发明的概括
本发明的窗罩具有包括第一和第二织物的结构。第一织物基本上是平的,具有长度和宽度的尺寸。第二织物也具有长度和宽度尺寸。第二织物的长度尺寸比第一织物的长度尺寸长。第二织物沿跨越两个织物宽度的方向延伸的线连接到第一织物上,每条连接线沿织物长度的方向有一个间隔。在任何两个连接线之间第二织物的长度对第一织物的长度之比大于1。
窗帘还包括连接窗帘的滚柱(roller)。窗帘可以有选择地卷在滚柱上。这种特点能保证使用方便和安全。
除了附着在两种织物之间的连接线上的第一和第二织物外,窗帘还包括织物的管子,以盖住连接线。管子可以用各种尺寸和颜色。除了盖住连接线外,同时它们表现出一种令人喜爱的美观。

发明的详细描述
图1-3举例说明本发明的一个优选实施例。一个用于建筑中开孔的帘罩通常用20表示。帘罩20具有大体上平的第一织物22。织物22最好用40号聚酯针织物制成。该织物由美国北卡罗来纳州格林斯波罗(Greensboro)的吉尔福特(Guilford)工厂制造,产品号为34,414。其它物料也可用于制造第一织物22。可以用作第一织物的其它物料的例子包括(但并不限于)聚合物薄膜、非织造物、机织织物、针织品和毛毡。
第一织物22上附着第二织物24。第二织物24的长度大于第一织物22的长度。第二织物24通常由比第一织物22更美观的织物制成,因为第二织物通常为窗帘的装饰面。优选的第二织物是由美国北卡罗来纳州格林斯波罗(Greensboro)的伯林顿(Burlington)工厂制造的缎纹组织聚酯物。这种织物特别令人感兴趣的是,它的一面是正式使用的而另一面是非正式使用的。这使得一种织物在使用时产生两种明显不同的外观。可以用于制造第二织物24的其它织物和物料包括(但并不限于)薄膜、非织造物、针织品、机织织物、薄纱和毛毡。
第二织物24在许多连接线26处附着在第一织物22上。在优选实施例中,连接线26互相隔有一个相等的间隔。该间隔可以是任何距离。连接线之间较好距离的范围为1英寸至6英寸左右,最佳距离为3英寸。
对特定窗帘上所有间隔来说,连接线26之间第二织物24的长度对第一织物22的长度之比例是恒定的。对于两种优选的织物22和24来说,最佳的比例约为1.66。此比例对不同种类的织物可以变化。比例的变化可使产品具有不同的功能和美感。1.66的比例可形成一个具有环圈底部30的环圈28,环圈底部30下垂得比限定该环圈上下边缘的两个连接线26中最低的一个连接线更低。在此种构型中,环圈28挡住较低连接线26使其看不见。
环圈下垂的距离取决于第二织物24所采用的织物。沿窗帘长度方向的硬挺纤维织物不会下垂得象沿长度方向的柔软纤维织物那么多。如果采用柔软的织物,那么第一织物和第二织物的长度之比例可以调整到最佳下垂。最佳下垂是从横切于第一织物22形成的平面的直线观看时盖住了下连接线26的下垂量。
如果帘罩是通过围绕滚柱卷起帘罩而相对于窗帘升降的,则同类似于小型百叶窗帘或典型的网格状窗帘升高和收拢帘罩的方式不同,那么由于帘罩有两层,而每层当它们围绕滚柱卷起时存在着周边差异,因此就可能遇到向上卷起的问题。如果每个间隔中第二织物的量恰巧等于两个织物卷起时都不存在应力时所需要的量,那么,当织物展平时,在两种织物之间将产生一个小气袋或网格。当织物展平时该气袋或网格就向外扩展。当卷起直径增大时,该气袋变薄,再假定向上卷起而对两个织物都不存在应力,那么两个织物在导热和装饰方面都不太理想。但是,如果第二织物制成稍大于向上卷起而完全适应的尺寸,这样制成的网格将在帘子达到全长度时可以观察到,这会使更多的顾客感到满意。不褶皱的网格,即网格很薄因而向上卷起时不会使装饰织物的网格褶皱,具有在其宽度上使窗帘织物挺刮的某些作用,并使织物表面波纹适度,但从美感角度看是不太理想的。
为了充分利用卷起窗帘时两个织物之间的周边差异所产生的网格扩展,并满意地处理上述因素,在产品卷起前用扁平产品制成网格。如图1-4所示和本发明另一些实施例中的网格是用相对于第一织物超量的第二织物制成的。当制成品在滚柱上卷起时,网格相对于卷形物被弄平,由于卷形物直径而造成精确的周边差异。当网格变平时形成折皱,折皱与卷形物直径的周边差异相符。当卷形物展开时,由于第一织物变平和卷形物上折皱造成的折痕位置,网格向外扩展。当帘子拉开时,超量的织物还可以挡住连接线。
有折皱的一个次要好处在于,当向上卷起在网格上产生的张力被释放时,折皱起弹簧的作用并推动网格张开。这很有价值,因为它进一步增大由周边差异造成的扩展。这种附加的扩展程度取决于半折皱织物的尺寸稳定性。参照图5,折皱64和66作用于第二织物使其离开第一织物52 。如果折皱64和66之间的织物距离不太短或不太长,那么就产生向上的表面67,增大表面织物的压缩率,并增大褶裥的丰度。
连接线26最好是一种粘连接线,但也可采用超声熔接、加热熔接、缝合连接或其它类型的连接线,如图3所示,粘合剂涂于第一片(Sheet)32和第二片(Sheet)34之间。粘合线36和38的位置决定连接线40和42的位置。连接线40和42之间的距离为一个间隔的长度。许多连接线制成一个帘罩,因此每个帘罩有许多个间隔。
用来连接片32和34的优选粘合剂为熔点低于120℃的聚酯共聚物。由于聚合物主要成份的性质,此种粘合剂能很好地粘合聚酯织物。如果使用其它织物替代优选织物,可能需要不同的粘合剂来获得合适的粘结强度。
重新参照图1和2,帘罩20附着在滚柱21上。滚柱21可以是任何种类的滚柱窗帘构件系统。一种此类系统由美国康涅狄格州斯坦福的通用离合器公司制造,商标为ROLL-EASE。滚柱可以由传统的弹簧驱动,或是由靠环圈软绳驱动的常规离合器机构操作,软绳有合适的长度,使它可位于儿童摸不着的地方。
为了将帘罩20连接在滚柱21上,沿滚柱21的长度方向放置一条双面胶粘带。将此种胶粘带上的普通衬纸从带上揭去,而后将帘罩20的片22放在胶粘纸上并按压就位。非常重要的是连接线26应平行于滚柱21的长度。这保证帘罩20不会歪斜。也可以使用机械紧固方法将帘罩20保持在滚柱21上。一种此类常规方法使用滚柱中的槽和板条插入物。片22围绕板条安置,而板条插入槽中。这样将片22夹进板条和槽之间,将片22保持就位。帘罩20最好向上卷起,使得第一织物相对第二织物而言始终是内径织物。
帘罩20安装在带有安装托架23的窗子开孔的附近。安装托架23可以装在滚柱21的端部。托架23可安装在窗户口附近,帘置预定要保护和覆盖此开口。本发明可以采用任意号码的熟知的安装托架。上述ROLL-EASE滚柱系统包括了各种托架。
因为第二织物向上卷起时始终比第一织物位于距滚柱更大的半径上,假定物料被卷起,使得第二织物总是在第一织物的外面,所以当窗罩展开时,第二织物的过剩量将从第一织物向外扩展,形成打开的网格。被卷起的织物中的曲率的调整也有助于这一过程。因为第二织物被卷起时并不象常规的罗马式网格窗帘那样聚拢,所以第二织物在重复使用后将保持其丰满度。
图4和5表示的是本发明的另一个实施例。这个设计类似于图1至3所示,差别在于环圈是折皱的。帘罩50具有第一织物52和第二织物54。第二织物54在连接线56处连到第一织物52上。第二织物54比第一织物52长,使得连接线之间片长度之比大于1。在连接线60和62之间由第二织物54确定的环圈58在两个位置折皱。折皱64是内折皱,折皱66是外折皱。
当向上卷起是连接线之间第一片52和第二片54的连接的长度比和第二片54所用物料类型的函数时,折皱环圈58的量将变化。物料对折皱具有比环圈尺寸更大的影响。
如果第二片所用物料是用不吸湿的聚合物制成的,折皱将减小。聚酯是一种此类物料。其它物料包括(但并不限于)聚丙烯和聚乙烯。如果第二织物是用吸湿物料制成的,折皱就明显。此类物料的例子有尼龙、人造丝和棉。有环圈的帘罩当向上卷起时通常会折叠或折皱。如果存在湿气而第二片由吸收某些湿气的物料类制成,那么折皱将会调整。因为折皱是由向上卷起造成的,折皱64和66的位置将随环圈而变化,原因是当帘罩向上卷起时卷形物的直径是变化的。
图6表示另一种帘罩70,它的第二织物74对第一织物72的长度比在每个间隔内小于约1.4。这一比例形成稍许对称的环圈76而且它并不挡住连接线78。当然,1.4的比例取决于所使用的织物。
图7表示又一种帘罩80,它具有两种不同类型的连接线。位于环圈84顶部的连接线82是通过将第二织物86附着在第一织物88上,然后将环圈84往回折叠到连接线82上而制成的。形成的环圈比图1-3所示帘罩的环圈稍许丰满。
图8表示本发明的另一种构造,其中使用管子90挡住连接线92。管子90可用任何一种物料制成。一种典型的物料是38克/平方米的聚酯纺粘型非织造织物。管子用粘合剂粘附在连接线92上。管子可以有各种直径,尺寸范围最好从1/4英寸到大于2英寸。管子可以有不同的截面形状;它可以有对比颜色;而且它可以结合在具有不同环圈大小和形状的帘罩中。
图9中表示加一种物料的实心条100而不是管子来盖住帘罩104的连接线102。这种物料条可以是软绳、塑料条、绳索或某种其它物料。实心条100粘合固定在连接线102上。
优选实施例的一种有趣的变化是采用使连接线之间具有许多不同的间隔,而不是单一的间隔。这用图10所示的帘罩来表示。用连接线110和112之间长度差别表示的间隔不同于用连接线112和114之间长度差别表示的间隔。这产生一种非常有趣的美感效果。环圈116的尺寸可大可小。
本发明的某些其它变化包括如图11中所示的在每个环圈132的顶部外加叠层条130;或者如图12所示的在帘罩两侧使用三维的织物片131;或者如图13所示使用织物的垂直条133作第二片以产生不同形状、大小和颜色的环圈;或者如图14所示利用水平条带135形成不同颜色和织构的环圈。
安置在底布两侧的网格使装饰性的网格形状能够面对窗子和房间。但是在此种情况下,窗子网格将比面对房间的网格更扁平,因为它们将面对滚柱向上卷起。
图15表示在网格前面连接在滚柱上的自由悬挂的织物134,其底部136附着在底布137上。在这种构型中,截留在织物和网格之间的空气大大改善帘罩的绝热性能。自由悬挂的织物134也可用在帘罩的网格前面产生美感效果的半透明物料制成,因为绝热,并不需要连接在网格帘罩的底部,而相反可具有自己的贴边条。
图16表示图4的网格结构,带有类似于第一层的第二层网格138,附着在第一层上改善其绝热性能。可以以类似方式加上附加层,在每种情况下在已安装网格的中部具有为新层用的附着线139。
现在参照图17,表示完成图1-3的实施例用的设备的图解。为了生产织物,提供有第一织物141和第二织物143。第二织物143的进料必须比第一织物141快,以便为环圈的形成提供过量织物。过置的第二织物必须拉离第一织物,然后第二织物必须在拉出的过量第二织物的位置牢固地连接到第一织物上。然后必须卷绕第一和第二织物的并合件145,以备储存或进一步加工。
提供了两个放松的织物卷,一个用以支持第一织物140的原卷,一个用以支持第二织物142的原卷。在优选实施例中放松的原卷140和142并未被驱动,相反它们配备了常规的气闸(未图示)。该闸可以调节,以提供不同的张力程度。闸提供的张力可以利用常规的张力控制器来进一步控制,该张力控制器包括一个锥形板来适应由卷直径的减小和随后卷重量的减小而引起的张力变化。放松的卷装在机器的主架上并由其支持。
第一织物141和第二织物143是分别通过调整辊147和149及一系列驱动辊148从每个相应的放松卷上进料的。调整辊帮助维持织物上的恒定张力并调整织物的变化速度。驱动辊148的系列帮助调整织物并将其送入环圈形成区和密封区。第一织物用的最后驱动辊144是用硅酮橡胶制成的,并位于粘合剂头150下面,它沿着第一织物的全宽度方向进行线性移动。硅酮橡胶辊对粘合剂耐热,并且不会粘住粘合剂。
驱动辊144也是发粘的,这有助于驱动物料通过设备。第一织物141与在粘合剂头下通过的硅酮供应辊部分紧密接触。第一织物位于驱动辊144和粘合剂头之间。
织物周期性地停下来等待连接并施加粘合剂160。驱动机构为断续驱动型。机器上的辊最好对每一次粘合通过一个完全的转动。这种驱动机构是大家熟知的。这种驱动的一个典型例子是由美国佛罗里达州塔姆帕(Tampa)的日内瓦(Geneva)系统公司制造的“日内瓦机构”。
当驱动辊锁定时,就施加粘合剂。粘合剂160以细行沿与织物移动的工作方向横切的方向施加。粘合剂头安装在线性导轨(未图示)上并沿轨道长度被驱动。同步驱动装置驱动排液(变容)旋转泵,该泵将粘合剂供应给粘合剂头。这保证不管粘合剂头的行进速度如何都会有等量的粘合剂施加上去。一旦粘合剂在第一织物的全宽度被施加上,驱动辊受到驱动,而两个织物片就向前行进。
同第二织物行进的速率相比较的第一织物行进的速率是由驱动每种织物的相应驱动辊的齿轮尺寸决定的。齿轮可以选择尺寸来提供任何预选的第二织物对第一织物的速度比。一旦粘合剂被加到第一织物上,第一织物和第二织物就以提供合适的第二织物长度对第一织物长度之比率所需要的适当速度前进而通过粘合剂再作用装置。两种织物停下来,接着进行织物的粘合。
粘合剂再作用装置可以是若干种装置中的任何一种。优选装置是一各常规的超声焊接装置,它包括一个与砧座154结合的超声触杆。触杆153与砧座154相距约1英寸的间隙。这使织物容易通过再作用装置。当两种织物将要连接时,织物通过机器的行进停下来,同时施加粘合剂。最好是机器可以停顿两次,一次是外加粘合剂,而后是再作用粘合剂,但是在这样的情况下,粘合剂外加器头和粘合剂再作用装置之间的空间间隔并不与连接线之间间隔相同。最佳的方法是使粘合剂外加和粘合剂粘合同时发生。一旦停顿,早先外加的粘合剂线与触杆153和砧座154要对准。触杆153移动,与织物和砧座154接触,这使得第一织物粘合到第二织物上。一旦通过足够的时间以充分地使粘合剂粘合,织物就继续行进。另一种使粘合剂再作用的方法包括使用热压辊随后使用冷压辊,或者使用其作用类似于超声装置的热靴。连接织物的其它方法包括缝合、超声密封和其它相似方法。
直接安置在触杆和砧座下面的是一个真空导管156。真空导管通过织物的全宽度。导管的入口为矩形,宽约2英寸,长度与驱动辊144相同。通过导管入口抽出2~3英寸水柱的负压。这个负压是用常规的大容量离心鼓风机(未图示)来完成的,导管就连接在鼓风机的入口上。鼓风机每分钟排气约1000立方英尺。
真空导管156吸引过量的第二织物143使之离开第一织物141。它同时吸引过量的织物从触杆和砧座之间离开。从某种意义上说,在使粘合剂再作用和随后连接织物之前导管起第二织物的拉力蓄力器的作用。使用真空导管可以形成没有皱纹的均匀环圈。
一旦两个织物被连接,就重复这过程而形成另一环圈,然后又一环圈依次继续进行。并合织物145然后卷在卷绕辊158上。这是在小的张力下进行的,有助于尽可能减小环圈在最终使用前过早折皱。织物被卷绕在一个直径最好为3英寸或3英寸以下的芯筒上。一个3英寸直径的芯筒会尽可能接近织物最终被卷上去的滚柱的直径。如果并合织物的环圈产生折皱,这些折皱的位置会接近窗帘在使用时的真实位置。通常会发生错误位置上的暂时性折皱,但是接近正确位置(真实滚柱上的折皱)的暂时性折皱是可以接受的,而且通常是可以恢复的。如果折皱离得很远,那就很难再在合适位置重新折皱了。卷绕辊上织物的最佳长度约为200英尺,虽然也可储存更多织物。卷绕辊上多于200英尺的织物会使卷形物的外径扩展到一个界限,在此界限下很可能会发生错误位置上的临时性折皱。
应该注意到,卷绕辊158的驱动速度须等于第一织物的驱动辊的速度或略快于后者。这样做是为了在第一织物上保持恒定的张力,使得第一织物不会与第二织物一起被吸入真空导管中。
根据本发明在设计窗帘时考虑下面情况是重要的,即窗帘所用织物的厚度可决定滚柱直径,但是,本发明对于短距离来说折叠线有特加的两层织物。如果折叠线之间的距离恰巧等于卷起的织物的周边,那么就会出现所有折叠线互相重叠在顶上的情况,造成织物卷沿直径偏心。这对于周边的偶数倍或偶数分之一也是正确的。因为卷起织物的周边随其每圈而变化,所以如果所有网格高度相等,那么只有一些折叠线可能恰巧叠加在彼此的顶上。但是,避免这种不愿发生的情况出现的一种办法是,当网格高度小于其卷形物周边时,要防止任何网格高度是其卷形物周边的偶数分之一。当网格高度大于其卷形物直径时,网格高度应当不等于卷形物周边的偶数倍。
虽然本发明的公开采用了它的优选实施例,但应理解,还可以有其它实施例符合本发明的精神和范围。
一个此种实施例包括密封网格的端部,使它们在窄轨中滑动,以改善窗框中窗帘的端部密封。
另一个此种实施例可以使用稀疏的网眼作为面向窗子的织物,在这种情况下帘罩在温暖天气下仍可用于隐避使用而允许空气通过它流通。
又一个此种实施例包括使用金属化织物或薄膜作为第一织物,为帘罩提供遮光的能力。
还应当知道,如果窗帘用图13中所示的网格垂直条带制成,那么通过在条带上粘合不同的织物可以在任何网格上产生织物的变化,从而产生沿垂直方向的颜色变化。

Claims (32)

1.一种控制光和视线用的物品,包括:
具有第一长度和第一宽度的第一物料片;
具有第二长度和第二宽度的第二物料片;
上述第二长度大于上述第一长度;
上述第二片沿跨越第一片和第二片宽度的窄连接线固定到该第一片上,从而沿该第一片的第一长度形成许多个间隔开的平行连接线,在上述第二片上任何两个相邻连接线之间的间隔与上述第一片上任何两个相邻连接线之间的间隔之比大于1;
具有外周的滚柱,上述第一和第二片可通过操作连接在滚柱上,该滚柱适合于可转动地将上述帘子从低的位置卷绕升到高的位置,反之亦然,在帘子的高的位置,第一和第二片卷绕在滚柱的外周上,第二片确定的环圈包括足够长度的物料,使第二片沿位于两相邻连接线之间的两个折叠而在其本身上进行折叠。
2.一种如权利要求1所述的物品,其特征在于,上述第一片上任何两个连接线之间的间隔均不等于下列数值中的任何一项:
a、其卷形物周边的偶数分之一;
b、其卷形物的准确周边;
c、其卷形物周边的偶数倍。
3.一种如权利要求1所述的物品,其特征在于,上述第一片上相邻连接线之间的间隔与滚柱周边的相互关系是这样的,即上述滚柱上连接线之间的第一物料的间距的任何累加整数都不同于上述卷形物周边的任何整数倍。

连续地供应第一和第二片物料;
确定沿隔开的平行连接线将上述第二片物料粘合到上述第一片物料上的位置;

27.如权利要求25的方法,其特征在于,上述各片物料是通过运送辊送到上述位置的。
28.如权利要求24的方法,其特征在于,上述粘合介质施加到上述第一物料上。
29.如权利要求24的方法,其特征在于,上述粘合介质是在连接线上施加的。
30.如权利要求25的方法,其特征在于,上述环圈紧邻该位置形成。
31.制造有环圈的网格状织物并合件用的设备,该织物并合件有具有第一长度和第一宽度的第一片物料,具有第二长度和第二宽度的第二片物料,该第二长度大于该第一长度,该第二片沿跨越第一片宽度的窄连接线固定到第一片上,以形成许多个沿第一片的第一长度间隔开的连接线,两上相邻连线之间的第二片的间隔与第一片的间隔之比大于1,上述设备包括上述第一片物料的供料卷,上述第二片物料的供料卷,以第一预定速度断续地供给上述第一片物料用的第一片驱动机构,以第二预定速度断续地供给上述第二片物料用的第二片驱动机构,该第二速度大于该第一速度,沿间隔开的粘合线粘合上述两片物料用的粘合剂粘合机构,连接到真空源上的真空导管,在该位置接合两个间隔的粘合线之间的第二片,用以吸引过量的第二片物料离开第一片物料,以便在每对间隔的粘合线之间产生一个均匀而无皱纹的环圈,以及接受粘合后的片物料用的卷取辊。
