Abstract

Description
背景技术
用于制造用于食品(例如,咸味零食、肉类和奶酪)、甚至非食品(例如清洁剂、织物柔顺剂等)的小袋形式的包装的层压制品通过将两个膜层压到一起而制成。通常上膜是反印的且随后被层压至相似的膜或相异的膜。在包装中所用的常规层压制品结构的示例的非详尽清单包括:
●BOPP(双向拉伸聚丙烯)/反印的/粘性的/可热封的金属化的BOPP(用于咸味零食的典型层压制品结构);
●PET/反印的/粘性的/高阻隔密封膜(用于特定处理的肉类和奶酪的典型结构);
●PE/反印的/粘性的/密封的PE膜(用于清洁剂的典型结构);和
●BOPP/反印的/粘性的/BOPP(用于瓶上标签的典型结构)。
在印刷和层压中所涉及的典型步骤包括透明的第一膜的反印、将第一膜层压到第二膜、在任何和/或所有步骤期间的固化。层压制品还可以经受可选的后处理步骤,例如切割、产品填充等。

在单独的第二步骤中,利用层压设备(例如,层压机),通过粘合剂将所印刷的第一膜层压至第二膜。层压粘合剂的示例包括(a)无溶剂粘合剂(例如,可用作两部分体系的聚氨酯类型的粘合剂,例如Henkel Liofol LA7773-21/LA6016-21无溶剂粘合剂);(b)基于溶剂的粘合剂(例如这可以是一部分体系或两部分体系);和(c)基于水的粘合剂。
粘合剂(b)和粘合剂(c)需要使用热力干燥机,而粘合剂(a)不需要热力干燥机。粘合剂(b)和粘合剂(c)可以通过凹版方法或柔版方法来施加,但是粘合剂(a)需要特定的三辊式涂布机以施加。这些特定的粘合剂施加方法通常可以在层压设备上实现。并且,这些粘合剂都是考虑时间的固化粘合剂。因此,根据所选的粘合剂的最终用途需求和类型,固化时间可以在任何位置从约24小时变化至约10天。在该固化时间期间,粘合剂必须保持在受控环境中以确保层压制品的合适粘结。
在固化之后,层压制品准备进行其他可选的操作步骤,诸如切割、产品填充等。
层压制品的发展随时间而演变。例如,存在用以实现来自这些层压制品粘合剂的即时粘结以允许市场要求的即时的后处理步骤以及因此较短的周转时间的市场需求。能量固化的UV粘合剂或EB粘合剂满足了这些需求。多个立即固化EB粘合剂的示例公开于美国专利申请公布No.2003/0031865、No.2006/003123、No.2006/000312和No.2006/0000545和美国专利No.8,163,127中。选择EB是因为其穿透不透明膜以固化粘合剂的能力,以及更容易地与食品法规相符。
还存在开发即时固化阻隔性粘合剂的市场需求。该阻隔性粘合剂除了提供优异的即时粘结之外,还必须提供对于特定包装用途所需的优异的氧气和香味阻隔性。该技术公开在包括以下的各个专利中:美国专利No.6,399,171、No.6,514,584、No.6,436,498、No.6,416,817和No.7,026,635。
然而,当前已知的层压工艺一直具有需要解决的技术限制以及成本无效率问题。
例如,以上描述的含有最终白色油墨层的所有第一基底需要被层压到第二膜,这需要使用单件的层压设备以及如所指出的层压粘合剂。这需要额外的设备和材料。
各种EB合适的有机功能性的gelflex油墨被描述在公开号为2013/0192483、2012/0220683和2011/0247508的美国专利申请中。该油墨例如可以用EB以约30kGy至约35kGy的剂量以及约110kV的电子能量固化。在一些实施方式中,最终白色被施加到初始油墨层,其然后全部通过电子束被固化到一起。然而,如上文指出,该固化的基底然后必须利用将层粘结在一起的单独的粘合剂材料在单独的层压站被层压至另一基底。需要更加成本有效的和技术上先进的溶液。
发明内容
在一个实施方式中,本申请的发明人考虑了更有效的方法,其通过将可EB固化的层压粘合剂性能并入印刷的第一膜基底的最终白色油墨层,然后将第一膜基底层压至第二膜基底,最终用一个电子束处理步骤固化整个层压结构。该方法更加精简,需要较少的设备且需要较少的固化步骤。
令所有发明人惊讶的是,该方法可行并且是意料之外的。考虑可EB固化的最终白色层,出乎意料地,具有油墨的较高的颜料负载以实现所需的粘度以及选择EB合适的可固化成分,产生了这样的油墨:当固化时,该油墨建立了在基底之间的合适粘性以及所需的最终产品的总体粘结性。

实施例2

Claims (16)
1.一种制造层压制品的方法,包括:
用最终可能量固化的粘性油墨涂覆至少第一基底的至少一部分;
将至少第二基底施加至所述第一基底的所涂覆的部分以形成层压制品;和将所述层压制品固化。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,在固化之前,对所述层压制品施加压力。
3.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中,利用辊施加压力。
4.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中,利用EB能量或UV能量使所述层压制品固化。
5.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述可能量固化的粘性油墨被着色。
6.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中,通过流涂施加所述可能量固化的粘性油墨。
7.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中,通过花纹涂装施加所述可能量固化的粘性油墨。
8.一种粘性油墨组合物,所述粘性油墨组合物包括至少一种丙烯酸酯单体、至少一种颜料、至少一种润湿剂和至少一种分散剂。
9.如权利要求8所述的粘性油墨组合物,其中,所述至少一种颜料以约40%至约50%的量存在。
10.如权利要求8所述的粘性油墨组合物,还包括稳定剂。
11.如权利要求8至10所述的粘性油墨组合物,还包括光引发剂。
12.如权利要求8至11所述的粘性油墨组合物,还包括酸性官能团三丙烯酸酯单体。
13.如权利要求8至12所述的粘性油墨组合物,其中,所述组合物是可EB固化的。
14.如权利要求8至12所述的粘性油墨组合物,其中,所述组合物是可UV固化的。
15.如权利要求8至14所述的粘性油墨组合物,其中,所述组合物具有良好的不透明度。
16.如权利要求8至14所述的粘性组合物,其中,所述组合物对选自由以下构成的组的膜呈现出粘性:BOPP、涂覆的PET、金属化的BOPP、PE coex、高阻隔基密封膜、和铝箔和聚烯烃基密封膜。
