Description

本发明涉及一种用于抛光的管状毛毡,尤其是特别适用于抛光阴极射线管面板的管状毛毡。
通常在抛光一个阴极线管的面板时,用的是装接在增压空气抛光机的橡胶转筒上的管状机织毛毡。这种机织毛毡一般包括由羊毛和尼龙混纺并且随后经过在酸性溶液或碱性溶液中缩绒的纱线织成的织物。
将上述那种通常用的管状毛毡用于抛光,所获得的经抛光的面板质量还是可以的。但是,由于它对玻璃抛光的能力比较低劣,所需抛光的时间就要延长,而且由于它的抗磨损性能不够,它的使用寿命是非常有限的。
在另一方面,如果用合成纤维制成的管状毛毡,则由于它的疏松度比较小,水就不太可能保持在毛毡中。此外,纤维本身的吸湿性能太差,在抛光过程中生成的热也不易很快发散,因此,由于在抛光过程中生成的热,纤维就趋向于融化,形成一层薄膜。当这种现象发生时,研磨出的微粒趋向于积聚在薄膜的表面,其本身又造成抛光面的损坏。还有,虽然合成纤维管状毛毡在抛光的速度和耐用性方面优于机织毛毡,但完成的抛光面由于上述的抛光面上可能存在的损坏,其质量就比较低劣。
本发明的目的是提供一种抛光用的管状毛毡,它具有较好的耐用性和高度的水分保持能力,而不致有融化和形成薄膜的可能性。
为达到上述目的,所提供的抛光用毛毡包括有:
一种用非热缩性经纱和热缩性纬纱织成的织物;
一种用针线缝牢在所述织物表面上的热缩性撞接面;和
一种与所述热缩性纬纱和热缩性撞接面中的一种相混合的非热融性吸湿纤维。
此外,如果上述吸湿性的纤维是羊毛的话,则管状毛毡在吸湿性能上是优越的,而且还具有高度的弹性。
图1是本发明管状毛毡的示意图;
图2(a)是本发明管状毛毡的截面图,显示其织物结构;
图2(b)是通常用的管状毛毡的截面图,显示其织物结构;和
图3是一幅透视图,说明如何利用一个管状毛毡来抛光一个阴级射线管的面板。
以下将参照附图对本发明的一个实施例予以叙述。
在附图中,标号1表示一个管状毛毡的主体,它被制成管状从而可以装在一个增压空气转筒式抛光机的转筒D上。主体1包括一个管状织物2和一个撞接面3。所述织物2包括织成管子形状的非热缩性经纱4(轴方向)和热缩性纬纱5(圆周方向)。
撞接面3包括由热缩性聚酯型合成纤维主要组分和非热融性吸湿纤维混纺制成的一个短纤维层,其中吸湿纤维的重量占短纤维层重量的30%或略少一些,从而使其在70至80℃的温度范围内有较高的热缩性。在这里,“非热融性”性能指的是纤维在受到摩擦热后不会有融化和变成薄膜的可能性。作为具有所要求吸湿性能的纤维的举例,可以有羊毛、人造丝或棉花,或者它们在适当比率下的混合物。在所述实施例中用的是羊毛,因为羊毛在弹性和与抛光面的亲和力方面具有优越性。所述撞接面3是用针线缝合在织物2的面上的,这样即使在抛光过程中施加以大的摩擦力下也不会发生错位现象。
经纱4包括一种非热缩性的纤维,例如尼龙型的合成纤维。与此相反,纬纱5象上面所说的撞接面3一样,包括一种在70至80℃的温度范围内具有高度热缩性的纤维,如聚酯型纤维,和一种非热融性吸湿纤维,所述的两种纤维用混纺制成(图2(a))。在所述实施例中的纬纱5,与撞接面3一样,是由一种聚酯型合成纤维的主要组分与羊毛混纺制成的,其中羊毛的重量占30%或略少。还需说明的是在产品管状毛毡中,沿圆周方向的纱线常被称作“经纱”;而沿轴向方向的纱线被称作“纬纱”。但是,在本说明书中,由于是根据管状毛毡在编织时命名的,因此沿母线方向的纱线被称作“经纱”,而沿圆周方向的纱线被称为“纬纱”。
织物2首先安装在转筒D上,然后用70至80℃温度的水浇在撞接面3上。于是撞接面3以及织物2内的纬纱5都发生急剧的热收缩,使织物2牢固地固定在转筒D的表面上。于此同时,撞接面3就成为具有适当弹性和硬度,适合于抛光用的高度耐磨损的毛毡。此外,纬纱5和撞接面3能够在抛光的操作过程中保持水分,从而能在展示出羊毛与抛光面良好的亲和力的同时,将热有效地发散出去。
如图3所示,本发明管状毛毡被用于对一个阴极射线管的面板进抛光,以便与用羊毛和尼龙混纺制成的寻常机织毛毡的操作效能作比较。本发明的管状毛毡展示出优越的耐磨损性能,它的使用寿命也大大提高了。此外,由于它对玻璃抛光的能力有很大的改进,完成抛光一块面板所需的时间也就降低了。
表1中所列的测试结果是在以下的条件下获得的:
转筒的转速:580转/分钟
压力:0.8公斤/厘米2
抛光液的浓度:1.2%
抛光时间:50小时

从表1中可以观察到,本发明的管状毛毡在抛光的能力和使用寿命方面都优越于寻常的管状毛毡,因此可以推定所抛光的面的质量一定也较好,因为不可能有粘咬的粒子存在,这种粘咬的粒子可能会在前面所说的纤维融化并变成薄膜的情况下产生。
由于本发明提供了一种包括有一种由非热缩性经纱和热缩性纬纱织成的织物和一种用针线缝在所述织物表面上的热缩性撞接面的抛光用管状毛毡和一种与所述热缩性纬纱和热缩性撞接面中的至少一种相混合的非热融性的吸湿纤维,因此只要将热水浇在织物上就能使其牢固地固定在抛光机的转筒上,并同时使毛毡变成坚实和密致,带有较好的抛光能力。此外,由于热缩性合成纤维和非热融性的吸湿纤维相混和,吸湿纤维的良好热散发性能可以加到合成纤维的优越抛光能力和耐磨损的性能中。尤其是,因为热缩性合成纤维与羊毛相混和,羊毛的优良吸湿性能和与抛光面的亲和力都能够完全利用。
因此,管状毛毡的安装不但是容易了,而且抛光面的强度及耐磨损性能也得到大大地改进。还有,管状毛毡的使用寿命可以延长,抛光操作的效力也有很大改进。此外,由于组成织物的纤维的吸湿性能和非热融性能避免了在抛光面上的融化和形成薄膜,抛光面损伤的可能性减少了,因而使抛光面具有很高的质量。此外,由于本发明的管状毛毡可以装在除了抛光转筒外的其他圆筒形体上,因此它也可以用作运输机圆筒或运输机托辊的减震材料,噪音吸收材料或表面防护材料等。

Claims (2)

1、一种用于抛光的管状毛毡,它包括:
一种用非热缩性经纱和热缩性纬纱织成的织物;
一种用针线缝牢在所述织物表面的热缩性撞接面;和
一种与所述热缩性纬纱和热缩性撞接面中的一种相混和的非热融性吸湿纤维。
2、如权利要求1所述的管状毛毡,其特征在于其中所述吸湿纤维是羊毛。
