背景技术
在注塑成型(injection molding)应用中,腔体压力传感器被用来提供工艺数据,以便于提高零件质量并且自动地检测质量缺陷。腔体压力传感器包括从施加的力产生电信号的传感器本体。其还包括将电信号传递到信号调节单元的电缆。信号调节放大模拟电信号,并且在有些情况下将电信号转换为要被读入到计算机化的工艺监测器或控制装置中的数字信号。
用于注塑成型的腔体感测基于两种技术,压电传感器和应变片传感器(straingage sensor)。在压电传感器中,传感器本体产生电荷(按微微库仑计量),其经由两个导体同轴电缆被输送到信号调节单元。近十年来,压电传感器已经可以具有多通道连接器。这些多通道连接器的优点是允许将多个传感器附连到它们相应的信号调节单元的单个连接点。这减少了模具侧面上所需要的空间、连接到信号调节单元所需要的电缆的数量和将多个传感器与它们相应的信号调节单元配对所涉及的复杂性。
此外,在许多注塑成型传感器应用中,信号调节单元被直接安装在模具的侧面上。尽管这提供了某些优点,但是它使得信号调节单元遭受高热、震动和在一些模具上的冲击,这可能永久地损坏信号调节单元。通过使用多通道连接器,信号调节单元的安装可以远离模具的热和震动下,同时仅利用从模具到信号调节单元的单个连接电缆。
在另一方面,应变片传感器需要具有四个导体的电缆:连接器中的两个提供激励电压并且另外两个输送毫伏信号。这些传感器具有整体电缆,其在大多数情况下永久地附连到信号调节单元。顾客会希望能够在应变片传感器应用中使用多通道连接器,但是这受到以下技术挑战的限制。
首先,在应变片传感器中,由电缆输送的毫伏信号需要电子屏蔽来防止杂散电磁干扰(EMI)引入信号噪声。EMI是注塑成型环境中的特有问题,并且用于成型应用的应变片传感器历来就需要屏蔽以防止信号噪声。
其次,多通道连接器需要传感器具有附连到多通道连接器的连接点。由于更多数量的导体,因而难以找到足够小的连接器来适配到多通道连接器上。在连接器尺寸上的主要限制因素是金属外壳,其通常被用于提供针对电子噪声的屏蔽。
此外,难以在连接时找到可靠地承载电缆的屏蔽通路(shield through)的屏蔽连接器。
最后,满足尺寸和屏蔽约束两者的连接器极其昂贵。
本发明通过在模具内部使用未屏蔽的电缆和连接器来克服所有这些挑战。通过移除屏蔽,本发明的发明人已经发现更小、更便宜的连接器可以被用于将各个应变片传感器附连到多通道连接器。此外,为了防止由于EMI而引入信号噪声,发现通过将未屏蔽的电缆和连接器紧密地封闭在模具内部的紧密密封的屏蔽室内来实现信号噪声的降低。这里,紧密密封的模具和多通道连接器提供这种屏蔽。屏蔽层被360°地系到多通道连接器的屏蔽延长电缆然后被用于将信号输送到信号调节器,所述信号调节器可以远离热和震动而被安装在模具上或从模具上取下。
发明内容
本发明是一种用于在注塑模具中使用的腔体应变片传感器配置,包括以下:应变片传感器、信号调节器和安装在模具的侧面上并且提供紧密的电子屏蔽室的中间连接器。还有安装在电子屏蔽室内、用于将应变片连接到中间连接器的未屏蔽电缆和用于所述电缆的未屏蔽连接器。还具有将中间连接器连接到所述信号连接器的屏蔽延长电缆,其中360°的屏蔽层在其连接器上承载通过并且被系到中间连接器和信号调节器的壳体。

具体实施方式
图1示出了装备有中间连接器2的注塑模具14。注塑模具14具有位于注塑模具14的顶面18上的多通道信号调节器4。中间连接器2被安装在模具14的推板20内并且被模具盖板22覆盖。此外,中间连接器2与推板20和模具盖板22紧密接触,以使得该三个部件在模具内形成紧密的屏蔽室。中间连接器2经由屏蔽电缆6连接到多通道信号调节器4。在注塑模具14外面的屏蔽电缆6必须被屏蔽以防止电磁干扰。电磁干扰在信号传送中产生差的质量。随着中间连接器2结合到推板20中并且被盖板22紧密地封闭,人们可以在注塑工艺期间测量模具14内的塑压的量并且清楚地将信号传送到信号调节器4。此外还示出了模具盖板16。
图2示出了被安装到没有模具盖板22的注塑模具14的中间连接器2。该图示出了将多通道信号调节器4连接到中间连接器2的屏蔽电缆6。屏蔽电缆6从多通道信号调节器4离开,在此其连接到在注塑模具14内被紧密地密封的未屏蔽电缆10。未屏蔽电缆10从中间连接器2延伸到传感器容器34内的应变片传感器12(例如惠斯通电桥)。全惠斯通电桥、半惠斯通电桥和四分之一惠斯通电桥可用于本发明中的优点。未屏蔽连接器26沿着未屏蔽电缆10的长度在半途安装,并且允许从中间连接器2移除应变片传感器12。一旦完成连接,更换模具盖板16。
已经发现,将未屏蔽电缆10放置成在注塑模具14内紧密地密封防止电磁干扰。这种阻断电磁干扰的方式使得使用便宜得多的未屏蔽电缆10来将信号传送到屏蔽电缆6和多通道信号调节器4成为可能。该步骤显著地降低了成本并且允许快速便宜地重新配置未屏蔽电缆10。
还已经发现模具14防止电磁干扰,导致高质量的信号。费用的降低连同高质量的信号相较于所有其它现有技术提供了明显的优势。
Claims (15)
1.一种用于在注塑模具中使用的腔体应变片传感器配置,包括:
i.应变片传感器;
ii.信号调节器;
iii.安装在模具的侧面上并且提供紧密的电子屏蔽室的中间连接器;
iv.安装在所述电子屏蔽室内的未屏蔽电缆和用于所述未屏蔽电缆的未屏蔽连接器,所述未屏蔽电缆和所述未屏蔽连接器用于将所述应变片传感器连接到所述中间连接器;
v屏蔽电缆,用于将所述中间连接器连接到所述信号调节器,其中屏蔽层承载在所述中间连接器上并且被系到所述中间连接器和所述信号调节器的壳体。
2.根据权利要求1所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述应变片传感器利用全惠斯通电桥传感器元件。
3.根据权利要求1所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述应变片传感器利用半惠斯通电桥传感器元件。
4.根据权利要求1所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述应变片传感器利用四分之一惠斯通电桥传感器元件。
5.根据权利要求3所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述惠斯通电桥的完成电路位于所述未屏蔽连接器中。
6.根据权利要求4所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述惠斯通电桥的完成电路位于所述未屏蔽连接器中。
7.根据权利要求1所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,多个应变片传感器使用所述未屏蔽电缆和所述未屏蔽连接器附连到所述中间连接器。
8.根据权利要求1所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,用于多个应变片传感器的激励信号由所述屏蔽电缆中的公共导线提供。
9.一种用于在注塑模具中使用的腔体应变片传感器配置,包括:
i.应变片传感器;
ii.安装在模具的侧面上并且提供紧密的电子屏蔽室的中间连接器;
iii.安装在所述电子屏蔽室内的未屏蔽电缆和用于所述未屏蔽电缆的未屏蔽连接器,所述未屏蔽电缆和所述未屏蔽连接器用于将所述应变片传感器连接到所述中间连接器,所述未屏蔽电缆和所述未屏蔽连接器在模具的所述电子屏蔽室内部被屏蔽。
10.根据权利要求9所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述应变片传感器利用全惠斯通电桥传感器元件。
11.根据权利要求9所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述应变片传感器利用半惠斯通电桥传感器元件。
12.根据权利要求9所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述应变片传感器利用四分之一惠斯通电桥传感器元件。
13.根据权利要求11所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述惠斯通电桥的完成电路位于所述未屏蔽连接器中。
14.根据权利要求12所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,所述惠斯通电桥的完成电路位于所述未屏蔽连接器中。
15.根据权利要求9所述的应变片传感器配置,其中,多个应变片传感器使用所述未屏蔽电缆和所述未屏蔽连接器附连到所述中间连接器。
