Abstract

技术领域
本发明大体来说涉及柔性包装,且更具体来说,涉及具有搭接或鳍状封条的包装、以及用于形成及使用包装的方法。
背景技术
柔性包装用于容纳各种各样的固体及液体两种商品,例如饮料、草坪产品及食物产品。越来越多的包装(包括柔性包装)正被用于容纳及/或分配食物、液体或医用产品。
使用单条拉链锁定部件(例如,压合条等)的当前方法存在重大缺点,所述锁定部件在横向方向上被密封至材料卷坯且在包装形成期间被折叠并锁定至自身上。当材料卷坯附装跨接封闭装置时,使所述封闭装置相对于材料的各边缘缩进,以得到其中在制成包装时将形成包装搭接封条或鳍状封条的材料区段。如果两端均延伸至鳍状或搭接封条中,则拉链的轮廓会过厚,且将会在鳍状或搭接封条中留下间隙,所述间隙可能会使空气或产品进入包装及从包装中漏出。
参照图1-4,其显示利用传统封闭装置12及方法(例如,拉链、压合条等)的传统包装10。封闭装置12在横向于材料卷坯11的方向上被密封至所述卷坯,且在形成包装10时被折叠并锁定至自身上。那些被提供为拉链装置的封闭装置12可包括前面可互锁部件13及背面可互锁部件15、以及适于密封或以其他方式附装至包装的一个或多个凸缘部分。
当材料卷坯附装跨接封闭装置12时,通常使封闭装置12相对于材料的边缘16、18缩进或以其他方式使封闭装置12比边缘16、18短某一距离,以得到在制成包装10时将会形成包装搭接封条或鳍状封条20的材料区段。如果两端均延伸至鳍状或搭接封条20中,则拉链封闭装置12的轮廓会过厚,且将会在鳍状或搭接封条中留下间隙AG,所述间隙AG可能会使空气或产品进入包装10及从包装10中漏出。
此外,形成枕式或侧面角撑式包装的方法并不精确,且几乎不可能在封闭装置的各端上留出精确的空间量来形成恰当尺寸的鳍状或搭接封条。通常,拉链实际上延伸得稍短,以便确保其不会进入鳍状封条20中,且拉链仅尽可能合理地靠近鳍状封条(例如,邻近或接近封条)。在形成包装时,此过程实际上会在封闭装置的各端之间留下可能会让空气及包装中的小颗粒产品从中通过的间隙AG(图4)。这是许多公司或消费者所不能接受的,因为他们需要的是尽可能接近气密性的包装。
发明内容
本发明解决柔性包装及包装行业所面临的某些问题。本发明的实施例涉及一种具有拉链、包装及/或封闭特征、构造、结构的柔性包装以及形成方法,以减少或甚至消除可能在传统包装的鳍状或搭接封条区域处存在的气隙。
本发明提供一种柔性包装,其具有封闭装置及搭接或鳍状封条,所述柔性包装减少或消除在传统包装的鳍状或搭接封条部分处存在的气隙。在某些实施例中,所述包装可包括膜以及被施加至所述膜的封闭装置。桥接材料被提供至所述膜提供,以在所述封闭装置处于被密封状态时填充所述气隙。在某些替代实施例中,所述柔性包装可包括膜且具有横向于所述膜的第一侧边缘及第二侧边缘而被施加至所述膜的封闭装置,其中第一侧边缘部分延伸至鳍状封条中,使得第一侧边缘部分的至少一部分会消除位于鳍状封条与第一侧边缘部分及第二侧边缘部分中的至少一个侧边缘部分之间的气隙。

参照图5-8,其以水平定向显示位于膜102面板上的封闭装置112。封闭装置112具有第一端112a及第二端112b。在端112a与112b之间的封闭长度的中点处提供有桥接材料112c。材料112c可包括一滴热熔或类橡胶(或者其他聚合物或类似材料)胶型材料,以用于敛缝。也可构想出与本发明一同使用的其他可成型或可成形材料。
如图6中所示,通过以下操作来形成包装100:将膜102的第一端105与第二端107围绕填充管并围绕垂直轴线桥接在一起,以沿着从顶部109至底部111的整个膜高度形成鳍状封条120。封闭装置112面向包装内部。由于封闭装置的端112a与112b并不完全彼此接触,因而在邻近鳍状封条形成之处可看到气隙AG。还可以看到,在气隙对面定位有桥接材料112c。
图7及8中显示相应的所形成包装100。包装100是通过将封闭装置112的背面部分挤压至封闭装置112的前面部分中而被密封。如此一来,桥接材料112c被设置在气隙AG中并填充气隙AG。
其他实施例可包括向装置或包装100添加单独的桥接材料112c,以填充或桥接间隙AG并防止发生泄漏。
参照图9-12,桥接材料112c现在刚好位于封闭装置112的端112a及112b以外。当膜102的端105、107被合在一起时,桥接材料112c填充气隙AG。所述包装是通过将封闭装置的背侧部分接合至前侧而被封闭。背侧紧靠被填充的气隙。
参照图13-16,其显示形成鳍状封条的一系列传统步骤,以例示气隙的存在。图13中显示刚好在形成鳍状封条之前,包装的各端。图14中显示鳍状封条20。随后,在图15中,将密封装置的背面部分抵靠前面部分进行封闭(锁定部件被啮合),此会邻近鳍状封条留下气隙AG。如图16中所示,即使封闭装置延伸至鳍状封条中,也无法消除气隙。
现在,相比之下,图17-19例示通过采用前述实施例中所述的桥接材料112c来消除气隙。在将背面密封部分接合至前面部分时,桥接材料112c(其可以是一粒硅酮或敛缝材料或如上所述的其他类似材料)被压缩在一起(图18),以如图19所示填充气隙区域。
参照图20-28,其例示一种由封闭装置112形成桥接材料的方法。图20、21A及21B中显示未被修改的封闭装置112。所述封闭装置包括凸缘部分123及从凸缘部分123延伸的锁定部件125。如图22-23中所示,使用热量、成型工具、砧等,可使封闭装置112的一部分熔融/软化,并邻近一端将其挤压或压制成凸脊、突出部、隆起、珠粒或垂直凸丘122。随后,如图24中所示,在挤压区域的中心处切下区段并将其与卷轴分离,从而形成单独的区段。将所述区段中的一个附装至将要被制成为包装的膜或卷坯。如图26中所示,通过形成鳍状或搭接封条来形成包装。如图27中可见,在形成鳍状封条120时,具轮廓的珠粒部分或隆起122被压缩在一起。如图28中所示,此使得珠粒材料122填充原本将会存在气隙的密封/封闭装置界面区域。
现在参照图29-32,其显示防止出现气隙的另一实施例。与左边缘105及右边缘107中的每一个邻近的是各自的边缘区域,所述边缘区域将用于形成鳍状或搭接封条105a、107a。封闭装置112a的一端局部地延伸至一个鳍状密封边缘区域105a中。对置端112b与对置密封区域107a对准,使得其不延伸至对置密封区域107a中。在一个实施例中,延伸至密封边缘区域的一半处。如图30-32中所示,封闭装置的延伸至密封区域中的端112a被密封至鳍状或搭接封条120中。此使封闭装置的未延伸端112b在一直到达鳍状封条120的内边缘处并且抵靠对置端112a的延伸至鳍状封条中的折叠边缘均凸起,从而消除了气隙。
现在参照图33-35,其显示防止出现气隙的另一实施例。封闭装置112的局部地延伸至一个鳍状密封边缘区域105a中的端112a具有顶部密封装置113,顶部密封装置113在鳍状密封区域开始之前就结束。当形成鳍状封条120且包括密封装置的底部部分114被密封至鳍状封条120中时,非密封顶部部分113会向外弯曲。向外弯曲的部分113桥接封闭装置的对置端112b并形成接触以将气隙封闭。
现在参照图36-39,封闭装置112的局部地延伸至一个鳍状密封边缘区域105a中的端112a具有狭缝115,狭缝115在封闭装置112的垂直高度的接近中点处水平地延伸至封闭装置的延伸区域112a中。当形成鳍状封条120时,位于狭缝下方的下部部分114(其具有密封装置)包绕至鳍状封条120中,且随着鳍状封条在包装形成过程期间改变大小而可调整地进出鳍状封条120。封闭装置的非密封顶部部分113(其没有密封装置)进行桥接,以与封闭装置的对置端112b交会或重叠。重叠部随着鳍状封条120在包装形成过程期间改变大小而被调整。
现在参照图40-44,其显示替代实施例,其中在接近宽度中间的区域中从封闭装置的底部边缘向上形成多个垂直对准的狭缝117,以形成多个铰接区段119。狭缝117向上延伸至封闭装置112的垂直高度的近似一半处。高能量或粘性区段118邻近封闭装置112的底部边缘水平地延伸。当形成鳍状封条120时,铰接区段119被拉起并因存在高能量/粘性材料而由对置前面封闭区域夹住或粘附至对置前面封闭区域。因此,会防止出现气隙。
接下来参照图45-47,封闭装置112的一端112b延伸越过膜102的边缘107,以界定悬伸部分121。当形成鳍状封条时,悬伸部分121因其与封闭装置的相邻端112a重叠的额外高度而在间隙区上方延伸。因此,间隙被封闭。
如图48A-51B中所示,封闭装置112的端112a、112b的形状或大小可被设定成便利于以众多构形进行重叠、互锁或啮合。在图48A中,第一端112a包括其中已从邻近第一端从封闭装置的下半部移除封闭材料的缺口区。各端以图48B中所示的构形进行重叠。在图49A中,第一端112a包括其中已从邻近第一端从封闭装置的下半部移除封闭材料的缺口区。此外,第二端112b在其上半部中邻近第二端112b具有缺口部分。各端以图49B中所示的构形彼此邻接。在图50A中,两端112a及112b接纳相应的曲折形、锯齿形或凸脊状切口,使得其以图50B中所示的构形彼此邻接。在图51A中,两端112a及112b接纳相应的斜面切口,使得其以图51B中所示的构形彼此邻接。也可采用其他形状、大小、特征及构造来为封闭装置112提供可互锁端部分,此并不背离本发明的精神及范围。
接下来参照图52-54,其显示形成有图49A所示密封构形的包装。在第一端112a上,第一端112a的外边缘区域与搭接密封区域的内边界对准。第二端112b通过延伸越过膜107的边缘而形成悬伸部分121。当形成搭接封条时,悬伸部分121与第一端112a嵌合,以消除邻近搭接封条120的任何间隙。
根据本发明的包装可包括全部地或局部地由柔性、刚性、半刚性、或半柔性材料或面板构成的包装。简单地说,包装面板部分通常是由柔性片材构成,所述柔性片材例如是聚乙烯、聚酯、金属箔、聚丙烯、或者与其他材料(例如尼龙、聚酯及类似膜)叠合在一起的聚乙烯或聚丙烯。为实现对阻障性质的提高,实施例可使用由所述材料或类似材料形成的复合层或叠合层。一般来说,在此类复合或叠合实施例中,可将具有优选密封特性的材料接合、结合或叠合至具有不同优选特性(例如,有利的阻氧性质)的材料。无论如何,可基于特定用途及制造需要来实施单层片材、复合层/叠合层、以及为所属领域的技术人员所知的众多其他材料及技术,此并不背离本发明的精神及范围。在某些实施例中,本发明允许使用比原本所需要的材料更廉价或更便宜的材料来制成柔性包装。
可形成包装100及其各部分,以提供自立袋、预制袋、即装即封袋(即一种在“成型-装填-密封”(例如,垂直式、水平式等)机器、热成型机器上被成型并装填的袋)、以及其他已知的包装设计及构形。其他已知的包装设计及包装技术以及特征也可适于并入或形成本发明的构形。
采用封条的实施例可利用热密封、粘性结合及各种其他已知的密封技术。此外,封条或包装部分的各种可撕开或可移除部分可包括缺口、印痕、穿孔、或便利于进行移除的类似形式。
各图及说明公开了特征及附件。然而,必须注意,这些特征本质上仅是例示性,且可被布置成不同的位置、以及不同的构形及形状,且仍符合本发明。包装的各种区域可包括把手部分、通达装置(例如,可重新封闭的拉链装置)等。另外,面板部分的形状及构形也仅是例示性的且可加以更改,此并不背离本发明的精神及范围。面板部分或其所选区域中的任一个可包括各种美观及功能图形,例如,标识、说明、广告、条形码等。这些图形可相对于本文中所述的纵向面板边缘横向地、平行地或甚至以对角定向延伸。

Claims (8)
1.一种具有气隙填充特征的柔性包装,包括:
膜,具有第一侧边缘、第二侧边缘、以及鳍状或搭接封条;以及
封闭装置,被施加至所述膜,所述封闭装置横向对准于所述膜的所述第一侧边缘及所述第二侧边缘,其中所述封闭装置的一端具有一个或多个狭缝以界定顶部边缘区段及底部边缘区段,以及所述一端延伸至所述鳍状或搭接封条以消除在所述鳍状或搭接封条的气隙。
2.一种具有气隙填充特征的柔性包装,包括:
膜,具有第一侧边缘、第二侧边缘及鳍状封条;
封闭装置,具有顶部边缘部分及底部边缘部分、以及第一侧边缘部分及第二侧边缘部分,所述封闭装置是横向于所述膜的所述第一侧边缘及所述第二侧边缘而被施加至所述膜,所述第一侧边缘部分具有一个或多个狭缝以界定所述第一侧边缘部分的顶部边缘区段与底部边缘区段,且所述第一侧边缘部分延伸至所述鳍状封条中,使得所述第一侧边缘部分的至少一部分会消除位于所述鳍状封条与所述第一侧边缘部分及所述第二侧边缘部分中的至少一个侧边缘部分之间的气隙。
3.如权利要求2所述的包装,其中所述一个或多个狭缝横向延伸至所述鳍状封条。
4.如权利要求2所述的包装,其中所述底部边缘区段是以所述鳍状封条被密封。
5.如权利要求2所述的包装,其中所述顶部边缘区段是以所述鳍状封条被密封。
6.如权利要求2所述的包装,其中所述底部边缘区段是以所述鳍状封条被密封,而所述顶部边缘区段不以所述鳍状封条被密封。
7.一种形成柔性包装的方法,包括:
将封闭装置附装至膜,所述封闭装置界定第一端及对置的第二端,其中至少所述第一端具有一个或多个切口或狭缝以界定所述第一端的顶部边缘区段及底部边缘区段;
沿着所述膜的边缘形成鳍状或搭接封条;以及
将所述封闭装置的至少所述第一端延伸至所述鳍状或搭接封条中,使得所述第一端的至少一部分会消除位于所述鳍状或搭接封条与所述第一端及所述第二端中的至少一个端之间的气隙。
8.如权利要求7所述的方法,其中所述封闭装置的所述第一端或所述第二端中的一个是悬伸式。
