb从主轴2的前端部沿箭头a1方向前进移动至不妨碍上述圆弧移动的位置。此时,镗杆T从上述间壁5的开口5c向前方突出(参照图9、图14)。
接着,圆弧移动机构12使连杆臂17转动,藉此,镗杆T在保持其轴线Ta与主轴轴线2a平行的状态下,在上述平面C上呈圆弧地沿箭头a2方向移动,在连杆臂17转动90度时,镗杆T的轴线Ta与主轴2的轴线2a一致(参照图10、图15)。
接着,通过上述直线移动机构13的驱动电机16a的与上面方向相反的旋转,支承板15使保持板10及镗杆T沿箭头a3方向后退,镗杆T的锥柄部Tb被插入主轴2的工具夹持部2a的锥孔中,通过内置的缩回机构被夹持于该工具保持部2a(参照图11、图16)。
接着,保持爪机构11的基于保持爪11a的夹持被解除,主轴2沿X轴方向移动,从而镗杆T被从保持部8沿箭头a4方向拔出(参照图12)。
根据本实施例1的工具更换装置7,以使镗杆T的轴线Ta与上述主轴2的轴线2a平行的方式且使轴线Ta位于上述主轴2的左侧方的位置的方式保持镗杆T,所以即使是镗杆T这样的长工具,同以与主轴轴线2a正交的方式进行保持的情况相比,也能将在沿主轴轴线2a方向观察时的机床整体的宽度尺寸(X轴方向尺寸)小型化。
此外,通过使上述镗杆T在包含主轴2的轴线2a和上述镗杆T的轴线Ta的平面C上进行圆弧移动,来使上述镗杆T从工具保持位置E移动至与主轴轴线2a同轴的工具更换位置D,所以,仅利用连杆机构就能使镗杆T在宽度方向上移动,能够简化结构。
此外,除上述圆弧移动机构12外,还设置了使上述镗杆T沿轴线Ta方向直线移动的直线移动机构13,所以,镗杆T的锥柄部Tb能以与主轴2的工具夹持部2a在沿宽度方向观察时重叠的方式配置,即配置在机床里面侧,能够将机床整体在主轴轴线2a方向上也能小型化,并且,在大型工件载放于工件台上时,即使工件台移动,也不会发生与工件的干涉。
具体而言,在工具更换时,在上述圆弧移动之前,利用直线移动机构13使镗杆T前进移动至解除上述重叠且不妨碍圆弧移动的位置,然后利用上述圆弧移动机构12使工具进行圆弧移动,从而能够避免镗杆T干涉主轴2,能够实现工具更换。
此外,通过上述直线移动机构13,以在上述圆弧移动之后使镗杆T后退移动的方式构成,所以,能够避免相互的干涉而将镗杆T的锥柄部Tb可靠地插入主轴2的工具夹持部2a的锥孔中,能进一步容易且可靠地实施工具更换。

Claims (4)

1.一种机床,其具备工具更换装置,所述工具更换装置具有工具保持部和工具更换机构,所述工具保持部保持多个工具,所述工具更换机构对保持于所述工具保持部的工具与夹持于主轴的工具进行更换,其特征在于,
所述工具保持部以多根工具的轴线与所述主轴的轴线平行的方式保持该多根工具;
所述工具更换机构具有圆弧移动机构,该圆弧移动机构通过所述工具更换机构和所述主轴的相对移动,使所述工具在包含位于与各所述工具相应的不同工具更换位置的所述主轴的轴线和位于工具保持部的所述工具的轴线的平面上至少进行圆弧移动,从而使所述工具从工具保持位置移动至与所述主轴的轴线同轴的工具更换位置。
2.如权利要求1所述的机床,其特征在于,所述工具保持部位于所述主轴的侧方。
3.如权利要求1所述的机床,其特征在于,所述工具更换机构还具有直线移动机构,该直线移动机构至少在所述圆弧移动之前使所述工具沿着所述工具的轴线方向直线移动。
4.如权利要求1至3中任一项所述的机床,其特征在于,所述工具是用于进行长孔加工的镗杆。
