一种头层皮皮带制作工艺,该工艺包括以下步骤：
1）、选皮：选择皮革革面平整、厚薄均匀、无起壳、裂浆 ，表面无严重折痕；
2）、磨砂：将平整处理过后的革坯表面进行抛光处理，并将粒面疤痕或粗糙的纤维磨蚀，露出整齐均匀的皮革纤维组织；
3）、开料：根据要求及尺寸规格用切割机将整齐的皮质裁切成所需要幅面规格；
4）、冲尾与冲孔：通过裁切皮带尾的工具进行冲尾；冲尾后将其皮面冲孔；
5）、泡色：将其冲尾和冲孔好的革坯放入染色液内进行泡色；泡色完后将革坯平放静置过夜或经过烘道蒸汽机进行高温干燥，温度控制在50℃-60℃；
6）、泡油：将革坯泡色干燥后进行泡油；泡油完后将革坯平放静置过夜或经过烘道蒸汽机进行高温干燥，温度控制在50℃-60℃；
7）、喷涂：用喷浆机或手工将涂饰剂喷涂在革坯面上；
8）、压光：经过压光机压光后即得成品。
作为进一步改进，所述的裁切皮带尾的工具有V形和U形两种形状。
