涂料组合物为本领域技术人员熟知,且一般由至少一种成膜剂和由矿物来源的颜料如铁氧化物组成或由染料组成的着色体系组成。
偶氮染料通常在涂料组合物的制备中用作着色剂,以赋予以干燥形式形成的膜明亮颜色。
与偶氮染料的使用相关的欧洲法规的最新变化导致生产商寻求替代品和开发用于着色涂料组合物的体系,所述体系赋予明亮颜色,随时间光稳定,且不含偶氮衍生物。
被称作“天然”染料的那些可构成偶氮染料的替代品。大部分天然染料通过选择性提取存在于水果和蔬菜中的有色分子获得。例如,可提及花色素、类胡萝卜素等。它们允许获得明亮颜色,但是通过这些染料赋予干燥形式的这些颜色的光稳定性通常是平常的。
基于欧洲指令1334/2008,其定义了用于食品中的天然调味剂,专业机构NATCOL(天然食用色素协会)建议通过将所述指令转用于染料根据它们如何获得分类天然染料,以建立清楚的定义。这些相同定义用于本专利申请中。
该分类包括两种类型:不存在于自然界中的染料和存在于自然界中的染料。在后者中,所述分类区分了通过化学合成获得的有色物质和通过进行使用天然来源作为原料的方法获得的有色物质,例如在提取和/或蒸馏和/或酶发酵过程中使用的动物、蔬菜或矿物来源原料。
在存在于自然界并由天然原料获得的这些天然染料中,因此可提及花色素苷(E163)、叶绿素(E140)、类胡萝卜素(E160a)、姜黄素(E100)、叶黄素(E161b)、番茄红素(E160b)和辣椒提取物(E160c)。
然而,在制备薄膜涂覆组合物中使用存在于自然界并由天然原料获得的这些天然染料并不允许将随长时间暴露于光中稳定的颜色赋予涂有所述薄膜涂覆组合物的干燥形式。
专利申请WO 2011/089248公开了包含如下组分的组合物:
a)水相,包含水,至少一种选自丙二醇、乙醇、甘油三乙酸酯和甘油的助溶剂以及任选的至少一种选自蔗糖、果糖和葡萄糖的糖;
b)表面活性剂体系,包含至少一种皂角苷和卵磷脂;和
c)油相,包含至少一种选自调味剂、维生素、染料和多不饱和脂肪酸的物质。
这些组合物用于制备食品组合物(食品和饮料)。
该专利申请的说明书公开了优选的染料:类胡萝卜素、叶黄素和辣椒提取物。
专利申请US 2007/0202222公开了食品包装盒,其含有在其里面浸渍或涂覆有至少一种染料的织物材料和/或再生纤维素。
所述有色食品特别是辣椒、菊苣、香辛料、焦糖和西红柿提取物。
专利申请WO 2006/066389描述和要求保护干胶囊形式的组合物,包含含有至少70重量%蛋白质的不溶基质、5-10%水和包封的活性剂,其特征在于一旦在无色的水溶液或矿物油中润湿,所述基质具有大于40的亮度色度组成L*,小于或等于33的颜色饱和度色度值C*和70-90°的“色相角”。
本发明发明人因此寻求开发意欲用于涂覆干燥形式的组合物,进而在后者上提供有色膜,其颜色具有高强度,在长时间暴露于光中后保持稳定,同时这些涂料组合物必须不含偶氮类型的染料。
根据第一方面,本发明主题为其重量的每100%包含如下组分的涂料组合物:
-10-90重量%,优选30-80重量%至少一种成膜聚合物,选自纤维素聚合物或纤维素聚合物的衍生物、乙烯醇的衍生物、乙烯基吡咯烷酮的衍生物、天然来源的聚合物、丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸系衍生物、乙二醇或丙二醇衍生物或两种这些物质的组合或乙烯醇-聚乙二醇(PEG)共聚物,
-1-50重量%,优选10-40重量%至少一种有色食品,和
-0-50重量%,优选0-40重量%至少一种辅助涂覆剂,选自白色遮光剂、稀释剂、表面活性剂、增塑剂和消泡剂。
根据一个特定方面,本发明主题为如上文所定义的组合物,其特征在于所述至少一种成膜聚合物选自甲基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素钠、乙基纤维素、PVA(聚乙烯醇)、PVA-PEG(聚乙二醇)共聚物、聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮(PVP)、乙烯吡咯烷酮-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、淀粉、麦芽糊精改性的淀粉、藻酸盐、果胶、阿拉伯胶、瓜尔胶、角叉菜胶、黄原胶、菊粉、壳聚糖、甲基丙烯酸-乙酸乙酯共聚物或聚乙二醇-聚丙二醇(PEG-PPG)共聚物。
根据一个特定方面,本发明主题为如上文所定义的组合物,其特征在于所述至少一种辅助涂覆剂选自白色遮光剂,例如二氧化钛、滑石、高岭土、氧化镁;稀释剂,例如乳糖、蔗糖、甘露醇、山梨醇、木糖、木糖醇、异麦芽糖醇、纤维素、滑石、天然淀粉;表面活性剂,例如山梨聚糖酯、乙氧化的山梨聚糖酯、氢化和乙氧化的蓖麻油、卵磷脂、月桂基硫酸钠、乙氧化的脂肪醇、乙氧化的脂肪酸;增塑剂,例如丙三醇、聚丙二醇、聚乙二醇或其与脂肪酸或脂肪醇来自缩合的衍生物、硬脂酸及其衍生物、乙酰化的单酸甘油酯;和消泡剂,例如脂肪酸或聚硅氧烷衍生物。
根据一个特定方面,本发明主题为如上文所定义的组合物,其特征在于所述至少一种有色食品选自浓缩的水果和蔬菜,例如红花、海藻、胡萝卜、紫胡萝卜、黑胡萝卜、芙蓉、萝卜、黑加仑、苹果、柠檬、菠菜、葡萄、黑加仑、红球甘蓝、接骨木果、甜菜根、南瓜(pumpkin)、倭瓜(squash)、荨麻、姜黄、藏红花、红莓和辣椒。
根据一个特定方面,本发明主题为如上文所定义的组合物,其特征在于其包含10-40重量%有色食品。优选,其包含10-30重量%有色食品。
根据欧洲法规需要批准的食品色素应与有色食品区分开来,有色食品不需要该法规批准并用于形成本发明主题的组合物中。
术语“有色食品”的定义根据其中所述食品获得的方式建立。具体而言,获取有色食品一定不能由选择性提取有色物质构成;此外,有色食品必须保持其感观特性,即其香味、味道和颜色。例如,以其植物形式使用和用于获得绿色的由蒸煮、研磨、干燥或浓缩菠菜获得的菠菜菜浆是有色食品。
有色食品是具有着色性能的浓缩水果和蔬菜。将它们分类为成分而非添加剂。特别地,它们具有以下性能:
-源自可食用的植物,
-仅涉及水作为溶剂的物理加工,
-不选择性提取有色材料,
-不加入功能添加剂。
在现有技术中,没有公开或建议与涂有包含食品色素或有色颜料的涂料组合物的相同固体形式相比,与至少一种成膜剂一起使用包含有色食品的涂料组合物,以在长时间暴露于光中的过程中改善涂有所述涂料组合物(意欲用于食品、兽医或药物用途)的固体形式的颜色强度的稳定性。
然而,出人意料地,在涂料组合物中使用这些浓缩水果和蔬菜允许获得明亮的颜色,其比利用包含从水果和蔬菜选择性提取的天然染料的涂料组合物获得的那些更稳定。
根据另一个特定方面,本发明主题为如上文所定义的组合物,其特征在于其为随时可用的形式,以含水分散体、粉末或随时可用的颗粒的形式包含其各种成分的混合物。
将术语“含水分散体”理解为在水或水与水溶性醇如乙醇的混合物中制备的分散体。
随时可用的组合物具有几个优势:
-只处理、储存和检查一种产品。
-更好的颜色和性能再现性。
-更容易分散。
本发明另一个主题为制备如上文所定义和为干粉末形式的涂料组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-步骤(a),将成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的一种或多种其它辅助涂覆剂混合,
-任选的步骤(b),研磨从步骤(a)获得的混合物形成所述涂料组合物。
在如上文所定义的方法中,依次或同时加入所有组分以进行步骤(a)。
然后混合一般利用桨式混合器、转鼓混合器或V-混合器类型的粉末混合器进行。
如上文所定义方法的步骤(b)例如借助于切碎机或销磨机进行,以获得细碎的粉末,或利用低温研磨装置一般在液氮下进行。
这种装置允许优化涂料组合物的最终粒度。
本发明另一个主题为制备如上文所定义和为随时可用颗粒形式的涂料组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-步骤(a1),利用粘合剂溶液润湿成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的一种或多种其它辅助涂覆剂的混合物,以获得包含30-60%水的湿物质体,
-步骤(b1),干燥在步骤(a1)中获得的湿物质体,和如果所需或需要,
-步骤(c1),校准在步骤(b1)中获得的干燥物质体以获得所述涂料组合物。
如上文所定义的方法例如描述于以号FR 2548675和FR 2660317公开的法国专利申请或Kirk-Othmer百科全书(第3版,第17卷,第281页)中。
将术语“颗粒”主要理解为性质可相同或不同的材料的几十个至几千个起初分离的颗粒的附聚物。
如上文所定义的方法的步骤(a1)和(b1)特别在混合器/粒化器或流化床中进行。
如上文所定义的方法的步骤(c1)特别在炉或流化床中进行。
本发明另一个主题为制备如上文所定义并为含水分散体形式的涂料组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-步骤(a2),将成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的一种或多种其它辅助涂覆剂分散在水相中,
-步骤(b2),研磨从步骤(a1)获得的混合物以形成所述涂料组合物。
本发明另一个主题为如上文所定义的涂料组合物在涂覆可吸收固体形式中的用途。
术语“可吸收固体形式”用于指可为人体或动物吸收的固体形式,不管其目的,无论是药物、饮食补充物、意欲用于化妆用途的形式、糖果(confectionery)或糖果(candy)。如上文所定义的涂料组合物的用途更具体地意欲用于片剂。
本发明另一个主题为涂覆可食用固体形式的方法,包括:
-步骤(a3),将包含成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的其它辅助涂覆剂的混合物分散在合适溶剂如含水介质中;
-步骤(b3),将在步骤(a3)中获得的分散体喷雾至待涂覆的固体基底上。
在如上文所定义的方法的步骤(a3)中,借助于混合器和反絮凝的叶轮或“船”型叶片将各种成分保持在分散体中,同时避免形成泡沫。
在如上文所定义的方法的步骤(a3)中,涂料组合物表示所述分散体重量的每100%的6-30重量%,更特别为6-25重量%,甚至更特别为6-20重量%。
-分散体的制备
以25重量%将涂料组合物分散在水中。对各组合物而言,制备600g分散体:在25℃下将150g组合物分散在450g纯水中。分散借助于TurbotestV2004型实验室混合器(由Rayneri销售)和反絮凝叶轮进行。调节混合速度以避免将空气结合到分散体中,这避免了形成泡沫。混合45分钟后,分散体就准备好了。
-薄膜涂覆
在由DRIAM销售的Driacoater 500穿孔薄膜涂覆盘中将分散体喷雾至安慰剂片剂上;盘中核心的载荷为3kg。遵循以下操作条件:空气流=300m3/h,干燥空气的输入温度:55-60℃。在薄膜涂覆操作过程中核心的温度在36-38℃之间变动。将3%的理论干沉积物应用于片剂。
根据上述方法使用所述涂料组合物允许制备涂覆的药物、兽医或饮食补充片剂。以下实施例以非限定的方式阐述本发明。
实施例
实施例1:如下配制涂料组合物,其成分以重量百分数表示:
其重量的每100%包含49.75重量%微晶纤维素、49.75重量%乳糖和0.5重量%硬脂酸镁的500mg片剂涂有涂料组合物A和B。
涂覆在由Profile Automation销售的穿孔“PILOT XT实验室片剂涂覆器”盘中进行,载有2kg片剂。
在在先涂覆步骤结束时,然后将所得涂覆片剂置于日光和黑暗中以测定着色稳定性。
使用由NEWTONE销售的MEDSCAN色度计定期监视片剂的颜色。
颜色饱和度的解释,根据饱和度C*参数,根据式:C*=(a*2+b*2)1/2计算。
包含有色食品的涂料组合物B允许获得片剂,所述片剂的颜色在日光中保持强烈和稳定至少7周。
相反,就通过包含类胡萝卜素的组合物A涂覆的片剂观察到颜色的明显损失。
实施例2:如下制备和配制涂料组合物,其成分以重量百分数表示和染料/有色食品浓度更高:
其重量的每100%包含49.75重量%微晶纤维素、49.75重量%乳糖和0.5重量%硬脂酸镁的500mg片剂涂有涂料组合物C、D和E。涂覆在由Profile Automation销售的穿孔“PILOT XT实验室片剂涂覆器”盘中进行,载有2kg片剂。
在在先涂覆步骤结束时,为了稳定性目的然后将所得涂覆片剂置于日光和黑暗中。使用由NEWTONE销售的MEDSCAN色度计定期监视片剂的颜色。
同上,包含有色食品的根据本发明的涂料组合物E允许获得用于片剂的颜色,所述颜色在日光中强烈和稳定6个月。此外,与6个月后在黑暗中所测L*a*b*参数相比,6个月后在光中就涂有组合物E的片剂所测L*a*b*参数表现出非常小的差别。
相反,就涂有包含类胡萝卜素作为着色体系的组合物C和D的片剂观察到颜色的明显损失。因此,结果并不取决于所用染料的量。
用于描述颜色的参数可包括在三个范畴下:
-色相,其特征在于颜色本身(绿、红等)
-亮度,其特征在于着色样品或多或少程度地反射光的能力(浅色、深色等)
-饱和度,其特征在于样品颜色的强度(明亮的颜色=饱和的颜色)。
CIELab 1976体系用于在数学上表示颜色的色度坐标。
该体系具有两种表示模式:
-通过L*a*b*坐标表示,其中L*表示亮度轴,a表示*红/绿轴,b*表示黄/蓝轴。
-通过L*C*h0坐标表示,其中L*表示亮度轴,C*表示饱和度轴,h0表示色相角。
为了颜色稳定,L*a*b*或L*C*h0随时间的变动必须尽可能小。
L*a*b*坐标用于本发明实施例中。
Claims (10)
1.涂料组合物,其重量的每100%包含:
- 10-90重量%至少一种成膜聚合物,选自甲基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素钠、乙基纤维素、PVA(聚乙烯醇)、PVA-PEG(聚乙二醇)共聚物、聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮(PVP)、乙烯吡咯烷酮-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、藻酸盐、果胶、阿拉伯胶、瓜尔胶、角叉菜胶、黄原胶、菊粉、壳聚糖、甲基丙烯酸-乙酸乙酯共聚物或聚乙二醇-聚丙二醇(PEG-PPG)共聚物,
- 1-50重量%至少一种有色食品,和
- 0-50重量%至少一种辅助涂覆剂,选自白色遮光剂、稀释剂、表面活性剂、增塑剂和消泡剂。
2.前述权利要求中任一项要求保护的涂料组合物,其特征在于所述至少一种辅助涂覆剂选自白色遮光剂,例如二氧化钛、滑石、高岭土、氧化镁;稀释剂,例如乳糖、蔗糖、甘露醇、山梨醇、木糖、木糖醇、异麦芽糖醇、纤维素、滑石、天然淀粉;表面活性剂,例如山梨聚糖酯、乙氧化的山梨聚糖酯、氢化和乙氧化的蓖麻油、卵磷脂、月桂基硫酸钠、乙氧化的脂肪醇、乙氧化的脂肪酸;增塑剂,例如丙三醇、聚丙二醇、聚乙二醇或其与脂肪酸或脂肪醇来自缩合的衍生物、硬脂酸及其衍生物、乙酰化的单酸甘油酯;和消泡剂,例如脂肪酸或聚硅氧烷衍生物。
3.如前述权利要求中任一项所定义的涂料组合物,其特征在于所述至少一种有色食品选自浓缩的水果和蔬菜,例如红花、海藻、胡萝卜、紫胡萝卜、黑胡萝卜、芙蓉、萝卜、黑加仑、苹果、柠檬、菠菜、葡萄、黑加仑、红球甘蓝、接骨木果、甜菜根、南瓜、倭瓜、荨麻、姜黄、藏红花、红莓和辣椒。
4.如前述权利要求中任一项所定义的涂料组合物,其特征在于其包含10-40重量%有色食品,优选10-30重量%有色食品。
5.如前述权利要求中任一项所定义的涂料组合物,其特征在于其为含水分散体、粉末或随时可用的颗粒形式。
6.制备如权利要求1-5中任一项所定义和为干粉末形式的涂料组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-步骤(a),将成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的一种或多种其它辅助涂覆剂混合,
-任选的步骤(b),研磨从步骤(a)获得的混合物形成所述涂料组合物。
7.制备如权利要求1-5中任一项所定义和为随时可用颗粒形式的涂料组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-步骤(a1),利用粘合剂溶液将成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的一种或多种其它辅助涂覆剂的混合物润湿,以获得包含30-60%水的湿物质体,
-步骤(b1),干燥在步骤(a1)中获得的湿物质体,和如果所需或需要
-步骤(c1),校准在步骤(b1)中获得的干燥物质体以获得所述涂料组合物。
8.制备如权利要求1-5中任一项所定义的为含水分散体形式的涂料组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
-步骤(a2),将成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的一种或多种其它辅助涂覆剂分散在水相中,
-步骤(b2),研磨从步骤(a1)获得的混合物以形成所述涂料组合物。
9.如权利要求1-5中任一项所定义的涂料组合物在涂覆可吸收固体形式中的用途。
10.制备涂覆的固体形式的方法,其特征在于其包括:
-步骤(a3),将包含成膜聚合物、有色食品和如果必要或需要的其它辅助涂覆剂的如权利要求1-5中任一项所定义的组合物分散在合适溶剂如含水介质中;
-步骤(b3),将在步骤(a3)中获得的分散体喷雾至待涂覆的固体基底上。
