振动声学事件或许可以独立于任何使用者输入而发生。例如,通过将智能电话置于桌上,产生在性质上类似于手指点击屏幕的冲击的机械振动。然而,在没有配对的触摸屏事件的情况下,不触发任何触摸事件。
进一步地,存在可使用声学处理来对触摸的类型进行分类的技术(例如,FingeSense)。因此,本发明的某些实施例可采用此类算法,从而使得仅仅手指触摸声学事件和触摸屏事件触发系统触摸事件。任何其他冲击类型/声音将导致触摸被拒绝,进一步增强了鲁棒性。还可采用处理来拒绝未能满足选定标准(例如峰值阈值或信号形状要求)的传感器输出。
